In this Sabbath lesson from Israel Church of the Firstborn in Indianapolis, Brother Obadiah teaches on the Comforter and the Spirit of Truth that Jesus promised his disciples. The lesson identifies that Comforter as an entity, the angel Gabriel, the angel of God's presence who comes in the name of Jesus, brings names, skill and understanding, and brings all things to remembrance. It moves from the Gospel of John through the angels of the Old Testament to Gabriel's announcements to Zacharias and Mary. Every passage is read in the King James Version.

1.The Comforter Jesus promised is an entity, not a feeling
The lesson begins where Jesus promises the Comforter. Brother Obadiah teaches that while Jesus was on the earth, Jesus himself was the Comforter, and that when he departed he would send another Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, that comes in his name, teaches all things, and brings all things to remembrance.
St. John 15:26 KJV26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
St. John 14:16-17 KJV16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
St. John 14:26 KJV26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
"We going to deal with the comforter, the one that's known as the Holy Ghost. Ghost really is slang for spirit. When Jesus was on the earth, Jesus was the comforter. But if he would not have died, then he would not be able to send a comforter unto you. This comforter is to aid you, to minister unto you, to give you skill and understanding, and to bring all things that you think you have forgotten to your memory. That's this angel's job."
"And I will pray the father, and he shall give you another comforter. So it's not a feeling. Notice that it said 'he.' This guy is an entity. He going to come in the name of Jesus, and he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance."
When Jesus departs, the Comforter comes to reprove the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to guide the servant of God into all truth.
St. John 16:7-8 KJV7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
St. John 16:13 KJV13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
2.The angels are ministering spirits, but the Son is above them
To place this Comforter, the lesson establishes what angels are. They are ministering spirits, created by God, who shouted for joy at the creation. But the Son is not counted among the angels.
Hebrews 1:14 KJV14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Psalms 148:2-5 KJV2Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
Job 38:4-7 KJV4Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Hebrews 1:5 KJV5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
"Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? This is none other than Gabriel and all his dominion that help him. He is the main ministering spirit."
"For unto which of the angels said he at any time, thou art my son? He never said that to none of the angels, no matter how powerful they are. I believe the Lord had this wrote because he knew people was going to take First John the fifth chapter out of context and start believing that that third entity was God. But he is not God."
3.Lucifer fell, and lost his place in God's presence
The lesson shows that Lucifer was the light bearer who wanted to be like the Most High, was cast down in the war in heaven, and lost the place he had standing before God. Brother Obadiah notes this is the "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven" of Luke 10:18.
Isaiah 14:12-14 KJV12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Revelation 12:7-9 KJV7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
"How art thou fallen from heaven, oh Lucifer, son of the morning. He was the light bearer, he brought the truth. But he said in his heart, I will be like the most high. Satan always add himself to the godhead, because he want to be just like him."
"There was war in heaven, and prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. He was the accuser of our brethren, because he was in his presence. He was the angel of light, the one telling on all the angels, but he was the angel that was dirty. So that job is going to go to Gabriel."
4.Gabriel, the angel of God's presence
The heart of the lesson: only one angel in Scripture says he stands in the presence of God, and puts a name on it. When Gabriel appears to Zacharias, he says so plainly. The Old Testament calls this the Angel with God's name in him, and the angel of God's presence.
St. Luke 1:19 KJV19And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Exodus 23:20-21 KJV20Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
Isaiah 63:9 KJV9In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
"I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God. See, this is the angel of his presence. And in Exodus, behold, I send an Angel before thee. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not, for he will not pardon your transgressions, for my name is in him. So this angel is going to come in the name of Jesus."
"It's only one angel that we read in this Bible that said, I stand in the presence of God, and he put a name on it, and that was Gabriel. And the angel of his presence saved them."
5.What a true angel is, and how God spoke through the angel
To correct the picture of little cherubs with halos, the lesson reads Ezekiel's vision of the four living creatures, and shows that in the burning bush God spoke through the angel, giving Moses the name I AM.
Ezekiel 1:5-6 KJV5Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
Exodus 3:14 KJV14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
"They got you with these little angels with the little halo on their head. That angel don't look nothing like that. Let's show you what a real angel look like."
"The angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of the bush, but God was speaking through the mouth of the angel. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM. That's another one of his names. So this is how we know we dealing with Gabriel, because he bring names."
6.Gabriel gives skill and understanding, and brings names from heaven
The name Gabriel is first spoken by the Lord himself in Daniel, sent to give skill and understanding, and Gabriel comes to Daniel while he is still praying. The same angel is sent to Mary to bring the name Jesus down from heaven.
Daniel 8:16 KJV16And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
Daniel 9:21-22 KJV21Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
St. Luke 1:30-31 KJV30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
"Who was the only angel the Lord called to give him skill and understanding? It was Gabriel. This is the first time you hear the name of Gabriel in the Bible, and who said it? The Lord said it."
"While Daniel was still praying, even the man Gabriel touched him and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. That's this angel's job. That's what the Holy Spirit does. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto Mary, and shall call his name Jesus. Every time this angel brought a name, it came from heaven and it came from the father."
7.The name above every name; believe on the name
The lesson closes on the name. God gave Jesus a name above every name, and the one who does not believe on that name is condemned already. Gabriel is the one who now brings all this to remembrance, testifying of the Son.
Philippians 2:9-11 KJV9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
St. John 3:16 KJV16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
St. John 5:43 KJV43I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
"I am come in my father's name, and ye receive me not. So after this book was written, who do you think is bringing all this to your remembrance about Jesus, the son of God? It's none other than Gabriel."
Closing Word
"So that is Gabriel, the comforter, the spirit of truth, and we hope you got some understanding in it."
Brother Obadiah credited the elders who taught this understanding to the congregation years ago, and closed by pointing the class back to the name of Jesus and the angel who comes in that name to teach and to bring all things to remembrance.

Okay, y'all. We going to go ahead and we going to get started. We going to ask that the women cover your heads. Men, uncover your heads. We going to stand and face the holy, beautiful Jerusalem, the city of the great king. Our father, our father, which art in heaven, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. Thy will be done in earth. in earth as it is in heaven. As it is in heaven.
Give us this day. Give us this day our daily bread. our daily bread. And forgive us of our debts. As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation.
