His Lord Said Unto Him, Well Done Good and Faithful Servant

Okay y'all, I want to proceed with our Sabbath script. That was an excellent, excellent, excellent exhortation to open up the class today because that's what we here for. We here to keep the commandments, sisters and brothers, and what he just read tie in to the lesson and what we going to talk about today as being a sermon. But first, let's deal with our Sabbath script. Let's show you what God commanded, sisters and brothers. Let's go to Leviticus the 23rd chapter. Leviticus 23. A lot of people say, "Well, we read this and y'all read this every week."

It's a whole lot of classes that read things about the Sabbath day before they open up the class because that's what we here for. Yes, sir. So, even though we teach lessons that's dealing with subjects and titles, we got to read something concerning the Sabbath day every week because that's the connection between you and God. That's the connection between you and that's what make you God's people is when you keep the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. So, let's go to Leviticus 23. Leviticus 23 and we gonna read verses 1 through3.

When you get there, my beautiful beloved elder, go ahead and read. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feast of the Lord, which shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feast. So, as y'all know, we will be dealing with atonement tonight at sundown, sisters and brothers. And that is a holy convocation. That is also a Sabbath day. So, we read out of this Leviticus 23 because we understand that God has the weekly Sabbath, but then God has also seven annual Sabbath days, sisters and brothers, that fall within his season now.

And we are in the season of the seventh month. But now, let's read verse three. Go ahead. Sixth day shall work be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest. Go ahead. And holy congregation. What Mama Linda said, sisters and brothers, when we first started the lesson now, he said the Sabbath is a day of rest. You got to rest, sisters and brothers. You got to take a rest from your job. You got to take a rest from your daily lives, the things that you do. And you got to give all of this time to the Lord. Cuz I guarantee you at the end of the line, you going to be blessed for doing this.

Yes, sir. You going to be blessed for when you take your rest on the Sabbath day. So what did he say about the weekly Sabbath day? Go ahead and read. You shall do no work therein. Go ahead. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all of your dwellings. Sisters and brothers, no matter where you are, the Sabbath day is not going to change. But now let's go to Isaiah the 58th chapter. Let's go to Isaiah 58. And son, I know I wrote on there 13- 16. I was wrong. It's really 13- 14.

So, we going to read Isaiah 58 and we going to read uh verses 13-4. We going to show you what you got to put down on the Sabbath day. You got to put all your pleasures and the things that you do down on this day. Sisters and brothers, everything that you do in your personal life, you will be able to do it all again. But you have to understand when you have to put your pleasures in doing everything and put it away from God. So it he can be your only focus on this day. So now Isaiah 58 and we going to read verses 13-4.

Let's show you the reward that you get for keeping the Sabbath. Go ahead, Elder. If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing that pleasure on my holy days, put all your pleasures down on this day. This day is holy, sisters and brothers. This day is holy. So you don't want to defile the temple in no kind of way because it's a holy day. He said, "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day," go ahead and read, "and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable, and shall honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine thine own word."

And these are certain things that we got to work on, sisters and brothers. We trying to be perfect before the Lord now. Yes, sir. He said, "Be perfect because he is perfect." But only God can determine that. But one thing you got to do how you can find yourself to be perfect more is to honor him is don't do your own ways. Don't speak your own words on this day. And don't find your own pleasures. Whatever pleasures that you have, the things that make you feel good. You don't want to do that on this day because this day is holy.

So now what's going to happen in verse 14? Go ahead. Then shalt thou shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord. And I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father. Go ahead. For the month for the mouth of the Lord have spoken. He said, for the mouth of the Lord have spoken. And so that's going to be your reward in the end when you keep the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. So I want to praise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And peace to everyone here in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

I want to say happy Sabbath to my Indianapolis family. And also those that's watching us in Cincinnati. I also want to say happy Sabbath to you. And also those that's watching us that's watching in Arkansas and Mississippi. We want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. And also our beloved Elder Todd and our beloved Elder Frank and y'all family that's in Connecticut. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you. And also those that's watching us via live Facebook and YouTube live. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you and we are glad to have you with us on the Lord's Sabbath day sisters and brothers.

So also once again I want to give a round of applause to the brotherhood at the sisterhood for surviving one more week. It ain't going to be easy sisters and brothers. One thing about serving the Lord, you going to have some beautiful days. You going to have some beautiful weeks, but then you going to have some hard times and you going to have to deal with some controversy. But guess what? You still got to keep the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. So also now we going we going to get right into the lesson today sisters and brothers and once again this another lesson that I pulled out of the archives that we going to redo today because we going to talk about being a servant sisters and brothers and how wonderful that it is to serve the Lord.

See serving the Lord got to be something that's beautiful to you. It has to be something that has to be the forefront of your life. So being a servant you got to understand who you are being a servant to. You serving the Lord sisters and brothers. you serving our master Jesus Christ. Yes. So, just to kind of give you a small definition of what a servant truly is. A servant biblically speaking now is a person who belongs entirely to a master. That means that you are a slave or a bond worker. But what better way to be a slave than to serve Jesus now.

So, we all got to serve him because you got to remember when Jesus came to the earth, he washed the disciples feet. He served everybody. That's what he did. He said, "I'm I am one that ruleth, but I am also among you as one that serve." And when you serve, sisters and brothers, it got to be a beautiful thing. It got to be something that be a forefront in your life. And one thing that you got to do as being a servant, you got to be a faithful servant. So you can't be a servant of the Lord and you not faithful to when you serve him.

So you got to serve him and you got to be faithful, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. And also another thing that you got to understand as being a servant is that you got to finish. If you do not finish what you start, if you start building a city or a tower and you don't count the cost, then in the end that's going to cost you because we going to show you that you got to serve the Lord all the time. Even in your daily lives, even in in your job, even with people in your family, your friends, you still got to be a servant of the Lord, sisters and brothers.

And in the end, you don't get the spiritual body, you don't get the reward. So the title of a lesson is his Lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant. See this what's going Jesus going to say to you when you at the end of the line. Once you wake up and the Lord returns back, this is what you have to expect, sisters and brothers. And if you finish this mission and you do everything that God tell you to do, that's what he gonna say to you in the end. Because if you either go, he either gonna say this to you or he going to say, "Depart from me, you workers of iniquity that I never knew you."

So you going to get that next and then he going to tell you to stand to the left and then you going to go into the lake of fire, which we going to talk a little bit about that today. So once again, the title of the lesson is his Lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant. So we want to start this lesson off in Revelations the 3 chapter. Revelations 3. We going to skip around a little bit because one thing you have to be as a servant as you have to endure unto the end, sisters and brothers. So we all know that the Lord is going to save us now.

He going to get us out of trouble which we going to read some about. But in the end you going to get the ultimate reward. And that ultimate reward is to live forever. Just think about walking in the streets of gold sisters and brothers. Think about walk walking through the the the pearly gates and you see New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven. Imagine when those things happen. But we have a chance to be a part of that if we endure unto the end. Amen. So now let's go to Revelation 3. Revelation 3. Revelations 3.

You know what? Pick it up at verse two. Let's read Revelations 3, but pick it up at verse two because God going to give us a message off in this verse two. So, Revelations 3 and pick it up at verse two. When you get there, Ra, go ahead and read. Be watchful. Right off the rip, he said, "Be watchful." You got to watch. That's why I wanted to stop him right here. You cannot serve the Lord being blind. Sisters and brothers, you got to watch in all things. And you have to endure affliction as a good servant of the word of of a good servant of the Lord.

So, he said, "Be watchful." Go ahead. And strengthen the things which remain. Go ahead. That are ready to die. For I have not found thy works perfect before God. So now this is what God told in Sardis church. Now he knew that they was trying to serve the Lord, but they was not serving the Lord with a true heart. You have some people is I forget which king it was in the Bible that he did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart. See, God want your heart to be perfect. Now, so that's what he was telling the church now.

He said, "For I have not found thy works perfect before God." So God did not cast them away or tell them that they was not going to make the mission. God is going to give them strength to endure. So what did he tell him at verse three? Go ahead. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard. Go ahead. And hold fast and repent. And that's what we all need to do now. He said remember therefore how how thou has received and heard and hold fast and repent. So you got to hold fast the word of God and you got to repent every day because you did something wrong against God that day.

No matter how perfect you are. You have done something that was not pleasing in his sight. So you got to be repent to the Lord all the time. He said remember therefore how thou has received and heard and hold fast and repent. Go ahead and read. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a th and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. So now skip skip down to verse five. and go ahead. He that overcometh, sisters and brothers, and you overcome when you die, now he said, he that overcomemeth, go ahead and read, "The same shall be clothed in white rain."

Go ahead. And I will not blot out his name out of the book of life. Go ahead. But I will confess his name before my father and before his angels. Do you hear what Jesus just said right here, sisters and brothers? He said, "He that overcome it, the same shall be clothed in white raignment." Don't you want that white raignment? I know a lot of us, we like to wear white t-shirts to represent that white raignment. But one day, you going to be clothed with it for real, sisters and brothers, sir. And he said, "And I will not blot out his name out of the book of life."

And dei said, "I will confess his name before my father and before his angels." Sisters and brothers, that is a great honor, but you can obtain this if you endure unto the end. So now, let's skip down to verse 12 and go ahead. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God. And we all know what a pillar is. We going to read about what a pillar is next. Now, but ye said, "Him that overcome it, will I make a pillar in the temple of my God?" A pillar don't move. A pillar lasts forever, sisters and brothers.

You set foundations upon pillars. The Lord set the world on seven pillars and the earth don't move at all. So that's going to be the same thing that symbolically of what God is saying about you when he make you a pillar in the temple of my God. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And he shall go no more out. And I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God. Go ahead. And I will write upon him my new name. This is all what we got to look forward to, sisters and brothers, for being a servant of God.

This the only thing that we got to look forward to. So if you want hope in this world, this what you hope on. Because God told you what he said, set your affections on things on high and not on things that's on the earth. So you got to put your mindset as though you are dwelling with the father and the son and the holy angels. That's how you say God in your mind. So now skip down to verse 20. Verse 20 and go ahead. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. That's what God is doing to us. We did we did a lesson on this one time.

Now he said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." God is knocking at what door? Knocking at the door of your mind. That's where he is knocking at. But see, a lot of people once he knock at the door, don't nobody open the door and let them in. You know how many people they come to class and we hope they come back. but then Satan take it right out of their heart and take it right out of their mind. That's why when he stand at the door and knock, you got to let him in. And you can't let Satan in at all. Because if Satan come in, he going to dwell there and take everything out of your heart what God has already put in.

