The Atonement, The Eternal Sacrifice of Christ

Okay y'all, we going to proceed with our Sabbath script. We want to welcome everybody out. But one thing I want to take a little time out before before we get into this lesson today, sisters and brothers. Like we all know that we are dealing with the day of atonement. This is the day that the Lord came that he had died for the sins of the people. And this is also the time that he arose, sisters and brothers, to make intercessions for the people. So anything that you have going on in your life, any struggles that you have, this is the time that you take it to the Lord.

Yes, sir. So one theme that I want to have with this day of atonement is forgiveness, sisters and brothers. So I kind of want to make a confession of myself that this is the one thing sisters and brothers that over the years that I struggled to deal with once I I had a problem with forgiving people that has hurt me in the past. And I want to confess that because one thing that the Bible wants us to do is to touch and agree. So one thing that we have to understand that if you don't forgive people for the wrong that they have done to you or you don't or you or or for the wrong that you have done to other people that your salvation can be on the line.

So one thing that I prayed for to the Lord is open open my heart to forgive those that have hurt me in the past and also for those to forgive me who I've hurt because that's what this Bible is all about. Because see, you don't have no forgiveness in your heart, then that's a direct way for Satan to come into your life is when you don't forgive people, sisters and brothers. And I struggled with that over the years. And this is one thing that I took to the Lord in in in my personal fast. But now, let's go to St. Matthew the 6th chapter.

We going to deal with the high Sabbath, but let's go to St. Matthew the 6th chapter because I want everybody to read this. and then we gonna get into the lesson. Let's go to St. Matthew the 6th chapter. St. Matthew 6. And this going to be our Sabbath scripture today. We going to switch it up a little bit. Let's go to St. Matthew 6. And I want to pick it up at verse 14 because this what we this is what we ask the Lord for every time that we do the Lord's Prayer. But one thing that we have to do is we got to exercise it.

Sisters and brothers, you cannot allow Satan to stay in your mind and in your heart for not forgiving others when they do you wrong. And you gonna have people that's gonna do you wrong, but you got to also forgive them, sisters and brothers. So now let's go to St. Matthew 6. And I want to pick it up at verse 14. When you get there, Rea, go ahead and read. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you. So this is what God is saying, sisters and brothers. And this is one thing that we got to exercise in our life.

And this was one weakness that I had that I want to confess before the class. I had a problem forgiving people when they did me wrong because I because especially when I came into the covenant because when I came into the covenant, I never expected for those to be some people that maybe do you wrong. But what you got to understand is you dealing with people that are flesh and blood. And everybody is going to make mistakes toward one another because see, I've made mistakes to other people as well. So now he said in verse 14, he said, "If you forgive me in their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you.

But now let's show you the consequences for not forgiving people." So now verse 15, go ahead. But if you forgive not men their trespasses, go ahead. Neither will your father forgive your trespasses. So if you do not forgive men their trespasses, things that they do for you, he said, "Neither will your father forgive your t your trespasses." So now what are you doing the day of atonement for? You doing this day of atonement for God to forgive everything that you did wrong to him. So you want God to forgive you for it.

That's why we taking this day of atonement. Yes. Because you want to be forgiven. But in order for you to be forgiven, you got to forgive people when they do things wrong to you. You can't leave it around. You can't harvest it in your heart and in your spirit. You got to let it go. And that was one thing I I I strugg I I struggled with that. All right. Verse 16. Go ahead. Moreover, when ye fast, be not as the hypocrites. He said, when you fast, he said, be not as the hypocrites. Go ahead. Of a sad countenance, for they disfigure the faces, that they may appear unto men to fast.

Go ahead. Verily, I say unto you, go ahead. They have their reward. They going to have their reward now. But now notice what he want you to do when you fast. So now he wants you to pick it up. He wants you to be happy about it. So now verse 17, go ahead. But now when thou fast, he said, but thou when thou fastest, go ahead and read. Anoint thy head. Go ahead. And wash thy face. That's what God want you to do now. See, in the past, they will put the sackcloth and they will rip their clothes off. But see, Jesus, he come, he came and did away with that because when you fast now, he want you to do it in secret.

But now, what did he say at verse 18? Go ahead. That thou appear not unto men to fast. Go ahead. But unto thy father which is in secret. Go ahead. And thy father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. He going to reward thee openly, sisters and brothers. So I want to welcome everybody to have a happy day of atonement. Get all the things that's bogging you down out of you sisters and brothers. So now I want to praise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. and peace to everyone here in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

I want to say happy high Sabbath, happy day of atonement to the firstborn and also those that's watching us via live Facebook and YouTube live. We also want to say happy day of atonement to you as well. So also I want to say happy day of atonement to the brotherhood and the sisterhood. You know you know everybody take your problems to the Lord. Take any infirmity that you have to the Lord. Anything that you struggling with, this is the time for you to take it to the Lord. Because this day right here, Jesus is taking it directly to the father himself, sisters and brothers.

Yes, sir. So now, for those that do not understand, we are observing the day of atonement today. And what this day represents, sisters and brothers, you go through all of the feast days. You go through the Passover, you go through unleaven bread, and then we deal with Pentecost. And we know that Jesus is going to come in the year of Pentecost. And all of these days represents the salvation of man. But also God give you two times a year to truly atone for sin. You get the Passover and then the Lord get you again in the seventh month in the day of atonement where you atone for your sins.

So, not only do you pray to the Lord every day and you repent to him to forgive you of your sins, but it's one day in that year that he goes directly to the father and he takes all your petitions, all your supplications to the Lord on that one day. And that day is the day, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So, the title of the lesson is the atonement. The eternal sacrifice of Christ. Why do we say the eternal sacrifice of Christ? Because at this time Jesus came and died for the people that was in the Old Testament or the first testament and he came and also died for the people that was in the New Testament.

And once Jesus come back and sit on the throne, he's still going to be forgiven sin, sisters and brothers. But what Jesus did, he came once. He came and gave his body for the sins of the people one time that the animals that was killed that was under the first testament that we don't have to do those things no more. So when Jesus died on the cross he rose sisters and brothers and when he rose and sat down on the right hand of the father his his body is the veil now. So in order to get close to the father you got to go through the veil and the veil represent him.

And once you go through that veil, he gonna tell you, "Hey, this sister right here was dealing with this. This brother was dealing with this." And he is asking for forgiveness for it. And guess what the father do? The father say, "Right on, son. We got you. We going to forgive him for it." So that's what this day represent. So now, let's start the lesson out in First John 2. And we going to pick it up at verse one. And I And I And that was sincere, sisters and brothers. what I said because I said, "Lord, show me where I'm going wrong with you."

He said, "Boy, you mean iter than a snake. Somebody do you wrong, you don't want to forgive nobody. And you got to learn to do those things in order for you to go forward as a pastor." So now, let's go to First John 2. and we going to pick it up at verse one. When you get there, my beautiful loving elder, go ahead and read. mind of the children these things right I unto you go ahead that ye sin not so notice what he said now because like we have covered in other lessons we are all children when it come to the Lord sisters and brothers no matter how old we are he said my little children these things right I unto you that you sin not so now go ahead and read and if any man see so now just in case if you fall off the wagon unintentionally rather because this ain't talking about seeing it on purpose He said if any man sin that's when you sin in ignorance.

Now what did he say? Go ahead. We have an advocate with the father. Go ahead. Jesus Christ the right. That's who you go to sisters and brothers once you sin. See that's what this day is talking about. That's what this day represent. We going right to Jesus and Jesus is going to the father. But now verse two. Go ahead. And he is propitiation for our sins. He is the propitiation for our sins. Sisters and brothers. That's the ultimate sacrifice. He is the propitiation for our sins. Go ahead and read. And not for ours only.

Go ahead. But also for the sins of the whole world. Jesus died for everybody. We read that yesterday. It don't matter what nation you are. See, that's where Israel dropped the ball at the physical seed of Abraham. They think that the only people that God is going to save is them. But once you take the veil off of your eyes, you going to understand that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. And we going to point that out a little bit later. Jesus came to save everybody. So now let's go to First John 3.

And we going to pick it up at verse one because we talking about sin, sisters and brothers. Jesus nailed sin to the cross. That's what he nailed to the cross. And we going to point that out a little bit later. That's what he nailed to the cross. He did not necessarily nail animal sacrifice to the to the cross because technically Jesus still making sacrifices today, but he nailed sin to the cross. And we going to point that out a little later. But now, first John 3. And we going to pick it up at verse one. First John 3 and 1.

Go ahead. Behold what matter of love the father have bestowed upon us. Go ahead. That we should be called the sons of God. So now notice what he said here. He said, "What manner of love the father had bestowed upon us now that we should be called the sons of God." He's talking about right now, sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. Therefore, the world knoweth us not. Go ahead. Because they knew him not. So don't be surprised at people, man, that person over there, they act strange. They act weird a little bit. That's how it is.

Because Jesus has separated you from the world. He has sanctified you from the world. Once you get this love of God in your heart, you ain't going to be like everybody else no more. Everybody going to view you as being weird. But now verse two, go ahead, beloved. Now are we the sons of God. Go ahead. And it does not yet appear what we shall be. So it don't appear what we shall be. We do not have the spiritual body yet. That's what we going to get in the end. And that's what we going to get in the resurrection. But you sons of God, now if you walking like the ultimate sacrifice of Christ, he is gonna do it for you right now, sisters and brothers.

But now, keep reading. Go ahead. But we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we will see him as he is. Go ahead. And every man that hath this hope in him purifith himself. Go ahead. Even as he is pure. And you got to purify yourself, sisters and brothers. See, that's what a fast really does. See, that's like the ultimate sacrifice. That's the ultimate purification because you purifying your body. You purifying your mind to the word of God. Sisters and brothers. That's why he said, "And every man that had this hope in himself purifith himself even as he is pure."

But now, let's switch gears for a little second. Let's pick it up at verse four. Go ahead. Whosoever committh sin transgresseth also the law. Go ahead. For sin is the transgression of the law. And we all read this before, sisters and brothers. It's the biblical definition of sin. And what we do, we rightfully divide the scriptures. So if the Bible tells you that this is the definition of sin, then that is what it is, sisters and brothers. Amen. He said, "Whosoever committed sin, transgressing also the law. For sin is the transgression of the law."

So now verse five, go ahead. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sin. Go ahead. And in him is no sin. Was no sin in him at all. Sisters and brothers, that's why they call Jesus the holy one of Israel because he didn't have no sin in him at all. So Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. But that we going to show you that the bloods of fools and goats could not remove that. So Jesus had to become man to die for the sins of the people. That's why he said at the beginning of verse five that you know that he was manifest to take away our sins.

He was manifest that means stepped on the sand. He stepped on the scene to take away sin. Sisters and brothers, verse six, go ahead. Whosoever abideth in him sinnth not. If you abide in him, you don't sin at all, sisters and brothers. Whosoever abidth in him sinnth not. Go ahead and read. Whosoever sinnth hath not seen him. Go ahead. Neither known him. Neither have known him. Go ahead. Little children, let no man deceive you. Once again, he called you little children. out. He said, "Little children, let no man deceive you."

Go ahead and read. He that doeth righteousness is righteous. Go ahead. Even as he is righteous, Go ahead. He that committeth sin is of the devil. So now, if you walking around willfully sinning and you going against the commandments of God, he said, "He that committeth sin is of the devil." Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. For the devil sinnth from the from the beginning. For the devil sinned from the beginning. Go ahead. For this purpose the son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.

