Death, The Final Warning for Mankind

This Sabbath lesson from Israel Church of the Firstborn in Indianapolis comes the day after the Memorial of the Blowing of the Trumpets, and Brother Obadiah turns from the coming of the Lord to the thing that is already happening: people are dying. Earthquakes, floods, war, famine, and the deaths close to home are not random to him. They are the wages of sin, and they are meant to get the attention of everybody still living. The lesson works through the Lord's controversy with the inhabitants of the land, the soul that sinneth, the fig tree that got one more year, and what God actually says it takes to turn and live. Every passage is read in the King James Version.

1.The Sabbath Script, for the Newcomers

He opens the way he always does, aimed at anybody new. Leviticus the twenty-third chapter names the seventh day as a sabbath of rest and a holy convocation.

Leviticus 23:1-3 KJV

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

3Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

"I always like to target the new people, because it is the new people that we searching for. The lost sheep are the ones we are looking for, the people who don't know nothing about the Sabbath day at all. Not only do you have to love God, you also have to do what God requires you to do."

"Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation. If you are coming into the word and you got to get a job, make sure you ain't working on the Sabbath. Sometimes you might have to take a lesser living. Satan has it designed to where we cannot keep the Sabbath day, because he got everybody broke and got everybody feeling like I got to take a job where I got to work on the Sabbath. No you don't. Peter said we got to obey God rather than man."

"An holy convocation is a holy gathering. That means we got to gather, not at your job. You got to gather at church. Why? Because the Sabbath day is a sign between God and his people."

And Saint Luke the fourth chapter, because he says we call ourselves Christians, and Christian just means Christlike.

St. Luke 4:14-16 KJV

14And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

15And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

"Not only did Jesus come and die for the sins of the people, and not only did he come to deliver you from death and give you eternal life, Jesus also came to teach. Jesus was also a teacher."

"And as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. His custom was his way of life. If you going to follow Christ, you got to do the things that Christ did. Most people that are new cannot take the blinders off of the Sunday church, and you got to take them off if you going to follow the Lord in truth and in righteousness."

2.The Lord Hath a Controversy With the Inhabitants of the Land

He sets the lesson up out of the news and out of the neighborhood, and then goes to Hosea the fourth chapter, spoken to the ten tribes.

"Last Sabbath I made mention about all of the earthquakes that have happened. We see all of the floods and things like that. Even in Indiana, from the floods that we had, we had about seven or eight people died right there. In the eyes of the Lord, one is good enough."

"When you see all of the death and the destruction and the war and the famine going on in the land, all of that is going on to do one thing, and that is to get the attention of those that are living. When you got death going on around you, God already done took them. So now those that are alive, one day you going to be in that same situation."

"So the title of this lesson is death, the final warning for mankind. This your last warning, world. This what God is telling you. I'm killing people around you, I'm killing people in other countries, and I'm killing people where you dwell, to get your attention, to let you know that you got to repent. Every day when you pray to the Lord, the main thing you have to be concentrating on is repenting for your behavior."

Hosea 4:1-6 KJV

1Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

2By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

3Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

4Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.

5Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.

6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

"Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel, for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. It is nothing changed. He got a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth no more, no mercy from the people, no forgiveness from the people, and no knowledge of God in the land."

"By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. You hear why God got a controversy? We got a whole lot of swearing going on. I swear on my mama, I swear on this, I swear on God. A whole lot of lying, a whole lot of killing and stealing, and a whole lot of committing adultery. That is what is going on in the world right now."

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. That is why we are being destroyed. We don't have no knowledge when it come to the word of God. Nobody understands how he operates. Nobody understands the operation of God's hands. So that is why people are dying, because they have no knowledge."

"Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee. You could have got the knowledge, but you rejected it. Seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. And he not lying about that. You got a generation of kids the parents can't tell nothing no more. You got the youth raising the youth."

And the more the ten tribes prospered, the further they went from him.

Hosea 4:7-11 KJV

7As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

8They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.

9And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.

10For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

11Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.

"As they were increased, so they sinned against me. The more God blessed them, the more money they got, the more money they made, that is what turned them away from the Lord. Therefore will I change their glory into shame."

"I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their doings. You going to get a reward, but the reward you going to get is not the reward you looking for in the end. You think you going to make it and get eternal life and dwell with the Lord, but your reward going to be in the lake of fire if you don't change your ways."

"For they shall eat, and not have enough. You going to do all of these sins, but what I'm going to do is keep you leveled out. You ain't going to grow. Because they have left off to take heed to the Lord. That is what got the ten tribes in trouble, and that is when he put the ten tribes into captivity."

3.They Have Broken the Everlasting Covenant

Isaiah the twenty-fourth chapter says the same thing wider. The Lord does not have a controversy with the land, he has one with the people that inhabit it.

Isaiah 24:1-6 KJV

1Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

2And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

3The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

4The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

5The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

6Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

"Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. He going to name everybody. One thing about God, he going to get everybody in the road. Even the one that is living righteously, because you ain't all the way right. So sometimes he going to punish you as well."

"And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest. So the people ain't going to get off the hook because they following the priest. You can't just let no man stand right here and dictate the word of God to you. He might be telling you the truth, he might be lying to you, but even if he is telling you the truth, you still got to go read it for yourself."

"The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. That is why the earth is upside down. That is why you seeing murders, that is why you seeing killing, that is why you seeing what they want to call natural disasters, but we call them the Lord's disasters."

"And this is the big one. They have broken the everlasting covenant. It ain't but one covenant, and that is none other than the ten commandments. That covenant is going to still be around even when Jesus is sitting on the throne. It is going to last forever."

Isaiah 24:17 KJV

17Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

"Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth."

Then one verse in Romans that he says tells the whole story.

Romans 6:23 KJV

23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

"For the wages of sin is death. That is the reason why we got people dying in the world. Wages mean your payment. That is your payment. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That is what we going to get in the future."

4.The Soul That Sinneth, It Shall Die

Ezekiel the eighteenth chapter is the heart of the lesson. It opens by retiring a proverb, that the fathers eat sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge.

Ezekiel 18:1-4 KJV

1The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

2What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge?

3As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

4Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

"Back in the Old Testament, the children at one point in time got in trouble for the sins the father had made. But once they made that golden calf, the Lord said whosoever sinned against me, that is who is going to die."

"Behold, all souls are mine. As the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. You better hear what God is saying. Whatever soul goes against the Lord, goes against the everlasting covenant, that is the soul the Lord gonna take out."

Then the standard for the just man, and the son who does none of those duties.

Ezekiel 18:9-13 KJV

9Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

10If he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things,

11And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour’s wife,

12Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,

13Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.

"Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly, he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord God. So what is God telling you right here? If you keep my statutes and my judgments, and if you deal truly with me, he is just, he shall surely live."

"That is what you come to church to do. You come to church to be a better person. One thing you got to realize about yourself is you got to visit the dark corners in your life. We can point the finger all the time and say what everybody else is doing, but have you stopped and taken a real look in the mirror at yourself? Anytime something bad happens to me, I ask the Lord, what am I doing wrong, that I might live right before your eyes. Ask the Lord those questions and don't be ashamed about it."

"Shall he then live? Ask yourself that. Should he live? When you see people that have died and they were doing these acts that you just read about, God is asking you this question. He shall not live. He hath done all these abominations, he shall surely die, his blood shall be upon him."

And then the answer that separates every man from his father and his son, and the wicked man from the man he used to be.

Ezekiel 18:20-24 KJV

20The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

21But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

22All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

23Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

24But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Point blank, period. No matter who he is, no matter who she is, no matter how much you love him, no matter how much they love you. The only thing you can do is pray for your loved ones, but later on they going to have to make their own decisions."

"The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. I ain't going down the same rabbit hole that my father went down. I'm going to do something different. That is why you got to teach the children now, and don't overbear when you teach them. Just let them watch you."

"But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. You was wicked at one point in time in your life. We were all wicked. We were all doing things that was contrary to the everlasting covenant."

"All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him. God ain't going to bring your past up at all. You get around a friend and they will bring up your past in a minute. You ain't got to worry about that with God. The only thing he is going to remember is that you walked in his ordinances and kept his laws."

"But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, all his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned. All of that good stuff you did, all of that you gave up when you came back to the Lord, and then you let those demons come back into your house, everything you have done righteously shall not be remembered anymore. In them shall he die."

And the call itself, which he says is the main thing about being a man or a woman of God.

Ezekiel 18:30-32 KJV

30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

"Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity shall not be your ruin. You can cry all you want, but that is not godly repentance. The only way to get true repentance from God is for you to turn away from all of the sins and transgressions that you have committed. You got to stay strong through a walk that is hard, because it is not easy to have discipline over your life. But that is what a disciple is."

"Cast away from you all your transgressions, and make you a new heart and a new spirit. Wait a minute now. Who is making the new heart right here, God or you? You are. God don't do it later, you got to do it right now."

"For why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. So God don't want to kill nobody that is wicked. He don't have no pleasure in that."

5.Except Ye Repent, Ye Shall All Likewise Perish

Saint Luke the thirteenth chapter is the same message out of the Master's mouth, after a catastrophe in Jerusalem. Two of them, in fact: the Galileans Pilate killed, and the eighteen crushed by the tower in Siloam.

St. Luke 13:1-5 KJV

1There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilæans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilæans were sinners above all the Galilæans, because they suffered such things?

3I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

5I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

"During the time of Jesus' day there was a catastrophe that happened in Jerusalem, and God going to have a message for the people out of it."

"Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay, but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. And he told them the same thing about the eighteen upon whom the tower in Siloam fell. Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Then the parable of the fig tree, which he says is the Son asking the Father for one more year.

St. Luke 13:6-9 KJV

6He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

"Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none, cut it down, why cumbereth it the ground? This is the Father speaking. What God is doing is giving you time to get it right. I done been at you one year, two years, three years, and I come to find fruit on this tree and I find no fruit at all. That means you just walking around living and you not caring about what you doing for the Lord."

"Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. This is Jesus talking to the Father. He said don't cut it down yet, Lord, let's give it one more chance. And if it bear fruit, well, and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. So once Jesus can't save you no more, he got to let the Father step in."

6.He That Being Often Reproved Hardeneth His Neck

One verse out of Proverbs the twenty-ninth chapter, on the man who keeps getting corrected and keeps stiffening up.

Proverbs 29:1 KJV

1He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

"He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. God ain't going to keep slapping you on the hand. He ain't going to keep telling you don't do it, don't do it, and then you turn around and do it anyway. God gonna get you for that."

"Sin is good for a moment, but then once you find out how you treating your body and the things you doing, you ain't going to love it the way that you used to. There is no way that I can do the things I was doing when I was thirty, knowing that I'm fifty now. It got to be a change in you. That is what God want you to do. God just want you to change."

Then Proverbs the seventh chapter, where the commandments are the thing that keeps a man off the wrong road.

Proverbs 7:1-5 KJV

1My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

2Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

3Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

4Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

5That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

"My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live, and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. The first time the Lord wrote all this down on two tables of stone, but now you got to write these things upon the table of your heart."

"Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister, and call understanding thy kinswoman. He didn't say say unto wisdom thou art my friend, because a friend can come and go. But when you got a sister, when you got somebody that is kin to you, they going to be with you forever. That is what God want you to do with these commandments."

"That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. You know how many men have gotten in trouble because of women. And he always get them young, that is why we got to strengthen the children while they are young."

And where that road ends.

Proverbs 7:25-27 KJV

25Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

26For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

27Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

"Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths, for she hath cast down many wounded, yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. The only way for you not to follow after that is you got to make sure that you stay close to the Lord."

7.A Living Dog Is Better Than a Dead Lion

Ecclesiastes the ninth chapter is where he puts the hope in the lesson. As long as you are alive, you have got a chance.

Ecclesiastes 9:3-6 KJV

3This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

4For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

5For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

6Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

"For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. That is the hope. I don't really care how old you are. As long as you alive, you got hope to change. We have seen people in their older age that are changing. So as long as you are alive, you got a chance to turn back to the Lord."

"For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not any thing. Once you die, that is it, and once you wake up it is going to be the judgment. There ain't nobody that died and came back with a dead soul and they haunting houses. It don't work like that. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished."

And why none of us can count on tomorrow.

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 KJV

11I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

12For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

"The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. You might be weak, but because you strong, that don't mean you going to win the battle. For time and chance happeneth to them all."

"For man also knoweth not his time, as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. We don't know what is going to happen."

Then Ecclesiastes the seventh chapter, which he says looks at death the opposite way we do.

Ecclesiastes 7:1-4 KJV

1A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

2It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.

3Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.

4The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

"A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one's birth. We don't look at it that way, but God look at it differently."

"It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting, for that is the end of all men, and the living will lay it to his heart. Once you see somebody dead in the casket, you going to lay that to your heart, because you know one day, if you don't live to the coming of the Lord, people going to be arranging a funeral for you."

"Sorrow is better than laughter, for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. And the sorrow he is talking about is the sorrow for the world. You can't keep walking around feeling sorry for yourself all the time, because you opening a gateway for Satan to come in. Woe is me, woe is me. You got to keep moving."

8.I Kill, and I Make Alive

Deuteronomy the thirty-second chapter is the Lord saying plainly who is doing it.

Deuteronomy 32:39-41 KJV

39See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

40For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

41If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive, I wound, and I heal, neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. I done tore everything up in my body lately, but I know who caused the wound and I know who is going to heal me."

"I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. When you hate the Lord, you going to get your reward in the end. That is why God telling you we got to walk right now. The more you read this, the more you going to become a better person, because it is going to be in your heart and in your mind."

And Ezekiel the fourteenth chapter, the four sore judgments, which he ties back to the four angels bound in the Euphrates from the trumpets lesson the day before.

Ezekiel 14:21-23 KJV

21For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

22Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

23And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

"How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence. When we read about the four angels yesterday, those four angels is what causes these acts right here."

"Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant. And I want us to be that remnant. We a small remnant, but we know we doing one thing right, and that is the gospel. It is going to always be a small remnant that is going to know exactly what is going on, and we want to make sure that it is us."

"And ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord God. When God take people away, you got to realize that what he has done, he has not done without cause. I had a relative die not long ago, and everybody wanted to talk about what a good man he was. I had a different statement. I said I pray that the Lord have mercy, because I know how that man lived. I'm not going to give you a proper reward when you die if I know you wasn't living right in the word of God. Because the Lord also talks about a lying tongue. We got to tell the truth."

9.Perilous Times, and God Gave Them Up

Second Timothy the third chapter is Paul naming the days we are in.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. And those perilous times are here. For men shall be lovers of their own selves. We see that all the time. Everybody selfie-ing it out nowadays."

"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away."

2 Timothy 3:13 KJV

13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

Romans the first chapter is the same list, with the reason underneath it. He lets the book do the talking here.

Romans 1:18-23 KJV

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God hath shewed it unto them, so that they are without excuse."

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools."

Romans 1:24-32 KJV

24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

"Disobedient to parents. That is a big one nowadays. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful."

"Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. So we just let the book talk a little bit."

And Romans the second chapter turns it back on whoever is reading the list.

Romans 2:1-6 KJV

1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

3And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

6Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

"Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest, for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself, for thou that judgest doest the same things. You tell people not to do it, but then you turn around and do the same thing you telling the people not to do."

"Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Who will render to every man according to his deeds."

Romans 2:7-13 KJV

7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11For there is no respect of persons with God.

12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13( For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

"To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. That is what you going to get when you obey."

"For there is no respect of persons with God. For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. You can hear it all day long, but it is the people that do the word of God."

10.Put On the New Man, and Keep the Commandments

Colossians the third chapter shows what changes once a man turns his life over.

Colossians 3:1-4 KJV

1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

Colossians 3:5-10 KJV

5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

"Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth. Fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry."

"But now ye also put off all these, anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. I love when he say that right there. Get all that stuff out of your mouth."

"Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. And you got to be in the same image of Jesus."

And Saint Matthew the nineteenth chapter answers the question he says is the simplest one in the book.

St. Matthew 19:13-15 KJV

13Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

14But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

15And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven. The children is what is going to make the class grow. You can go get newcomers all you want, but it is through families that a class truly grows."

St. Matthew 19:16-19 KJV

16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

"Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? Pay attention to what God is saying. If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments."

"Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother, and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. That is how you get in. Everything God does for us is simple. You just got to write the laws in your heart and obey God's commandments, and you gonna wake up one day with a spiritual body, or live until the spiritual body come."

11.Draw Me Not Away With the Wicked

He closes with two Psalms. The first is the prayer not to be swept up with the men who regard not the works of the Lord.

Psalm 28:1-5 KJV

1Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

2Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

"Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock, be not silent to me, lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts."

"Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. That is what God said."

And the last one is the prayer of a man who is weak, sore vexed in his bones and in his soul, asking to be healed.

Psalm 6:1-9 KJV

1O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

3My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

4Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

6I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

7Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

8Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

"O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak, O Lord, heal me, for my bones are vexed. I'm asking the Lord, please heal me."

"My soul is also sore vexed. So not only is his body in trouble, but his soul is also sore vexed. Return, O Lord, deliver my soul, oh save me for thy mercies' sake."

"Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity, for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord hath heard my supplication, the Lord will receive my prayer."

Closing Word

"And that is death, the final warning for mankind. We hope you got some understanding in Jesus name."

Brother Obadiah's point was not that death is coming for the wicked out there somewhere. It was that every death you hear about is addressed to you, while you are still alive to do something about it. The wages of sin is death, the soul that sinneth it shall die, and God says plainly that he takes no pleasure in it. The fig tree got one more year. A living dog is better than a dead lion. As long as you are breathing, the instruction stands: repent, cast away your transgressions, make you a new heart and a new spirit, and turn yourselves and live.

Auto-captions from the recording, lightly cleaned. Verse readings and wording should be spot-checked against the video before this transcript is considered final.

Let's proceed with our Sabbath script. Let's go to Leviticus the 23rd chapter and we go we go pick it up at verse one. And for those, like I say, I always like to target the new people because it's the new people that we searching for a sense of. It's the lost sheep are the ones that we are looking for. The people who don't know nothing about the Sabbath day at all. And those are the people that we looking for. so they can understand not only do you have to love God, but you also have to do what God requires for you to do as well.

So, let's go to Leviticus the 23rd chapter, Leviticus 23, and we going to let the world know when the Lord's true and living Sabbath day is. Let's go to Leviticus 23, and we going to pick it up at verse one. Why would I say the living Sabbath? Because all God's commandments bring life, sisters and brothers. That's what God commandments does. It bring life and it also is also going to let you walk in the light once you understand the plan of God. So now let's go to Leviticus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse one.

Leviticus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse one. When you get there, my beautiful beloved elder, go ahead and read. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, [snorts] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feast of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be a holy convocation. Go ahead. Even these are my feast. So, we was just in here yesterday for the feast days, sisters and brothers, as as you know right now, we are in the second day of the first of the seventh month.

But off in this case right here, he is also going to talk about the Sabbath days. So he talked about these feast days and he also told us these are the holy convocations that God gave to us. Now so now let's show you what the requirement day of the Sabbath is. Those that are new, if you are coming into the word and you make and you got to get a job, make sure you ain't working on the Sabbath. Sometimes you might have to take a lesser living because Satan has it designed to where we cannot keep the Sabbath day because he got everybody broke and got everybody feeling that I got to take a job where I got to work on the Sabbath day.