So now notice what else he said in the middle of verse 20. Go ahead. If any man hear my voice, go ahead and open the door. That's what he said. He said, "If any man hear my voice and open the door, now go ahead. I will come into him and will suck with him and he with me." And we going to give you an example of that a little bit later. Now he said, "I'm going to come in and suck with him and he with me." Just by you letting the Lord in, he's spiritually speaking. Now, that means every day I'm gonna be eating with you.

I'm gonna be drinking with you at your table, but it's going to be in the door of your mind. That's how you let the Lord in. One day it's going to be a physical act where we sit with him all together. So now verse 21, go ahead. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me and my throne. Go ahead. Even as I also overcame and am s set down with my father in his throne. Go ahead. He that have an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the church. Let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches, sisters and brothers.

So now let's go to second Timothy the 4th chapter. Now 2 Timothy 4, and we going to show you what the example of a true Christian is. Like I say all the time, a lot of people don't like the word Christian. They don't. That's that old Paul stuff. Well, I don't have no problem saying it because it's in the book. And all that a Christian is is for you to be Christlike. That's the only thing of being a Christian truly is. Like Elder David said yesterday, being a true Christian is helping the poor, helping people who don't know nothing about God at all.

That's how this where you get your true help at sisters and brothers. But let's go to First Timothy the 4th chapter now. And we going to pick it up at verse 9. 1 Timothy 4. And we gonna pick it up at verse 9. 1 Timothy 4:9. Go ahead, Elder. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. Go ahead. For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach. Go ahead. Because we trust in the living God. Well, he ain't never lied when he said that right there, boy. He said, "For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach."

Now, now you going to suffer reproach as being a Christian. But he going to tell you why. He It's He said it's because we trust in the living God. A lot of people can't understand that, right? A lot of people don't. But I wish they would, but they don't understand that right now. He said, "If therefore we both labor and suffer reproach because we trust in the living God." Go ahead and read. Who is the savior of all men, Go ahead. Specifically, especially of those that believe. So he going to save all men now. So because even the men that are wicked, God leave them alive for them to change.

He's given them a chance. So he is the savior of all men but especially of those that believe. Sisters and brothers. See when you believe this gospel and you living this gospel to the best of your ability, he going to especially be the savior of you. But now verse 11, go ahead. These things command and teach. Go ahead. Let no man despise thy youth. But be thou an example of the believer. Go ahead. In word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in in purity. So this how you this is what a true man or a true woman of God is supposed to behave.

So we want to get down because we talking about being a servant now. So if you going to be a servant, then you have to be an example of the believers now in word, in conversation, in charity. That's in that is love and in spirit. What spirit? That spirit that you read off in Ephesians the 6th chapter, that armor of God, that's in the spirit. He said also in faith. You got to have faith to serve him. And also in purity, you got to purify your mind in order to serve the Lord. That means everything that you thought you knew about God before you came into the word, you got to get all of that out.

And you got to be like a newborn baby all over again because God gonna throw these scriptures on you that you never thought about before. So now verse 13, go ahead. Till I come, give attendance to reading. Now go ahead. To exhortation. That's what we do when the brother and the sisterhood text every day. He said give attendance to reading to exhortation. That's encouragement. Sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read to doctrine. And also the doctrine. See, I'm real big when it comes to the doctrine. I am one teacher or one pastor that truly believes that it got to be all the way right.

It can't have no mixture in it at all. So now verse 14, go ahead. Neglect not the gift that is in thee. Go ahead. Which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on of hands of the Presbyterian. Mediate, oh, meditate upon these things. Give thyself holy to them that thy property may appear to all. Go ahead. Take heed unto thyself. So he said, "Take heed unto thyself." Go ahead. And unto the doctrine. Go ahead. Continue in this. No, we just read in Revelations the third chapter. You got to continue in the word of God.

Now, that's why he said you got to hold fast that which you have learned. So he said, "Continue in them." So now, what's going to happen when you do this? Go ahead. For in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself. Go ahead. And them that hear thee. So you going to save thyself, and also them that hear thee, sisters and brothers. You going to save them. So now, let's go a little bit further. Let's go to St. Luke the 12th chapter. Now St. Luke 12 and we going to pick it up at verse 32. We going to read a parable about the faithful and wise steward.

We want to talk a little bit about faith a little bit and then we going to get on down to what it is to be a true servant of the Lord, sisters and brothers. And we can't forget these things. We all these people got we you got a few people on the hand that's trying to serve Jesus the correct way. A lot of people don't. A lot of people just go with the flow. Well, we not those people. But we believe unto the saving of the soul. So now St. Luke 12 and let's pick it up at verse 31. Go ahead. but rather seek ye the kingdom of God.

That's what he told. That's why we said earlier now that you got to set your mind on things on high and not on things of the earth. He said, "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God." Go ahead and read. And all these things shall be added unto you. So you ain't got to worry about tomorrow. You ain't got to worry about what you have or what you don't have when you are seeking the kingdom of God. So if you truly believe this in your mind and God is not a God that he will lie to you at all. If you truly believe this in your mind, God going to take care of all of the little needs that you have, sisters and brothers.

So you don't have to worry about that. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Fear not little flock. He said, "Fear not, little flock." Go ahead. For it is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. I want to give it to you now. That's what God want to do. I don't want to throw you in the lake of fire. I want to save you. I want to give you the kingdom of God. Amen. So now verse 33, go ahead. Sell that you have. Go ahead. And give arms. He says, "Sell that you have and give arms." Now go ahead. Provide yourself bags with which wax not old.

A treasure in the heavens that fell not where no thief approach neither moth corrupted. So just think about you brought a brand new car. You got a new car sitting outside. You forgot to lock the door. and all of a sudden somebody come around and jump in that car and you look out the window the next day and it's gone. Now you got to make police reports and everything else just to get the car back. See, they can't do this with eternal life. You can't jump all the way up to the third heaven and take your salvation away.

The only person that can take your salvation away from you is you. You got to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Now, sir, but Jesus said, "Sell that you have and give arms to the people." He said, "Provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that failth not. Where no thief approach it, neither do my corrupt." So now notice what he said at verse 34. Go ahead. For where your treasure is, go ahead. There will your heart be also. If your mind is always on jobs and money and things on the earth, you might as well give it up, sisters and brothers.

Cuz he said, "For where your treasury is, there will your heart be also." So if you gathering up treasures on the earth, they only on the earth, what do you think going to happen in the end? So you got to lay up treasures that's in the heavens, sisters and brothers. So now verse 35, go ahead. Let your loss be girded about. Go ahead. And your lights burning. Yeah, you got to have those lights burning all the time. Now we talked about those candlesticks and those lights had to be burning all the time so they could never go out.

That's the same thing with your faithfulness and your servitude toward Jesus. It also can't go out. You can't let that light dim at all. That's right. Keep reading. Go ahead. 36. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their Lord, when he will return for the wedding, that when he cometh and knockth, they may open unto him immediately. Go ahead. Blessed are those servants whom the Lord when he cometh shall find watching. Verily I say unto you that he shall guard himself and make them to sit down to meet me. Go ahead.

And will come forth and serve them. Wait a minute. Now this in the kingdom. Yes. Notice what we reading about now. So you talking about being a servant on this earth when you make it into the kingdom. Jesus going to sit down and serve you. And he did that while he was on the earth. Sisters and brothers. That's why Jesus made that statement. Shall the children lay up for the father? shall not the fathers lay up for the children. So Jesus provided everything for the people from the food, the 5,000 people that he fed with the bread and the fishes.

So he always laid up for them. But what did he do to him at that time? He served them sisters and brothers. So once you make this mention again, once you make this mission again rather, he is going to sit down with you and eat and will come forth and serve them. So even when Jesus going to be off in his in his physical glory, he is still going to be serving the people. So now verse 38, go ahead. And if he shall come in the second watch, go ahead. For come in the third watch and find them so, blessed are those servants.

Go ahead. And this know that if the good man of the house had known what out of the deep would come, he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be broken through. So imagine how many times you leave the house and then you come back home and somebody had broke in into the house. Had you been home, they wouldn't have did that cuz you would have heard them coming because but what were you doing at that time? You was watching sisters and brothers. That's why you got to watch you. So what thief is he talking about breaking into what house?

Your spiritual house. Your body. Cuz he'll break in in a minute. And once he break in, he going to bring seven other spirits with him and they going to sit there and they going to suck with you then. So then you going to be dealing with the evil angels, sisters and brothers. So you want to make sure that you keep your house clean and you keep your house garnished and that you also watch out for the thief because Satan was described as the thief, sisters and brothers. And the thief comes to do what? Steal, kill, and destroy.

That's what he come for. So now verse 40, go ahead. Be ye therefore ready also. Go ahead. For the son of man cometh at an hour when you think not. Go ahead. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speak thou this parable unto us, or even to all? And the Lord said, Whom then is that faithful and wise steward? So now we getting down to the lesson now. He said, and the Lord said, who then is that faithful and wise steward? Because Peter had asked, "Is this parable for us or is it for all of us?" So the Lord go show you who this parable was for.

He said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward?" Go ahead. whom his lord shall make ruler over his household. Go ahead. To give them the portion of meat in due season. Go ahead. Blessed is that servant whom his lord when he cometh shall find him doing so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he has. Just in the least things, sisters and brothers, he said, blessed is that servant whom is lord when he cometh shall find so doing. So that means you got to be dealing with the Lord in the first watch of the night, the second watch, the third watch.

But you got to be doing these things also in the daytime because you don't know when the Lord is going to come and try you and put you with a situation to show you if you going to serve him or not because it's going to be some situations that come up that you got to make a choice between man and you got to make a choice between God. So I'm going to tell you to make that choice between the Lord. Sisters and brothers, we ought to obey God rather than man. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 45. But and if that servant say in his heart, go ahead.

The Lord delayeth his that person that always think they got time to get it right. Right. And then God is so merciful. They didn't give a person time to get it right. But one time at and at some point your time is going to run out. One time at some point it's going to run out. So you can't say in your heart that the Lord he delayed is coming so I got time to do right. I can do a little bit of wrong and still get away with it. You can't be like that sisters and brothers. Keep reading. Go ahead. And shall begin to beat the men's servants and maidens and to eat and drink and to be drunken.

Go ahead. The Lord of that servant will come in the day when he lookth not for him. He going to come in the day when he lookth not for him. Go ahead. And at an hour when he is not aware. And then he going to come in an hour when he is not aware. Go ahead. And we'll cut him in sunder and will appoint him his portion with the unbeliever. You don't want to be a part of this, sisters and brothers. Do you just ask yourself this? So we all people are here that that that like to think that we are serving the Lord to the best of our ability.