That's the reason why he was manifest sisters and brothers to destroy the prince of the power of the air. And he be everywhere sisters and brothers. But he came to take away that. So now let's go a little bit further. Now let's go to Romans the third chapter. Let's go to Romans 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 23. Let's show you that everybody done fell short, sisters and brothers. When the Lord had the power to kill all of us, he forgave us for what we did. So now, let's go to Romans 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 23.

And we going to show you that the whole world has fallen off the wagon, sisters and brothers. But Jesus made it as a point for you to come back and save yourself. So he ain't going to do it for you. Jesus came and died for you, but it's left to you to save yourself from this unto generation. So now, Romans 3 and pick it up at verse 23. Go ahead and read. For all have sinned. Go ahead. And come short of the glory of God. All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Sisters and brothers, all of us have fell off the wagon.

So he said, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." But now verse 24, go ahead. being justified freely by his grace. But now you justified freely by his grace, sisters and brothers. He said being justified freely by his grace. Go ahead and read. Through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Go ahead. Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood. Go ahead. To declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed. Go ahead. Through the forbearance of God. So I don't know about y'all sisters and brothers, but I need this day of atonement.

I needed like when I talked to the Lord about one thing that I had to get out of my heart, I had to learn to forgive more. I said, "Lord, get it all out of me. It got to go." So in order for me to go forward, I got to learn to get those things out of me and you do as well. So now he said in verse 25, he said, "Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation now through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness for the remissions of sins that are passed." So once you take this atonement today, whatever sins you have committed, they are all gone, sisters and brothers, they are all gone.

He said through the forbearance of God. Verse 26, go ahead. To declare, I say at this time his righteousness, that he might be just. Go ahead. And the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. He going to be the justifier of him which believe in Jesus. Sisters and brothers, the ones that truly believe and believe in his word. So now let's go a little further. Now let's go back and show you when sin entered into the creation. Let's go to Genesis the third chapter. Genesis 3. And we going to pick it up at verse one.

We going to show you when the prince of the power stepped on the scene. The prince of the power of the air that be everywhere. But see the Lord be everywhere too. Sisters and brothers. We got to understand that you got the power to cast anything down that you want. But you got to cast it down. Yes sir. You got to cast it out of you. certain little small means that you don't think about like I talk about all the time, you know, about cussing, things like that, using using profanity and things of that nature. You got to get that out of you, sisters and brothers.

Point blanket period cuz you still got them demons still stuck in your vocal cords and you got to get them out. So now let's go to Genesis 3. Genesis 3 now and we going to pick it up at verse one. Genesis 3 and 1. Go ahead and read. Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field. We all know who the serpent is, sisters and brothers. We all know that the serpent is none other than the devil. He said, "Now the serpent was more subtle, that means crafty now, than any beast of the field." Go ahead and read.

Which the Lord God had made. Go ahead. And he said unto the woman, "Yay have God said, Ye should not eat of every tree of the garden." So now he getting ready to deceive the woman now. But just to let you know now, the woman already knew what to do. We already know that she had she had her covering which was Adam and she left that she left her covering. But you got to realize one thing man. If we going to be the covering for our wives then we got to be covered by the blood of Jesus as well. That's the only way you can be a covering.

He got to be a covering as well. So now he said he said and God has said ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden. But now verse two go ahead. And the woman said unto the serpent, go ahead. We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, the natural fruit. Now we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, all of the oranges and apples and pomegranates, things like that, we was able to eat that because God told us that we can do that. But now, what did he tell you not to eat of? Verse three, go ahead.

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, go ahead. God have said, "You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die." That's what So now he don't want you fooling around with the with with saving the devil. And that's nothing that's changed today. God don't want you gibling with this guy at all. And if you give him any form to creep in, that's exactly what he going to do, sisters and brothers. He going to creep right in on it. He said, "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God had said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest she dies."

So now let's get uh keep uh uh keep reading there. Go ahead. And the serpent said unto the woman, go ahead, he should not surely die. He told her, well, this was the first lie that was ever been told, sisters and brothers. This was when sin was getting ready to enter into the creation right here. Before that, everything was perfect. He said, "And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die." So now verse five, go ahead. And God took know that in the day you eat thereof go ahead you your eyes shall be open and you shall be as God knowing good and evil.

And that's what being God is to know good and evil sisters and brothers. That's what make you God is to know good and evil. He was going to let Adam know in time what it was to be God once he crossed over. But see what happened. He knew what we knew what evil and good was in the flesh. So that's what caused the disturbance with the Lord, sisters and brothers. And this is when sin entered into the creation. So now let's get down to verse 21 because we want to throw this in real quick. Let's go down to verse 21 and go ahead.

Unto Adam also and to his wife and Lord God made coats of skin. Go ahead and clothe him. So now we throwing this in for a reason now because we going to talk a lot about animal sacrifices today because that's what God did in the first testament or that's what he did under the first covenant. So now he said also he said unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coast of skin and clothe them. So now verse 22 go ahead. And the Lord God said behold the man has become as one of us. Go ahead to no good and evil.

See God showing you the godhead right here. He said that he said man has become as one of us to know good and evil. So who is this us? That's the father and the son says in the verse because we know that the angels are not in God's image but we know man is. So now he said and the Lord God said unto man, behold he has become as one of us to know good and evil. So now what is he going to do with this man? Go ahead. And now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life. Go ahead. and eats and live forever.

Go ahead. Therefore, the Lord God sent him forth from the garden that needed to till the ground from which he was taken. Man, you got to work for everything. You just could have threw a seed out there and then the seed would just take root and grow. But now you got to teal the garden. Now you got to teal the land. But see, we was always doing that. We was husband men and doing husbandry and dealing with the with with agriculture here. And we was also dealing with it when we was back in the land. And that's why we made such good slaves when we came here.

We already knew what to do. We had already did all of those things. So now pick it up at verse 24. Go ahead. So he drove off the man and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubs and the floor and a flaming sword was turned every way. Go ahead to keep the way of the tree of life. So now we going to read about this a little later now because see Jesus dwelt between the cherubams and we going to go off into the tabernacle a little bit and show you that. So when you read this he said he drove out the man and placed at the east of the garden of Edom cherubams and a flame and swore which turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life.

And I'm going to throw this one thing in too. The first direction that he gave you in the Bible was east sisters and brothers because see Jesus going to come by way of the east gate. So now let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to Genesis the 14th chapter. We know the second person that did animal sacrifices was Noah. And then after that, we know Abraham started killing the animals. And we going to read about that. But let's go to Genesis the 14th chapter. Let's go deal with Abraham for a quick second. Let's go to Genesis 14 and we going to pick it up at verse 17.

Genesis 14 and we going to pick it up at verse 17 because we going to deal with one of Jesus many names. We going to show you when Jesus came down to the earth and he came under the name of Melzdc, sisters and brothers. And we going to show you that this guy was a priest and we going to be a priest after the order of Melchzdc forever. And we going to show you that as we get into the lesson. But let's go to Genesis 14 now and pick it up at verse 17. 14 and 17. Go ahead. And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of the cheram cheramar and of the kings that were with him at the valley of shame which is the king's dale.

Go ahead. And mazedc king of Salem. So notice what he said to mezc now king of Salem. We know Salem is short for Jerusalem now. And Salem means peace. So and MelchzDC king of Salem. What did he do? Go ahead. Brought forth bread and wine. He brought forth bread and wine. Go ahead. And he was the priest of the most high God. And notice what his title was. And he was also the priest of the most high God. You going to see this again a little bit later now. So now, and what else did he do? Verse 19. Go ahead. And he blessed him.

Go ahead. And said, "Blessed be Abram of the most high God." He said, "Blessed be Abram of the most high God." Go ahead. Possessor of heaven and earth. He noticed what else he called him. be called a possessor of heaven and earth, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So now verse 20, go ahead. And blessed be the most high God, which have delivered thine enemies into thy hands. Go ahead. And he gave him tithes of all. And that's what he did. He paid him tithes of all, sisters and brothers. So when we get later on, we ain't necessarily concerned about the tithes today.

But this was tithe was first played and it was played to him, sisters and brothers. He said, he said, "And blessed be the most high God, which had delivered thy enemies into thy hand, and he gave him tithes of all." So now verse 21, go ahead. And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, "Give me the persons and take the goods to thyself." You can read the rest of that on your own, but we got a lot of scripture to cover today. So let's go right off into Genesis the 15th chapter. Now, now let's go deal with Abraham. Let's go to Genesis 15 and we going to pick it up at verse 6.

Genesis 15 and 6. So we we had just read earlier when we was dealing off in first John that the that the Lord is the deliverer of those that believe in Jesus. Right? So we understand one thing about Jesus that you got to believe in him now because that's your faith. And if you do not believe in him then your faith is void. So now Genesis 15 and6 go ahead. And he believed in the Lord. Go ahead. And he counted it to him for righteousness. Just his belief, sisters and brothers, just believe in him. But you got to believe in everything that the Lord is telling you to do.

You got to believe in it. He said he believed in the Lord and he counted it to him for righteousness. Sisters and brothers. Verse seven, go ahead. And he said unto him, I am the Lord that brought thee out of earth of the cow to give thee this land to inherit it. Go ahead. And he said, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? So we going to ask for a sign. Now he said unto him, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? Go ahead and read. And he said unto him, take me a heer of three years old.

Go ahead. and a sheep of three years old and a ram of three years old and a turtle dove and a young pigeon. So now we going to show you what he used these for. Now he said unto him, take me heer of three years old, a goat and a ram and also a turtle dove and a young pigeon. So what did he do at verse 10? Go ahead. And he took unto him all these. Go ahead. And divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another. Go ahead. But the birds divided not. The birds he divided not but he took these goats and all these rams he divided them up into their parts sisters and brothers.

So now you seeing Abraham he is doing animal sacrifices. But now but the birds he divided not. So now verse 11 go ahead. And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses go ahead. Abram drove them away. He drove them fouls away. So now verse 12. Go ahead. And when the sun was going down, go ahead and deep sleep fell upon Abram and lo and horror of great darkness fell upon him. So Abraham or Abram for that matter before he became Abraham he getting ready to have a bad dream. So and he and he said that when the fold verse 12 he said that when the sun was going down a deep sleep fell upon Abram and lo a horror of great darkness fell upon him.

Verse 13 go ahead. And he said unto Abram, "Know of assurity that thy seed shall be a stranger in the land that is not there." Go ahead. And shall I serve them? Go ahead. And they shall afflict them 400 years. A lot of people get this mixed up with us being in slavery today coming over here. But it's not talking about that. This 400 or 430 years that this was talking about was when Israel went down into Egypt and became slaves, sisters and brothers. So they going to go into a land of a stranger that is not theirs and they shall serve them and they shall afflict them for 400 years.

But now what is God going to do to that nation? Verse 14. Go ahead. And also that nation whom they shall serve. Go ahead. Will I judge? And he going to judge that same nation. Now when we know what the Lord did to the Egyptians, that was a form of judgment when he brought them out and killed them all. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And afterward, go ahead. shall they come out with great substance. He said, "And after that, they shall come out with great substance." Sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So, we just wanted to point out of the animal sacrifice.