But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom. and the power and the power and the glory and the glory forever forever. It's in Jesus name we pray. Our scripture reading is coming from Psalm 71. Go verses 1-3.
In thee, O Lord. Do I put my trust do I put my trust me not be ashamed. Let me not be ashamed. Deliver me in thy righteousness. And cause me to escape. Incline thy ear unto me.
and save me. Be thou my strong habitation. where unto I may continually resort. Thou hast given me commandments. Thou has given me commandments. To save me.
For thou art my rock. and my fortress. The Lord. What a way to open up. That's what it's all about. It's all about keeping the Lord's commandments, sisters and brothers.
That's what it's all about. And once you keep the Lord's commandments, what did he say? What he just read? He going to be your habitation. So, let's go to Leviticus 23 and let's deal with our Sabbath script. Leviticus 23.
Like I say, a lot of people don't know anything about the Sabbath. That's why we always read it now. And like I say, every week, we got a lot of newcomers, a lot of new people that starting to come to our page. And we want to make sure that you understand what the Sabbath day is, sisters and brothers. Because while the world is pushing the first day as the Christian Sabbath, the true believers of God are going to push the seventh day as the Lord true Sabbath day. So let's go to Leviticus 23.
Leviticus 23. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Leviticus 23. And we going to pick it up at verse one. When you get there, young line, go ahead and read. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Go ahead.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feast of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, and these are my feast. So notice what he said. Now he said speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, he said concerning the feast of the Lord, sisters and brothers. So we all know that God has seven annual Sabbath days, but he also has the weekly Sabbath day and that's what we are dealing with today. Now, but he also said that these are holy convocations which means that they are holy gatherings. So now what did he say at verse three?
Six days shall work be done. Six days shall work be done, sisters and brothers. And we need everybody to understand that. We have a lot of people that's coming to the word and sometimes they might have to work on the Sabbath day. So we not telling you to quit your job or anything like that. But once you come into the knowledge of the truth, you need to be working to get the seventh day off, sisters and brothers.
That's just what it is. Because it's a commandment from God. He said that six days shall work be done. But now keep reading. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest. But this day belong to God.
This day don't belong to you, sisters and brothers, in no kind of way at all. It's for you to get totally refreshed and it's also to increase your wisdom and increase your knowledge and understanding in the word of God and his word. So he set this one day aside for you to rest and for you to get some spiritual deliverance and some spiritual counseling, sisters and brothers. So he said, "Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest." Go ahead and read. And holy convocation. It's a holy convocation.
He shall do no work therein. It is the Sabbath of the Lord and all your dwelling. The Sabbath of the Lord in all of your dwellings, sisters and brothers, no matter where you living at, once you get to this seventh day, and you can count from 1 to seven, that's when the Lord want you to rest. So now let's show you that Jesus didn't deviate from the plan that he told Moses because what we read off in the very first script, he said that the Lord spake unto Moses. So that Lord was none other than Jesus, sisters and brothers. And we can prove that to you.
But let's go to St. Luke the 4th chapter. St. Luke 4. Let's show you what our master and Messiah did. The one that's sitting on the right hand of the father that's making intercessions for the sins of the people.
Let's show you exactly what he did. Let's go to St. Luke the 4th chapter. St. Luke 4 and we are going to pick it up at verse 14. St.
Luke 4 and we go pick it up at verse 14. When you get there, go ahead and read. And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee. And there went out a fame of him throughout all the regions round about. And he taught in their synagogues being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up.
And as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. And stood up for the reason. So this really don't need no elaboration, sisters and brothers. But if you call yourself a follower of Christ, if you call yourself a follower of Jesus, this is exactly what he did. So in order for you to be Christlike, you got to do the things that Christ did. So he said he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up.
And as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. So I want to praise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And peace to everyone here in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I want to say happy Sabbath to my Indianapolis family. It's always an honor and a blessing to stand before you on the Lord's day. And also I want to say happy Sabbath to those that's watching us in Cincinnati, our elders down there.
We also want to say happy Sabbath to you. And also those that's watching us in Connecticut, Brother Todd and your family, we also want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. And also those that's watching us via live, Facebook and YouTube live, we are also we want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. And we are glad to have you with us. And always sisters and brothers, we want to give a round of applause to the brothers and now we do this every week. We do this every week.
We do it every week for a reason now because this one more week that we got a chance to be with one another. And also I want to add and say to our brotherhood text, you going to look for an update in the morning because we going to be adding brother Benny to our brotherhood text. So we want to add him in. So we make sure brother Benny is getting his morning exhortation because one thing that we see off of this brother right here, man, he got hard and we saw that even through his wife and even through his through his kids and through his grandkids. So, we want to welcome you all into the brotherhood of brother Bennett. So, we want to get right into the lesson, sisters and brothers.
And this is a lesson really that Mama Melinda kind of put on my mind about three weeks ago when she came to me and talked to me about it. And the last time I did this lesson was really was over really over about four years ago. So, you know, we want to redo this lesson again. For those that have heard this lesson before, you gonna get a little bit more understanding about it because it's not the easiest lesson for you to understand, especially when you dealing in the spirit realm. So, we going to deal with a little meat today. And what we going to deal with, sisters and brothers, we going to deal with the Holy Spirit.
We going to deal with the comforter and we going to deal with the one that's known as the Holy Ghost, sisters and brothers. Because one thing that we un that we got to understand is those that are unlearned in the Bible when they see the word Holy Ghost which ghost really is slain for spirit. So when they see the word Holy Ghost they think that it's some form of entity that comes into your body and it's something that overtakes you. And that's really not what the case of what it is. So first of all we also have to understand what the Holy Spirit is because the Holy Spirit come in many different forms. now because see the word of God is the Holy Spirit.
You got the father and the son. The father and the son. Those are holy spirits or holy ghost sisters and brothers. And all of the angels that did not follow Satan, which we going to talk a little bit about Satan today. All of those angels are holy, sisters and brothers. But we going to deal with this one entity, the one that stands in the presence of God.
And we kind of read a little bit about this angel about two weeks ago when it was the angel that beared record that Jesus was going to be the Christ or the Messiah when he died on the cross. And that is none other than Gabriel, sisters and brothers. So a lot of people cannot understand who it is. But we going to show you that this Holy Spirit is an entity. And when Jesus was on the earth, Jesus was the comforter. Jesus was the one that comforted all of the people.