What good is it for you to put in all of this work and then turn around and get a portion with the unbelievers in the end? But see, those are talking to the people that do not continue in this gospel. Some people gonna hold on to this gospel until the end, and some people gonna fall away. And that's just a fact of life, sisters and brothers. Some people going to fall away from it. Keep reading. Go ahead. 27. And that servant which knew his Lord's will, Go ahead, and prepare not himself, neither did according to his will, Go ahead.

shall be beaten with many stripes. You going to be beaten with many strikes because you knew better. You knew what to do. You knew to love. You knew to control your temper and to control your mouth. You knew how to love, but you chose not to do it. Every now and then, you can still feel a piece of this wrath. Now, God ain't God don't want you to be that type of person. Trust me, I was the meanest man on the planet. If I can learn how to control my temper, anybody can. So you don't want to be around here beating and being servants and the maid servants the way that I used to be.

You want to make sure that you change your behavior. What we read off in first Timothy the 4th chapter of being an example of a true Christians in belief in charity in faith and in conversation. That's your behavior. You got to act differently. We not from the hood no more. We ain't on the block no more. We not there. We used to be. But we gone from that now. We on to bigger and better things. So now verse 47, go ahead. Okay. Verse 48. Verse I'm sorry. Verse 48. Go ahead. But he that knew not and did commit things worthy of strife.

Go ahead. Shall be beaten with few stripes. You I mean you you would you wouldn't think that, would it? You going to be sitting around here, you knew the Lord's will and you getting tow up. And then the people that did knew this Lord's will, they going to be beat with few stripes. Why? Because they didn't know. that what they was doing was wrong. So what's going to happen? The Lord gonna wait them in an even balance on how they was in this life because they didn't know it all. But keep reading. Go ahead. For unto whomsoever much is given.

Go ahead. Of him shall be much required. He said for unto whomsoever much is given of him shall be much required. God require a lot for you. If you going to be written in the book of life and I'm going to uh confess your name before the father and his angels, then you got some work to do. much is going to be required of you. Your behavior is going to be required of you. The way that you act and treat people is going to be required of you. Go ahead and read. And to whom men have committed much of him they will ask the more.

He said he said of men which have committed much of him they will even ask the more sisters and brothers. Let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to St. Matthew the 25th chapter. Let's go read about the parable of the wise and the foolish virgin. Sisters and brothers, this one parable I don't read a lot. So, I thought we put this in to read it because it's one of the least uh parables that I put in lessons, but we going to read about it today. So, let's go to St. Matthew the 25th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse one.

St. Matthew 25 and we going to pick it up at verse one, sisters and brothers. And I believe I believe the Lord gonna bring a kingdom to the earth. Did y'all see that? We just did a lesson on death, the final warning for mankind. It wasn't two days later before the Lord sent another typhoon or what that was through Nepal. Did y'all see that? Man, there was nothing on this earth that could withstand that. And God made sure the whole world saw it. When them waters came over that big old tall building, there was nothing on this earth that could have withstand that, sisters and brothers.

Nobody on this earth. I mean, it was picking trains off the railroad tracks like you pick a piece of paper up off the floor. Imagine a human being that was in front of that. They were gone, sisters and brothers. But see, that was for the whole world to see. So you can understand to get your house in order before you be a part of that. So now say Matthew 25 and let's pick it up at verse one. I believe you, Lord. I'm going all in for you. St. Matthew 25 and1. Go ahead. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like unto 10 virgin.

Go ahead. Which took their lamp. Go ahead. And went forth to meet the bridegroom. So we going to talk about these virgins. Now you can we like we talked about these verses not too long ago in revelations 14 and you can read about these virgins also in songs of Solomon. Now so when this in this point right here he said then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto 10 virgins now which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. Verse two, go ahead. And five of them were wise. Five of them was wise. Go ahead.

And five were foolish. You going to always have some people that's foolish around. But like I say all the time, you know, we like to get mad at those people. Don't get don't hate the vessel that Satan want you to do that. Satan want you to hate the person, but you can't hate the person. You got to hate the spirit that's behind the person. Now, so he said five of them was wise and five of them was foolish. Verse three, go ahead. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. They took the lamps now, but they didn't take no oil with them.

They didn't take the word of God with them. That's what the oil represent. So they the foolish, they took their lamps, but they didn't have no oil at all. That means that their lights weren't burning. What we just read about they lights done went out. So now verse three, go ahead. But the wise took oil in their vessels. He said, "But the wise took oil in their vessels." Go ahead. With their lamps, while the bridegroom tried, they all slumbered and slept. Go ahead. And at midnight there was a m cry made, "Behold, the bridegroom cometh."

Go ahead. Go ye out to meet him. So all of them were sleep at night. But then what happened? The bridegroom which is Jesus now he coming out to meet him. So Jesus came in an hour when these people was not aware of. But see they came in an hour. But see five of the people was already wise. But now keep reading. Go ahead. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, go ahead. Give us your old for our lamps are not are gone out. He so now the foolish said unto the wise give us of your oil for our lamps are gone out it's too late sisters and brothers it's too late at that time so Jesus has made his second return and when he makes his second return then you are going to be judged according to the acts that you did in this life.

Yes sir. So now they asking the wise people to give them some more because their lamps are gone out. But now what happened? Go ahead. No. But the wise answered, saying, "Not so, lest there be not enough for us and you, but go ye rather to them that sell." Go ahead and buy for yourself. Sometimes you got to be selfish in the end, like Elder David told me this week, as much as we all come to church together and we all love one another and we be here, hey, ain't nobody going to be able to stand for you in the judgment.

The only person that's going to be able to stand for you is you. Your wife ain't going to be there. Your children ain't going to be there when the books going to be open before you. It's just going to be you there. And you going to have to be accountable for all you did. And hey, man, hey, it was hard enough for me in this life. So, I know I ain't got no oil for you. I barely made it myself. So, you better go, get some oil for yourselves. That's what this parable was all about. So, you can read the rest of that parable on your own.

But, let's show you. a brother that took oil in his lamp. Let's go to Genesis 6. Genesis 6. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. Let's go deal. You know, Noah, one of my favorite people in the Bible, sisters and brothers, because see the reason why I like Noah. Imagine being Noah. Everybody thought Noah was crazy. Didn't nobody want to listen to Noah. Everybody that it mean it was thousands of people that was probably walking past Noah when he was building an ark saying he was crazy. He didn't know what he was talking about.

That's why I identified with him. because didn't nobody like him. So now let's go to Genesis 6. He told them, "God get ready to destroy the world." And didn't nobody listen to him. But in the end, Noah was saved and everybody else had died, sisters and brothers. But look, because he all he Noah, he had that oil in his lamp. He had the word of God. That's what the oil is. So now, Genesis 6 and let's pick it up at verse five. Genesis 6 and five. Go ahead. And and God saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth.

Boy, he ain't never lying. Just look at the wickedness of man that's in the earth today. It's just getting totally wicked. It's wicked everywhere. I mean, just look at things like the WNBA now, man. It's like a circus there. Now, you want to enjoy the women playing basketball, but then they got a law saying that if you were transgender that you could join the team, but that's what they doing in the world always filled with drama. So, he said, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth." Go ahead and read.

and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually was only all of his thoughts. So he didn't set his mind on things above. He didn't set his heart on God. All of his imaginations was evil continually. That means he didn't think nothing about Jesus at all. Everything that he thought in his mind, it was all wicked and evil, sisters and brothers. So now what did God do at verse six? Go ahead. And they repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth. And he grieved him at his heart.

And the Lord said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beasts, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air, for it repented me that I have made them." But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. That's what Noah found. He found grace. So, so, so, so just to give everybody, what are you saved by? grace, sisters and brothers. Yes. So he said, "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." Go ahead and read. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation.

Go ahead. And Noah walked with God. See, Noah walked with the Lord, sisters and brothers. He was a just man, and he was also perfect in his generations. Now, and he also said, "And Noah, he walked with God." Verse 10, go ahead. And Noah begat three sons, Sham, Ham, and Jacob. And the earth also was corrupt before God. Go ahead. And the earth was filled with violence. the same way that it is now. But no matter how bad that it is now, it wasn't as bad as it was then. I can only imagine what was going going around in those days, sisters and brothers.

But he said the earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence the same way that it is now. But we get to that point. You going toward an evil time. Verse 12. Go ahead. And God looked upon the earth, and beheld, it was corrupt. For all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. And behold, I will destroy them with the earth." Go ahead. Make thee an ark of gopher wood. Brooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shall pitch it within, and without pitch.

And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of. The length of the ark shall be 300 cubits, the breadth of it 50 cubits, and the height of it 30 cubits. Go ahead. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and a cubit shalt thou finish it above, and the door of the ark shall thou set in the side thereof, with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. Go ahead. And behold, I even I do to bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life from under the heaven, and everything that is in the earth shall die.

See, that's the reason why I kind of talked about that little flood that happened in in Nepal and in China. Just think about it. That was on a small scale. Just think about the flood that we had in Indiana not too long ago. We seen out of waters and everything was shut down. Gary didn't have no power for over two weeks. So when you look at you just look at a little bit of water and look at the damage that it did. So imagine this right here where the water had reached all the way up to the clouds. Sisters and brothers, nothing on this earth could withstand it.

He said in verse 17, he said, "And behold, I even I do bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life from under heaven and everything that is in the earth shall die. But what is he gonna do with the one that he going to save? Verse 18, go ahead. But with thee will I establish my covenant. He said, "But with thee will I establish my covenant." Go ahead. And thou shalt come into the ark, thou and thy sons and thy wife, and thy sons wise with thee. Go ahead. And every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark to keep them alive with thee.

They shall be male and female. Go ahead. a fouls after their kind and the cattle after their kind. He used Noah to save the whole world, sisters and brothers. Not only did he save man, but he also had saved all of the land animals as well because it wouldn't have been nothing to reproduce. So, he brought all of these animals into the ark to keep seed alive upon the face of the earth. Keep reading now, but go ahead. of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind. Two of every sort shall come unto thee to keep them alive.

And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee, and it shall be for food for thee and for them. Go ahead. Thus did Noah, according to all that God commanded him. Go ahead. So did he. I think that was one of the most important verses that we read so far is that at verse 22 he said he did according to all that God commanded him so did he. So we always talk about the obedience sisters and brothers you got to obey God. But now let's go to St. Matthew the 24th chapter. Now let's go to St.

Matthew 24. We going to pick it up at verse 31 because we all know God going to come back the second time and he going to destroy the world with fire now and he going to come back and take our people back over into the land. Sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. They going to go right back over there. So now let's go to St. Matthew 24 and we going to pick it up at verse 31. St. Matthew 24 and verse 31. 24 and 31. When you get there, go ahead, Elder. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet. And we just came out of trumpets.

Now, we just came out of we just did trumpets now. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet. Go ahead and read. And they shall gather together his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other. That's what's going to happen. We going to go back home, sisters and brothers. We going to go right back home. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. 32. Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When his branch is yet tender and put forth leaves, you know that summer is not. Now he said, when his branch is yet tender and puteth forth leaves, you know that summer is not.