So, if you keep reading down, you will read the covenant that he made with them once he made the fire go through all of the pieces. Now, that was a sign of the covenant that he was going to make with Abraham that they was going to get the land of Canaan. But now, let's go to Exodus the 26th chapter. Let's go a little bit further in time. We know that the Lord delivered Israel and he brought Israel out to be a nation. Yes, sir. But what he was going to do, he was going to make a tabernacle that they can be among the people.

And when they went to this tabernacle, which was to go to inquire of the Lord, sisters and brothers, see, God was around us at this time. So, we going we going we going to learn some on our way to learning some right here. Let's go to Exodus 26 real fast. I just want to point this out. This ain't nothing serious, but I'mma do I'mma give you a visual or something. Let's go to Exodus 26 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. I just want to kind of show y'all what the colors of the tabernacle was. So now Exodus 26 and pick it up at verse one.

Go ahead and read. Moreover, thou shalt make the tabernacle with 10 curtains of fine twine lin. So he said, moreover, thou shalt make a tabernacle with 10 curtains of fine twine linen. Now, so what color is linen? We know linen is white. So now we gonna just leave this one right here white. But now read the next color. Go ahead. And blue and blue and purple. And purple. So I just want to kind of write it down. So these was just the colors of the tabernacle. Nothing serious. So we just going to color it in blue. So you had and what's what's the next color?

Go ahead. And scarlet. And scarlet. So we know scarlet is like a red color. So now so we got red, white, and blue. So you see a whole lot of flags that we see now that are red, white, and blue. But what we showing you what color that the tabernacle truly was. So we had fine twine lin was which was white. We had blue. We had scarlet. And what was the last color? Go ahead. That was purple. And purple. So this was and this was also show you how beautiful those colors was. We just going to color them in a little bit because see those was also the colors of the priest garments when they got consecrated.

And we going to read that a little bit later. So when they went off into the tabernacle, this was the color of the curtains that they had. It was red, white, blue, and purple. So now verse two, go ahead. And cherries of cutting work shalt thou make them. Go ahead. The length of one curtain shall be eight and 20 cubits, and the breadth of one curtain, four cubits. Go ahead. And everyone of the curtain shall have one measure. And everyone shall have one measure. So now let's get down to the veil now because we talked about at verse one he said moreover thou shalt make the tabernacles with 10 curtains of fine twine linen and blue and purple and scarlet with cherubams of cunning work shalt thou make them.

So now let's deal with this veil. Let's skip down to verse 30. and go ahead. And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was showed thee in the mountain. Go ahead. And thou shalt make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twine linen of cunning work. Go ahead. With cherubam shall it be made. So now we showing you what the veil looked like now. It was red, white, blue, and purple. And they had cherubams that was that was that was decorated all over this veil now. And this veil had represented the third heaven.

So now verse 32, go ahead. And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of sitting wood overlaid with gold. Go ahead. And their say their hooks shall be of gold upon false sockets of silver. Go ahead. And thou shalt hang up the veil under the dashes that thou mayest bring in dither within the veil the ark of the testimony. And the veil shall divide unto you between the holy place. Go ahead. And the most holy place. So this how it look now. So when you see what was going on inside of the tabernacle, it was a representation of what was going on in the third heaven.

So now he said, he said, "And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of and wood overlaid with gold." And then he said, "And the hook shall be of gold and upon four sockets of silk." But now he said also in verse 33 in the middle of it he said that thou mayest bring in hither within the veil the ark of the testimony and the veil shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy place. Verse 34. Go ahead. And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony. Go ahead. In the most holy place. That's where the ark of the covenant was, sisters and brothers.

And inside of the ark of the covenant was where they had the everlasting covenant which was the ten commandments. Yes. He said, "And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place." Verse 35, go ahead. "And thou shalt set the table without the bear." Go ahead. And the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south. Go ahead. And thou shalt put the table on the north side. So he made the table. And you had the veil. You have the candlestick which we just talked about the seven golden candlesticks not too long ago which represents those seven angels.

But now let's go into Exodus 28. Exodus 28. And we going to deal with the priest now because see when the Lord brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, he made us priests. And he chose the sons of Levi to deal with the priesthood. So these people was going to deal with the sins and they were going to kill the animals and sprinkle the blood. That was their job. So now let's go to Exodus the 28th chapter now. Exodus 28 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Exodus 28 and1. This is the consecration of the sons of Abram.

Exodus 28 and1. Go ahead and read. And take thou unto thee Abram thy brother and his sons with him from among the children of Israel that he may minister unto me in the priest's office even Aaron Nadab and Abaiu Elazar and Ishimar. Go ahead. A son. So these were the sons of Aaron, sisters and brothers, minus two. We had two of these guys didn't make the mission because they tried to do too much with God. You had Nab and Abhu. They offered strange fire before the Lord. And even though they was in the office of the high priest, God killed them.

So that let you know one thing about God. God see one thing. Who is doing right and who is doing wrong? Yes. So now don't get too overzealous for the Lord. So now verse two, go ahead. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother. Go ahead. For glory and for beauty. He said, "And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty." Sisters and brothers, keep reading. Go ahead. And thou shalt speak unto unto all that are wisehearted. Go ahead. Whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make heirs garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Go ahead. These are the garments which they shall make a breastplate and an ephod and a robe and a broader coat and a miter and a girdle. And they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother and his son. Go ahead. That he may minister unto me in the priest's office. That they may minister unto me in the priest's office. Now, so he going to deck these priests out with holy garments. So now pay attention one more time what color these garments were. Verse five. Go ahead. And he shall take gold and blue and purple and scarlet and fine linen.

Go ahead. And they shall make the ephod gold of blue and of purple of scarlet and fine twine linen with cunning work and of cunning work. So they couldn't just step in there with anything on. They had to have the priest garments on, sisters and brothers. But now let's get down to verse 10. Now pick it up at verse n. Read that verse nine. Go ahead. And thou shalt take two onx stones, engrave on them the names of the children of Israel, six of their names on one stone, and the other six names on of the rest on the other stone.

Go ahead. According to their birth. So now he says six of their names on one stone, and on the other six names on the rest of the other stones according to their birth. Notice you didn't see 13 tribes here. You only see 12, sisters and brothers, because he set everything by the vows of the children of Israel, which was 12. So now verse 11, go ahead. With the work of an engraver in the stone, like the engravings of a sign, thou shalt engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel, thou shalt make them to be set in arches of gold.

See, this where the gold come from that was on the priest's garments. Because when they they going to put these stones now and these six stones are going to represent the 12 tribes of Israel and they was engraved in stone. So now verse 12 go ahead. And thou shalt put the 12 the two stones upon the shoulders of the epoch for stones of memorial unto the children of Israel. Go ahead. A shall bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders for a memorial. So notice what this job was for these priests, sisters and brothers.

He said he said and Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord unto his two upon his two shoulders for a memorial sisters and brothers. So one thing that God is doing he is always making intercession for his children. So they always went off into the tabernacle with these six stones 12 stones rather that was engraved with them which were the 12 tribes of the children of Israel. But now keep reading elder. Go ahead. Uhuh. Yeah. Skip down to verse 31. Go ahead. And thou shalt make the robe of the ink part of all of blue.

Go ahead. And there shall be in hole in the top of it in the midst thereof. It shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it as it were the hole of it harbor. Good. And that it may not rinse. He said that it be not rinse. So they weren't going to be able to tear this robe the way they was tearing robes when they was fasting in the old days which Jesus had changed. Now but now verse 33 go ahead. And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue and of purple and of scarlet round about the hem thereof and bales of gold between them round about.

They was decked out sisters and brothers. They had bales of gold. This was just no regular bales that they had. These was bales of gold. So now, like we tell people that's standing on the corner now, if you don't make them like this, then you ain't making them right. See, this is how they did the priest garments back in the past. So the they had bales of gold of pomegranate around the hymn round about. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 34. And a golden bell and a pomegranate. upon the hymn on the road round about. Go ahead.

And it shall be upon Aaron to minister. So we shall be upon Aaron to minister. Now go ahead. And his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord. Go ahead. And when he cometh out, go ahead. That he die not. So now you got to announce yourself folk. You just walk up in the Lord's house. Now you just can't walk up in there. So now he said these bells went off when they went in to alert them. Now we got somebody in the temple. And once you came inside of it, once you came inside of this tabernacle, one more thing that they had to be, clean.

They couldn't be dirty. So before you go before God, one thing that you got to make sure of that you clean before the Lord, sisters and brothers. So now, let's go a little further. Now, let's go right into Exodus the 29th chapter. Let's go to Exodus 29. I want to take you the old way this time. I taught it differently last year, so I haven't taught it this way in a few years. So, I want to show it to you from the Old Testament for a while. Let's go to Exodus 29 now. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Exodus 29 and let's pick it up at verse one.

All of this going to make sense when we get into Hebrews later. So now, Exodus 29 and 1. Go ahead. And this is a thing that thou shalt do unto them to hollow them. Go ahead. you minister unto me in the priest's office. Take one young bullet and two grams of So this should sound familiar now because see Abraham just did this. So now this is what they going to do to consecrate the priest. Now he said take one young bullock and two rams without blemish. Without blemish means that they had done no work. They have not plowed.

They don't have no deformities. They had to be perfect before the Lord, sisters and brothers. So now what else did they take? Not only did they take the animals, they also had to take the meat offering. So now verse two, go ahead. And unleavening bread. Go ahead. And case unleavened, tempered with oil and wafers unleavened, anointed with oil, and wheaten flour shalt thou make them. Go ahead. And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket with the bullock and the two rams. So they didn't just come with just the lamb now or with the with the goat that they were going to kill.

They also had to have the cakes baked as well. So they was bringing the animals up to be sacrificed and then they also brought the meat offers which was the unleaven bread and they had to be made according to the way that the Lord told them to make them sisters and brothers. Sir, so now we going to read that a little later. But now verse three, go ahead. I mean verse four, I'm sorry. Go ahead. And Aaron and his sons thou shall bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Go ahead. And shall wash them with water.

Go ahead. And thou shalt take the garments and put upon Aaron the coats and the robe of the ephod and the breastplate and gur him with the curious girdle of the ephod. Go ahead. And thou shalt put the miter upon his head. So you know, so they had the hat on their head, sisters and brothers. But see, God took that away cuz we don't know what tribe we out of now. He said, and thou shalt put the miter upon his head. But one more thing I want to elaborate on. Go back. Go back up. to verse five. No, no. Read that verse four real quick.

One more thing I want to point out. Read that verse four. Go ahead. Aaron and his sons, thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Go ahead. And shall wash them with water. I'm showing you this because they had the laboring brass in the days of Solomon. And when they had this big labor in brass, they had the oxen that was made of bronze that was underneath the underneath this uh water labor that they had. And it was also 12. You can look that up off in uh 2 Chronicles the 5th chapter. But now, now let's get down to where we were.

Pick it back up at verse six. Go ahead. And thou shalt put the martyr upon his head and put the holy crown upon the miter. So skip down to verse 10. Go ahead. Then thou shalt cause and bullocks to be brought before the town of the congregation and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock. Go ahead. And thou shalt kill the bullock before the Lord by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And that's what they had to do, sisters and brothers. So what they doing? They consecrating the priest.