No, you don't. Sometimes you got to live a little bit lesser when it comes to that. So now let's read that verse three. Go ahead and read. Six days shall work be done. He says six days shall work be done. Go ahead and read. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest. But this is the difference right here. He said, "But the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest," sisters and brothers. And what else is this day? Go ahead. A holy convocation. It's also a holy convocation. It's a holy gathering.

That's what the Sabbath day is. Like I tell anybody, we know we going to have it hard. We know we going to need money. But see, God understand that you need money, too. Do not let the world make you work on the Sabbath day. Because one thing Peter said is what? That we got to obey God rather than man. No matter what man say, we still got a tower line when it come to the Lord. So he said six days shall work be done. But the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest.

Go ahead and read a holy convocation. It's also a holy convocation. That means we got to gather not at your job. You [clears throat] got to gather at church. That's what a holy convocation is. So now keep reading. Go ahead. You shall do no work therein. Ye shall do no work therein. See, yesterday we was able to do a little uh survival work. I mean, not survive work, I'm sorry. We were able to do a little bit of cooking because that's what God requires on his feast. But survive work is where you got to take pay from a job.

That's what he talking about. So God don't want none of his children to do that. Why? Because the Sabbath day is a sign between God and his people. So he says, "Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation. Ye shall do no work therein." Go ahead and read. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all of your dwellings, sisters and brothers. So now let's go to St. Luke the 4th chapter.

Because we call ourselves Christians. Not only are we Hebrew Israelites, but we also call ourselves Christians because we follow Christ. You got a lot of people that say, "Well, you know, we don't want to be called no Christian or nothing like that." Why not? Christian just mean Christlike. And if you go look off in the Bible, you will see what they that they were first called Christians at Antioch. And these was the people that you reading about that followed along with Jesus for three and a half years. He the one made the decision where they was first called Christians at Antioch.

So now let's go to St. Luke the 4th chapter. St. Luke 4. We going to pick it up at verse 14. I wanted to throw a little bit for the newcomers in for the Sabbath day. Let's go to St. Luke 4. St. Luke 4 and we going to pick it up at verse 14. St. Luke 4:14. When you get there, go ahead, Elder. And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee. Go ahead. And there went out a fame of him throughout all the region round about. Go ahead.

And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. So, not only did Jesus come and die for the sins of the people, now not only did he came to deliver you from death and to also give you eternal life, Jesus also came to teach. Jesus was also a teacher. So now they said he said that he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up. And as his custom was, go ahead and read. He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Go ahead. And stood up to read. That's when he went in.

So if you going to follow Christ, you got to do the things that Christ did. He said that he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up and as his custom was, his way of life, what he did, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up for to read. We saying this for a reason because most people that are new cannot take the blinders off of the Sunday church. And you got to take it off of the Sunday church if you are going to follow the Lord and you are going to follow him in truth and in righteousness.

sisters and brothers. So also we want to give a round of applause for the brotherhood and the [applause] sisterhood. We know we did that yesterday, but we still want to say it again because not only did we have such an awesome time yesterday and blowing up the trumpets in the real Sabbath month, which is the month Ethan, we had a beautiful time and we also want to have a beautiful time today. So, also, like I said, we had an awesome time yesterday, sisters and brothers. We ate real good. We blew the trumpets up and now we back here serving the Lord again, sisters and brothers.

And you gonna find out that the older you get, the only place that you want to be at and the only place where you should be at is in church on these days. Because this what's going to grow us, sisters and brothers, if you want to understand what God requires of you, the only way that your faith is going to grow is you have to hear the word of God. And that's what's going to make your faith grow, sisters and brothers. So, we going to get right on into the lesson today.

We got a little bit of a shorter lesson, but a very very important lesson because last Sabbath I had made a mention about all of the the earthquakes that have happened. We see all of the floods and things like that that's happened, things like that that's going around. Even off in Indiana from the floods that we had, we had about seven or eight people died right there. Well, in the eyes of the Lord, one is good enough. So when you see all of the death and the destruction and the war and the famine and things like go that's going on in the land.

See all of that is going on to do one thing is to get those that are living is to get your attention. Is to get your attention. When you got death that's going on around you. You see death all in the world. See God already done took them. So now those that are alive, you know, one day you going to be in that same situation or that same condemnation as everybody else did. So what do you got to do? You got to make sure that when you alive that you paying attention to what's going on.

And you better also be praying for yourself that the Lord don't kill you. But so you got you got all these people dying in the world, but then when you look around, you got a whole lot of sin that's going on in the world, too. So when you see a lot of sin that's going on in the world, every time somebody is born, somebody else dies. Sometimes you die of natural causes, which that's what we all hoping that we die from. But then there were also situations where God bring catastrophes on the world to get the living's attention.

So the title of this lesson is death, the final warning for mankind. Death, the final warning for mankind. This your last warning world. This what God is telling you. I'm killing people around you. I'm killing people in other countries and I'm killing people also where you dwell to get your attention to let you know that you got to repent. And every day when you pray to the Lord, the mo the main thing that you have to be concentrating on is repenting for your behavior. Making sure that you are walking the straight and the narrow path.

So now he said death the final warning for mankind. So we got we have to also understand one more thing that we can fall in the exact same category as all of the other people that has died if we do not repent about it. So you got to make sure you that while you are alive that you serving God to the best of your ability that you walking with the Lord in faith that you walking with the Lord in his commandments and also that you being holy sisters and brothers see that's one that I kind of neglected for years.

We had everything else, but what's missing, God? What's missing? We got to be holy. The Lord said we a holy nation. And we ought to pray for the world once all of this death and destruction that's going on and make sure that we not in the same condemnation. But now, let's go to Hosea the 4th chapter. Let's go to Hosea 4. Hosea 4. And we going to pick it up at verse one. But anyway, let's go to Hosea the fourth chapter. Hosea 4. We gonna talk about the 10 tribes for a little bit.

You know, I got some people that remind me of the 10 tribes today. But let's talk a little bit about the 10 tribes. The 10 tribes was rich. The 10 tribes had way more money than what Judah could have ever thought about. Think about it. You got 10 tribes that was going against one. 10 tribes. So it so when you go back and look the way that the 10 tribes was living because see this who Hosea was talking about and in the days of Hosea you had the second Jeroboam that was ruling at that time and Jeroboam was the 13th king that was associated with with with the 10 tribes now and we all know what that the letters 13 and the letters 19 those are satanic numbers sisters and brothers when you go look around just go look in your Bible the 13th king was a king Jeroboam.

You got the 19th month which is in the matonic calendar. You got 19 sins with the Lord's hate. You had choleamar which is in the 13 year. What did they do? They rebelled against God. You got 13 months. And if you look at it on the back of a dollar, when you look at 13, everything that was associated with the number 13 is evil. Just pay attention to what we saying now. So we going to deal with we going to deal with the 10 tribes first because they was evil. They had a lot of money making gold and cash.

Judah was kind of broke. Anytime Judah went down, they had to go take all of the gold and the vessels out of the temple to give to the other people to keep them from killing them. But when you had 10 tribes going against one, they was wealthy. They had a lot. But what were they doing? They was all walking in sin, sisters and brothers. Keeping the feast days out of the eight month. Should sound familiar to you. But now let's go to Hosea the 4th chapter. Hosea 4. And we gonna pick it up at verse one.

Hosea 4. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. Let's show you how the Lord feel about it because he getting ready to deal with Judah now. Hosea 4 and one. When you get there, my beautiful beloved elder, go ahead and read. Hear the word of the Lord. You children of Israel. For the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. So think about it now. It is nothing changed. We going to start off with Israel. But see, God has a controversy with the people of the land.

now the inhabitants of the land. So he said, "Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel." Now he talking to the 10 tribes. He said, "For the Lord had a controversy with the inhabitants of the land." So he going to tell you why. Go ahead and read. There's no truth. He said, "Because there is no truth." Go ahead. No mercy. Go ahead. There is no knowledge of God in the land. This the reason why he got the controversy with the people, sisters and brothers. And it ain't nothing changed today.

It's nothing that has changed. He got a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there's no truth no more. There's no mercy from the people. There's no forgiveness from the people. He said, "No acknowledge God in the land." So now verse two, go ahead. By swearing and lying and killing and stealing and committing adultery. Go ahead. They break out. Go ahead. And blood touches blood. You hear why God got a controversy? Yes. We got a lot of things that's going on in the land, but we got a whole lot of swearing going on.

I swear on my mama ain't do this. I swear on this. I swear on God. It's a whole lot of swearing and a whole lot of lying going on in the land. A whole lot of killing and stealing and a whole lot of committing adultery. That's what's going on in the world right now. So what do you think going to happen? You think God is not going to invisit or visit the world when they walking in sin the way that they are? So now what did he say at verse three?

Go ahead. Therefore shall the land mourn. He said, "Therefore shall the land mourn." Go ahead. And everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish. And everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish. Sisters and brothers, they going to languish because of it. Languish means to put in a bad situation or a bad plan of mind when you are walking in language. And language, sisters and brothers. So now keep reading. Go ahead and read. with the beast of the field and with the fowl of the heavens. Yay, the fish of the sea also shall be taken away.

Go ahead. Yet let no man strive nor reprove another. So now he said when all of this stuff is going on, he said, "Yet let yet let no man strive nor reprove another." Go ahead and read. For their people are as they that strive with the priest. The priest just get it all the time. The priest of God get it all the time. I remember a long time ago that Elijah used to tell the teachers don't even do questions and answers cuz that was a time for the for the congregation to attack the priests all the time.

So now he said he said yet let no man strive nor reprove another. He said for thy people are as they that even strive with the priest. So now what else going to happen? Verse five, go ahead. Therefore shall thou fall in that day and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night. Go ahead. and I will destroy thy mother. So notice what he said. He said, "Thou shalt fall in the day." He said, "The prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother." We know who the mother is.