See, that's how we deal with the calendar. We deal with it numerically and we deal with the dry and the wet season, sisters and brothers. Why? Because it's written all over the Bible that that's the way that it's done. So he said when it he said when his branch is yet tender and puteth forth leaves, you know that summer is not. So now verse 33, go ahead. So likewise ye go ahead. When ye shall see all these things, go ahead. Know that it is near. Go ahead. Even at the doors, verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled.

Go ahead. Heaven and earth shall pass away. He says, heaven and earth shall pass away. Go ahead. But my word shall not pass away. So heaven and earth going to pass away, but my word shall not pass away. One day it ain't going to be no sun, moon, and stars at all. It's going to be the father and the son that's going to give light all over the earth. So this is going to all pass away, but my word shall not pass away. His scriptural words. Verse 36, go ahead. But of that day, an hour, nor no man, no, not the angels of heaven.

Go ahead. But my father only. Go ahead. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in merry. Go ahead. Until the day that Noah entered into the ark. That's what they was doing. That's why we pointed that out. Wasn't nobody believing nothing what Noah was talking about. Kind of the same way what the world thinks about us today. They think we crazy, man. Y'all go to church on Saturday.

What? We supposed to be praising and dancing on Sunday, but not on the Lord's Sabbath day. So, people don't really believe that, sisters and brothers. That's why we don't hold it to their charge. Satan has made a world that's designed to go against God's Sabbath days. He said they shall think to change times and laws. So if you don't have your spiritual eyes on, a lot of people are going to get trapped up in what the Sabbath day truly is because they have been blinded by Satan. So now verse 39, go ahead. And knew not till the flood came.

But they didn't have time because see the Lord was back at that time. They didn't have time to prepare no more. See at one at at some point your time go run out. That's why you got to use your time wisely while you on the earth. He said he and knew not until the flood came. Go ahead. And took them all away. Go ahead. So shall also the coming of the son of man be. Sisters and brothers. It's going to be the exact same way. But let's go right off into St. Matthew 25. And put you a marker in St. Matthew 25 because we going to be in St.

Matthew 25 all day. Let's go to St. Matthew 25 and we gonna pick it up at verse 10. Now St. Matthew 25 and we gonna pick it up at verse 10. Go ahead. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. He said while they went to buy, now the bridegroom came. So they ain't going to have no time no more because the bridegroom is Jesus. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. Go ahead. They that were ready went in with him to the marriage. Go ahead. And the door was shut. Once you go in to the party, baby, it's over with.

You can't be taught for the party on this one. You got to be in at this time. Now he said, "And while they went to buy the bridegroom came, and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut." So now verse 11, go ahead. Afterwards came also the other virgin, saying, "Lord, Lord, open to us." Go ahead. But he answered and said, "Verily I say unto you, go ahead. I know you not." You do not want the Lord to say this to you, sisters and brothers, and I don't know you. You've been on your hands and knees your whole life, and he still didn't know you.

You do not want to be this way. But it's a lot of people in the world that's praying to the Lord with a sincere heart. But when it come to the end, he ain't going to know him because they didn't seek him with their whole heart or they was left ignorant. Sisters and brothers, that's why God ain't going to hold you accountable. I gave you the book. No, that's why he's going to hold you accountable rather because I gave you the book, but you chose not to obey the book. So now verse 13, go ahead. Watch therefore once again he said, "Watch therefore."

Go ahead. For ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the son of man cometh. Go ahead. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country who called his own servants and delivered unto them his goods and unto one he gave five talents to another two and to another one. So we read about these talents. Now he say he said for the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country. Now that far country is none other than heaven, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

See, when Jesus went and sat on the right hand of the father, he left gifts behind for us. Some people have the gifts of help. Some people have the gifts of prophecy. Some people can speak in tongues. Some people have the gift of love. So, he left these gifts unto men. So, he expect for you to use the gifts that he gave you. So, now keep reading. Go ahead. To every man according to his se several ability and straight way took his journey. Go ahead. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same and made them other five talent.

See what they doing? They bringing forth fruit. See the money that the Lord gave them, they used their money and brought forth more money with it. That's what God want you to do. So now he want you to bring forth fruit. If I give you so if I give you a talent, I want you to add to the talent that he has already given you. So don't take your the talent that the Lord gave you and through. Man, we got some great brothers in this class. We looking for laborers. We looking for brothers that's going to labor in the class.

That's what we need. So if you have a talent, you have a singing ability, you have a reading ability, use it to your advantage because that's what God for especially we walk in the truth. So now keep reading now. Go ahead. 17 and likewise he did have received two. He also gained other two. He went and gained another two. So no matter what God give you, you got to make sure that you use it. He gave some people really really big churches. He gave some people little small churches. That's okay in the eyes of the Lord because God looking at what you doing with it.

He's looking at how are you honoring me with the talents that I gave you. He going to give to every man as his several abilities shall be. Keep reading now. Go ahead. But he that have received one talent. He just had one talent. He gave you one talent. One talent. And what did he do with his one talent? Go ahead. And dave in the earth and hid his Lord's money. And hid this. He went and hid the Lord's money. I gave you some but I ain't going to use it. I'mma take it and I'mma hide it. I'mma hide my talent. So let's show you how God feel about it.

Go ahead. After a long time the Lord of those service cometh. Go ahead. And reckon this with death. He reckon with it. He said after a long time the Lord of those servants cometh and reckon it with them. That means he gave you a long time to get it right. God gives you time to get it right. But you got to get it right. He ain't going to wait on you forever. He gonna wait on you as long as he can because he merciful. But now what? At some point his mercy gonna run out and that's when he got to deal with you. But keep reading.

Go ahead. And so he that have received five talents came and bought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou delivers unto me five talents. Go ahead. Behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. I gained five talents more. You gave me five, but then I gained five talents more. I added to what you gave me, Lord. That means that what you gave me that I didn't take it in vain what you gave me. I used it and I also went out and I gained five talents for. So what he said verse 21 go ahead. His Lord said unto him well done thou good and faithful servant.

This where we get the title of a lesson from. So when you do what God said, when you endure unto the end, when you keep all of his commandments to the best of your ability, that when you stand before him, he said, the Lord, his lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant. Go ahead, read. Thou has been faithful over a few things. Go ahead. I will make thee ruler over many things. You going to rule with him. What you going to be ruling? I don't know. Whatever job you get, that's what God gonna give you.

But it's gonna be way more than what you doing now. He told Zachchariah in the book of Zechariah, he said, "Thou shalt prophesy before many nations one day." So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. Enter thou into the joy of the Lord. You going to enter into it then. Right now, the joy of the Lord is your strength. But at some point, you going to walk into the joy of the Lord. That joy is his kingdom, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. One day you going to walk into it, but you got to hold fast until the end.

Verse 22, go ahead. He also that had received two talents came and said, go ahead. Lord, thou deliverest unto me two talents. Behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant. Go ahead. Thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler over many things. Go ahead. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. He going to enter into the joy of the Lord. So we see the person that had five talents, he didn't prevent the person that had two. So the person that had two talents, he going to get the exact same reward as the person that had the five talents.

Sisters and brothers, you just got to endure until the end. You ain't got to be the person that know everything and you got to explain everything. What you got to do is hold fast what you have and repent. That's what you got to do. You got to repent of your actions. Yeah. So now let's go to Romans 6. And like I said, put your put you a marker and say Matthew 5. We'll be back here later. Let's go to Romans 6 now. And we going to pick it up at verse 12. Romans 6. We going to pick it up at verse 12. We doing this because I'm doing this for a reason, sisters and brothers.

Like we got a few people that's doing a little small fast today, but then tomorrow, tonight at sundown, everybody got to do it. Everybody. God want you to finish. He want you to be faithful serving him. So tonight at sundown, it can't be no food and no water. Even if you wanted it to be that, you can't do it tonight. So now let's go to Romans 6 now. Romans 6 and we going to pick it up at verse 12. Good. When you get there, go ahead. Let not sin therefore rain in your mortal body. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body.

He ain't saying you ain't going to mess up. He said don't let sin reign in your mortal body. That means that it dwell there. That's where it rains. So you going to mess up every now and then. You might as well get used to that. God know that too. That's why he going to chastise you now. And he ain't going to send the floods and kill you like he killed those people in Nepal. But what I will do is chastise you and destroy some of the works of your hands. When you thought you was just going to make it through the door, I'm going to pull the rug out from under you and you got to start over again.

See, that's how God do to get your attention. But he said, "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodies." Go ahead. That you should obey it in the lust thereof. Quit doing everything that your body tell you to do. Quit doing it. Quit getting mad every time your body want you to get mad. Don't do it. That's how Satan want to trap you. He going to trap you in what you are the weakest at. And a lot of people are weak through their anger. That's where he started at. A lot of people weak through lust and that's what he get them through.

So God want you to continue. But keep reading. Go ahead. 13. Go ahead. Neither yield your yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin. Go ahead. But yield yourselves unto God. Go ahead. As those that are alive from the dead. When you come out of the water. That's what he talking about. Sisters and brothers. You a new person at this time. So you can't yield your body as instruments of unrighteousness. But you got to yield your bodies as those that are alive from the dead. Go ahead and read. And your members are in as instruments of righteousness unto God.

That's your body, sisters and brothers. That's your whole body. No fornicating, no doing those things that's going to get you in trouble with the Lord. So now verse 14, go ahead. For sin shall not have dominion over you. For sin shall not have domember over you. Go ahead. For ye are not under the law. Go ahead. But under grace. And we understand what this saying, sisters and brothers. He said, "For ye are not under the law, but under grace." A lot of people use this but he but but first of all these was letters that Paul had wrote and he was writing to the Romans that was living correctly.

He was not writing to every Romans. Now he was writing to the ones that was living right. He said for you are not under the law but under grace. So they was not under the law because they wasn't saying it. They was actually doing what God told them to do. So from that point they was not under the law because see the law work. The law is what get you in trouble. But he said but you are under grace. Go ahead and read 15. What then shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace. Go ahead. God forbid. He said God forbid.

Go ahead. Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourself servants to obey your servants his servants ye are to whom ye obey? Go ahead. Whether to sin unto death. He said whether of sin unto death. Go ahead. Or of obedience unto righteousness. This sisters and brothers. Obedience. Obeying. It's a beautiful thing. It's beautiful when you obey. We like to think just because we grown now we can do what we want to do. And in a sense, you probably can do what you want to do. But don't let don't let it get you in trouble with the Lord.