But see, Jesus knew that he was going to come and die for the sins of the people. But if he would not have died, then he would not be able to send a comforter unto you, sisters and brothers. So this comforter is to aid you. This comforter is to minister unto you. And this is to give you skill, understanding, and to bring all things that you think that you have forgotten. He going he's going to bring this to your memory.
See, that's this angel's job. And we gonna prove that through the scriptures now. But see, the world ain't going to receive him because they don't know him and neither do they know the father. So this guy is going to be the angel that's going to comfort us. It's going to be the angel of his presence and he going to give us skill and understanding. Just think about it.
You might be reading in the Bible. You might be thinking, man, where is that verse at? Then all of a sudden, you looking for a verse and that verse pops up in your head. Well, that's the Holy Spirit that does that, sisters and brothers. He gives you Yes, sir. He gives you that skill and that understanding.
So, the title of the lesson is Gabriel, the comforter, the spirit of truth. Gabriel, the comforter, the spirit of truth. And I also I want to thank brother Buie and I also want to thank brother Danny because those was the brothers that really came up and showed us years ago back in 1971 of who this confident really is. So anytime we get any knowledge and we get it from our elders, we need to always pay our elders homage, sisters and brothers. So we also we want to thank them as well for doing this lesson years ago for the people that came under them to teach this lesson behind them. So let's go to St.
John the 15th chapter without further ado. And once again, the title of the lesson is Gabriel, the comforter, the spirit of truth. But let's go to St. John the 15th chapter. St. John 15.
And this was right before Jesus was getting ready to get taken in Jerusalem. And he was going to be killed on the Passover. Now, but he had a couple of things to tell his people and those that followed him right before he died because he is getting ready to tell you about his death. But now, let's go to St. John the 15th chapter. St.
John 15. And we are, you know, pick it up at verse, pick it up at verse 13. Pick it up at verse 13. St. John 15. Uh, pick it up at verse 12.
I'm sorry. Verse 12. This is my commandment. That you love one another. As I have loved you. So, right off the rip, this is this is a commandment that Jesus left.
And it's not a commandment to be played with, sisters and brothers. He said, "This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you." So, that's the commandment that Jesus left. So, how do you show love that you love one another? Through keeping the commandments, sisters and brothers. through keeping the law. Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. That's the true love that Jesus gave us now. And we are to implicate this love toward our neighbors. But now he going to show you the greatest of loves. Verse 13, go ahead.
Greater love have no man than this. That a man lay down his life for his friends. So now he said no greater love had no man than this. that a man laid down his life for his friend. See, that's a real friend. That's a true friend.
See, a lot of people don't have that kind of fortitude in their body. See, Jesus knew that he was going to come and die for things that he did not do. He knew that when he died, he was going to be the scapegoat for all of the sins of the people. Now, so he laid down his life for us and through his blood that we are going to get eternal life. And we gonna show you what else that you do with his blood when we get in Revelations later. But now, what did he say at verse 14?
Ye are my friends. If you do whatsoever I command you. So now he said, "You are my friends if you do whatsoever I command you." That's how you show that you are his friend. By keeping the Sabbath day. That's what we talk about people about all the time. See, keeping the Sabbath day is a commandment from the Lord now.
And this is how you show that you love him. So now, and once you do this, what does Jesus say in verse 15? Henceforth, I call you not servants. For the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth. But I have called you friends. For all the things that I have heard of my father, go ahead.
I have made known unto you. He made all these things known unto you. See, he make all his secrets known unto his servants, the prophets, sisters and brothers. Because we going to show you that in this lesson that the Lord don't need to tell all of the angels everything that he do. But he tells the people that deal with the Lord. He tell them his entire plan.
We already know that. We already know that it's going to be a great tribulation period for three and one half years. We already know that the man of sin going to stand in the holy land which is Jerusalem now. And he going to do all. See, God told us all of that stuff. So once we see these prophecies come to pass, the people that know and believe God, they not going to be surprised at these things because see the Lord had already let us know about it.
But now, what else did he say in verse 16? He have not chosen me. You have not chosen me. But I have chosen you. He said, "But I have chosen you." Go ahead. And ordained you.
That he should go and bring forth fruit. That's what Go ahead and read. And that your fruit shall remain. You better listen to what the Lord is telling you right here, sisters and brothers. He said he said you ain't chose me, but I chose you that you should go and bring forth fruit, sisters and brothers, and that your fruit should remain with you. You cannot you cannot partake of this fruit, which is the Holy Spirit, and then turn around and don't let your fruit remain with you.
Once you get that love, that peace, and that understanding in your life, there is nothing that should be able to take you away from that. You got to be able to stay. See, Jesus is looking for the ones that's going to endure in the end for his salvation, sisters and brothers. So now go ahead and read that whatsoever you shall ask of the father in my name. He may give it to you. He going to give it to you sisters and brothers.
And I like we ask the Lord all the time. Lord be with us. Guide us. Guide us while we guide the people. So when we ask the Lord for that, if you ask for it of my father in the name of Jesus, he said he may give it unto you. Verse 17, go ahead.
These things I command you. That you love one another. If the world hates you, go ahead. You know that it that it hated me before it hated you. So don't just think that you on an island by yourself. You dealing with the word of God and don't nobody like you at all.
You going to have people in the word of God even. They going to be still straddling the fence. But the true believers in the word of the Lord, you ain't going to have a lot of friends. See, the world ain't going to testify of you. They not going to speak of their own the way that they speak of you, they going to speak about you in a negative way. And we going to sell you what?
But Jesus already gave you, he gave you knowledge. Now, he said, "If the world hate you, you know that it hated me before it hated you." Verse 19, go ahead. If you were of the world, he said if you were of the world, go ahead. The world would love it. Everybody will love you if you was of the world. Sisters and brothers, you will have people fly all out of town to get when you open up a building, people come fly all around the town just to see you open up the building.
Everybody love you. We talking about the Obama thing. You know, everybody making big uh hoopla over this building. But you got to understand, man, at the end of the day, all them people still work for Satan. So they say, if you were of the world, the world will love his own. But now go ahead and read.
But because ye are not of the world. But I have chosen you out of the world. Therefore, the world hated you. That's why the world hates you, sisters and brothers. Think about your family members. Think about your family members that's not in the word of God.