The mother is Jerusalem. So I'm going to tear Jerusalem down. He said, "And I will destroy thy mother." So now, let's show you why we as a people are destroyed. Verse six, go ahead. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. That's why we are being destroyed, sisters and brothers. He said, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." We don't have no knowledge when it come to the word of God. And if you go back up and read at verse one, he said he got a controversy with the people of the land because there is no knowledge of God in the land at all.

Nobody understands how he operates. Nobody understands the operation of God's hands. So therefore, that's why people are dying because they have no knowledge. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Because thou have rejected knowledge. Because thou has rejected knowledge. You could have got the knowledge, but what did you do? You rejected the the knowledge. Go ahead and read. I will also reject thee, thou shalt be no priest to me. Since thou forgot the law thy God. Go ahead. I will also forget thy children. He says, since thou has forgotten the law of thy God, he said, I will also forget thy children, sisters and brothers.

And he not lying about that. You got a generation of kids, the parents can't tell them nothing no more. You got the youth raising the youth. The youth, hey man, don't worry about this. Don't do this. Don't do that. So you got the youth banding together and they trying to raise one another and trying to get from under the umbrella of their parents because their parents are going to teach them right. But they trying to get away from their parents. And that's a curse from God, sisters and brothers. And you read about it because he said, "I will also forgive thy children." So now verse seven, go ahead and read.

as they were increased. So this is a bit where he said, "And as they were increased." Go ahead and read. So they sinned against me. So they sinned against me, the more God blessed them, the more money they got, the more money they made, that's what turned them away from the Lord. He says, "For he said as they the more they increase, so they sinned against me." So now what else going to happen? Go ahead. Therefore, I will change their glory into shame. They eat up the sins of my people and they set their heart on their iniquity.

They set their heart on their iniquity. Go ahead and read. And they shall be like people, like priests. I will punish them for their ways. Go ahead. And reward them for their doing. And I'm also going to reward them for they do. Sisters and brothers, you going to get a reward, but the reward you ain't that you going to get is not the reward you going to be looking for in the end. You think you going to make it and get eternal life and you going to dwell around with the Lord, but your reward going to be in the lake of fire if you don't change your ways.

So now keep reading. Go ahead. Verse 10. Go ahead. But they shall eat. Go ahead. And not have enough. He said they shall eat and not have enough. You just don't have just enough to eat. He said they shall eat and not have enough. Go ahead and read. They shall commit hoorde. He said they shall commit whoredom. Go ahead. They shall not increase. But they ain't going to increase. You going to do all of these sins, but where what I'm going to keep you is leveled out. You ain't going to grow and you I might that I might keep you from diminishing a little bit.

Now, he said, "And they and there shall be like people like priests and I will punish them for their ways and reward them for their doings." So now verse 10, go ahead. For they shall eat, go ahead. And not have enough. Go ahead. They shall commit order and shall not increase. Go ahead. because they have left off to take heed to the Lord. They have left off to take heed to the Lord, sisters and brothers. So this what got the 10 tribes in trouble and around 7:22 BC that is when he put the 10 tribes into captivity.

He removed the whale out of the land because of all of the things they was doing. But just keep in mind the 10 tribes had it made. They put two big golden calves, one in Bethl and took the other one and even put it in Dame. So they was always partying hard and they thought they were serving the Lord, but they wasn't. They were serving Bael, sisters and brothers. But now let's go to Isaiah the 24th chapter now. Let's go to Isaiah 24. Isaiah 24. And we going to pick it up at verse one because he just read where the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land.

So he don't have a controversy with the land. He got a controversy with the people that inhabited the land. That's where the problem is coming for. So now let's go to Isaiah the 24th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse one. Isaiah 24 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Isaiah 24 and1. When you get there, go ahead and read. Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty. Go ahead. And make it waste. Go ahead. And turneth it upside down. He going to like that upside down cake we had yesterday.

That was real good, Elder. That's what we going That's what the Lord said he going to do to the earth. He said, "Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty and maketh it waste." He said, "And turneth it upside down." And what else is he going to do? Go ahead. Scatter abroad the inhabitants thereof. But he is going to scatter abroad the inhabitants thereof. So he going to name everybody. You see one thing about God, he going to get everybody in the road. Even the one that's living righteously because you ain't all the way right.

So sometimes he going to punish you as well. So I'mma get everybody. So now what did he say at verse two? Go ahead. And it shall be. Go ahead. As with the people. So with the priest. So now the people ain't going to get off the hook because they following the priest. So that's how you know. You can't just let no man stand right here and dictate the word of God to you. He might be telling you the truth. He might be lying to you, but even if he is telling you the truth, you still got to go read it for yourself to make sure that what you know is right.

See, one thing we got to understand, we go by what other people taught and this like that. But you got to ask, what does it mean to you? What does that mean to you? So, you got to read it for yourself. So, now he said that it shall be as with the people, so with the priest. Go ahead and read. As with the servant. Go ahead. So with his master, as with the maid, so with her mistress, as with the buyer, so with the seller, as with the lender, so with the borrower.

Go ahead. As the taker of usery, so with the giver of usery to him. Go ahead. The land shall be utterly empty and utterly spoiled. Go ahead. For the Lord has spoken this word. So he ain't going to let he's not going to let the inhabitants of the land off, sisters and brothers. He said the land shall be utterly emptied and utterly spoiled. Now he said for the Lord has spoken this word. Once again we read about the 10 tribes because even though Isaiah had also talked about the coming of the Lord, it was the prophet Isaiah that was also around at the time when the 10 tribes was ruling.

Now so once again you reading about the destruction of the 10 tribes. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Verse four. Go ahead. The earth mourn and fade away. Go ahead. The world laugh and fade away. Go ahead. The hearted people of the earth do language. He said the hearted people of the earth do language. The lifted up people. He said even they going to languish. So now verse five, go ahead. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof. That's the reason why the earth is defiled, sisters and brothers, because the people that live in the land, you got sodommites in the land where they don't supposed to be around.

You got people that's following witchcraft in the world that don't supposed to be around, but they still give. And these people are even protected by the laws of the land through the first amendment of the constitution. They are protected by that. So now, but they didn't supposed to live back in the days of the Lord. So he said the earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof. So now, why is the earth defiled? Go ahead and read. Because they have transgressed the laws. They have transgressed the laws of God. That's the reason why the earth is upside down.

That's why you seeing murders. That's why you seeing killing. That's why you seeing what they want to call natural disasters, but we call them the Lord's disasters, sisters and brothers. Cuz we going to read a little bit about these four sword judgments today. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Changed the ordinance. They has also changed the ordinances, sisters and brothers. And this is the big one. Go ahead and read. Break broken the everlasting covenant. And they have broken the everlasting covenant. See, it ain't but one covenant. Oh Lord, it ain't but one.

And that's none other than the ten commandments, sisters and brothers. And that's the everlasting covenant. That covenant is going to still be around even when Jesus is sitting on the throne. That's that covenant is still going to be here and it's going to last forever. So now let's skip down. Let's skip down to verse nine. Skip down to verse nine and go ahead and read. They shall not drink wine with a song. Go ahead. Strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. The city of confusion is broken down.

Notice what he called. He called. He called. He said the city of confusion is broken down. Go ahead. Every house is shut up. Go ahead. That no man may come. No, he ain't coming in right here, partner. We don't know. It's like you you all y'all watch them zombie movies when the whole city done became zombies and you got some people that's not zombies. They knocking at the door. They ain't open it too quick because we don't know who you are. You might be infected with something. You might be one of them little devils running around here.

But now keep reading. Go ahead. You know if you really I'm I'm gonna slide this in. When you see those zombie movies like that, the people that are alive in the movies, those people represent uh uh the mysteries, your your your Illuminati kind of people. And everybody else that are zombies, they are the rest of the world. That's what they think of us. They call us the sheeper. We the sheeple because we just follow along with the systems or whatever they go or whatever they throw out there. But now that's that's that's keep reading.

Go ahead. I want to slide that in there. Keep reading. Go ahead. 12. Go ahead. And the city is left desolate and the gate is smitten with destruction. When this is shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the spanking the shaking of olive tree and as the gleaming greatness with the vintage is done. Go ahead. They shall lift up their voice and they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord. Go ahead. They shall cry out loud from the sea. They going to cry out loud from the sea.

But that's going to happen. That's going to happen later on, sisters and brothers. But now, I'm sorry. I I meant I meant for you to read that verse 11, but go ahead. Skip down to verse 17. Read that verse 17 now. Go ahead. The pit and the snare are upon you. Upon you, oh inhabitants of the earth. He said, "Fear and the pit and the snare are upon thee, oh inhabitants of the land." So now let's go to Romans the 6th chapter. Let's go to Romans 6. Now Romans 6. We only going to read one verse right here.

Let's go to Romans 6. Romans 6 and we gonna read verse 23. Romans 6 and we gonna read verse 23. That's the reason why the world is in trouble. So what is God doing at this time? He's killing some people, sisters and brothers. We got people dropping like flies in war all over the world. And the reason why is because of all of the sin that's going on in the world. But let's go now to Romans 6 and we going to pick it up at verse 23. Romans 6 and we going to pick it up at verse 23.

And this going to tell the whole story right here. Romans 6 and pick it up at verse 23. 6 and 23. When you get there, go ahead, elder. For the wages of sin is death. He said, "For the wages of sin is death, sisters and brothers." That's the reason why we got people dying in the world. He said, "For the wages of sin is death." That's your payment. Wages mean your payment now. For the wages of sin is death. Go ahead and read. But the gift of life is of God is eternal life.

But the gift of he said, "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Sisters and brothers, that's what we going to get in the future. We going to get eternal life. But now let's go to Ezekiel the 18th chapter. Now Ezekiel 18 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Ezekiel 18 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Let's show you what Ezekiel had to say about it. Ezekiel 18 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Ezekiel 18 and1.