When he talking about being obedience, he is talking about what Noah did when he built the ark. He did the all that God had commanded him to do and you got to do the same thing. So now verse 17, go ahead. But God be thank. He gonna tell you what we just talked about. He said, "But God be thank." Go ahead. That ye were the servants of sin. But that you were the servants of sin. Go ahead. But ye have obeyed from the heart that former doctrine which was delivered you. That's why we saying he wasn't talking to every Roman that was in the room.

He was talking to the ones that was following the doctrine of Christ. Verse 18. Go ahead. Being then free, made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. Go ahead. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh. He said, I speak after the manner of men because the infirmity of your flesh. Go ahead and read. For as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness, and to iniquity unto iniquity. Go ahead. Even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness unto holiness.

See that holiness word is sticking out to me a whole lot more now sisters and brothers. It's sticking out a whole lot more. He said he said he says servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity. He said even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. See we got to learn to be more holy. That's what we got to learn to be. We got the faith. We got We We're living in righteousness, but now we got to learn to be a little bit more holy, sisters and brothers. So now keep reading. Go ahead.

20. Go ahead. For when ye were the servants of sin, he said, "For when you were the servants of sin," go ahead. You were free from righteousness. Ye were free from righteousness. Go ahead. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? Go ahead. For the end of those things is death. If you go back and look at how you live back in the past, ain't you ashamed of those things? Boy, I said if I ever went back to my high school and to a high school reunion, I would repent to everybody that was in school on how I acted for the three years I was there.

I was a terror among terrorists because that's what I thought. I was a football player looking at Lawrence Taylor and all of that. So that's how I thought that I had to be just like them. So I owe a whole lot of people an apology. But they but but but of those things that I did in the past, I was ashamed of those things, sisters and brothers. So now verse 22, go ahead. But now being made free from sin, he said, but now being made free from sin, go ahead. And become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

And until the end, you going to get everlasting life. So now verse 23, go ahead and read. For the wages of sin is death. You better understand what it is. He said, "For the wages, wages is what you get paid." See, some of us we get wages. All of us we get wages through our jobs and where we work. But now you going to get paid in the end. Like he read in the opening scripture. He said, "Every man going to be rewarded as according as his work shall be." Now, so he said, "For the wages of sin is death." But now, go ahead and read.

But the gift of God is eternal life. Go ahead. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. That's what eternal life is, sisters and brothers. He said, "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Let's go to Romans the 8th chapter now. Romans 8. We just preparing us for the night, sisters and brothers. And everybody go in as hard as you can tonight for the Lord. Go in for him. So now, let's go to Revelations the 8th chapter. Revelations 8. I mean, I'm sorry. Romans 8. and 22. Romans 8:22. Go ahead. Romans 8.

Yeah. Romans 8 and 22. Go ahead. For we know that the whole creation grown up in developing pain together until now. Oh, and we just seen that. We seen that this week. Everybody hurt. Everybody going through it. People have forgotten about the war that was in the Ukraine and between Russia. Well, guess what? That war is still going on, sisters and brothers. They still fight right now. You still got all of the fighting that's going on in the Middle East right now. You still got all of that going on. You still got you got you got America and Russia, everybody going on.

And guess what? People are dying and people are crying about it. You got starvation all in the world and people are crying. So the whole creation is travailing in pain together run to now. So now verse 23, go ahead. And not only that, but ourselves also. Go ahead. Which had the first fruits of the spirit. He said, "But ourselves also which have the first fruits of the spirit." What did he say? Go ahead. Even we ourselves grown within ourselves. Sister brothers, we still going through it too. We still suffering. We know the joy of the Lord is our strength, but we got problems to deal with every day like everybody else do.

We just understand that when we go through these problems, we know who to turn to. Some other people might turn to drugs and they turn to heroin, but we turn to the Lord when we go through our affliction. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Waiting for the adoption to which the redemption of our body. Go ahead. For we are saved by hope. That's what we saved by. He said, "For we are saved by hope." Go ahead. But hope that is seen is not hope. Go ahead. For what a man seeth. Go ahead. Why does he yet hope for? Why you hoping for it?

And you already see, what it's going to be. What are you hoping for? You already know what the end result is going to be. What hope is in that? So now verse 25, go ahead. But if we hope for that we see not. Go ahead. Then do we with patience wait for it. Then he said, but if we wait for, he said, but if we hope for that we see not, then we do with patience wait for it. See, that's why you don't see it now because God is putting patience in you. And all of us can use a little bit more patience with people, with our situations.

The Lord had to put me with patience even with the class. We got to learn to be patient. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. 26. Likewise, the spirit also helpeth our infirmity. And we going to talk a little bit about that next. He said, likewise, the spirit also helpeth our infirmity. Sisters and brothers, go ahead. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought. Go ahead. But the spirit himself maketh of intercession for us. Go ahead. Which cannot be uttered. So you don't just think about it. We've read this before.

You praying to God all the time. While you praying to God for what you want, he listening to it. But guess what? You got Jesus also over there praying for something that you don't know that he praying for you for. Yes, sir. Because you don't know what you need. to go through in order to be stronger. You don't know what you need to go through in order for you to serve him a little bit more. You don't know that. That's why God put you through certain things. And you got to realize that. So he You might be praying for one thing, but then you got Jesus.

that's praying for something else. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 27. And he that searchth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the spirit because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. That's what he do now. He make intercess for the saints according to the will of God. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God. And we going to read a little bit about it next. We going to dive into Joel for a little bit. He said, "And we know that all things work together for good to him that love God."

Go ahead. for whom he did for adult. He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Go ahead. Moreover, whom he did predestin predestinate them he also called and whom he called them he also justified and whom he justified. Go ahead. Them he also glorified. Sisters and brothers. See, man get the honor, but God get the glory. But in the end, you going to get the glory. You going to get the spiritual body. So now verse 31. Go ahead. What shall we say then?

What shall we then say to these things? Go ahead. If God be before be before be for us, go ahead. Who can be against us? Think about that, sisters and brothers. If God be for us, then who can be against us? Who can be against you when God is for you? You can have anybody that hate you, hate what you are, hate your attitude or whatever. But you got to realize you can't please everybody in this world. You got to live for you. That's one thing that you got to learn for as being a servant of God. You ain't going to be able to please everybody.

You ain't You can't make everybody happy. It's impossible. But the one person you can make happy is the Lord, sisters and brothers. So now he said, if God before us, who can be against us? That's why I said, man, I don't care who don't like me. I'm gonna keep on walking with the Lord because I know what I'm gunning for and I know that can't nobody speak for me or against me when I stand before him when them books are open. That's period. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 32. Go ahead. He that spared not his own son. Go ahead.

But delivered him up for us all. Go ahead. How shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? Go ahead. It is God that justifyth. It is God that justified. Man can't justify you at all. He say it is God that justified. Go ahead. Who is he that condemnth? It is Christ that died. Who is he that condemn it? Now it is Christ that died. Who can talk against you? What lake of fire they going to be able to throw you in? Not one. They can say what they want against you, but they can't throw you in the lake of fire because it was Christ that died, sisters and brothers.

But now, but once he died, what else happened? Go ahead. Yay. Rather, that is that is risen again. Go ahead. Who is even at the right hand of God? Go ahead. Who also maketh intercession for us. Who also making intercession for us. We going to talk about this exclusively tomorrow. See, this lesson is to prepare you for for the Sabbath that's going to fall at sundown tonight. Because see, that's what Jesus is doing. He is also making intercessions for us. So now verse 35, go ahead and read. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Go ahead. Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or swore, go ahead. As it is written, for thy sake are we killed all the day long. Go ahead. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. We are counted asleep as sheep for the slaughter. That's what the true servants of God are. That's why he telling you, you going to have some persecution. You going to have some distress. You going to have some people that's going to take your name and everything about it and throw it in the ground.

But is that going to separate you from the love of Christ or are you going to keep going? He also talked about persecution. He talked about famine or nakedness or pearl or sword. He said, "For as it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep for the slaughter." But now, what did he say at verse 37? Go ahead. Next, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. We conquerors, sisters and brothers. That's what we are. We conquerors. We bigger than Alexander the Great.

What Mike Tyson say when he was in the ring? He said, "I'm Alexander the Great." He said that. He said, "They ain't got nothing on me." That's what he said. That's what we are once you got Christ on your side. He said, "For we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." Verse 38, go ahead. For I am persuasion that neither death nor life. He ain't saying you going to hurt because as a Christian, you going to cry sometime. He said, "For I I am persuaded that neither death go ahead. nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God.

Go ahead, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Nothing should be able to separate you from it, sisters and brothers. You got to be able to keep going. And that's what we going to deal with with Job. Now, let's go to Job the first chapter. We ain't read Job in a long time. Let's go back and read a little bit about Job. See, Job kept going when all this stuff was happening. See, sometime the Lord go put you through the exact same distress as Job with you as a servant of God, but that's what's going to make you stronger, sisters and brothers.

That's what's going to make you stronger. You can make everybody else around you strong, but who going to make you strong? Who going to chastise you when you do wrong? Who's going to pat you on the back when you do right? Sometimes that's even hard. You can't even get a fact a pat on the back for people when you do right sometimes. Sometimes people just against you and that's just what it is. But now let's go to the book of Job now. Job one. And we going to pick it up at verse one. We going to read one and two and we going to skip Job 1 and we going to pick it up at verse one.

Go ahead and read. There was a man in the land of ours whose name was Job. And that man was perfect and upright and one that feared God. Go ahead. and he isued evil. He assued evil. He turned away evil and the Lord said that he was perfect. Now, but if you go read about what Job said, I think it's in Job the 9th chapter. I think it's in Job 5 or Job 9 where he wouldn't even say that he was perfect. And he said if he was perfect, he wouldn't even led to his charge. He would put his hand over his mouth. So before anything was said, he told the Lord said that Job was a perfect man and upright.

He said, "One that feared God and assued evil." Verse two, go ahead. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. There was born unto him seven sons and three daughters. But now, let's skip down to verse six. and go ahead and read. Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord. Go ahead. And Satan came also among them. So now he So the sons of God in this case was talking about the holy angels, sisters and brothers. See those were the morning stars as well. So now the sons of God in this case was the holy angels.

But then he said, Satan came also among them. Verse seven, go ahead. And the Lord said unto Satan, which comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord and said, from going to and fro in the earth. Go ahead. And from walking up and down in it. That's what Satan do. He go to and fro in the earth, sisters and brothers. And he is walking up and down in it. And he is waiting to get you. I got the world. I got those that believe in different gods. I got the fornicators. I got all of those people. So, who am I trying to get?

I'm trying to get you. I'm trying to get those that's close to the Lord. Verse eight, go ahead. And the Lord said unto Satan, go ahead. Hast thou considered my servant Job? Why did he say he didn't? Why did the Lord say, "Well, why don't you just go try some Joe blow on the street?" Because he Satan already got there. But he said, "Has thou considered my servant Job?" Go ahead and read. That there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man. Go ahead. One that fearth God. Go ahead. And excuseth evil. Go ahead.