Now he said, "And thou shalt kill the bullock before the Lord now by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation." Verse 12, go ahead. And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullockhead and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger. And they had to take this blood now and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger. Now, so now keep reading. Go ahead. And pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar. And then they had to pour all the blood at the bottom beside of the altar. So everything had to be done in order, sisters and brothers.

So it was a whole lot of work to do to be absolved of your sins before Jesus came and died on the cross. So these are one things that when Jesus came, we didn't have to do none of this stuff no more. But this is how they did it in the old days. But now let's read the most important part. Read verse 13. Go ahead. And thou shalt take all the fat that coverth the inwards and the call that is above the liver. Go ahead. And the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them. Go ahead. And burn them upon the altar. They had to burn them up before the altar now because we know that what?

All of the fat belong to the Lord. Sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. See, that's the reason why the Lord had such respect to Abel's offering more than Cain's. And Cain gave him some agricultural things. But see, uh uh uh uh Abel had gave him the the the the the fat. He gave that to the Lord. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 14. But the flesh of the bullock and his skin and his gum shall burn with fire without the camp. Go ahead. It is a sin offering. sisters and brothers. That's what they did all of this for. So when they was consecrating the priest, the priest, the priest had to be absolved of their sins as well.

So he said, "But the flesh of the bullock and his skin and his tongue, shalt thou burn with fire without the count." He said, "This is a sin offering." And that's what we here for today. We here for to get our sins offered by Jesus. So now verse 15, go ahead. Thou shalt also take one round. Go ahead. And Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram. Go ahead. And thou shalt slay the ram. Go ahead. And thou shalt take his blood and sprinkle it round about upon the altar. Go ahead. And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces and wash the inwards of him and his legs and put them unto his pieces and unto his head, and thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar.

Go ahead. It is a burnt offering to unto the Lord. He said it's a burnt offering unto the Lord. Now, so we know that the burnt offerings have represented your vows that you were going to keep for the Lord. Now, so once you had the sin offering, you would also do the burnt offering to make a vow, not the sin before him again. That's what the whole thing was about. That's what the burnt offerings represent. So now verse 19, go ahead. And thou shalt take the other ram, and Aaron and his son shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

Go ahead. Then shalt thou kill the ram and take of his blood and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron. So this what they did now. So when they killed the ram, they put the blood on the right ear tip of Aaron. So now, what else did they do? Go ahead. And upon the tip of the right ear of his son. And upon the tip of the right ear of his sons. Go ahead. And upon the thumb of their right hand. It should sound familiar. Why is all this blood sitting to the right? Who's sitting on the right hand of God? Just think about what you're reading, sisters and brothers.

So now, keep reading. Go ahead. And upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. Go ahead. And thou shalt take of the blood that's upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him. Go ahead. and he shall be hollow and his garments and his sons garments with him. So now not only did he said because see the priest had to be uh also holy. Now he said he said he said and thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar and of the anointed oil and sprinkle it upon Aaron and upon his garments and upon his sons and upon the garments of his sons with him.

and he shall be hollowed and his garments and his sons garments with him. So everybody, not only did the high priest have to be holy, the sons had to be holy behind them. Yes, sir. Should sound familiar, sisters and brothers. So now, is that it? Yes, sir. Okay, let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to Exodus 40. and we going to pick it up at verse one. Let's deal with all these sacrifices before we get down to the real sacrifice. That way we can understand how it went in the old days, sisters and brothers. So the Lord put all this in here for you to understand it.

A lot of people skip past it, but this some of my favorite reading because you will see the works of God's hands once you read off in the this Exodus and and Leviticus. So pay close attention to those books. So now let's go to Exodus the 40th chapter. Now Exodus 40 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Every time I get to the law of Moses, I be stuck there for a long time. So when I get through reading the Bible all the way through. So now I'm I'm working on number seven now. But I've been stuck in Leviticus for a long time because I take my time.

If it's something you don't understand, go back and read it again. Don't keep going. Go back and read it again. And if God don't give it to you, then then move on because when you go back and read it, you gonna get all of it. So now let's go to Exodus 40. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. Exodus 40 and1. Go ahead Ell. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, "On the first day of the first month." So notice what he said. He said, "On the first day of the first month, sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. Shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation."

He said, "On the first day of the first month." So we know what is what is the first day of the first month? We know this is a bib. Now, so on the first day of the first month, he said, "Thou shalt set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation." So now verse three, go ahead. And thou shalt put there in the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil. This is all what he had to do. Now, thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil. Go ahead. And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it.

And thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. Go ahead. And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. So I just want to point out what verse five a little bit. He said, "And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense now before the ark of the testimony." So on the other side of the veil, that's where the altar of incense was now. So y'all remember when we read the other day that when Jesus gonna come back that his prayers going to come up as incense right before the Lord.

So your your your your prayers are on the other side, but it's going up into the third heaven. So think about what you read now. So now he said, "And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle." Verse six, go ahead. And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. Go ahead. And thou shalt set the lavar between the tent of the congregation and the altar and shall put water therein.

And that's that that's that brazen that brazen uh uh seawater thing that we talked about that got the 12 oxen of brass that's right underneath of it. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And thou shalt set up the court round. Thou shalt set the court round about what court? The court of the Gentiles when it was known for later. So now go ahead and read. and hang up the hanging at the court gate. Go ahead. And thou shalt take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is therein. Go ahead. And shall hollow it and all the vessels there.

Go ahead. And it shall be holy. See, notice everything that was in the temple and everything that was outside of the temple was holy, sisters and brothers. It had to be anointed with oil. So now we don't have the tabernacle standing. So who is the temple now? was you. So you got to be holy the same way that this tabernacle or this tent was holy back in the days of Moses. You got to be the same way. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 10. And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels. Go ahead.

It sancted by the altar. And it shall be an altar most holy. Sisters and brothers. That's the one that when when Solomon was getting ready to go. Matter of fact, we can just say Joab. Joab went in and he grabbed the horns of the altar cuz he said everything that was slain on the horn of the altars was holy. But Solomon said, "Go on in there and kill that rascal anyway." So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Skip down. Skip down to verse uh 34. Go ahead. Thank you. Then the cloud covered the tent of the congregation.

Then the cloud, and we know what the cloud represented. Now he said, "Then the cloud covered the tent of the congregation." Go ahead and read. And the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Sisters and brothers, see what you read. It's going to be the same way. When the Lord come back, once that temple get made, that cloud going to be off in that t off in the uh in his uh uh temple all the time. So now notice what Moses had to do once the cloud came into this tent of the congregation. Keep reading. Go ahead. 35.

And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation. Go ahead. because the cloud above there on. Go ahead. And the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. It's going to be the same way when he go back six days. Ain't nobody going to be able to get up in there. Them doors going to be locked. Because see one thing about the Lord, the Lord like to be by itself sometime. So now he showed you that when he used to go alone to go pray with people. He like being alone. So if you going to come in my house, you better have them bails on and announce yourself.

So now verse 36, go ahead. And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward and all their journey. Go ahead. But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not until the day that it was taken up. We need to do this in our personal lives, sisters and brothers. We need to do this in our personal lives. If God don't tell you to do it, don't do it. If God don't move, don't you move. You stay put because God going, he is the one that order your steps. So unless that cloud they said all right then the cloud mover y'all we better pack up let's pack up and let's move on away.

That's what they did. So we need to do this in our regular lives. But now verse 38 go ahead. For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day. Go ahead. And fire was on it by night. And we know that the cloud and we know also the fire represents the Lord. So now go ahead and read. in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys. Throughout all of their journeys, sisters and brothers, he never changed. So now, let's go to Leviticus 5. Let's go deal a little bit more with these sin offerings.

So, this how they did it in the old days, sisters and brothers. And one more thing I want to kind of add in when the Lord come back, they going to be making these sacrifices again now. But you gonna have Melchzdc in the temple. But then the Levitical priesthood will still be operate when the Lord is here. All of that's going to be gone during the time when infinity comes. What's infinity? Eight. Infinity. The eighth day. So now let's go to Leviticus 5. Now Leviticus 5. And we going to pick it up at verse one. So pay attention to all of this stuff, sisters and brothers, that we getting ready to read.

Leviticus 5. And let's pick it up at verse one. Five and one. Go ahead. And if a soul seen and hear the voice of sworn, go ahead. And is a witness, whether he be seen or known of it, if he do not utter it, go ahead. Then he shall bear his iniquity. See, a lot of people don't believe in snitching nowadays. You say snitches get snitches. Well, the Lord say if somebody you hear the voice of swearing in the cap, I heard him say, I heard us say, Lord, so you better go ahead and say something. He said, "And if a soul sin and hear the voice of swearing and is a witness, whether he has seen or known of it, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity."

So now verse two, go ahead. Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, go ahead. Whether it be a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him, go ahead. He also shall be unclean and guilty. But even if you didn't do it on See, that's what we got to understand. That's how that's why God is merciful. You might didn't even know that you sinned. But that ain't going to change anything once you get once you know it and it comes to your knowledge that you have sinned.

You got to repent to the Lord whether you know about it or not. Yes, sir. Because one thing, God is going to reveal if you did something wrong. It took me years to understand that I wasn't forgiving people the way that I should. It took me now to understand that. So if you don't get the answer now, keep asking for it. Keep asking. Not only the sins that I've committed, what else am I doing in the dark that I don't that you don't know that I'm doing that's hindering me or you? So now keep reading. Go ahead. Three. Go ahead.

Or if he touched the uncleanness of a of man. If he touch the uncleanness of man. All us got to deal with this now. That's why Jesus going to get rid of all this when we come back. Or if he touch the uncleanness of man. Go ahead. Whatsoever uncleanest it be that a man shall be defiled with all. Go ahead. And it be hid from him, when he knoweth of it, go ahead and read. Then he shall be guilty. Have you ever ate something and then all of a sudden, man, I didn't know this had pork in it. You eat a Twinkie. You didn't know it had pork in it.

But then you turn around and found out that you was eat something that had pork in it. You got to immediately, hey, let's get on our knees and let's start praying that to the Lord because we just did something unclean and God will forgive you for that. But you can't get out and say, well, you know what, man? I'm going to go out on the Sabbath tonight and then I'm going just, hey, you know, God ain't going to forgive you for that. That's going to be on your record because you know better. So now keep reading, Elder.

Go ahead. Or if a soul swear, pronounce you with his lips to do evil. Go ahead for it to do good. So you got to keep your word. Now he said, "If a soul swear pronouncing with his lips to do evil or to do good, go ahead and read. Whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath." Go ahead. And it it be hid from him when he doeth when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. You shall be guilty in one of these. Go ahead. And it shall be when he shall be guilty in one of these things that he shall confess that he have sinned in that thing.

Well, God is big on that. God is big on touching and agreeing. Now God also want us as church members to touch and agree because anything see one thing Satan want to do is divide and conquer. So the way that you get close to the Lord is just confess what you did is wrong. It's good when you confess your sins before the congregation or you confess your sins to God. That's a good thing because when you do that now you and the Lord you touching and agreeing. So now I'm going be able to deal with you because of that and show you some mercy.