When you get there, Elder, go ahead on and read. The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, Go ahead. What mean ye that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, "The fathers have eaten s." Go ahead. And the children teeth are set on edge. So we going to read about, he said, he said, "What mean you that you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel?" He said, "The fathers have eaten the sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge." So back when you go back and look in the Old Testament, the children at one point in time got in trouble for what the what for for for what sins the father had made.

They got in trouble with it. But then once they made that golden calf, the Lord said, "Whosoever sinned against me, that's who is going to die." So now pick it up at verse three. Go ahead. as I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion anymore to use this proverb in Israel. So you see what the Lord said, you ain't going to be able to use this occasion anymore. You ain't going to be able to say these things. He said, as I live, sayeth the Lord God, ye shall not have any occasion anymore to use this proverb in Israel.

I'm going to get rid of that. So now, what did he say at verse four? Go ahead and read. Behold, go ahead. All saints are mine. He said all souls are mine. All souls are mine. Go ahead and read. As the souls of the father as also the souls of the sons is mine. Go ahead. The soul that s it shall die. You better hear what God is saying, sisters and brothers. He said all souls are mine. He said as the soul of the father so also is the soul of the son is mine.

But he said the soul that sent it shall die. Whatever soul that go against the Lord that go against the everlasting covenant, that's the soul that the Lord gonna take out. So now, but notice what he said in verse five. Go ahead and read. But if a man be just, go ahead and do that which is lawful and right. But now, if a man be just and he does that which he which is lawful and right. But we ain't going to read all of this. Let's skip down to verse nine.

Let's read a little bit of it. He said, he said in verse five, "But if a man be just and do that which is lawful and right," skip down to verse nine. Let's show you how to be just and lawful and right. Verse nine, go ahead. Have walked in my statutes and have kept my judgments to deal truly. Go ahead. He is just. He is just. Go ahead. He shall surely live, sayeth the Lord God. So that what so what so what is God telling you right here? If you keep my statutes and my judgments, and if you deal truly with me, he said, "He is just, he shall surely live, sayeth the Lord." So when you come to church, this is what you come to church to do.

You come to church to be a better person. Not only to get eternal life, but just look at how you walk there. See, one thing you got to realize about yourself is you got to visit the dark corners in your life. Whatever dark corners that you got to deal with, you got to face them one day. We can point the finger and say all the time what everybody else is doing and we walking in the commandments, but have you stopped and take a real look in the mirror at yourself, what you doing?

Anytime something bad happens to me, I asked the Lord, what am I doing wrong that I might live right before your eyes? You done told my knee up that six months later get to up again and then got my shoulder. So what are you contending with me about? Ask the Lord those questions and don't be shamed about it. face whatever you got to face in the mirror so God can take them dogs off of you and that way you can live justly and just before the Lord. So now keep reading.

Go ahead. Verse 10. If you've got a son that is a robber, a sheriff of blood and doth the light to anyone of these things. So notice what if you if you got a son, you got a lot of mothers like this. They be crying and having visuals once the child died, but they knew that. They knew that son was out there robbing people. They knew how that child was acting before he died. We ain't saying every child is acting like that. But when you look at our teenagers that's in the world now, you got these sons and they out here, they sheders of blood and they robbing people all the time.

He said, "If he begott a son that is a robber, a shedter of blood, and doeth the doeth alike to any one of these things," verse 11, go ahead. "And doeth not any of those duties," and doeth not any of those duties. Now, the duties that we just read about, what it takes for you to be lawful and right and just, he said, he that doeth not any of those duties, but now what? What has he done? Go ahead. But he that have eaten up the mountain, go ahead. and defiles his neighbor's wife.

You know how many women how many men out here defiling their neighbors wives now? You know how many so-called uh uh what they what that woman that was uh the Will uh the Will Smith woman what they call the entanglements. You know how many entanglements are going on in the world right now? It's a whole lot of them. And don't nobody and y'all just as the Lord is my witness. Before we came to class yesterday, I had to stop and get a bag of ice. So, I'm getting I'm getting the ice now.

And the the the it was a man and his girlfriend was standing in line. So, it was another tall nicel looking guy walked in. He had his back turned. She was all in his face trying to and then touched his hand as he walked by and I'm standing right here looking at this woman like what is going on? He buying the food and everything and then she flirting with him while her man is behind her back. So he she walked back to the car. She walked back to the car. The guy got in.

She was trying to steal. Give me your number. Give me. And when she came out, she walked over there and Elvis seen it. Went right over there and start pumping her gas again like she ain't did nothing. You know how many women are doing that to their men in the world? Or how many men doing that? Go out here and be with every woman on the planet and then come back home and kiss their wife dead in the mouth like they ain't did nothing wrong. I love you. You better understand who watching though.

See the Lord is watching all of that. But then he said, he said, "And doeth any one of those duties, but have even uh eat upon the mountains and defiled his neighbor's wife." So now, what else did these people do? Verse 12, go ahead. Have oppressed the poor and the needy, that has spoiled by violence. Go ahead. Have not restored the pledge. They have not restored the pledge. Go ahead. And have lifted up his eyes to the idol. Go ahead. have committed abominations, have given forth upon usery, and have taken increase, shall he then live?

Ask yourself that, should he live? So when you see people that's died and they doing these acts, what you read about, God is asking you this question. Now, he said he have given forth upon usery. He said also, he said also have taken his increase. He said, shall he then live? So what did God say? Go ahead. shall not live. He shall not live. He shall not live. Go ahead. He shall He have done all this abomination. Go ahead. He shall surely die. He shall surely die. So if you have done all of these abominations what we have just read about, God said he shall surely die.

Sisters and brothers, the Lord said it. Go ahead and read. His blood shall be upon him. His blood shall be upon him. That means that you going to die in blood. That's why he said his blood shall be upon him. But now let's skip down to verse 20. Let's skip down to verse 20. Go ahead and read. The soul descend. Go ahead. It shall die. It's it's point blanket. Period. No matter who he is, no matter who she is, no matter how much you love him, no matter how much they love you, he said the soul that said it, it shall die, sisters and brothers.

So God has given it to you point blank and period. The only thing you can do is pray for your loved ones. But later on, they going to be h have they gonna have to make their own decisions. That's why I was so careful with my son. I didn't just throw the word at him. Throw the word at him. Throw the word at him. You watch the example at home. So once they get around that tender age of 16 because between the ages of 16, right at 19, before they turn 20, that's when you going to find out what that child going to be about.

Because 19 is right before they turn 20. And when they turn 20, they going to be on their own at that time. They sins ain't going to fall on you no more. It's going to fall on them. That's why you got to teach the children now. And don't overbear when you teach them. Just let them watch you. Let them do it. Are they Are is he loving his wife? Okay. I saw my dad doing it and one day I'mma do it. One day I saw my father doing this. I ain't going to do it either.

I saw my father didn't eat no pork, so I ain't going to weed none either because my father didn't teach me to do that. And Lord and behold, don't come in here and be and and you got we even got some children that are gay out here now. We even got to deal with that. You know how many son uh fathers threw the ball around with their sons when they were young, but then when they get in the 12th grade, he son putting his dress on because he want to go to go to the prom dressed as a woman.

You know how many fathers got to deal with that? You know how hurtful that is to see your son and he [laughter] go ahead and read I tell my son please listen man I can deal with anything don't come here say man I love a man don't come here saying but now he said he said he said the soul that sent it shall die but now uh go ahead verse 20 go ahead the son shall not bear the iniquity of his father the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father I ain't going down away from the same rabbit hole that my father went down.

I'mma do something different. I knew what the men in my family taught me to do. The men in my family taught me to sew your royal oats. Go out. Don't settle down. Get as many women as you can and don't and get married when you get older. Then you will be ready. If you Hey, you need to be ready to get married. Now, if you sleeping with that woman, so now keep reading, Elder, go ahead. In the middle of 20, go ahead. Neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son.

Go ahead. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him. Go ahead. And the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. So if you going to be righteous, Revelations tell you what? To be righteous still. And he that is wicked, let him be wicked still. See, I give people two chances. After two chances at it, because that's what we do in the book. That's what the Bible teaches. He said, "A one one or two admonitions correct the brother. After that, you got to leave them alone cuz anything else you casting your pearl before swine." So now keep reading.

Go ahead. 41. Go ahead. But if the wicked will turn away from all his sins that he have committed, go ahead. And keep all the statutes and do that which is lawful and right. Go ahead. He shall surely live. Go ahead. He shall not die. So you heard what God telling you. If God want the wicked to turn, you was wicked at one point in time in your life. We were all wicked. We were all doing things that was contrary to the everlasting covenant. All of us were. So not only he said, "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he had committed and keep all my statutes and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live.

He shall not die." Sisters and brothers, verse 22, go ahead. All his transgressions that he have committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him. Go ahead. In his righteousness that he hath done. Go ahead. He shall live. He shall live. So you ain't got to get before the Lord and you get you'll get around a friend. a friend to bring up your past in a minute and you'll be like, "Uh, stop. Uh, we ain't going to go there." So, you ain't got to worry about that with God. God ain't going to bring your past up at all.

He ain't going to remember nothing that you have done. The only thing he is going to remember is that you walked in his ordinances and kept his laws. That's what God is looking at. So now, let's show you how God feel about if the wicked die. Verse 23. Go ahead. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? Go ahead. saith the Lord God, and not that he shall return from his ways and live. Go ahead. But when the righteous turn away from his righteousness, he said, but when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, now go ahead and read.