Then Satan answered the Lord and said, "Do Joe fear God for not? Hast not thou made in hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land." So you see what's going on, sisters and brothers. Do you see Job didn't have no problems at all? Everything was going well for him. So if it did, so but see it can't go that way all the time. See that's why that's why S said, "Ain't you made a hedge about it? Have you blessed all of the works of his hands?

Everything that Job set his hand to, God bless it." So he didn't have no challenges. He didn't have nothing to throw him off. He didn't have no nothing to come against him because he was living perfect in his generations. But now what did Satan say? Go ahead and read 11. But put forth thine hand now and touch all that he has. Go ahead. And he will curse thee to thy face. Because why did Satan say that? Because a lot of people do that. A lot of people love God, love God, love God until you touch what he had. till you touch their substance, until you touch their job or touch their children or touch a family member, then everything is okay.

But see, it can't go your way all the time. So Satan said say he he said, "But put forth thy hand now will touch all that he had, and he will curse thee that thy face." Verse 12, go ahead. And the Lord said unto Satan, go ahead. Behold, all that he have is in thy power only upon himself put not for thine hand. Go ahead. So, Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. So, he went forth from the presence of the Lord, sisters and brothers. So, now keep reading. Go ahead. And there came a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house.

And there came a messenger unto Job and said, "The arson were blind, and the ashes beating beside them." Go ahead. And the Sabians failed upon them, and took them away. Yay, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword, and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. Go ahead. While he was yet speaking, there came up also another and said, "The fire of the Lord is fallen from heaven and have burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed it, and I only have escaped alone to tell you." Sometimes I feel like bad news like this all the time.

Every time we do something good, there's always some bad news that come behind it. But see, God got to got to prepare you for that. You got to be prepared not only for the good, but you got to also be prepared for the bad. Yes, sir. You got to be also be prepared to get a little bit of evil that's going to happen to you as well. So, he is constantly just getting bad news after bad news. So, now verse 17, go ahead. While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, "The Calaldanss made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away.

Yay, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword, and I only escaped alone to tell thee." Go ahead. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, "Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house." Go ahead. And behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smoke the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they and they are dead. Go ahead. And I only am escaping alone to tell thee. So, he lost everything. But see, that's why, man, I'mma tell you, I be so afraid for my family.

If I hear my son cough one time or if I hear something my wife snow too hard and I sleep, I get up praying all the time. I'm thinking about them because I understand that. Hey, I ain't telling a did it. But but anyway, I I Hey, I'm always watching out for my family. I love my family. But see, you also got to be prepared that it could come a time that one of us could wake up in that house and we not there no more. See, that's why God is preparing you for all of this. You can love something so much and what if the Lord take it away from you?

Can you go on? Do you have the strength to go on? It will be entirely hard for me. But I know I got to keep going. That's why that that takes us back to neither death nor life nor angels nor persecution should be able to separate you from the love of God. He can touch one of your loved ones and take them away from you. That's why you got to be strong. in the Lord. People be can be playing patty cake patty cake all they want. You can't do that with God. You got to be able to g it up. So now keep reading elder. Go ahead.

20. Then Jo rose and wrench his mantle and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worship. That's what you got to do. He fell down upon the ground and worshiped. And this is what he said. Go ahead. 21. And said naked came I out of my mother's womb. Naked came out of my mother's womb. Go ahead. And naked shall I return. hither. Go ahead. The Lord gave. Go ahead. And the Lord has taken away. Go ahead. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Go ahead. And all this sin not. Go ahead. Lord charge God bully. You ain't even charged the Lord foolishly, sisters and brothers.

But what if you lose all that you have? What if you lose it? What if you lose one of your loved ones? You got to say the same thing. The Lord gave and the Lord take it away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen. But see, one thing, one thing, the people that I love is in this room right now. And and when you love these people, you don't want nothing to happen to them. But guess what? Someday at some time, we might be faced with it, sisters and brothers, and we got to move on. That's just what it is. But but but see, this is the other side of it.

If you said to this room, "We know you going to make it. We know you going to get eternal life." So now, let's go right off into Job 2. Now go into Job 2 and pick it up at verse one. Job 2 and1. So now keep reading. Go ahead again. There was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord. And Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. He always around, always trying to knock you off. Always trying to knock. It ain't no fun knocking everybody else off cuz he already got them.

But to get you to turn against God when you call yourself a believer, that's what he joys in. So now verse two, go ahead. And the Lord said unto Satan, from whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, one that feared God, and is skewed evil. And still he holdeth fast his integrity. He hold fast his integrity with everything that happened to him, sisters and brothers, he still held his integrity.

Go ahead and read. Although thou move against me, that moved me against him to destroy him without cause. Go ahead. And Satan answered the Lord and said, Skin for skin, yay, all that he have will he give for his life. Go ahead. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh. Go ahead. Yeah. And he shall curse things you like to he going to curse you to your face. That's what Satan said to him. Now see sometimes he got to touch you. Like think about me man. I haven't had I I I know I know the Lord had allowed Satan to buffet me.

I know I had to get chastised a little bit. The last time I had a serious injury was over 28 30 years ago. I never tore my knee. I tore my knee up in football back in 1998. That was the last serious injury that I had. So what happened then? I tore ligaments in my knee, then towed a rotator cuff in my shoulder and didn't have nothing happen to me before that. So God going to put you through some things to make you go through it. So what did he do? He touched my bone in my flesh. I got to have my wife help me put my shoes on.

Had to have my wife help me put my shirt on because I couldn't move my arm. I didn't have to deal with that. We've been perfectly healthy. So sometimes God got to touch you in order to get your attention on something. So he'll touch your bone and your flesh. That's what he did with Paul. So now let's Is that it? Okay. Let's let's go to Job 3 now. Let's go right into Job 3. And it ain't no good thing because because he gonna send you trouble, but you still got to serve God. Let's go. Yes, sir. Go into Job 3 and pick it up at verse one.

Go ahead. After this, open Job, his mouth, and cursed his day. Go ahead. And Job spake and said, "Let the day pass wherein I was born." Go ahead. In the night in which he it was said, "There is a man shall conceive." There's a man. Cuz see, man, Job ain't went through nothing like this before. Job didn't have to deal with none of this. So, at this point in time, man, Job probably wasn't thinking right at this time. He said, he said, "Let the day perish wherein I was born." and the night in which it was said there was a man child and see he even hated his birth at this time that he went through so much.

So no matter how much we went through we haven't all had to deal with this all at one time. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Let that day be darkness. Let not God regarded from above. Neither let the light shine upon it. Go ahead. Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it. Go ahead. Let a cloud dwell upon it. Let the blackness of the day terrify you. Let the black notice he ain't saying nothing about God now. He talking all about him. Was he saying nothing about God? He ain't cursed God one time, but he was talking about the day in where he was born, the day that he was conceived.

But notice he still didn't say nothing against God. So now skip down to verse verse 23. Verse 23 and go ahead. Why is life given to a man whose way is head and whom God had heads? Then for my sign cometh before I eat, and my groins are poured out like the water. Go ahead. For the things which I greatly fear is upon is come upon me. What if it come upon you? What about the things that you greatly feared have come upon you? That's why I tell people, man, with your family and your wife and your children, every day is special.

because you can wake up one day without them. That's why you ain't got time to argue with one another. It's time to love. That's why, man, I don't even go out of my house. I don't go out of my house cuz I don't need to. I got love for my son and my wife. And that's a rest haven right there. Because it's love in your home. That's what you want in your home. You want it to be the exact same way. So he said, he said, he said, "For my sign cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like water." He said, "For the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me."

Go ahead and read. "And that which I was afraid of is come unto me." Go ahead. I was not in safety. Neither had I rest. Neither was I quiet. Go ahead. Yet trouble came. And it's going to come on you as well. Trouble going to come on you as well. It's going to do the exact same thing. But guess what? You got to be able to endure, sisters and brothers. But now, let's go to Job 42. Because see, all things work together for good for those that know God. Amen. Let's go to Job 42. Let's show you what happened in the end.

See, the Lord blessed Job in this in this life. He didn't even wait to give him the spiritual body. He went through so much that I'm going to bless him right now while he alive. Job 42. And we going to pick it up at verse 10. Job 42 and 10. Go ahead, Elder. And the Lord turned the captivity of Job. He Job was in captivity to this. didn't have a chain on his arm, but he was in captivity to it. He said, "And the Lord turned the captivity of Job." Go ahead. When he prayed for his friend, go ahead. Also, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

So, let's stop right here. Let's go back and pay attention to this verse 10. Now, he said, "And the Lord turned the captivity of Job when when he prayed for his friends." Now, he could have easily hated his friends in his heart. He could have easily disliked them from all of the things that they put him through. But they didn't understand that. But he said Job still prayed for his friends. That's why you that's why I say don't hate the vessel. You got to hate the spirit that's behind the vessel. So Job prayed for his friends.

And he said, "And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." So now verse 11, go ahead. Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house, and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him. Every man also gave him a piece of money, and everyone an earring of gold. Go ahead. So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. For he had four 14,000 sheep and 6,000 camels and a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand she.

Go ahead. He had also seven sons and three daughters. He also gave him seven sons and three daughters. Now go ahead and read. And he called the name of the first Jamaima and the name of the second Kesiah and the name of the third Kuran Hapu. Good. Good. Go ahead. And and in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Jehovah. And these was probably serving the Lord too, sisters and brothers, because he named these sons and daughters by name. So the sons and the daughters that he had before, they was out there drinking wine and getting drunk and doing everything.

But in this case right here, he named these people by name, sisters and brothers. So now just that just that just kind of stuck out the pages to me. But now keep reading. Go ahead. And their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. Go ahead. After this live job in 140 years, and saw his sons and his sons sons even generations. See even after that he said he even he said and after this job lived 140 years that's not include the years that he had before he let him live 140 years that's why we saying wait on God if you go through something you don't know what's going to be the latter end of the result that's why you got to wait on it so now keep reading Elder go ahead 17 so Job died being old and full of days he lived a long time after all of that happened.

It's almost like he let Jo start all over again. So now let's let's go a little further now. Let's go to Psalms the 4th chapter. Let's deal with some Psalms for a minute. Let's go to Psalms 4. Psalms 4 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Psalms 4 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. You know, I got to a point now, man, I might had a game and have everything on. I still might be looking at the book while I'm watching preseason football. That's what we got to get to, sisters and brothers. And I'mma challenge every every brother that do that.