But now verse six, go ahead. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord for his sin which he hath sinned, a female for the flock, a lamb for a kid of the goats for a sin offering. And the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin. And notice now we finally down to what an atonement really is, sisters and brothers. Atonement means to be at one with God again. Because now you have become an enemy to God because you have sinned. So once you confess it and you bring this lamb that and and tell the Lord that you have sinned, you take it to the priest and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

So now let's say you a little poor. Let's say you a poor man like overd. So now let's pick it up at verse seven. Let's say that you couldn't bring no lamb. So now verse seven, go ahead. And if he be not able to bring a lamb, go ahead. Then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath committed two turtle dove for two young pigeons unto the Lord. One for a sin offering ahead and the other for a burnt offer. I know Mike Tyson had a whole lot of pigeons did it. That was one of his name. Well, he all them pigeons would have been gone boy if he would have been here if he would have known the Lord.

But you know the Lord going to have mercy on people like that. It just was something to throw in. But he kept pigeons around him all the time. So if he could not bring a lamb for his trespass, then he had to bring two turtle doves and two pigeons. Now, so who did this in the beginning? We saw this from Abraham. He he brought the lamb and the two turtle doves. So God can show you that both are acceptable before him. So now verse eight, go ahead. And he shall bring them unto the priest. Go ahead. And shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and bring off his head from his neck.

Go ahead. but shall not be divided a Sunday. So you got to tear his head off, but then you don't divide the the the body a Sunday. Keep telling you sisters and brothers, you look how this animal was killed. Look how this bird was killed. So they had to ring his head off, but they did not divide the body. Verse nine, go ahead. And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be rung out at the bottom of the altar. Go ahead. It is a sin off. So this was also a sin offering.

Verse 10, go ahead. And he shall offer the second for burnt offering. And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering. Now, so when you offer the sin offering, then you have to turn around and make a burnt offering so you don't do it again. Go ahead. According to the matter, and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he have sinned. Go ahead. And it shall be forgiven him. So he said, he shall offer the second for a burnt offering according to the matter. What's according to the matter? You had to bring the turtle doves or the lamb, but you also had to bring the meat offering.

You had to also bring the unleaven bread. That's according to the matter. So now verse 11, go ahead. But if he be not able to bring two turtle doves or two young pigeons, then he that sin shall bring for his offering the 10th part of an epha of fine flour for a sin offering. Go ahead. and he shall put no oil upon it. See now, see the other offerings when you bring them when you do the peace offerings and things like that, the Eve offerings, they put oil on it. But when they had the meat offering, they didn't put no oil upon it because it was a sin offering.

And what else could you not put on this uh unleavened cake? Go ahead. Neither shall he put any frankincense there on. I don't want nothing to smell good about it. Go ahead. For it is a sin offering. Sisters and brothers, let's go a little further now. Let's go to Leviticus 16. Leviticus 16 and we going to pick it up at verse one. We getting ready to read about the day of atonement, sisters and brothers. And then we going to show you when the Lord told you to rejoice about it. And the rejoicing in this is that you afflict your soul.

You got to go without food and water. Afflict yourselves because really it's a beautiful thing when you do it. I done went an extra day and I feel like I ain't did nothing because the more you do it and the more you pray then God is going to put it in your spirit to see through whatever fast you going through because you ask the Lord for strength. So now another thing that help you always listen to scriptures that's talking about fasting that'll help you as well. But now Leviticus 16 Leviticus 16 and we going to pick it up at verse one 16 and1.

Go ahead Elder. And the Lord spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the Lord, and died. And the Lord said unto Moses, "Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within a veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark." Go ahead. That he die not. Go ahead. For I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. So I will appear in a cloud before the mercy seat. So you just couldn't come in there at all times. You couldn't be the priest, man.

Let me sneak my girlfriend in here. Show her what I'm doing. Look inside of the top now. Can you see that? You couldn't do none of that, sisters and brothers. See, one thing about God, God is serious business now. But now, verse three, go ahead. Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place. Go ahead. With a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for his burnt offering. Go ahead. He shall put on a holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen riches upon his flesh, and shall be girdled with the linen girdle, and with the linen marter shall be shall he be attired.

These are holy garments. Therefore shall he wash his flesh in water. Go ahead. And so put them on. So we you could have just got out the shower. You still before you went off into before you put these holy bridges on, you had to deal with this water. So you had to come before the Lord clean now. So now verse five, go ahead. And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering. Go ahead. And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering which is for himself.

Go ahead. And make an atonement for himself. Go ahead. And for his house. So notice what? See, Jesus ain't gonna have to do none of this. But see, the priest had to do this because the high priest was, even though he was the high priest, he was consecrated for that office. But that had nothing to do with him having sin. That's why I went an extra day on fasting. I wanted to make sure that I atone for me and for my house even before I did the day of atonement. So I wanted to make sure that I was clean before the Lord before we do this lesson for the people.

So now keep reading. Go ahead. Seven. And he shall take the two goats and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Go ahead. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats. So he had to cast lots upon these two goats. Now go ahead. One lot for the Lord. One lot was going to be for the Lord. Go ahead. And the other lot for the scapegoat. And the other lot is going to be for the scapegoat. Sisters and brothers. The scapegoat is one that you always blaming on. You got seven people.

They point at him in his face telling them he wrong. You wrong. You're wrong. That's what the scapegoat is. They want to blame it on. So in this case, this ram was going to be the scapegoat. So now verse n, go ahead. And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the Lord's lot fell. Go ahead. And offer him for a sin offering. Go ahead. But the goat of which the lot fell to be the scapegoat. Go ahead. Shall be presented alive before the Lord. This scapegoat had to be presented alive before the Lord. Now, so the first sin offering, the that goat had to be killed.

Now he was the sin offering. But the goat of which I fail to be the scapegoat shall be presented a lie before the Lord. Go ahead and read. To make an atonement with him. Go ahead. And to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness. And he had to go for a scapegoat into the wilderness. Sisters and brothers. That wilderness represents heaven. That's what that wilderness represent. So they would let that go. They would just turn him a loose someplace that was clean and he would go off into the wilderness. And the wilderness in this case represented the third heaven.

So now verse 11, go ahead. And Aaron shall bring the bulock of the sin offering which is for himself and shall make an atonement for himself and for his house and shall kill the bulock of the sin offering which is for himself. Go ahead. And he shall take a sensor full of the burning coals of fire from off the altar before the Lord. Go ahead. and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small and bring it within the veil. He had to bring it within the veil now because he had to take these in off and he had to bring it in now.

So he had to bring it in into the veil because this was going to blind him from the ark of the covenant. Go ahead and read 13. And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the Lord that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony. Go ahead. That he die not. that he died not. Go ahead. And he shall take of the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward. Eastward. Now, so we know this way is east. So that don't mean when you went into the tabernacle that he went in and sprinkled the tabernacle to the side.

He didn't go this way and sprinkled the blood. He sprinkled it eastward. Now, I mean eastward, which is this way. But the mercy seat was here. So he sprinkled it and it was facing eastward inside of the tabernacle because the Lord go come by way of the east gate. So east east is important to the Lord. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. He shall sprinkle the blood with his finger seven times. Go ahead. And shall he kill And then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people.

Go ahead. And bring his blood within the veil. Go ahead. And do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock. Go ahead. And bring it upon the mercy seat. He said, "And sprinkle it upon the mercy seat." Go ahead. And before the mercy seat. And also before the mercy seat. Go ahead. 16. And it shall make an atonement for the holy place because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel. If you take that in your fast as well talking about removing uncleanness or if you unclean yourself, see when you do this day of atonement, you need to also pray to be clean again.

Sisters and brothers, we know that in this world that is hard, but we still got to pray for it. And he shall make an atonement for the holy place because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel and for what else? Go ahead. And because of their trans their transgressions and all their sins. Go ahead. And so shall he do for the tabernacle that run the congregation that remainth among them in the midst of their uncleanness. He said in the midst of their uncleanness. Keep reading. Go ahead. And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place.

Because no man no man in the congregation when he go to make an atonement in the holy place. Sisters and brothers. The only person that was in the holy place was the high priest. See, if you reading in between the lies, God is telling you now that ain't no man in heaven. There's no man that's in the third heaven. The only person now that's making intercessions for the people is Jesus. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Until he come out and have to have an at torment for himself and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the Lord, and make an atonement for it, and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about. And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his fingers seven times, and cleanse it, and hollow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. Go ahead. And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place in the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, he shall bring the live goat. Go ahead.

Aaron shall lay both hands upon hands upon the head of the live goat and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel. Go ahead. And all their transgressions. That's what GC Aaron is is operating in the priest. Uh at this point, he was operating in the priest of God. So now we got God that's doing this. So notice what Abram, which was the high priest, did. He said, "And Abram shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel and of all their transgressions."

Go ahead. In all their sins. And in all their sins. Go ahead. Putting them upon the head of the goat. Go ahead. and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness. Go ahead. And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited. Go ahead. And he shall let go the goat in the wilderness. He shall let the goat go into the wilderness now. So now let's skip down at verse 29. Verse 29. And go ahead and read. And this shall be a statue forever unto you. So notice what he said. And this shall be a statue forever unto you."

Go ahead, that in the seventh month. we in the seventh month on the Lord's scriptural calendar. Now, he said unto you that in the seventh month, go ahead and read. On the 10th day of the month, go ahead. He shall afflict your souls. Go ahead. And do no work at all. He don't want you to do no work at all on this day. You can't do no cooking. You can't do nothing on this day because this day is holy, sisters and brothers, and you are to afflict your soul with fasting. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that so journeth among you, or of a stranger that so jointh among you, sisters and brothers.

So now, keep reading. Go ahead. For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. Go ahead. It shall be a Sabbath of rest unto you. Go ahead. And you shall afflict your souls, but by a statute forever. Go ahead. And the priest whom he shall anoint and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's steed shall make the atonement and shall put on the l the linen clothes. Go ahead. Even the holy garments. Give even the holy garments.

So now go ahead and read that verse 33. Go ahead. And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary. And he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation and for the altar. And he shall make an atonement for the priests and for all the people of the congregation. And for all of the people of the congregation, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So now, let's go off into Leviticus 23. Let's go to Leviticus 23 because God want this to be a feast. Now, yeah. You know, I I should have went on and put it in.

We'll come back to it. I I I should have put that in. I just saw that. But let's go ahead on to Leviticus 23 because we we gonna pick it up again. We gonna read that here. I I just saw that. My bad. Let's go to Leviticus 23. Leviticus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse one. I promise you'll be there next year. Leviticus 23 and one. Go ahead, Elder. And the Lord spake unto the unto Moses, saying, Go ahead. Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them concerning the feast of the Lord which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations.

Go ahead. Even these are my feast. So now we going to read about these feasts now. And he called these feasts holy convocations. He said even these are my feasts. Now verse three. Go ahead. Six days shall work be done. Go ahead. But the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest. The weekly Sabbath, sisters and brothers. He says, "Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest." And what is it? Go ahead. And holy convocation. It's a holy convocation, a holy gathering. Sisters and brothers, sir, you know, you know when when when holy people get together, Satan got to flee out.

He got to go because it's a holy gathering. So he can't be in the same room with holy people. That's why God want you to have a holy convocation on these days. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. You shall do no work there. Go ahead. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. It's going to be the Sabbath of the Lord in all of your dwellings, sisters and brothers. Whether you was in Jerusalem, whether you was in Japan, whether you was in America or anywhere, the key to it all is to count seven days. So no matter where you were, once you did that count, you knew exactly where you were.