And commit iniquity, and he commit iniquity, go ahead. And doth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, go ahead. He shall live. He said, he said, "Shall he live? Shall he live? Shall he live?" So now, what? So what did God say about it? Go ahead. All his righteousness that he had done, go ahead, shall not be missed. All of that good stuff you did, all of that stuff that you did that you gave up that you came back to the Lord for and then all of a sudden you forgot about it and you let those demons come back into your tabernacle or back into your house.

Everything that you have done righteously shall not be remembered anymore. That's what that means. You going to die in your sin. So what did God say about it? Go ahead. All his righteousness that he have done shall not be mentioned. Go ahead. And his trespass that he have trespassed [snorts] and his sins that he shall have sinned. Go ahead. In them shall he die. In them shall he die. And shall he die. So God is telling you point blank how he feels about the situation. That's why you want to be what?

You want to be like what Paul said in Hebrews the 10th chapter. You don't want to be like those that draw back into predition. But believe to the saving of the soul. Sisters and brothers, you got to believe and have the faith unto the saving of the soul. So now, uh, let's skip down to verse 30. Skip down to verse 30 and go ahead and read. Therefore, what I will judge you, oh house of Israel, go ahead. Everyone according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Go ahead. Repent. This is the main thing as being a man or a woman of God.

He said, repent. Go ahead and read. Turn yourselves from all your transgressions. But you got to turn yourselves from all of your transgressions. You got to turn from it. But I notice one thing. The when I cry, I cry because of things that's going on in the world. You can't keep crying all the time about you because that's not godly repentance. You can cry all you want. The only way to get true repentance from God is for you to turn away from all of the sins and transgressions that you have committed.

And the only way to do that sometime is to not cry about it. You got to stay strong. You got to stay strong through a walk that's so hard because it's not easy to do this. It's not easy to hold on and to have discipline over your life. But that's what a disciple is. So now God said, "Repent and turn yourselves from all your transgressions." Go ahead and read. So iniquity shall not be your ruin. So iniquity shall not be your ruin, sisters and brothers. So now verse 31, go ahead.

Cast away from you. Cast away from you all your transgressions. Yes, sir. Whereby ye have transgressed and take you a new heart? He said, and make you a new heart. Make you a new heart. Go ahead. And a new spirit. So wait a minute now. Who's making up new heart right here? God or you? You. You are. You got to write them in your You got to do it. God don't do it later, but you got to do it right now. He said, "Cast away from you all your transgresses, whereby you have transgressed, and make you a new heart and a new spirit." Go ahead and read.

For why would ye why will ye die, oh house of Israel? Go ahead. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that died. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that died. Go ahead and read. Say the Lord God. Go ahead. Wherefore turn yourselves and live ye. Therefore, turn yourselves and live. Sisters and brothers, you got to turn yourself and live. So God don't want to kill nobody that's wicked. Believe it or not, the Lord he wouldn't have killed Adolf Hitler had he had he repented from all of his ways.

But being the fact that you don't repent from it, God don't have to kill you or he don't have no pleasure in that. So now let's go to St. Luke the 13th chapter. Now let's go to St. Luke 13 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. St. Luke 13 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. We read this not too long ago, but let's go back and read it again because during the time of Jesus' day, there was a catastrophe that happened on me that happened in Jerusalem.

But see, God going to have a message for the people. Now, so now let's go to St. Luke 13 and we are going to pick it up at verse one. These was the Galileans. St. Luke 13 and we are going to pick it up at verse one. St. Luke 13 and1. So now when you get there round, go ahead and read. There were present at that season some that told him of the Galileans. Go ahead. Whose blood Pilot had mingled with their sacrifice. So now whose blood pilot had that mingle with their sacrifices?

So they was making some sacrifices, but Pilate was killing them. So he said Pilot, he said whose blood pilot had mixed with their sacrifices. So now verse two, go ahead. Because Pilate wasn't playing around. That's why they sent Jesus the body and the killer. But now verse two, go ahead. And Jesus answering said unto him, go ahead. Suppose ye that the Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans. Go ahead. Because they suffer so much things. Because they suffer so much things now. So he says, "Suppose ye that those Galileans which were sinners now above all the other Galileans because they suffer such things because they must had a bad thing that happened to them." But now let's pick it up at verse three.

Verse three and go ahead and read. I tell you nay. He said, "I tell you nay," go ahead. But except ye repent. He said, "But except ye repent," go ahead. Ye shall all likewise perish. Ye shall all likewise perish, sisters and brothers, if you do not repent. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Are these 18 upon the whom the the tower of shalom fell and slew them? Then you that were sinners above all the men that dwelleth in Jerusalem. Go ahead. Tell you. He said, I tell you n Go ahead.

But except ye repent. He said, but except you repent, go ahead. Ye shall all likewise perish. So now he told them the same thing. He said, "But except you and repent," he said, "You shall all likewise perish, sisters and brothers." But now pick it up at verse two of verse six and go ahead. He spake also this parable. A certain man had a fig tree planted in the vineyard and he came and saw fruit there on. Go ahead. And found none. This is another parable that Jesus gave, sisters and brothers, that's very important.

So this is the parable of the fig tree. We read it a lot, but let's make some sense out of it. He said he spake also this parable. He said, "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard." Go ahead. And he came and and saw fruit thereon and found none. But now verse seven, go ahead. Then said he upon unto the dresser of the vine. Go ahead. Behold, these three years I've come seeking fruit upon this fig tree, and found none. Go ahead. Cut it down. Why cumberly it the ground?

He said, "Why cumber cometh it the ground?" Now he said, he said unto the dresser of the vineyard, "Behold, these three years I came seeking fruit on this fig tree and found none." He said, "Cut it down. Why come it to the ground? Why leave it standing?" This was the father speaking out because see what God is doing is giving you time to get it right. But I done been at you one year, two year, three years, and I come to find fruit on this tree, but I find no fruit on this tree at all.

That means you just walking around living and you not caring about what you doing for the Lord. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And he answered answering him, saying unto him, go ahead, Lord, let it alone this year also till I shall dig about it and d it. Till I shall dig about it and d it. Now, so this is Jesus talking to the father. He said, "Don't cut it down yet, Lord." He said, "Let's give it one more chance now. Let's give it one more chance." Go ahead and read.

And if it bear fruit, well, he said, "But if it bear fruit, well, go ahead." And if not, then after that, thou shalt cut it down. So once Jesus can't save you no more, he can't save you no more. He got to let the father step in now. He got to let the father do what he said because Jesus said we gonna give him one more year. So obviously he came back again and it was no fruit that was on this tree. So he said and if it bear fruit well and if not then after that thou shalt cut it down.

So now verse 10 go ahead and read. And he was teaching in one of the s synagogues on the Sabbath day. So we kind of threw that in for a little flavor. Sisters and brothers. Jesus was teaching in the synagogue on the Sabbath day not on the first day of the week. So now we got to make sure that the people understand that. So now let's go to Proverbs 29. Proverbs 29. And we going to read one verse right here. Let's go to Proverbs 29. And we going to pick it up at verse one.

And you going to see this again. God is not going to keep correcting you. You either going to change and do right or you going to stay in the same misery that you are. you going to die in because one thing we think sin sin is good for a moment but then once you find out how you treating your body and the things you doing you ain't going to love it the way that you used to sisters and brothers there is no way that I can do the things that I was doing when I was 30 years old knowing that I'm 50 now it's got it got to be a change in you sisters and brothers and that's what God want you to do God just want you to change but now let's go to Proverbs 29 Proverbs 29 and we going to Read one verse right here.

Proverbs 29 and we are going to pick it up at verse one. Proverbs 29 and1. Go ahead and read. He that been often reproved harden his neck. He said, "He that been often reproved harden his neck." That's you stiff neck. You like you almost like you your whole body just arthritis down. You just stiff. He said he that being off the reprove harden his neck. What's going to happen to him? Go ahead. sudden shall suddenly be destroyed. Go ahead. And without remedy. He said and that without remedy. He said he that being author reprove harden his neck shall suddenly be destroyed.

And that without remedy, sisters and brothers, God ain't going to keep slapping you on the hand. He ain't going to keep telling you don't do it. Don't do it. But then you turn around and you do it anyway. That's what's going that God gonna get you for that. So now let's go back to Proverbs the seventh chapter. Now, Proverbs 7 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Proverbs 7 and we going to pick it up at verse one. We ain't going to deal with too much of a hard lesson today.

We did all that yesterday. But these are the lessons that we need to get right, sisters and brothers. It's good to know about the trumpets and when they going to be blown and stuff like that. But one thing I had to learn to be was a better person. And there's nothing wrong with being a better person. You used to fornicate. You don't fornicate no more. You used to lie. You don't lie no more. Everything is right within you. That's the way you want to be with with with God. So now, let's go to Proverbs 7.

Proverbs 7. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Let's go to Proverbs 7 now. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Proverbs 7 and1. Let's show you what God talked about with the commandments. Sisters and brothers. Proverbs 7 and1. Go ahead and read. My son, go ahead. keep my words and lay up my commandments with thee. He said, notice what he said. He said, my son, keep my words and lay up my commandments with thee. Now, so now I I I told you this verse ver verse three.

Go ahead. Keep my commandments and live. Go ahead. And my law as the apple of thy eye. Go ahead. Bind up the upon thy fingers. He said, bind them upon thy fingers. Go ahead. Write them upon the table of thy heart. So now once again now he said bow them upon thy fingers and you got to write them upon the tables of your heart. The first time the Lord wrote all this stuff down on two tables of stone but now you got to write these things upon the table of your heart.

So now verse four go ahead and read say unto wisdom say unto wisdom go ahead that art my sister go ahead and call understanding like kinsmen. So what he So what so so why is God saying this now? You can't. He said, he didn't say, "Say unto wisdom, thou art my friend, and call understanding thy kinsw woman." Because a friend can come and go. But when you got a sister or when you got somebody that's kin to you, they going to be with you forever. And you got, you know, these people more, you got to love them.