So everything is cool until the Bible comes up. So once the Bible comes up, you got the biggest enemy that you ever had and they dwell in your house. And it's all because of the word of God. Cuz don't nobody want to deal with the world. So you got to understand when you got a spiritual enemy and they can even be operating in your own home. You got to realize that.
So now keep reading. Remember the word that I said unto you. The servant is no greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, go ahead. They will also persecute you. They going to do they going to do the exact same thing to you.
They persecuted the Lord, sisters, brothers. They persecuted Jesus. Jesus did not die of old age. He did not die an old man. Jesus died because they killed him. And they killed him because of the word that he came in.
They killed him because of his belief, sisters and brothers. Because he came with the word of the father. So if they going to persecute Jesus, quite naturally, they are going to persecute you. So now keep reading. If they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake.
They going to do it all to you because of the name of Jesus, sisters and brothers. And we going to show you another thing that this angel does. See this angel bring names. This angel brings very of the utmost importance of information. That's what he bring. Now he said, "But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake." Go ahead and read because they know not him that sent me.
All because they don't know the father. Sisters and brothers, this is the reason why you be persecuted. So now verse 22, go ahead. If I had not come and spoken unto them, go ahead. They had not had sin. But now they have no cloak for their sins.
That's the reason why he came, sisters and brothers. Not only did Jesus come to save people from their sins, but he also came to root out. He came to take away the cloak. So you don't have no cloak no more because you choose not to serve him. When you choose not to do it, there is no excuse no more. When the books are open before you, when you stand before the Lord, he going to bring this all to your remembrance, sisters and brothers.
And it ain't going to be nothing that you can say about it. The only thing that you going to be able to do is agree with it because you did it. Because he going to sit on the throne and he going to judge in righteousness now. So now verse 23, go ahead. He that hateth me, go ahead. My father also.
So he that hated me hated my father also. So if you hate the name of Jesus, you hate the father too. That's just what it is, sisters and brothers. So you get people think well you know they think that the Holy Spirit can't speak off in other different languages in different form. He can speak in any other language as long as he don't say it in English. And that's what they teach you nowadays because they teaching you against the name of Jesus.
Everybody hate the name. So now verse 24 go ahead. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did. They had not had sin. But now have they both seen and hated both me and my father. But this cometh to pass that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law.
They hated me without a cause. They hated him without a cause. They didn't have no reason to hate her. And we are we read about that about two weeks ago when he was in the judgment hall and everybody was hitting on it. He said my words testify of me if I spoken evil or not. But the only thing that he talked about was good things.
He helped people. He healed the sick. He raised the dead. But now verse 26, go ahead. But when the comforter is come, but he said, but now, now we getting to the lesson now. He said, but when the comforter is come, go ahead and read.
Whom I will send unto you from the father. So this angel is going to come from the father, sisters and brothers. He said, but when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, go ahead and read. Even the spirit of truth, he is going to be the spirit of truth. It ain't going to be no lying about this guy that everything that come out of this angel's mouth is going to be true, sisters and brothers. That's why they called him the spirit of truth.
They said, "But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, even the spirit of truth." Go ahead and read. Which proceedth from the father. He shall testify of me. This angel is going to testify of the of the son. Now, he shall testify of me. And he also shall bear witness.
because you have been with me from the beginning. He said, he said, "And ye also shall bear witness because you have been with me even from the beginning, sisters and brothers." But now, let's show you what these angels do. We got to add in. Let's go to Hebrews 1 real quick. Hold your spot right here. We going to read one verse.
Let's go to Hebrews 1. And we going to read one verse right here. We going to read verse 14. Let's show you what this angel's job is, sisters and brothers. Because see Jesus was giving us what he was just giving us the words of salvation on how to get to him. So now Jesus was ministering to to us while he was here.
So let's show you who going to minister once Jesus went and sat on the right hand of the father. Let's go to Hebrews 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 14. And are they are they not all ministering spirits? He said, "Are they not all ministering spirits?" Go ahead and read. sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. They going to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation.
Sisters and brothers, this the Holy Spirit. This is none other than Gabriel now and all his dominion that help him. So we we know that there are a whole lot of holy angels around. But we know that Gabriel is the main one. He is the main minister in spirit. So now let's go to the creation real fast.
Let's go to Psalms 148. Psalms 148. Because see, God created everything. We know God is omniotent, but we know God created the worlds, which we going to read about. And we also know that God created all of the angels. And the Bible going to bear that out.
So, let's go to Psalms 148. Psalms 148. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Psalms 148. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Let's go.
Let's get into the creation real fast. Psalms 148. Because this was this was when they created the world, sisters and brothers. And we going to put a name on these angels. Psalms 148. And let's pick it up at verse one.
Psalms 148 and1. Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens. Praise him in the heights. Praise ye him all his angels. So notice what he said right here.
Now it said, "Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens. Praise him in the heights." Now then it says, "Praise ye him all his angels." Go ahead and read. Praise ye him all his host. Praise ye him all of his hosts. So not only are the the the angels his host, he going to read some more about his host now.
So it said, "Praise ye him all his angels. Praise ye him all his hosts." Go ahead and read. Praise ye him son and moon. Praise him all ye stars of light. See, God created all of this stuff. And the Bible gonna tell us that.
He said, "Praise ye him, son and moon. Praise him all of ye stars of light." See, we don't understand that because the secret things belong to God. So, how do the sun and the moon and the stars praise him? Sisters and brothers, when you see them, you ask them. I don't know. So, now let's keep reading verse four.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens. And ye waters that be above the heavens. So, now he even talking about the waters. Now, he said, "Praise ye you heavens of heavens. and ye waters that be above the heavens. So once you come into the word, you will understand that there were three heavens, sisters and brothers.
The first heaven is on the earth. The second heaven is in the is in the sky. And the third heaven is where the father and the son and all of the only angel angels dwell. So praise ye heaven of heavens and ye that be above the heavens now. But let's show you who created the angels in the earth. Verse five.
Let them praise the name of the Lord. For he commanded. And they were created. For he commanded and they were created, sisters and brothers. So we talking about the creation, but mostly we talking about the angels. That's what we dealing with today.
See all God created all of the angels, whether they evil or whether they good. He created them all. But they were not all evil in the beginning. We going to show you when the angels went bad. But now listen, we not done with it. Is that it?