So now, let's skip on down. to uh uh uh verse 26. Let's let's let's let's see what we here for. Skip down to verse 26 and go ahead and read. He said do no surprise. And the Lord spake unto Moses saying go say go ahead. Also on the 10th day of this seventh month sisters and brothers. So if anybody that is watching online you'll say well why are we a month ahead? Because we don't keep the looney solar calendar. We don't keep the extra leapy year calendar. God's years are sabbatical. They are not leap years. So we keep the sabbatical years.

So now he said also on this 10th day of this seventh month, go ahead and read. There shall be a day of atonement. He there shall be a day of atonement, sisters and brothers. And this is the day that you take all your infirmities, anything that you sink with, anything that's holding you back. By his forgiveness this year, this is what I took to the Lord. So whatever is troubling you, that's what you got to take to the Lord this day. Keep reading. Go ahead. It shall be in holy convocation unto you. Go ahead. And ye shall afflict your soul.

Go ahead. And offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord. And ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord. And we just read what these offerings were. So now verse 28, go ahead. And he shall do no work in that same day. Go ahead. For it is a day of atonement. Sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. To make an atonement for your for you before the Lord your God. Go ahead. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, go ahead. It shall be cut off from among his people. So when you don't fast this day, it was going to be consequences for it, sisters and brothers.

So right now you not in a situation that you may be cut off from among your people. But now what is God going to do? You might not fast on this day, but what's going to happen? He gonna get you at the end, sisters and brothers. He said, "Let the wheat grow with the tear and he gonna separate them at the harvest." So once that sun went down last night, no food and no water should have entered your system at all. Period sisters and brothers. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 30. And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day.

Go ahead. The soul the same soul will I destroy among his people. Go ahead. He shall do no manner of work. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in your dwelling. Go ahead. It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest. I seen my son My son slept from the time we got home last night all the way up to about 5:00 this morning. He never did that. Had game night on the game night, but he slept. He rested. And I was happy to see him do that. He said, "It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest." Go ahead and read.

And ye shall afflict your soul. What's the affliction? Man, I'm thirsty. You looking all in the refrigerator and can't touch nothing. You playing what you going to eat that night? I'm going to eat this. I'm going to eat that. But you can't eat nothing right now because that's the affliction. The affliction is that you that you fast on this day. Keep reading. Go ahead. In the ninth day of the month at evening, he said on the ninth day of the month at evening, go ahead and read. From even unto evening, go ahead. Ye shall celebrate your Sabbath.

We shall celebrate your Sabbath. Celebrate it. God is passing over all your sins right now. God is making atonement for everything that you did wrong this year. God is for is forgiving you for all of it because you are confessing it. So now let's go a little further. Now let's go into the New Testament. So remember now you got you got the first testament and you got the new testament or you got the the the it was called the old testament the new testament or the old testament was also called the first testament I want to say that for a reason.

So now yes Psalms 40 let's go to Psalms 40 and we going to pick it up at verse 9. So now let's go we still he going to show you he going he gonna show you what he say here. Let's go to Psalms 40 and we going to pick it up at verse four. Psalms 40 and 4. Go ahead and read. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust and respect not the proud. Go ahead. Nor such as turn aside the lies. He said he said blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust and respect not the proud. Now nor such as turn aside the lies.

God don't want you to to respect the proud. See God, I want you to respect people like that. God, hate people with pride. So now verse five, go ahead. Many, oh Lord my God, go ahead. Are thy wonderful works which thou hast done. Go ahead. And thy thoughts which are to us, they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee. They can't even be reckoned up. I know. That's why I got to forgive people cuz I don't deserve no forgiveness of anything that I have been from God. I don't deserve it. But God is so merciful that the things that you have done in your past once you confess it, he get it over with, sisters and brothers.

So we can't reckon up all of the good and that he has to us and all of his thoughts that he have for us to succeed. So now go ahead. If I would declare and speak of them, go ahead. They are more than can be numbered. When you're going through good things, when you're going through bad, it's all for your benefit. So now notice what he said at verse six. Go ahead. Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire. Sacrifice and offerings thou didest not desire. All these animals we read about being killed. God didn't want us to do none of that.

We didn't want us to do none of those animal sacrifices. He said sacrifice and offerings thou didest not desire. Go ahead and read. My ears has thou opened. Mine ears has thou opened. Go ahead. Offering and sin offering has thou not required. Go ahead. Then said I, Lo, go ahead. had come in the volume of the book. Go ahead. It is written of me here. I'm going to come in the volume of the book. I'm gonna come in the scrolls of the book. I'm going to come in the first testament, but then I'm I'm I'm going to give you my word in the first testament and then I'm going to come in the volume of a book in the New Testament.

Go ahead and read. I'd like to do thy will, oh my God. Go ahead. Yay. Thy law is within my heart. He said, "Yeah, thy law is within my heart." Now, this is that. So this is a psalm of David but this is Jesus speaking through the mouth of David. He said then said I lo I come in the volume of the book and is written of me. He said I delight to do thy will oh my God yet thy law is within my heart. So this is Jesus speaking through the mouth of David. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Now I have preached righteousness in the great congregation.

Go ahead. No I have not refrained my lips. Oh Lord thou knowest. He said I have not refrained my lips. He said, "Lord, thou knowest." Because Jesus said, "You don't take a candle and put it under a table, do it." But you take a candlestick and put it on top of the table that it may give light unto the whole house. And that's what God did when he was on the earth. So now, let's show let's go to St. John 11 real quick. Let's elaborate on Jesus dying for the world because we read that in 1 John 2. So let's go to St. John 11.

and we going to pick it up at verse 49. Jesus came and died for everybody. Sisters and brothers. He came and died for everybody that believed in him and kept his laws, statutes, and commandments. Yes, sir. Those are the people. So now St. John 11 and pick it up at verse 49. 11 and 49. Go ahead. And one of them named Kais being of the high priest that same year said unto them, go ahead. You know nothing at all. He said, you know nothing at all. Go ahead. nor consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people.

Go ahead. And that the whole nation perish not. The whole nation would have perished, sisters and brothers, had Jesus did not come and die for the people. He just not talking about in this day. He was also talking about all of the people that was back in the Old Testament. Sisters and brothers, Jesus also came to die for them. The blood of bulls and goats kept them in play until Jesus came and his blood was shed in the world for shed on the cross for the world. Keep reading. Go ahead. 51. Go ahead. And despite he not of himself.

Go ahead. But being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation. Why did you just read that? Didn't they take that goat and confess over that goat and the tabernacle? killed it for the for the sins of the nation of Israel. So now you seeing what he came and died for. Jesus came and died for the sins of Israel, but he also came to die from somebody else. Verse 52, go ahead. And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

He coming he coming to get everybody, sisters and brothers. All of the children of God that were scattered abroad. You know, you got some Chinese people that truly believe in Jesus. Now, you got some people down in Brazil that truly believe in the Lord. So, now, let's go back. I should have told you to put a marker in Psalms. Let's go back to Psalms 55. Now, let's go to Psalms 55 and show you that Jesus was holy. Jesus didn't do nothing wrong when he was here. But Jesus came and died for the father's word. See, Jesus was a soldier.

See, people don't understand what a soldier is. People don't understand what a so what it is to be a soldier. might be that you might die and not come home one day. Soldiers understand that when they go to war. So now let's go to Psalms 55. Psalms 55. And we are going to pick it up at verse one. Psalms 55 and one. Go ahead and read. Give air to my prayer, oh God, and hide not thy face from my supplications. And you want God to do this to you. Now he said, give ear to my prayer, oh God, and hide not thyself from my supplications.

Verse two, go ahead. Attend unto me and hear me. I mourn in my complaints and make a noise. Go ahead. Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. Go ahead. For they cast iniquity upon me. Go ahead. And in wrath they hate me. I mean, look what look what the Lord said they did to him now. He said he said, "Hear me, Lord." He said, he said, "I mourn in my complain and make a noise because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For not only did they cast iniquity upon me, he said, "And in wrath they hate me also."

They hated the man for no reason at all. And then now, not only did they hate him, he had to come die for the sins, too. And you mean to tell me that you can't fast for 24 hours. Come on, sisters and brothers. We got to toughen up for the Lord. So now, notice what else he said at verse four. Go ahead. My heart is so pain within me, and the terrors of death are falling upon me. I'm getting ready to die. I've been everlasting. I ain't got no beginning. But now I'm getting ready to end. So now that that bothered Jesus because he was getting ready to go into the depths of hell and he did not want to go there.

He said, "My heart is sore pain within me and the terrors of death are fallen upon me and hell in that case is the grave." So now verse five, go ahead. Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me and horror have overwhelmed me. And I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove, for then would I fly away and be at rest." I just want to be left alone, man. That's what Jesus said. I just want to be alone. Just let me fly away and be alone. If I had the wings of a dove, he said, "Then would I fly away and just be at rest."

But now, keep reading, Elder. Go ahead. Lo, then would I wander far off and remain in the wilderness. He said, "Then would I remain far off and remain in the wilderness, see?" So now skip down to verse 12, Elder, and go ahead. For it was not the enemy that reproached me. For it was not an enemy that reproached me. Go ahead. Then I couldn't have borne. Then I could have borne it. If if it was an enemy that reproached me, then I would have been able to deal with it. He said, for it was not an enemy that reproached me, then I could have borne it.

Go ahead. Neither was it he that hated me that that did magnificent hate himself against me, then I would have hid myself from him. Go ahead. But it was thou. Go ahead. A man of my equal. But it was thou, he said, a man my equal. They was equal in the beginning when they was in the garden of Eden when he said the man has become as one of us to know good and evil. So they was equal. You had Jesus and you had J or you had Jehovah. That's was that was his name in the Old Testament. Keep reading. Go ahead. My God and my acquaintance.

He said, "My God and mine acquaintance." Go ahead. We took sweet counsel together. Go ahead. And walked into the house of God in company. He said, "We took sweet counsel together and walked into the house of God and company, sisters and brothers." So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Let death seed upon them. Go ahead. And let them go down quickly into hell. That's what Jesus going to do to his enemies in the end. out. He said, "Let death seize upon them and let them go down quickly into hell." Go ahead. For wickedness is in their dwelling and among them.

And also and among him, sisters and brothers. So now just read that verse 17. Read that. Read that. Read verse 16. 16 and 17. Go ahead. As for me, go ahead. I will call upon God. Notice what he said. As for me, I will call upon God. Go ahead and read. And the Lord shall save me. And the Lord shall do what? He shall save me. So now this what we all need to be doing. Read that verse 17. Go ahead. Evening and morning and at noon will I pray and cry aloud. Go ahead. And he shall hear my voice. If you just say the Lord's prayer, you ain't got to go in deep all the time.

Sometimes just say the Lord's prayer. Say it at 9:00. Say it at 12:00. And if you can say it at 3:00, the three-day oblation you just read about it. Yes, sir. So now, let's go a little further now. Let's go to St. Matthew 27. Let's show you where he when he died. Let's go to St. Matthew 27. And we gonna pick it up at verse 27. We ain't gonna read a lot in this chapter. We just want to show you what happened to the veil when Jesus died. That veil that we was reading about that that divided the holy place from the most holy place.