But that's what God want you to do with these commandments, sisters and brothers. Say unto wisdom, "Thou art my sister, and call understanding thy kinswoman." Verse five, go ahead. That they may keep thee from the strange woman. He said that they may keep thee from the strange woman. Now go ahead and read. From the stranger which flatter with her her words. And from the stranger which flatterth with her words. You know how many men that has gotten in trouble because of women. You know how many adulterous women, strange women have taken men down to the ground.

So now keep reading. Go ahead. that they may keep the from the strange woman from the strange woman which flattered with her words. For at the window of my house, I look through my pacement and beheld among the simple ones. He said he and he said and beheld among the but he he said beheld among the simple ones. Go ahead and read. I concern among the youth a young man boy of understanding. And he always get them young sisters and brothers. That's why we got to strengthen the children while they are young.

So at this point in time, he said, "I beheld among the simple ones and discerned among the youth." He said, "A young man void of understanding." Verse eight, go ahead. Passing through the streets near her corner, and he went the way up to her house in the twilight, in the evening, and in the black and dark night. And behold, there met him A woman with a tower of a harlot and ship tail of heart. Go ahead. She is loud and stubborn. She is loud and stubborn. Go ahead. Her feet abide not in her house.

Oh, cut cut that down a little bit, Ella. He said he said in the He said passing through the streets near her corner and he went into her house. Keep reading. Go ahead. Not as if she's without. He said go ahead. Now she is without. now in the streets life in weight at every corner. So, so she caught him and kissed him and within in hurting faith she said unto him, I have peace offerings with me. This day that I pray, I pay my vow. Go ahead. Therefore, can came can I forth to meet thee, diligent to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

Go ahead. I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry with covered with carved works with fine linen of Egypt. Go ahead. I have perfumed my bed with my alo and sentiment. Come let us take our field of love until the morning. Go ahead. Let us solace ourselves with love. So now he said come let us take our field of love until the morning. Now let us solace ourselves. Let us solace ourselves with love. So now notice what she said at verse 19. Go ahead. For the good man is not at home.

He said, for the good man is not at home. Go ahead. He has gone on a long journey. He has gone on a long journey. Go ahead. He have taken a bag of money with him and will come home at the damn point. With her with with her much fair speech she calls him to yield. Wow. With the flattering of her lips, she forced him. She goth after him straight way as a ox go to the swab or as a fool to the correction of the stop. Go ahead. Till a dark strike through his liver, as a bird hastened to the snare, and knoweth not that he knoweth not that it is his it is for his life.

Go. Verse 24. Go ahead. Hearken unto me now therefore, oh you children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Go ahead. Let my heart decline, No. Let not let let not thy heart decline to her ways. Not straightway to her path. Start it over. Verse 25. Go ahead. Let not thy heart decline to her ways. Not straight as straight to her path. Go ahead. For she had cast down many wounds. She had cast down many wounded. Go ahead. Yay. Many strong men have been slain by her. Go ahead. Her house is the way to hell.

Going down to the chambers of death. That's what the adulterous woman is, sisters and brothers. So he don't want you to follow after that. So the only way for you not to follow after the prostitutes and women of the night or for that matter, you got to make sure that you stay close to the Lord. out. So in verse 27, he said, "A house is the way to hell going down to the chambers of death." So now let's go to Ecclesiastics the 9th chapter. Now let's go to Ecclesiastics 9 and we going to pick it up at verse three.

Ecclesiastics 9 and we going to pick it up at verse three. Let's show you what the Lord got to say here, sisters and brothers. Ecclesiastics 9 and we are going to pick it up at verse three. We going to talk a little bit about death now and we going to talk about the righteous and we going to also talk about the living. So now let's go to Ecclesiastics 9 and we going to pick it up at verse three. Ecclesiastics 9 and three. When you get there, go ahead and read. This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun.

That there is one event to all unto all. Yeah. Also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil. That's what it is. Now he said this is an evil among all things that are done under the sun that there is one event unto all. Now go ahead and read and the madness is in their heart while they live. Go ahead. And after that they go to the dead. So that's what happened to you when you die sisters and brothers. But now he said this is an evil among all things that are done under the sun that there is one event unto all.

Yay. Also, the hearts of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. But now, keep reading. Go ahead. But to him that is joined to all the living there is hope. See, that's why that's the hope, sisters and brothers. That's why I don't really care how old you are. That's why we love Haden Hall so much. It's a whole lot of old people that's in Haden Hall. But see, he said, "For him that is joined to all the living, there is hope." Keep reading.

your head. For a living dog is better than a dead lion. For a living dog is better than a dead lion, sisters and brothers. As long as you alive, you got to realize you got hope to change. And we have seen people that's in their older age. That's changing, sisters and brothers. So as long as you are alive, then you got a chance to turn back to the Lord. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Verse five. Go ahead. For the living know that they shall die. See, that's what we know.

He said, "For the living know that they shall die." Go ahead and read. "But the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward. For the memory of them is forgotten." Go ahead. Also, their love and their hatred, and their envy is now perish. So now you ain't got no dead people in your family that done came back to a life, and they hung you. Now, we done all heard stories like that before. So once you die, that is it. And once you wake up, it's going to be the judgment.

So there ain't nobody that's died and they came back with a with a with a dead soul and they hunt people in hunt houses. It don't work like that sisters and brothers. He said in verse six, he said also their love and their hatred and their envy is now perished. So now keep reading now. Go ahead. Have any more ports forever in anything that is done under the sun. Anything that's done under the sun. So now skip down to verse 11. Verse 11 and go ahead. I returned and saw under the sun.

So I want everybody to pay attention to what we getting ready to read right here. He said, I returned and saw under the sun. Go ahead and read. That the race is not to the swift. The race is not to the swift. Go ahead and read. No, the battle to the strong. Nor the battle to the strong. You might be weak, but see in the end because you strong that don't mean you going to win the battle because you're strong. And he gonna tell you why. Go ahead. Neither yet bread to the wise, nor riches to the men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill.

Go ahead. For time and chance happen to them all. For men also knoweth not this time, as the fish that are taken in an evil net, as the birds that are caught in the snare. Go ahead. So are the sons of men snared in an evil time. Go ahead. when it fall suddenly upon them. When it fall suddenly upon them, sisters and brothers, you think the guy that played off in the fire heartbeat, you think he would have woke up today and would have known that he would have died. He but he dead.

See, we don't know what's going to happen. So he said, he said, "For man also knoweth not his time as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, so are the sons of men snared in an evil time." Now, when it fall suddenly upon them, sisters and brothers, let's go back to Ecclesiastics 7. Ecclesiastics 7 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Ecclesiastics 7 and we going to pick it up at verse one. So, we want everybody pay attention to what what he is getting ready to say in this first verse.

Ecclesiastics 7 and pick it up at verse one. When you get there, go ahead, Elder. A good name is better than precious. A good name is better than precious ointment. Go ahead. And the day of death than the day of one's birth. Go ahead. We don't look at it that way, but God look at it differently. So now verse two, go ahead. It is better to go to the house of mourning. That's what the Bible said now. He said it is better to go to the house of mourning. Go ahead and read.

Than to go to the house of feasting. Than to go to the Kevin Hard concert. It's better for you to go look at a funeral than for you to go out and go to the to the house of feasting. So now keep reading. Keep reading. For that is the end of all men. For that is the end of all men. Go ahead. And living will lay it to his heart. Once you see somebody dead in the casket, you going to lay that to your heart. Sisters and brothers, you going to lay that to your heart because you know one day if you don't live to the coming of the Lord.

One day people going to be arranging a funeral for you one day. So now verse three. Go ahead. Sorrow is better than laughter. Sorrow is better than laughter. Sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. For the sadness of the countenance, the heart is made better. He said, "For by the sadness of the countenance, the heart is made better." Not when you happy all the time, but when you got a little sorrow about yourself. And the sorrow that he is talking about is the sorrow for the world. You can't keep walking around feeling sorry for yourself all the time because you opening a gateway for Satan to come in.

The most, you know, you sitting on the pity pot all the time. Every time you turn around, it's something that's wrong with you. Woe is me. Woe is me. Woe is me. You got to keep moving, sisters and brothers. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Four. The heart of of the wise is in the house of mourning. Go ahead. But the heart of fools in the house of m. So the Lord told you that. Now he said the heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of m.

So now let's go to Deuteronomy 32. Now, Deuteronomy 32 and we going to pick it up at verse 39. Deuteronomy 32 and we going to pick it up at verse 9. Hang on there. You're doing good, Elder. Let's go to Deuteronomy 32. Doing excellent. And let's pick it up at verse 32. Deuteronomy 32 and we go pick it up at verse 39. 32 and 39. 32 and 39. Let's get back to Israel. When you get there, go ahead and read 39. See now that I even I am he and there's no God with me.

You got to understand that. He said, see now that I even I am he and there is no God with me. So notice what the Lord say. Go ahead. I kill. Go ahead. I make alive. He said, I kill and I make alive. Go ahead. I wound. Go ahead. I heal. I wound and I heal. That's why, like I say, I I done tore everything up in my body lately. But I I know who caused the wound and I know who is the person that is going to heal me. He said, "I wound and I heal." Go ahead and read.

Neither is there any that can can deliver out of my hand. Go ahead. For I lift up my hand to heaven and say, I'll live forever. Go ahead. If I wet my giant sword and my hand take hold of judgment, I will render vengeance to my enemies and will reward them that hate me. Now you see what God saying, I'mma give you your reward. Now when you hate the Lord, you going to get your reward in the end. So that's why God telling you, we got to walk right now, sisters and brothers.