Keep going. He has He has also established them forever and ever. He had made a decree which shall not pass. Praise the Lord from the earth. Ye dragons and all the deeps. Fire and hell, snow and vapor.
Stormy wind fulfilling his word. That's what he do. You see the power of the Lord. And we set up here. We be all stressed out over the small things. But do you see who you got on your side?
So that's who you got on your side. See, everything that is made is praising Jesus, sisters and brothers. But now, but we're not done with it. Let's go to Psalms 133. Psalms 133. Let's show you that God created everything.
Psalms 33. I'm sorry. Psalms 33 and we going to pick it up at verse 6. Sorry about that, young l. Psalms 33 and we going to pick it up at verse 6. Psalms 33 and we going we gonna read a little bit about what we just read off in Psalms 148.
Psalms 33 and pick it up. Pick it up at verse six. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made. And we just burned that out, didn't he? He said, "By the word of the Lord, the heavens was made." Go ahead. And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
And we just read all of that, didn't he? He we read about the host of the Lord. He said he said, "For the he said at verse six, by the word of the Lord were the heavens made now and all the host of him by the breath of his mouth." Verse seven, go ahead. He gathered the waters of the sea together as an heap. He lay up the deep in storehouse. Let all the earth fear the Lord.
Let all inhabitants of the world stand in all of him. For he spake and it was done. He commanded. And it stood fast. See, when the Lord when it come out of the Lord's mouth, it don't come back to him void, sisters and brothers. So now we just read it all over again what we just read off in Psalms 148.
So now with verse eight, he said, "Let all the earth fear the Lord. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in him. For he spake and it was done. He commanded and it stood fast, sisters and brothers. Why? Because he is God.
He is perfect." So we just read about the creation of the world. But see, there was a discrepancy once God made the made this earth. He had a couple of these angels that went bad on him. See, it was too much glory. So now let's go to Job the 38th chapter. Job 38.
And we going to pick it up at verse one. Because see we going to run off into Lucifer now because at first Lucifer was the light bearer. And if you don't know who Lucifer is, Lucifer is the devil. That's what Lucifer means, the light bearer. So at one point in time, he brought the truth. But now let's show you.
Let's let's say that. Let's go to Job 38. Job 38. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Job 38. And we gonna pick it up at verse one, sisters and brothers.
So now this is the creation of the world. And let's show you how all of them was having a good time once they created the world. But then that's when that vain glory going to kick in. And then you going to have some people going to want to try to take over the seed of God. So now Job 38 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Job 38 and1.
Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, "So now he getting on Job now because see, he got mad at Job. He knew that he was righteous. But see, the only mistake that Job had made was he was trying to justify himself that he was righteous." See, you don't have to do that. See, the truth don't need no validation at all. And you got to understand that the truth speak for itself. That's right.
So now he got he got a little mad at Job. He said, "And the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, Go ahead and read. Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without mouth?" How you going to open up your mouth? So you think you got some knowledge, Job, let's see how much knowledge that you truly am. That's what God asked him. So now verse three, go ahead.
Turn up now like a man. For I would demand of thee. And answer thou me. So now I want you to answer me, Job. You think you got all this knowledge and that's why I don't ever think that I'm too big for my bridges. However much that you think that you know is how much that you don't know about God at all.
That's what you got to understand. There's always room for improvement. Like I say, practice don't make perfect. Practice make better. It makes you better. You ain't going to never be perfect like that.
Only the Lord knows those who are perfect. So now go ahead and read verse four. Where was thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if thou has understanding. So now he said, "Woe was thou when I laid the foundations of the earth." We just read the foundations of the earth. But we know that the Lord had these angels that gave that he gave a commandment that helped him make this beautiful earth that we live in.
So now keep reading. Who had laid the measures thereof? If thou knowest Go ahead. Or who have stretched the line upon? Oh, who has stretched out a line upon it? I mean, you can if you walking around here and off in this day and time and you still think that the earth is round, something is wrong with you.
The man just told you right here in this verse on how the world actually look. So now notice what he said. He said, "Whoever laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest, or who had stretched the line upon it now, so now verse six, go ahead. Where upon put on the foundations thereof fast?" Go ahead. Or who laid the cornerstone thereof? So now verse seven, go ahead.
When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy. See, once they created the world, it was a big party, sisters and brothers. See, they have been dwelling up in the third heaven for we don't know how long. So now they have created this beautiful world that we live in and it was a marvelous celebration. See, it's parts of this world that's so beautiful. We never seen that.
We never seen certain lands in Africa and certain lands in Thailand with all of those seas and lakes and stuff like that. We gonna see it one day. So we we we even got some right here in America. So this world is beautiful, sisters and brothers. And when he created this world, it was to last forever. So he said when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy.
That was all of them. There was no evil angels at this time that we reading about. But now keep reading. Or who shut up the sea with doors? When it break forth ahead as if it had issued out of the womb. That is always when I see the Lord, I'mma ask him, how do you do that?
How do you do that? How do you make all this water on the earth and know unless you cause that water to come up on the land, it don't go past the bounds of that sand. It go all the way back. And you got so much water on this earth that you can't even touch the bottom of it in certain places. Now, so that let you know the world that you living in. So these morning stars, these sons of God, they were all of the angels, sisters and brothers, because see, man wasn't created yet.
So now, let's keep let's keep reading. Is that it? Okay, let's go to Revelations 12 now. Revelations 12 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Revelations 12 and we going pick it up at verse one. So the Lord done made this earth and he know he know where his throne was going to be at.
He had already chose Jerusalem before the foundations of the world. He knew where he was going to be. But now somebody else wanted that glory. Somebody else wanted to be like him. And he going to get disinherited and somebody else going to pick up his job. So now let's go to Revelations 12 now.
And we going to pick it up at verse one. Revelations 12 and one. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven. a woman clothed with the sun and the moon was under her feet and upon her head a crown of 12 stars. So we all know what these constellations what they represent right here, sisters and brothers. He said, "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven." He said, "A woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of 12 stars." This is talking none other than the 12 tribes of the children of Israel, sisters and brothers.
So what he is doing, he's speaking unto you in a parable now. But now what happened at verse two? And she being with child cry travailing in birth. And pain to be delivered. So it was a lot of problems with this nation sisters and brothers. They said she being with child cry travailing in birth and pain to be delivered because see Israel was suffering.