Let's show you what happened when Jesus died. And when he died, there was a changing of the priesthood. The Levitical priesthood got put on hold for a while and then the priesthood of Melchzdc had came in. So MelchzDC is a priesthood, sisters and brothers. So now let's go to St. Matthew 27 and pick it up at verse 27. Uh uh uh 27 and 27. Go ahead. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the the common hall and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers and they stripped him and put him on a scrawler robe.

And when they had plated a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head and a reed in his right hand. And they bowed the knee before him and mocked him saying, "Hell, king of the Jews." That's what they did to the master, sisters and brothers. They did all of this to him. Now, he said, "But keep reading. Go ahead." And they spit upon him. They even spit on him, sisters and brothers. So, not only did he die for the sins of the people, they hated him without a cause. They beat him. They planted a crown of thorns on their head, which we know is called a corona now.

And we know that those corona counts, what they do once they pierce into your skull, it produces blood. sisters and brothers. So now then they also spit upon it. Go ahead and read. And took the reed and smoked him on the head. Then they took a reed and smoked him on the head. They hit him on the head with a stick. The man that created the world that came and died for these people. But guess what? These people that hit him, if they repented, guess what? Jesus going to let them in the kingdom, sisters and brothers. He going to let them in the kingdom.

Go ahead and read. Yeah. Yeah. Skip on down to 45. Yes, sir. Elder. Go ahead. Now for the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying, Eli, Eli, that is to say, my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? He said, my God, my God, why thou forsaken me? Because his flesh was crying out, sisters and brothers. So now verse 47, go ahead. Some of them that stood there when they heard that said, "This man called for Elias." They said, "He called it for Elias."

Now go ahead. And straightway one of them ran and took a sponge and filled it with vinegar and put it upon the reed and gave him to drink. They gave it to him to drink. But go ahead and read. The rest said, "Let me let us see when the Elias will come to save him." Go ahead. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. He probably let out the monster cry boy when he was on that on that cross and when he died. He probably let out the monster cry only. He said when Jesus had cried again with a loud voice, he yielded up the ghost.

And what happened at verse 51? Go ahead. And behold, the veil of the temple was rent twang from the top to the bottom. Go ahead. And the earth did quake. It was an earthquake at that time. Go ahead. And the rocks rent. And the rocks had rent. All this happened at the time that Jesus had died, sisters and brothers. So the veil of the temple was winning and twain from the top to the bottom and the earth did quake and the rocks did rent. So at this point in time, this was the acceptable day. This was the day that Jesus died on the cross and anybody that had the faith to believe in him now that they will be they'll get off into the kingdom.

So now let's go to Galatians 3. Galatians 3. Galatians 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 10. Galatians 3 and we are going to pick it up at verse 10. 3 and 10. Go ahead and read. For as many as are of the works of the law, go ahead. are under the curse. We read that yesterday. Now we said when we read you are not under the law but under grace when he was talking to the Romans. But see those Romans was walking with God. Now he wasn't talking to just know any Roman. So he said, "For as many as are under the works of the law, you are under the curse."

Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. For it is written, cursse is everyone that continuth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do. That's why you got to continue therein. That's why I did that lesson today. Well done, good and faithful servant. You got to continue until the end, sisters and brothers. You got to endure unto the end. So now he said, "Cursed is everyone that continued not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do." Now verse 11, go ahead. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God.

Go ahead. It is evident for the just shall live by faith. sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. And the law is not of faith. And the law was not of faith. Because you wonder the law. You seen it. He said, "And the law was not of faith." Go ahead. But the man that doeth them shall live in them. Go ahead. Christ have redeemed us from the curse of the law. Notice what he said. Christ have redeemed us from the curse of the law. Go ahead and read. They made a curse for us. Go ahead. For it is written, curses everyone that hangeth on a tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.

Go ahead. That we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. That you may receive the promise of the spirit through faith. So we threw the Gentiles in because we know God is the God of all people. Sisters and brothers, he said that the blessings of Abraham might come on the Gentiles also. What was the blessings of Abraham? That he believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness. That's what he talking about. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men, though it be but a man's covenant, yet it is a but yet it is it yet if it be confirmed no man this or Adam's there too.

Go ahead now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not into seeds as of many, but as of one, and thy seed which is Christ. And to thy seed which is Christ. So now verse 17, go ahead. And this I say that the covenant that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, go ahead. Which was 430 years after. Go ahead. Cannot disenol that it should make the promise of none effect. Go ahead. For if the inheritance of if the inheritance be of the law, it is not more of promise, but God gave it to Abraham by pro.

Go ahead. Wherefore then serveth the law. So he said, wherefore then serveth the law. Now we talking about animal sacrifices right here. He said, wherefore then serveth the law? Go ahead and read. It was added because of transgression. It was added because of transgressions, sisters and brothers. And we read where those where those sacrifices was made because of transgressions and the covenant that was confirmed before of God the law which was 430 years after. Now that's when he brought in the animal sacrifices. But now keep reading.

Go ahead. To the seed should come. So this was in play to the seed should come. Go ahead. To whom the promise was made. Go ahead. And it was ordained by an angels in the hand of a mediator. And it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Verse 20. Go ahead. Now, a mediator is not a mediator of one. Go ahead. But God is one. Go ahead. It's the law. So he said he said, "For a mediator is not the mediator of one, but God is one." You can't mediate something with yourself. So when you mediate something, it got to come between two parties, sisters and brothers.

But he said, "But God is one." Keep reading. Go ahead. 21. Is the law dead against the promises of God? Go ahead. God forbid. For if there be had been a law given, which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. Go ahead. But the scripture has concluded all of the sin. But the scripture had concluded all under sin. Go ahead. That the promise made by the but that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Go ahead. But before faith came, he said, but before faith came, go ahead.

We were kept under the law. sisters and brothers. But before faith came, he said we were kept under the law. Go ahead. Shut up. Unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Go ahead. Wherefore the law was our school master to bring us unto Christ. He said, wherefore the law was our school master, sisters and brothers, to bring us unto Christ. Go ahead and read. That we might be justified by faith. Go ahead. But after that faith has come, we are no longer under a school master. We are no longer under the school master, sisters and brothers.

Go ahead. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Now that's what it is. You are all the children of God by faith now through Christ Jesus, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So you know everything, the law that was in the Old Testament was all to be the school master to guide you right on up into Christ like a crossing guard lady. You going to take them across and then you going to bring them under Christ. Sisters and brothers, that's what a school master is. So now, let's go a little bit further.

Now, let's go to Hebrews the 7th chapter. We not going to read, Hebrews 7. I'mma just elaborate on it a little bit because in Hebrews 7, that's where it was talking about, you know, Melchzdc. I mean, he Hebrew uh I'm sorry, Psalms 11:0. We not going to cover that. Psalms 110 where we was talking about MelchzDC. So, let's pick it up at Hebrews 7. Hebrews 7. And we going to pick it up at verse one. In Psalms 1:10, he told him, "You going to be a priest forever after the order of MelzDC." Let's go to Hebrews 7. Hebrews 7 and we going to pick it up at verse one.

When you get there, go ahead, Elder. For this Melzdc, king of Salem, go ahead. Priest of the most high God. So, now we read about this MelzDC once he met Abraham. He said, "But this Melchisedc, king of Salem, priest of the most high God." Go ahead and read. Who met Abraham, returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him. Go ahead. To whom also Abraham gave a 10th part of all, first being by interpretation king of righteousness. Go ahead. And after that also king of Salem. Go ahead. Which is king of peace.

So if you want to know who MelchzDC was, he going to tell you what it is now. So let's show you the description of who this Melchzdc is. Read that verse three. Go ahead. Without father. He was without father. Go ahead. Without mother. Go ahead. So a lot of people like to dispute that. What do you mean he was without father and without mother? Jesus. They don't understand the longevity of Jesus. Jesus was God in the beginning that became man to die for the sins of the people. So in order to have a spiritual body that could die, he had earthly parents.

But when he said without father and without mother, if you go back and read off in Micah the 5th chapter, he will tell you that Jesus was everlasting. Jesus is everlasting. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Having neither beginning of days, Go ahead. nor end of life. Go ahead. But made like that to the son of God abideth a priest continually. He abided a priest continually, sisters and brothers. He abided a priest continually. Go ahead and read. Four. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who received the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham. But he but he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham and blessed him that had the promises. Go ahead. And without all contradiction. Then the less is blessed of the better. He said the less is blessed of the better. Go ahead. And here men that thy receive tithes, but there he receiveth them of whom it is witness that he liveth.

And as I may so say, Levi also who receiveth tithes paid tithe to in Abraham. He paid tithes also with Abraham. Now so everybody had paid tithe in Abraham. So now Levi had also paid tithes. So now verse 10, go ahead. For he was yet in the loins of his father when Misesc met him. Go ahead. If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, for under it the people received the law, what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of my go ahead. And not be called after the order of Aaron.

Read that verse 12. Go ahead. For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. There was going to be a change also of the law, sisters and brothers, because the priesthood change. And that priesthood is you ain't got to sprinkle no blood no more. You ain't got to go into the holy place in the most holy place. You going to have somebody that's going to go for you. So now let's skip down to verse 16 and go ahead. Who is made not after the law of a carnal commandment. Go ahead. But after the power of an endless life.

Go ahead. For he testifith, thou art a priest forever after the order of maze. And you can read that in Psalms 110. That's why I took that verse out of here for to save time. He said, for he testified, thou art a priest forever now after the order of Melchzdc. Verse 18, go ahead. For there is verily this knowing of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitleness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing end of it a better hope did. Go ahead. By the which we draw nigh unto God. He said, "By the which we draw nigh unto God."

Go ahead. And and as much as not without an oath, he was made priests. For those priests were made without an oath. But this was an oath by him that said unto him, "The Lord swear and will not repent. Thou art a priest forever after the order of Mesc. Just kind of tell you what that is, sisters and brothers. He said he said that he the Lord swear that he would not repent. Thou art the priest forever after the order of Melzdc. See the priest in those days Abra could die then his son can stand in. Then he can die out.

There was no oath. You was the one that was going to get the spot. So now what did he say at verse 22? Go ahead and read. By so much was Jesus made a shorty of a better testament. He was made shorty of a better testament, sisters and brothers. A better testament. He was going to come in the New Testament a better testament. So now verse 23, go ahead. And they truly were many priests. There was truly many priests. Go ahead. Because they were not suffering to continue by reason of death. But this man, because he continued forever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

Go ahead. Wherefore he is able to also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him. See he never he ever liveth to make intercession for them. That's what Jesus is doing right now. See Moses was the intercessor in the Old Testament. That's why you got the Old Testament. When you go and look in Malachi, the very last verse in Malachi says, "Remember ye the law of Moses." Now, that's what he told you to remember. So now that's why you got the old covenant. Who was the intercessor in the old covenant? That was Moses, sisters and brothers.

He was the intercessor. But now the intercessor of the new testament was none other than Jesus. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 26. Go ahead. For such a high priest became us who was holy. Go ahead. Homeless, undefiled, separate from sinners. He's separate from sinners. Why he say separate from sinners? Because he up in the third heaven right now. We ain't no sinners up there at all. That's why he is separate from sinners. Jesus was preaching to sinners when he was on the earth. But now that he is up in the third heaven, he is separate from sinners.