You going to hear that every week that we talk because that's what's going to make you better. The more you read this, the more and more you going to become a better person because it's going to be in your heart and in your mind. So now let's go to Ezekiel 14. Ezekiel 14 and let's pick it up at verse 21. Ezekiel 14 and we go pick it up at verse one. The Lord said, "I kill and I make alive." He said, "I wound and I heal." Let's go to Ezekiel 14 and we go pick it up at verse 21.

Ezekiel 14 and let's pick it up at verse 21. 14 and 21. When you get there, go ahead, Elder. For thus say the Lord God, go ahead. How much more when I sent my four four sword judgment upon Jerusalem, the soul. See, when we read about the four angels yesterday, those four angels is what caused these acts right here. He said, "For thus sayith the Lord God, how much more when I send my four sword judgments upon Jerusalem." Now he said, "The sword," Go ahead. The famine and the famine, "The nosless beast and the pestilence to cut off from it man and beast." Go ahead.

Yet behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth. And I want us to be that remnant, sisters and brothers. We a small remnant, but we know we doing one thing right, and that's the gospel. It's going to be somebody in every remnant that's going to go to truth. And I had an elder from another class that told me that when he was in Jerusalem at that time, he said, "Man, the way you explaining, he said, it's going to always be a small remnant that's going to know exactly what's going on, and we want to make sure that it's us." So he said, "Yet behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth." Go ahead.

Both sons and daughters. Go ahead. Behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings, and ye shall be com comforted concerning the evil that they have brought upon Jerusalem. That I have brought upon Jerusalem. That I have brought upon Jerusalem. Go ahead. Even considering that all that I have brought upon it. Go ahead. And they shall comfort you. He said, they shall comfort you. Go ahead. and you shall see their ways and their doings, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, sayeth the Lord God.

So, now I'm I'm gonna lay something a little heavy on y'all real quick. You know, I had an uncle not too long ago that died. So, you know, my father came to me and you know, you know, talked about how much really of a good man and all this he was. And uh I said I I had a different statement. I said, I pray that the Lord have mercy because I know exactly how this man cheated all over his wife. So, I'm not going I'm not going to I'm not going to give you a proper reward when you die.

And I know that you ain't living right in this word of God. Because we already that we just read that the wages of sin is death. And when God take people away, you got to realize what he has done, he has not done without cause what he has done to the people. So, you ain't gonna get you gonna get a straight up answer from Oiah. If you walk white, let's say some we lose one of our elders or mothers or children in here, I know what to say. But if I know you've been in the word and you've been out here cutting up all in the world, you ain't going to hear nothing out of me, sisters and brothers.

That's just what it is. Because the Lord also talks about a lying tongue. We can't have none of that. We got to tell the truth. So now, let's go to second Timothy 3. Second Timothy 3 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Second Timothy 3 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Paul going to warn us about how it's going to be in the last days, sisters and brothers. And the title of the lesson is death, the final warning for mankind. God telling you to get right.

Write your laws and write these statues in in your heart and keep it moving, sisters and brothers. So now, second Timothy 3. Second Timothy 3 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 2 Timothy 3 and 1. When you get there, go ahead, Elder. Know this also that in the last days perilous time shall come and those perilous times are here sisters and brothers. We read about this the last time. So he said know that also that in the last days he said perilous time shall come. Keep reading.

Go ahead. For men shall be lovers of their own selves. Men shall be lovers of their own selves. And we see that all the time. Everybody suffering it out nowadays. He said he said this know also that in the last days perilous time shall come for men shall be lovers of their own selves. What else they going to be? Go ahead. Heavenists, bosters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truth breakers, false accusers. False accusers. Go ahead. Incontinent. Incontinent. That's what they gonna be. They going to be incontinent in the last days.

Go ahead. Fears, despisers of those that are good. He said, "And they going to be despisers of those that are good." Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. Traitors, headache, high minded, lovers of pleasure more than of than lovers of God. Go ahead. Verse five. Go ahead. Having the form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, for such turn away. So now skip down to verse verse seven. We ain't worried about verse uh ver verse six. Read that verse seven. Go ahead. Ever learning. Ever learning. Go ahead. And never able to come to the truth of the come to the knowledge of the truth.

So now skip down. Skip down to verse 13 and go ahead. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. So now let's go a little bit further. Let's go to Romans 1. Now, let's go to Romans 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 18. We going to read some of these people right on over again now. So, he is showing you what's going to be in the last days. Let's go to Romans 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 18.

Romans 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 18. Romans 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 18. Let's show you about the wrath of the Lord, sisters and brothers. We talked a little bit about the wrath of the Lord about a week ago, but let's read a little bit more. Let's go to Romans 1 and pick it up at verse 18. 1 and 18. Go ahead, Elder. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. like me with my Bible.

I be doing everything in the righteousness of men whose the truth is unrighteousness because they which may be known of God is manifest in them. For God has shown them unto them, has shown them unto them. For the visible things of him, for the creation of the earth of the world, are clearly seen, being understand by the things that are made, even the eternal power in Godhead. Go ahead. So that they that are without excuse. Go ahead. Because they because that which they knew God, they glorified him. not as God, neither were they thankful, but because vain in they became vain in their imaginations and foolishness and foolish hearts were darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Go ahead. And changed the glory of the uncorrupt god into imagin. Slow down. You got it. Pick it up at verse 23 again. You got it. Go ahead. And change the glory of the incorruptible God into the image that made like a corporal a corrupt man to the birds and to the four wing 4 foot creature for foot beasts and creep and creeping things creeping things. Verse 24. Go ahead. Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who change the truth, oh God, into a lie.

Go ahead. And worship and serve the creature more than the creator who is blessed forever and ever, who is blessed forever and ever. Amen. Go ahead. For the cause of God gave them up unto a vile affection. For even their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the ch the men leaving the natural use of their women burning their lust one towards another. men with men working with which is which is seen un unseenly unseemly re received themselves the recompense of their error which was met.

Go ahead. Verse 28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a record of faith mind to do those things which are not convenient, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetedness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, maliciousness, whispers, backbiters, haters of God, Despite despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things. Go ahead. Disobedient to parents. That's a big one nowadays, boy. Disobedient to parents. Verse 31. Go ahead. Without understanding, covenant breakers. Covenant breakers. Go ahead. Without natural affection. Without natural affection.

Go ahead. Implible. Unmercify. Unmerciful. Go ahead. who knowing that the judgment of God that which that they which committed such things are worthy of death. He so now notice what God said now. So we just let the book talk a little bit. So all of these things that the people are doing now he said he said who knoweth the judgment of God that they which commit such things are what? Go ahead. Of death. They are worthy of death. Go ahead. Not only do the same not only do the same. Go ahead.

but have pleasure in them that do them. But have also pleasure in them that do these acts, sisters and brothers. So now go right off into Romans 2. Go right into Romans 2 and pick it up at verse one. We only got a few more after this. Let's go to Romans 2 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Go ahead. Therefore, thou art excus inexcusable, oh man, whosoever thou art that judgeth, but wherein thou judgeth another, thou condemnth thyself. Go ahead. But thou have judged do that. For thou have judgest doeth the same thing.

He said, "But thou that judges, you do the same things." You tell people not to do it, but then you turn around and lying and doing the same thing that you telling the people not to do. So now verse two, go ahead. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to the truth against them which commit these such things. So notice what he said. He said, "But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things." So if you go back and think about what we read off in Ezekiel the 14th chapter when he said you shall be confident when you know what they have done and and when you see the evil of their ways.

You know God done killed these people for a reason. Now so now keep reading verse three. Go ahead. And think thou this. Oh man, thou judgeth them which do such things and do the same. Thou shalt escape the judgment of God. Go ahead. Oh de thou, oh despise thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearing and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadth thee to repentance. Go ahead. But after thy hardness and thy imprisoned heart, turn up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath, and reveal of the righteous judgment of God.

Go ahead. Who will render to every man according to his deeds. who will render to every man according to his deeds. Verse seven, go ahead. To them that who by patience continue well doing seeking glory and honor, immortality, eternal life. That's what you going to do when you obey. Now he said to them who by patient continuence and welloing seek for glory and honor and im immortality and eternal life. Verse eight. But let's show you what the wicked don't get. Go ahead and read. But unto them that are contentious But to unto them that are contentious, go ahead.

Of the Jew first, he said, of the Jew first, go ahead. And also of the Gentiles, but also of the Gentiles. Go ahead and keep reading. Go ahead. But glory, honor, and peace to every man that workketh good to the Gentile first, to the Jew first, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentiles. So now read that verse 11. Go ahead. For there is no respect of person with God.

For as many as sin without law also perish without law. As many as sin in the law shall judge by the law. Go ahead. For not the hearers of the law are just before God. He said, for not the hearers of the law are just before God. Go ahead and read. Doers of the law shall be justified. But he said, but the doers of the law, they shall be justified. Sisters and brothers, the people that do the word of God, you can hear it all day long. But now, let's go a little bit further now.

Let's go now to Colossians 3. Colossians 3. And we got three more after this. Let's go to Colossians 3. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Colossians 3. And we going to pick it up at verse one, sisters and brothers. Just a little milk and cookies lesson today. But so if you understand what's going on in the world and all of the killing, you will understand why it's happening. Sisters and brothers. It's a lot of people in the world that's not seeking God. And then you got a lot of people in the world that think that they seeking God and they not seeking the Lord either.

So now Colossians 3 and let's show you what's going to happen once you turn your life over to the Lord. Colossians 3 and pick it up at verse one. Colossians 3 and 1. Go ahead. Then [clears throat] be risen with Christ. Seek those things which are above. Where Christ siteth on the right hand of God. Go ahead. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Set your affections on things above and not on things of the earth. Sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. For ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Where Christ who is our life, he said, when Christ who is also our life, go ahead and read. Shall shall appear and then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Go ahead. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth. So now let's show you what this is. He said, mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth. Go ahead and read. fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evily, covenantness, which is idolatry.