But Israel was suffering because of their disobedience toward God. So what did Israel need? Israel needed a savior. They needed somebody to come and save them. Now so now keep reading. And there appeared another wonder in heaven.
So now he going to get another vision. He said, "And there appeared another wonder in heaven." Go ahead. And behold, a great red dragon. And go ahead and read. Having seven heads and 10 horns. And seven crowns upon his head.
So this is none other than Satan's dominion, sisters and brothers. This is the revived Roman Empire. He said, "And there appeared another wonder in heaven. And behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and 10 horns and 10 and seven crowns upon his head. We going to break what that is down in another lesson coming up real soon. But this is the revived Roman Empire, sisters and brothers.
And they going to get their seat from the dragon which is none other than. So now verse four, go ahead. Go read that verse four. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven. See, Satan was powerful now because he was the light bearer. So he got he said and his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven them morning stars that we just talked about the angels.
So now we getting bad angels that's coming into the fold now. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven. And then cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered for to devour her child as soon as it was born. As soon as it was born. So now read verse five.
And she brought forth a man child. And this is none other than Jesus. Now he said, "And she brought forth a manchild." Go ahead and read. Who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up unto God. And to his throne.
See, we just read about that sister, brother. See, that was Jesus. See, Jesus came and died for the sins of the people. And what happened? He went up and sat down on the right hand of the throne of the father. waited till all of these to all his enemies become his foottool.
But now we ain't going to read verse six. Let's skip down to verse seven now. And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. And the dragon fought and his angels. And the dragon fought at his angels.
Now, so these are immortals fighting up in heaven. That's something that we can't fathom. See, we see missiles and rockets and all type of bombs they have underwater. And we think that that stuff is beautiful. But see, we've never seen the immortals fight. So this is a this is a battle that none of us can put in our eyes to kind of what this battle looked like when you had angels fighting against one another.
So now go ahead and read. And prevailed not. So these angels lost now. So when so so when this war when he fought against the dragon, they prevailed not. Neither was their place found anymore in heaven. So they couldn't stay up in heaven no more.
You can't be up here with the Holies of Holies. So, we going to send you somewhere. He said, "Neither was their place found anymore in heaven." Go ahead and read. And the great dragon was cast out. That great dragon was cast out. That old serpent.
They called him the serpent because he wise, sisters and brothers. That's why they called him the serpent. So now, keep read. Called the devil. He was called the devil. And Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, which deceiveth the whole world.
So that's why the world don't like you because Satan deceived the whole world. That's why Jesus said earlier that if if if they if the world hate you, know that it hated me before that it hated you. Why? Because Satan is deceiving everybody. That's why we got to give people a break. We got to give people from the snare of the devil.
And we going to show you in this chapter how you get past that. So now keep reading. Go ahead. He was cast out into the earth. He was cast. But notice see if it was that's how we know that this battle took place after the earth was created.
That's why we went into the creation first because of there how would how where would he cast them out to if the earth wasn't around. So that's how we know when all of the morning stars sang for joy. It was after that moment when everybody got in trouble and that was his big hoopla about the earth. So Satan tried to take over the throne of God and we going to read that. So now keep reading. and his angels were cast out with him.
His angels was cast out with. So now let's uh keep going. I heard a loud voice saying in heaven. Now has come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God. And the power of his Christ. For the accuser of our brethren is cast down.
Which accuse them before our God day and night. So what you read right now, this is why you start this is why you start the prayer off with our father who are in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, do thy will in on earth as it was done in heaven. So they set judgment in heaven. So that's what he said.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ. For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Why? Why was he accusing him? Because he was in his presence. He was the angel of light.
So he was the one that was telling on all of the angels, but he was the angel that was dirty, sisters and brothers. So now, if you think you can defeat Satan by any other way, let's show you the only way that you can defeat him. Verse 11, go ahead. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb. That's the only way you can overcome Satan. No other way.
You can't play him away. You can't do none of that. You got to come under the blood of Jesus. Now that's he said and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb. So that's why that blood was precious when he said this is my blood of the new testament. You can't break that at all.
So you can you can you can use this blood to get rid of sin. You can come up under the blood when you take of the Passover and you can overcome all of this evil dominion by the blood of the lamb. And by the word of their testimony. And they love not their lives unto the death. That means they would have died for the Lord, sisters and brothers. That's what we reading about.
So now, is that it? That's it. Now, let's go to Isaiah the 14th chapter. Isaiah 14. And we going to bear that out. So, he thought he was going to be like God, but no, you ain't going to be like me, partner.
You going to be cast down to the earth. Now, I didn't put it in this lesson, but if you read about the first, we gonna go to Isaiah 14, and we gonna start at verse 12. But if you start reading Isaiah 14 around verse 8, you will see that he was talking to Satan there as well. But now let's go to Isaiah 14, but we going to pick it up at verse 12 right now. Isaiah 14. And we going to pick it up at verse 12.
14 and 12. How art thou fallen from heaven, oh Lucifer. So notice what he said. How art thou fallen from heaven, oh Lucifer? Son of the morning. He was the son of the morning.
Now that means that he was the lightbearer. He brought the truth. How art thou fallen from heaven, oh Lucifer, son of the morning. How art thou cut down to the ground. Which did weaken the nations. He weakened the nations.
You want to see a prime example of it? Go downtown by the Circle City and you going to see the biggest gas parade in the world down there. That's how we doing it. That's how we doing it, sisters and brothers. So now that's how he weakened the nations because they think that it's okay for them to be gay. Well, who put that thought in their mind?
The devil did, sisters and brothers. So now verse 13, go ahead. For thou has said in thine heart. I will ascend into heaven. That's what he said. Now we said in his heart, I will ascend into the heaven.
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. See this? That that's going to be a big problem. You ain't going to take over what I got. You ain't going to build on my foundation. Now, I'll give you some devilish children if you want on this earth, and I'm going to come back and destroy all y'all together, but you ain't going to take over my seat.
So, now go ahead and read. I will sit also upon the mountain of the congregation and the sides of the north. And that is none other than Jerusalem. We didn't put it in, but he said, I will also sit upon the mount of the congregation and the size of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high.
That's what he want to do, sisters and brothers. That's what Satan, why do you think Satan always add himself to the godhead? Because he want to be just like him. So, we didn't put it in this lesson today. But when you go and read off in first John 5, they teach in the in the in the church that that other uh uh uh uh uh Holy Spirit was God. But he is not God.