And the book going to tell you that. Go ahead. And made higher than the heavens. And he was even made higher than the heavens. Go ahead. Who needeth not daily as those high priests to offer up sacrifice first for his own sin and then for the peoples. For this he did once he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity. He maketh men high priests which have infirmity, sisters and brothers. But what was Jesus? Go ahead. But the word of the oath which was sent the law maketh the son who is consecrated forever more.

The son is consecrated forever more, sisters and brothers. So now let's go right off into Hebrews nine. And we almost there sisters and brothers. Let's go into Hebrews nine. And we going now in the very he going to mention the first covenant one time. So now let's go to Hebrews nine and we going to walk ourselves down through this chapter a little bit. Let's go to Hebrews 9 and we going to pick it up at verse one. So now he going to show you what was under the first covenant. So now Hebrews 9 and one. Go ahead. Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service.

Go ahead. In the worldly sanctuary and we all read about the worldly sanctuary. They had to make the garments. They had to make all of this. They had to consecrate the temple and all of this stuff. So now he gonna tell you that this was this was under the first covenant. Go ahead. For there was a tabernacle made. Go ahead. The first wherein was the candlestick and the table and the showbread. Go ahead. Which is called the sanct. Go ahead. And after the second bed, the tabernacle, which is called the holiest of all.

Go ahead. Which had the golden sensor. Go ahead. And the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold. And that's what we read, sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. Wherein was the golden pot that had mana and Aaron's rod that budded go ahead and the tables of the covenant. And also the tables of the covenant. And we know what the tables of the covenant. Those was the two tables of stone. Now, and it had the covenant that was written on those tables of stone. So now verse five, go ahead. And over it the cherubim of glory shadowing your mercy seat of which we cannot now speak partially.

Particularly now when these things were thus ordained, the priest went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. Accomplish in the service of God. Go ahead. But into the second with the high priest alone once every year. See this talking about the day of atonement. Now he said, "But until the second went the high priest alone once every year." Go ahead and read. Not without blood. Go ahead. Which he offered for himself and for the heirs of the people. Go ahead. The Holy Ghost this signifies that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest.

Go ahead. While at the first tabernacle was yet standing, which was a figure for the time then present in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices that could not make him that the service perfect. Go ahead. As pertaining to the cont. So just pay attention to what we reading right now. We are reading about we read about what was under the first covenant now. So what was under the first covenant that's when they had to show bread the candlesticks and all of that. So now he is talking about sin now. So now keep reading.

Go ahead. With stood only in meats and drinks and divers watches and colonel ordinances imposed on them until a time of reformation. Go ahead. But Christ being come in and high priest of good things to come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle. He said by a greater and more perfect tabernacle. Now go ahead and read. Not made with hands. Go ahead. That is to say, not of this building. Go ahead. Neither of the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered at once into the holy place. Go ahead. Having obtained eternal redemption for us.

So we just talking about we talking about killing the animals now and now we talking about his own blood whence he entered into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us. So now verse 13 go ahead for if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of heer sprinkling the unclean sanctifyth to the purifying of the flesh. Go ahead. How much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God purge your conscience from dead work to serve the living God. Go ahead and read.

And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament. sisters and brothers. He is the mediator of the New Testament. So now so keep reading. Go ahead. that by means of death cuz he had to die. You got to have the death of a testator now. So a testament is one that dies and it's of it's of no effect until after the testator dies now. So he said for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament. You had the old testament now you got the new testament or the old testament was called the first the first testament.

So now keep reading. Go ahead. by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament Now go ahead and read that which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. The f of what's the first testament? Those that died that was in the old testament sisters and brothers he came also for them. This the only addin we got. Let's go to St. Matthew 26 real quick. St. Matthew 26 and we going to read verse 28. Let's show you what Jesus said right here. St. Matthew 26 and we going to read one verse right here.

We going to read verse 28. 26 and 28. So now we going to show you what his blood was made for. Go ahead and read. For this is my blood of the new testament. Sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. Which is shed for many for the remission of sins. You had the bloods of blood and ghosts in the Old Testament. And now you got the blood of Jesus which is in the New Testament. His blood is going to cover the New Testament. So now let's go back to Hebrews 9. Hebrews 9 and pick it up at verse 15 one more time. Hebrews 9 and pick it up at verse 15.

When you get there, go ahead, Elder. And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament that by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament Go ahead. They which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. All those people that died even in the first testament they are also going to be called to an eternal inheritance. So now verse 16 go ahead. For what a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the testit. So he got to die. Let's say you got 20 kids.

You left you left your money to one child. After you die them other 19 kids can't touch that money at all. Why? because you didn't leave it to them. You left it to that one person and they are the only ones that can touch it. That's what a testament is. like a will, sisters and brothers. He said, "For what a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of a testator." Verse 17, go ahead. For a testament is a force after men are dead. Go ahead and read. Otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Go ahead. Whereupon, neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. Notice what he said. Whereupon neither the first testament now was dedicated without blood. It was not dedicated without the blood of animals. Now, but now verse 19, go ahead. For when Moses had spoken every pre precept to all the people according to the law, go ahead. He took the blood of calves and of goat. He took the blood of calves and goats. Now notice what Moses is doing now. He said, "For when Moses had spoken every precept of all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats."

What else did he take? Go ahead. With water and scarlet wool, go ahead. In his sight and sprinkled both the book and all the people. And what did he say? Go ahead. Say this is the blood of the testament. Go ahead. God has enjoyed unto you. He said this is the blood of the testament with which God had enjoyed for you. But what testament blood did he use? He surely didn't use Jesus's. He used the blood of animals sisters and brothers. So we got to understand what God is saying. So now verse 22. Go ahead. Moreover, he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry.

Go ahead. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood. Go ahead. And without shedding of blood is no remission. There is no remissance of sin, sisters and brothers, without the shedding of blood. So now let's go to Hebrews 10. And I think we got two more after this. Let's go to Hebrews 10 now. Hebrews 10 and we are going to pick it up at verse one. Hebrews 10 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Go ahead and rock. Go ahead. For the law having a saddle of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereof perfect.

They they couldn't make you perfect, sisters and brothers. So those bloods that they offered year by year, it could not make you perfect. That's why I'm glad we living in the New Testament now because living in the New Testament, you got Jesus that's interceding for you right now. So now verse two, go ahead. For then would they not have ceased to be offered because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Go ahead. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not. Go ahead. But a body hast thou prepared for me. So that he said, but a body hast thou prepared for me. So now verse six, we read this in Psalms 40 verse 6. Go ahead. And burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin. Thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book, it is written of me to do thy will, oh God. Go ahead.

above when he said, "Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither has pleasure therein which are offered by the law." So then what did Jesus say? Go ahead. Then said he, "Lo, I come to do thy will, oh God. He taketh away the first that he may establish the second." What first? The first testament that he may establish the second testament. Go ahead and read. By the which we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Go ahead. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often times the same sacrifices which can never take away sin.

Go ahead. But this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever sat down on the right hand of God. Sisters and brothers. And we read about when they had the sprinkle of blood on the priest's ear and on his hand and all of that stuff and he went up and sat down on the right hand of God. He probably went up there and sat down with the mouse. He said, "Well, you're pretty bloody right now. We going to clean you up a little bit." He said, "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God."

Verse 13, go ahead. From henceforth, expecting to his enemies be made his foottool. So now let's go back to Romans 5 and we got one more after this sisters and brothers and I want to say happy day of atonement to the firstborn. We going to carry this thing all the way too and we going to be clean sisters and brothers like virgins again. We going to be clean. You going to be offered before the Lord as a chase virgin. Let's go to Romans 5 now. Romans 5 and we are going to pick it up at verse six. Romans 5 and we going to pick it up at verse six.

We got one more after this. Romans 5 and six. Go ahead and read. For when we were yet without strength in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Go ahead. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die. Yet for adventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us in death. While we were yet sinners, go ahead. Christ died for us. While we was yet sinners, Christ died for us. Sisters and brothers, while we were yet sinners, that means you were still sin. So now he said Christ died for us.

Go ahead and read. Much more than have now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. He said, "But being much now being justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Sisters and brothers, you saved from wrath through once you come up under the blood. Yes, sir. Verse 10, go ahead. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Go ahead. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Go ahead. By whom we have now received the atonement. through Jesus. Sisters and brothers, we have received the atonement. Verse 12, go ahead. Wherefore, as by one man sin enter the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men. Go ahead. For that all have sinned. Go ahead. For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses. He said death reigned from Adam to Moses, sisters and brothers. So now go ahead and read. even over them that had not stand after the seritude of Adam's transgressor, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Go ahead. But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. Notice what he said. But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. And that free gift is grace. Go ahead and read. For if through the offense of one, many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, whom abounded unto many. Go ahead. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. Even though you offend to God, he still going he going to bring you one of justifications in the end.

He going to still bring it to you, sisters and brothers. So now verse 17, go ahead. For if by one man's offense, death reign by one, much more than which receive abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in the life by one, Jesus Christ. Let's skip down to verse 20. and go ahead and read. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Go ahead. That as sin has reigned unto death. Notice what he said. He said that as sin that reigned unto death.

Now, so when you sin, it reigns unto death. But what else happened once you live by Christ? Go ahead. Even so, my grace reign through righteousness unto the eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. That's what he going to do to us, sisters and brothers. Let's go to the last spot. Let's go to Psalms 32. Psalms 32 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Let's show you what God going to do to you once your sins are forgiven. Let's go to Psalms 32 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Psalms 32 and1. We only got a few and we going to be sitting down and joining the rest of this atonement.

And if anybody need any prayer, this is the day that we do it, sisters and brothers. But I'm going tell you this right here. If you want prayer, you got to make sure that what you praying for that you got to get it out of your life because you can't you can't pray for nobody that's still going to have the same spirit that's going to remain there. Ain't no need to pray for you. Why you like it? Like I heard somebody say last night, how you going to pray for somebody when they done made up in their mind that they going to love pork, you can pray for them all day long.

But if they done made up in their mind that they going to eat pork, it ain't nothing that you going to be able to do about it. So you got to make up in your mind that you want to change. That's the only time that prayer works. Sisters and brothers, you can block your prayers. Don't block your prayers no more. So now let's go to Psalms 32. Psalms 32. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Psalms 32:1. Go ahead and read. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven. Go ahead. Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputth not iniquity.

Go ahead. And in whose spirit there is no God. That's what God want to see. He want to see this in you, sisters and brothers. He said, "Blessed the man to whom the Lord imputth not iniquity and in whose spirit there is no God." So now read that verse five. This is the main important thing. This is what I did at the at the beginning of the lesson. Verse five, go ahead. I acknowledge my sin unto thee. Go ahead. And my iniquity have I hear not don't hide your iniquity. Don't hide it. Go ahead on and confess it so you can get it out of your spirit.

That way you can be free from whatever is holding you down. You can get it out. He said, "I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and my iniquity have I not hid." Go ahead. I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord. Go ahead. And thou forgivest the iniquity of my sins. He said, "Pause right there and stop and think about that." Now, let's skip down to verse 10. Verse 10. Go ahead. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he that trustth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about. Go ahead. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice ye righteous.

Go ahead. Be righteous and shout for joy. He said, "And also a shout for joy." Go ahead. All ye that are upright in heart. sisters and brothers. And that is the atonement, the eternal sacrifice of Christ. And we hope you got some understanding in Jesus tonight.