I'm I'm going add some in for for us brothers. Y'all know how we love our football and all that. Still keep reading because a lot of times we tend to slack off a little bit when this time of the year come. So, let's keep going hard now. Let's still put the Lord first. Let's go to Psalms 4 now. Psalms 4. And let's pick it up at verse one. Psalms 4 and1. Go ahead and read. Hear me when I call, Lord God of righteousness. Go ahead. Thou has enlarged me when I was in distress. Go ahead. Have mercy upon me. Go ahead. And hear my prayer.

So now notice, notice what he said right here, sisters and brothers. He said, "Hear me when I call, oh God, of of my righteousness." He said, "Thou has enlarged me when I was in stress." That mean he added to you. That means he added to your understanding. That means that he added to your faith. That means that he added to your righteousness. That's what enlargement mean. So he was enlarged when he was in distress. When you in distress, that's what make you stronger, sisters and brothers. That's what that's where you get your true strength from.

That's why when you read off in Ecclesiastes, he said, "Be joyful in the days when everything going good. But you got to also remember the days of darkness because it's going to be many of them. But all of those days that come to you," he said, they going to all be vanity. But now verse two, go ahead. Oh ye sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? Go ahead. How long will ye love vanity and seek after least? Go ahead. But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself. He set him apart.

Now when you holy, God going to set you apart from the crowd. He said, "But know that the Lord has set apart him that is godly for himself." Go ahead and read. The Lord will hear when I call unto him. Go ahead. Standing off. Go ahead and send not. That's what the book said. Now he says, "Standing off and sin not." Go ahead and read. Commune with your own heart upon your bed. When you lying in your bed, commune in your heart about what you got to do with your life for the Lord. You know what you got to do with your finances and your rent.

You know, bills that got to be paid. You know, grandmother or grandsons and granddaughters and that we got to take care of. We know those things. But when you laying on your bed, you need to learn what do I need to do to please you more? Because when you lie down, that's when Satan come at you the most. When you rested, when you laying in your bed, what are you thinking about before you go to bed, that's probably what you going to think about when you wake up, uh when you dream that night? Because dreams come through a multitude of business.

So when you laying on your bed, you communing in your own heart. And then he said, "Be still." So now keep reading. Go ahead. Say, "Lot, offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord." Go ahead. There be many that say, "Who will show us any good?" Lord, lift lift up thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Go ahead. Thou hast put gladness in my hearts more than in the time that their their corn and their wine increase. That's what people do. You know, they get a little more extra money.

They be a little happy. You know, I watched that little that little skit with Truski where he was playing the preaching where he got the money at the end. He was laying on the couch counting the money when everybody was leaving out. So, you know, but see what he said, thou has put gladness in my heart more than in the time that their corn and their wine increase. Once you get the the the knowledge of God in your heart, that's what really supposed to give you your gladness and your joy. So now verse eight, this what a lot of people in the word of God, even in our class, we got people struggling, sisters and brothers, and we got to be there for them.

So now read that verse eight. Go ahead and read. I will both lay me down in peace. Go ahead and sleep. Go ahead. For thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in s. Because if you try to do it on your own, you going to go to bed every night feeling in distress. But he said, "Lord, lay me down and sleep in peace." That's what I did last night. Lord, give me peace to my soul. I prayed for it. Give me peace. of mind. That's what you got to praise. That I will both lay me down in peace and sleep. For thou, Lord only makest me to dwell in safety.

So now, let's go to Psalms 26. Psalms 26 now. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. Psalms 26. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. We talking about being a servant. Now, being a servant, these are the things that you got to do. Psalms 26. And we going to pick it up at one. Psalms 26 and1. Go ahead and read. Judge me, oh Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. He said, "Judge me, oh Lord, for I have walked in my integrity." Who else walked in their integrity? We just read that. Job walked in his integrity. He said, "Although you movest thou against me," he still walked in his integrity toward the Lord.

So now he said, "Judge me, oh Lord, for I have walked in mine integrity." Go ahead. I have trusted also in the Lord. Therefore, I shall not slide. Go ahead. Examine me, oh Lord, and prove me. Go ahead. Try my reign and my heart. That's what you want from the Lord. We read this in a lesson not too long ago. Now, he said, "Examine me, oh Lord, and prove me. Try my hearts and my reign." Sometimes that's what you need cuz you might be walking wrong. You might be doing something against God that you don't know that you're doing.

You might be falling off the wagon and you don't know that. So he said, "Examine me, oh Lord, and prove me." He said, "Try my ways and my hearts." Verse three, go ahead. For thy loving kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth. I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissimilar. Go ahead. I have hated the congregation of evildoers and will not sit with the wicked. I will wash my hands in innocency. So will I compass thine altar, oh Lord. Go ahead. That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works.

That's what you want with the Lord. You want the Lord to examine you. and you want to go ahead on if you doing something bad, go ahead on and take it whoop it like a man and get it over with it like a woman. Go ahead and take it and get it over with because you know it's coming. But see, if you don't get that whooping, you might be straying away so far that you don't even know where you're going no more. So now let's get back to the faithful servant. Let's go to St. John 17 and let's go deal with Jesus, sisters and brothers.

Let's go to St. John 17 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 17 and one. Let's get back to being the faithful servant, sisters and brothers, because we want to be faithful with them. We want to be faithful and we want to serve. That's our job. And once you do it, then you have to do you have to say, "I've done all what God has already commanded me to do. I supposed to be doing this anyway. St. John 17 and let's pick it up at verse one. 17 and1. Go ahead. These words spake Jesus and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come.

Glorify thy son that thy son also may glorify thee." Go ahead. As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. Go ahead. And this is life eternal. So now he said this is life eternal. Go ahead. That they might know thee, the only true God. Go ahead. In Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent. Go ahead. I have glorified thee on the earth. He said, I've glorified thee on the earth. Go ahead. I have finished the work of which thou has gavest me to do. That's what you want to do.

You want to finish. Look what Jesus did. He finished. He finished his course. He finished it. He said, "I've glorified thee on the earth." He glorified thee by healing the sick, raising the dead. That's how he glorified the father. But now he said, he said, he said, "I've glorified thee on the earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. I've been a faithful servant unto you, father." Go ahead and read. And now, oh father, glorify thou me with thine own self, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

See, I want that glory again. I'm getting ready to come back up there with you, Lord. We going to be kicking it all day long the way that we used to. So I want you to give me this glory back. Give me the glory that I had with thee before the world was when there was no glory at all. So now go ahead and read six. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world. Go ahead. Thine they were and thou gavest them me and they have kept thy word. Go ahead. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

All of these are of you, Father. Go ahead. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee. Go ahead. And they have believed that thou didest send me. Go ahead. I pray for them. He said, I pray for them. Go ahead. I pray not for the world. But I pray not for the world now. Because see Jesus getting ready to go back to his glory now. So think about why Jesus made such a statement. He said I pray for them. I pray not for the world.

Go ahead and read. But for them which thou has given me. See the father had gave him the disciples. Sisters and brothers. Yes sir. The father gave him all of the people that believed in him. Go ahead and read. For they are thine and all thine all mine are thine and thine are mine. Go ahead. I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world. And I come to thee, holy father, keep through thine own name those whom thou has given me. Go ahead. That they may be one as we are. That we are one.

That's why we can't have no schisms in the body, sisters and brothers. We got to be on one accord at all time. So now let's go to Isaiah 53 real quick. Let's show you what Jesus got for being faithful. Let's go now to Isaiah 53. Isaiah 53 and we going to pick it up at verse 8. Isaiah 53 and we going to pick it up at verse eight. We only got about five more after this. Let's go to Isaiah 53 and we going to pick it up at verse eight. Isaiah 538. Let's show you his reward. We've been talking about rewards all day. God going to reward us in the end.

Yes, he is. So, let's show you what reward we going to get. what what he going to give Jesus first. Now, let's go to Isaiah 53 and we going to pick it up at verse eight. Isaiah 53 and8. So, now would you get there? Go ahead and read. He was taken from prison and from judgment. And who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgressions of my people was he stricken. Go ahead. And he made his grave with the wicked. Go ahead. with the rits in his death because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Go ahead. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him. He hath put him to grief where thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin. So I just want to stop right here. Now he said, "Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him." out. So basically it it pleased the Lord to bruise him because we read in Romans that he didn't even spare his only son that he gave his son for the sins of the people. He said yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him. He had did what to him also. This was the big one. He had put him to grief. Then he put Job to grief.

God gonna put you to grief too. You going to grieve sometimes. Sometimes you going to cry. Go ahead and read. He shall see his seed. He shall prolong his days. And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Go ahead. He shall see of the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied. By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many. Go ahead. For he shall bear their iniquity. Go ahead. Therefore will I divide a portion of portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he have poured out his soul unto death, and he was numbered with the transgressors, and he bear the sin of many.

Go ahead. And made intercession for the transgressors. And he also made intercessions for the transgressors. Sisters and brothers, let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to St. Matthew 25. You should have a marker there. Let's go back to St. Matthew 25 and we go pick it up at verse 24 this time. Say Matthew 25 and we go pick it up at verse 20 uh uh uh 24. 25 and 24. Uh St. Matthew 25 and 24. So now we going to go back to the one that had the one talent. When you get there, go ahead. Go ahead, Elder. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man.

reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not straw. Go ahead. And I was afraid. And when hid thy talent in the earth, lo, there thou hast that is done. He said, "There go a go where your money is. Your money over there in the earth. At least I didn't steal it. The money you gave me, I took it and I hid it in the earth. So there it is. So you go over there and go get it." That's basically what he said to the Lord. But what did he say back to him? Go ahead. This we reading about the slo servant right here.

the ones that don't want to work for God. Keep reading. Go ahead. The Lord answered and said unto him that wicked and soulful servant. You don't want them words to come out of the Lord mouth, don't you don't want to be called wicked and sloful, do you? He called him a wicked and a sloful servant. Go ahead. Thou kneest that I reap where I s not. Go ahead. And gather where I have not st. Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchange. You should have just gave the money to the to the people that was selling.

Now he said, "Thou artest therefore to have put my money to the exchanges." Go ahead and read. And then at my coming I should have received my own. I would have received mine ownusy. So now verse 28, go ahead. Take therefore the talent from him and give it and give unto him which have 10 talent. Take this talent and give it unto him that have 10 talents. Go ahead. For unto you everyone that have shall be given, and he shall have abundant. Go ahead. But for him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he have.

So I'm going to take away even that which you have when you lazy. Now he said, for unto everyone that that has shall be given, and ye shall have abundance, but from him that have not shall be taken away even that which he had. So now what's going to happen? Verse 30. Go ahead. and cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness. Go ahead. There shall be weeping and nashing of teeth. That's when it's all over, sisters and brothers. There shall be weeping and nashing of teeth when you don't do what God tell you to do.