He is not that. So now he said, "For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north. He said, I'mma be just like the most high. But no, you ain't, partner.
But now, what what did the Lord say going to happen to him? Verse 15, go ahead. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell to the sides of the pit. That's where you going to sit on the sides of not in Jerusalem. You going to sit in the side of that fiery pit. That's where you going to be.
So now, hold your finger right here. We got another ad in. Let's go to St. John the 10th chapter, St. John 10. We got one verse right here because Jesus go make a statement concerning he saw this guy fall from heaven.
So that let you know the longevity of how how old Jesus truly is. So now let's go to St. John 10. St. John 10. And we going to read one verse.
We going to read verse 18. St. John 10. And we are going to read verse 18. St. John 10 and 18.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. Hold on. I wrote that down. Roll. We ain't going.
We Let's leave that one out. But you you remember the verse where he said, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." We'll go back and find it at the end of the class. I wrote that one down wrong. But let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to St. Luke, the first chapter.
St. Luke 1. We We'll get it. We'll get it in the end. We'll go back to it. I think I wrote it down on the wrong one.
But y'all know the verse where he said, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." Let's go to St. Luke 1. St. Luke 1. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Trust me, we going to find it before this lesson is over with.
We I'm not going to let y'all off the hook with it. Let's go to St. St. Luke 1 and let's pick it up at verse one. St. Luke 1 and we going to pick it up at verse one.
St. Luke 1 and one. When you get there, go ahead and read. For as much as many have taken in hand to send forth an order declaration of those thieves which are most surely beloved among us, even as they delivered them unto us, which from the be were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word. It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things, from the very first to write unto thee in order, most excellent theophist. that thou mightest know that the that thou mightest know the certainty of those things wherein thou has been instructed.
There was in the days of Aaron, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zachchariah. Of the course of Abia, and his wife was of the daughter of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. So now we going to read. So we reading about John the Baptist parents now. So we going to give you a little introduction to this angel. So pay attention to what's going on.
He said, "When there was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zachcharias of the course of Abay, and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth." Now, so these people were straight Levites. So now verse six, go ahead. And they were both righteous before God. Walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord. See, this is a perfect marriage, sisters and brothers. This is what a marriage is supposed to be.
He said that they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinance of the Lord blameless. Now, and we already had read earlier that the Lord said that if you love me, you will keep my commandments. So, that's what makes your marriage holy. What makes your marriage holy is God, sisters and brothers, and you keeping her commandments. So, now verse seven, go ahead. And they had no child.
So, since she had no child, go ahead. Because that Elizabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years. And it came to pass that while he had executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course according to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. So his lot was to burn incense when he went to the temple of the Lord. And he didn't do what Aaron's sons did. So he learned from his greatgrandfathers.
So he wasn't in there burning incense to pagan gods. So he was actually that was his job that he burned incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. So now verse 10 go ahead. And a whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the office. So we go.
So now so now so there's an angel that's standing in there now. So when he went into the temple he said and there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. So we going to show you who this angel was. Verse 12, go ahead. And when Zachariah saw him, go ahead. He was troubled.
And fear fell upon him because he saw this angel in his glory. Now, so he didn't just walk in and see nobody. He walked in and he saw this angel. So once he saw this angel, he was troubled and fear fell upon him. But now what happened? Verse 13.
But the angel said unto him, go ahead. Fear not, Zachariah. He said, "Fear not, Zacharias." And we going to show you why you going to be scared of a little bit later. And the angel said unto him, "Fear not, Zacharias." Go ahead and read. "But our prayer is heard." Just notice what he what the angel is telling him. He said, "Your prayer is heard." Go ahead.
And thy wife Elizabeth shall bear a son. And thou shall call his name John. And thou shalt call his name John. So y'all can't name this child now because see this guy going to be the prophet of the highest. And we going to name him. See, that's one thing that this angel does.
This angel brings names. Very important names. See what people got to understand, not only was the name of Jesus never heard before, but the name John came from heaven too. Nobody heard that name at that time. Nobody ever used it. So now keep reading verse 14.
And thou shall have And thou shall have joy and gladness. And many shall rejoice at his birth. Many shall rejoice at this child's birth. So what is he going to be? Verse 15. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord.
He shall be great in the sight of the Lord. and shall drink neither wine nor a strong drink. So this guy was going to be a Nazerite. He was going to be like Samson was. He wasn't going to drink no wine. He wasn't going to cut his hair.
That's how John the Baptist had. Look now. So this guy was going to be a Nazerite. He shall be filled with the Holy Ghost. And he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost. Even from his mother's womb.
The child is holy. How many times do we see that in children? But see, it happened with John and it also happened with Jesus. These guys was young because they weren't around for a long time. Both of, as a matter of fact, John the Baptist got killed before he was 30 years old. But now, keep reading.
And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. He shall go before him in the spirit and the power of Elijah. To turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just. to make ready a people prepare for the Lord. He said to make ready a people prepare for the Lord. This was going to be his job.
Now, but now verse 18, go ahead. And Zachchariah said unto the angel, Go ahead. Whereby shall I know this? For I am old, I am a old man and my wife well stricken in years. And the angel answered and said unto him, Go ahead. I am Gabriel.
That stand in the presence of God. But notice what he said. He said, I am Gabriel now that stand in the presence of God. See, this is going to be the angel of his presence, sisters and brothers. But he said, "My name is Gabriel, and I stand in the presence of God." But one thing I'mma show you right here, we're in the New Testament right now. See, he introduced himself.
But we going to show you when God introduced his name first. So God going to introduce this angel in the Old Testament. So now, keep reading. And I'm sent to speak unto thee. And I am sent to speak unto thee. To show thee these glad tidings.
So I'm here to bring you some good news now. So now, but what did John the Baptist do? Verse 20. And behold, thou shalt be done. He said, "Behold, thou shalt be dumb." Go ahead. And not able to speak until the day that these things shall be performed.
Because thou believest not my word. But shall be fulfilled in their seed. Once he bring you a message, don't doubt the message now. Because see this angel don't play around. He ain't going to hold you giftless. Now he can't fight all that good.
We going to show you that. He ain't no warrior angel. But he can do whatever he want to a human being. So he said at this point in time you gonna be dumb and not able to speak because thou believest not the words which shall be fulfilled in their season. So now is that it? Two more.