That's what he telling you, sisters and brothers. So now, let's go back to the Old Testament real fast because we just read about what Jesus was going to be king. So now let's go to 1st Samuel the 8th chapter. 1st Samuel 8 and we going to go read about when Israel wanted a king. Now because see Israel was a very sloful service and we going to show you how soulful this king was to the fact that he had even got killed. But let's go to 1st Samuel the 8th chapter. 1st Samuel 8 and we going to pick it up at verse one. When you get there, go ahead and read, elder.

And it came to pass when Samuel was old that he made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel and the name of his second Abaya. They were judges in Bea. Go ahead. And his sons walked not in his way. Boy, that is a bad thing to hear. Well, think about our children. That's why I say we would those that are raising children in the Lord, be thankful for that. If you raising them in the Lord, whether they young or old, you got to be thankful for that because they could go the other way. He said, "And his sons walk not in his ways."

But what did they do? Go ahead. But turn the side at the Luther and took bribes and perverted judgment. Then all the elders of Israel gathered together themselves together and came to Samuel unto Rama, and said unto him, "Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy way." You see how they always throw the old people away? Once they start getting a little old, they start they start throwing them away. Now, he said unto him, he said, "But behold, thou art old and thy sons walk not in thy ways." Go ahead now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

So that's what they wanted. Israel always want that. He said unto him, he he said, "Behold, thou art old and thy sons walk not in thy ways." He said, "Now make us a king to judge us like all the other nations." But now let's skip down to verse 10. because see God gonna tell him to do that. He gonna tell Samuel to hearken to all of the things that the people asked him to do. So now 1st Samuel 8 and pick it up at verse 10. Go ahead. And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, "This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you.

He will take your sons and appoint them for himself for his chariots and to be his horsemen and some shall run before his chariots. Go ahead. And he will appoint him captains of a thousands and captains of 50s and will set them to ear his ground and to reap his harvest and to make his instruments of war. Go ahead. And instruments of his chariots. and he will take your daughters to be con confectionaries and to be cooks and to be bankers. So that's what he getting ready to do with all your children. He fa to put them to work.

But he fa to put them to work for his own selfish greed. Now so now verse 14, go ahead. And he and he would take your fields and your vineyards and your olive, even the best of them, and give it to his servants. And he will take the tip of your seat and of your vineyards and give to his officers and to his servants. Go ahead. And he will take your man's ser men's servants and your main servants and your goodliest young men and your asses and put them to his work. And what else is he going to do? Keep reading. Go ahead.

He will take the tip of your sheep and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day before because of your king which ye shall have chosen you. And the Lord will not hear you in that day. I ain't going to hear you in that day. That's what you wanted. You wanted a king to be over you. So this king that's over you right now, he going to do all of these things to you and go do all of these things to your children. Now, so now what else happened? Keep reading. Go ahead. 19. Nevertheless, the people refuse to obey the voice of Samuel.

And they said, "Nay, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles." Uh, go ahead and read. Keep keep reading. Go ahead. 21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the Lord. Go ahead. And the Lord said to Samuel, "Harken unto their voice, and make them a king." And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, "Go ye every man unto his city." He said, "Go ye every man even unto his city."

So, let's show you what happened to their king. Let's go to 1st Samuel the 31st chapter. 1st Samuel 31. And we going to pick it up at verse one. We only got two more spots after this. Let's go to 1st Samuel 31 and we are going to pick it up at verse one. 1st Samuel 31 and we go pick it up at verse one. Let's show you what happened to their king. Sisters and brothers, let's show you what happened to them. Uh 1st Samuel 31 and verse one. Go ahead, Elder. Now the Philistines fought against Israel and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines and fell down slain and mount.

And the Philistines fallen hard upon Saul and upon his sons. And the Philippines slew Jonathan and Abinad. Good. And Melisure. Good. Saul's son. Good. Go ahead. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the orchards hit him, and he was sore wounded of the orchard. Go ahead. Then Saul, Then said Saul unto his own barrier. Draw thy swore and thrust me through. There went, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through and abused me. But his armor bearer would not. But he was so afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword and fell upon it.

Saul committed suicide. Sisters and brothers. Saul can't repent another of the sins that he did because God already took him out. See that's one sin that you can't repent for it. Why? Because you already gone. You didn't have time to repent. So now he So Saul took a sword and fell upon it. Verse five, go ahead. And when his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, go ahead. He fell likewise upon his sword. Go ahead. And died with him. And then the armor bear he even killed himself. Go ahead. Six. So Saul died and his three sons and his armor buried and all his men that same day together he killed all of them sisters and brothers and even in the midst of that he even caused one righteous man to die and that was Jonathan sisters and brothers even he had died.

So now let's go to St. Matthew 31 now St. Matthew 31 I mean St. Matthew 25 and let's pick it up at verse 31. St. Matthew 25 and we go pick it up at verse 31. We get ready to read about the right throne judgment. Sisters and brothers, now we getting ready to read about the real king. The king that's going to sit on that throne and he is going to judge in righteousness, sisters and brothers. That's what he going to do. This is the judge right here. St. Matthew 25 and pick it up at verse 31. 25 and 31. Go ahead and read.

When the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. Then he shall sit upon the throne of his glory. Now, this is the real king, not that Saul king, but now verse 32, go ahead. And before him shall be gathered all nations, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goat. That's what he going to do. He going to bring all nations, sisters and brothers. He ain't just going to bring one nation. He said all nations.

I would just bring Israel and just judge them and take the other nations and go ahead and put them in the fire. But see, Jesus did not say that because Jesus is the God of all people. All nations. Just to kind of take a pause for the cause a little bit. It's a whole lot of racism going on in the world right now. You got people that's being hung out in the media. And then you got people down in Mississippi, the black people that's arming themselves to start a race war. See, all of this is going on in the world trying to turn man against man.

But we read, if you go read in Matthew the 24th chapter, that the love of many shall wax soul in the end. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 33. And he shall set the sheep on the his right hand, but the goats on the left. Go ahead. Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, come ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Go ahead. For I was in hunger and ye gave meat. I was thirsty and ye gave me drink. I was a stranger and ye took me in. Go ahead. Naked and ye clothed me.

I was sick and ye visited me. I was in prison and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee and hungered, and fed thee, or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in, or naked, and clothe thee? Go ahead. Or when saw wee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee. So now you're asking the Lord all of these questions now because you weren't here. But see, we was doing all of these things to other people. And Jesus going to tell him that. Verse 40.

Go ahead. And the king shall answer and say unto them, verily I say unto you, I say, in so much as ye have done it un unto one of the least of these, my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Go ahead. Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire. Prepare for the devil and his angels." You don't want no part of this, sisters and brothers. You don't want to deal with this. You don't want to say, "Depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire. Prepare for the devil and his angels."

So now he going to tell you why you are going to the lake of fire. Verse 42, go ahead. For I wasn't hungry and ye gave me no meat. I was thirsty and ye gave me no drink. I was a stranger and you took me not in. Naked and ye clothed me not. Sick and in prison and ye visited me not. You weren't doing nothing. You was a slothful servant. Verse 44. Go ahead. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when we saw thee in hunger or a thirst or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not mention unto thee, go ahead.

Then shall he answer them, saying, "Verily, I say unto you, if as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." Go ahead. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment. Go ahead. But the righteous into life eternal. That's where the righteous going to go. See, this is the white throne judgment. This is the end of the line. But then if you go back and read at the beginning of St. Matthew the 25th chapter. If you if you did what all God told you to do, he go he gonna say his Lord said unto him, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

That's what you want, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So, now let's go to the last spot. Let's go to St. John the 15th chapter. Now, we going to pick it up at verse 7. St. John 15. And we going to pick it up at verse 7. Jesus going to be dealing with us like we deal with one another, sisters and brothers. The same way the brothers and the sisters get together and eat together and talk and have a good time. That's what Jesus gonna say to us when we are in the kingdom. So now let's go to St. St. John 15. I'm in St. Luke.

Let's go to St. John 15 and pick it up at verse 7. Go ahead, Elvis. If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you. Here is my father's glorified that ye bear much fruit. Go ahead. So shall ye be my disciples. So once you get that five talents and you gain 10, he wants you to bear fruit. Now he said, "Herein is my father glorified that you bear much fruit. So shall ye be my disciples. You as disciples, when you are bearing fruit, sisters and brothers." Yes, sir.

So now you adding to what God has already given you. So now verse nine, go ahead. As the father have loved me, so have I loved you. Continue ye in my love. And I wanted to end with this, sisters and brothers. We got to continue in the in the love of the Lord for one another and each other. Now, so now keep reading verse 10. Go ahead. If you keep my commandments, go ahead. You shall abide in my love. He said, if you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love. Go ahead. Even as I have kept my father's commandments and abide in his love.

Go ahead. These things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment that you love one another. Go ahead. As I have loved you. And that's why he said, "This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you." So now, let's show you the greatest love. Go ahead. Greater love hath no man than this. Go ahead. That a man lay down his life for his friends. Go ahead. Ye are my friends. If you do whatsoever I command you, that's when you his friends.

Now, when you do whatsoever he commands you, he commanded Noah to build a ark. What did Noah do? He went out and he build it. That was a commandment that he gave you. So, now keep reading. Go ahead. Therefore, I call you not serving. So, this is going to be a time he ain't going to call you a servant no more. See, right now, we reading about the faithful servant. But once you get the spiritual body, you going to upgrade a little bit. You going to have a greater job. So now he say, "Herefors I call you not servants."

Go ahead and read. For the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth. Go ahead. But I have called you friends for all things that I have heard of my father. I have made known unto you. Go ahead. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye should go and bring forth fruit. Go ahead. And that your fruit should remain. You better hear what he's saying. Now, you didn't choose the Lord, but he chose you and he ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain.

Go and read. That whatsoever ye ask in of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you that ye love one another. Go ahead. If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. Go ahead. If ye were of the world, the world will love his own. They will love you if you was of the world, sisters and brothers. If you were of the world, the world will love his own. Go ahead. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, go ahead. They will also persecute you. So we just want to throw this out here, sisters and brothers. But those that's dealing with a little persecution. He said, "The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you." Go ahead and read. If they have kept my sake, go ahead. They will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin. But now they have no cloak for their sins. They have no excuse. Go ahead. He that hateth me hateth my father also. If I had not done among them the work which none other men did, they had not had sin. Go ahead. But now they But now have they both seen and hated both me and my father. But now let's read this. verse 25. What did it say, Elder? Go ahead. But this cometh to pass. He said, "But this cometh to pass." Go ahead. That the word might be fulfilled.

Go ahead. As written in their law. Go ahead. They hated me without a cause. They hated Jesus without a cause, sisters and brothers. And that is his Lord said unto him, "Well done, good and faithful servant." And we hope you got some understanding in Jesus name.