Oh, two more. And the people waited for Zachariah. And marvel that he carried so long in the temple. So they said, "Where we at now?" Because it was it was the hour of prayer that he was supposed to come out. So the people was waiting on Zachariah and marvel that he carried so long in the temple. Verse 22, go ahead.
And when he came out, he could not speak unto them. He probably was like saying everything and couldn't even talk to him now. And when he came out, he could not speak unto them. And they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple. For he beckoned unto them. And remain speaking.
He couldn't say nothing because see, he didn't believe now. So you can't provoke this angel at all. You got to believe all of the words that this angel bring unto you because he stand in the presence of God. So we gonna prove that. So now let's go to Exodus 23. Exodus 23 now.
And we going to pick it up at verse 20. Exodus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse 20. We got one more ad in. I know I wrote that one down right. I probably wrote the other one down too fast, but brother David gonna give it to me in a little while. But let's go to Exodus 23 now.
And we going to pick it up at verse 20. You want to obey this angel because he stands before the Lord now and he takes its instructions from God. So now let's go to Exodus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse 20. Exodus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse 20. Yep. Exodus 23.
We going to pick it up at verse 20. Behold, I sent an angel before thee. Notice what he's saying now. What the Lord is saying. He said, "Behold, I send an angel before thee." Go ahead and read. To keep thee in the way.
So that what? So to keep thee in the way. So if if an angel is keeping you, what is he? He's like a comforter. I'm protecting you. I'm like a sanctuary.
So he said, "Behold, I sent an angel before thee to keep thee in the way." Go ahead and read. And to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. He said, "I'm going to bring you into the place which I have prepared for you. You ain't going to have to do nothing to it at all. The only thing you got to do is go over there and obey. But now verse 21, go ahead.
Beware of him. That's what he told him. Beware of this angel. And obey his voice. Provoke him not. And don't provoke him not.
Because see, he ain't playing around. This angel don't play now. He said, beware of him and obey his voice. Provoke him not. For he would not pardon your transgression. For my name is in.
So he ain't going to do what Satan do. Satan might not tell on you all the way to the Lord. That's why he don't have that job no more. That's why this job is going to go to Gabriel. He said, "Beware of him and obey his voice. Provoke him not for he will not pardon your transgressions, for my name is in him." So his name going to be in his angel.
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, go ahead. And do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy unto thy enemy. And an adversary unto thy adversary. I mean, wouldn't you want that, sisters and brothers? Don't you want the Lord to fight for you? That if you obey him, that's why the Lord say, "Hey, when you when when you when you got an enemy and they don't like you, if you obey the Lord, then I'm going to put your enemies at peace with you, sisters and brothers." So, who do you think doing that?
That's none other than God. So, now verse 23, go ahead. But my angel shall go before thee. My angel shall go before thee. and bring thee unto and bring thee in unto the Amorites and the Hittites and the Parasites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites and I will cut them off. And he going to cut them off, sisters and brothers.
And he didn't cut them off at one time. He sent hornets sitting there throw them throughout the year and he drove them out of the land. So now hold your spot right here. Let's go to Isaiah 63 real fast. Isaiah 63 and we going to pick it up at verse 7. So, y'all remember when we read that he was the angel of his presence?
Let's show you who that is, sisters and brothers. Let's go to Isaiah uh 63 and we going to pick it up at verse 7. Isaiah 63 and we going to pick it up at verse 7. 63 and 7. I wish I could read that verse one right now, but we going we going to save that for another lesson at ver at another time. So now Isaiah 63, boy Daryl be having us hot looking.
Hey man, we done found out so much about them people, man. If you know about what these are into and what they doing, you know, you know. Anyway, Isaiah 63 and 7. We got that coming. Verse 7. I will I will mention the love and kindness of the Lord.
And the praises of the Lord according to all that the Lord have bestowed on us. and a great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he had bestowed on them according to his mercies and according to the multitude of his loving kindness. For he said, "Surely they are my people." Go ahead. Children that would not lie. He was their savior. So he was their savior.
I mean, I don't know where where we at now, but this how the Lord thought about us at first. Now we was the apple of his eye. He said, "For he said, surely they are my people, children that will not lie." So he was their savior. So now verse nine, go ahead. In all their afflictions, he was afflicted. In all of their afflictions, he was afflicted, sisters and brothers.
So the 430 years that Israel was afflicted down in Egypt, the Lord beared all of that. That's why when he heard the cries of the people, he sent Moses to go down and deliver the people. But now he said in all their affliction, he was afflicted. And the angel of his presence saved him. It's only one angel that we read in this Bible that said, "I stand in the presence of God." And he put a name on it. And that was Gabriel, sisters and brothers.
So he said, "And the angel of his presence saved them." Go ahead and read. In his love and in his pity, he redeemed them. And in his love and in his pity, he redeemed them. And he bare them. And carried them all the days of old. And he bare them and carried them all of the days of old.
So all of the goodness that God did to us, what did we turn around and do to him? Verse 10. But they rebelled. And vex his holy spirit. But they rebelled and they vexed his holy spirit. Well, the Lord already told you to obey him now.
Because if you don't obey this guy, he ain't going to pardon your transgressions. So that he had to bear going back to tell the Lord all of what the children of Israel was doing when they were sinning in the wilderness. He had to tell on them, sisters and brothers, because his name was in them. So now start that over from the top again. Verse 10. Israel.
But they rebelled and vexed his holy spirit. Therefore, he was turned to be their enemy. And he fought against them. He fought against Israel. Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, "Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock?" Go ahead. Where is he that put his holy spirit within him?
Where is he that put his holy spirit within them, sisters and brothers? He telling you all that he did for his people, but we still turned around and did them wrong, sisters and brothers. But you know, go ahead on and read that verse 12. Read that verse 12. That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm. Divide the waters before them.
To make himself everlasting name. To make himself an everlasting name. And we going to read that everlasting name in a little while. And we also going to show you who brought that everlasting name. We gonna read about that a little bit later. So now let's go a little bit further now.
Let's go to Hebrews the first chapter. Let's go back to Hebrews 1. And we going to read a couple of verses right here. A lot of people don't understand what an angel look like. Well, you going to understand once we read this and then you going to understand the reason why uh Zachcharias, which is John the Baptist father, why he got scared when he saw that angel standing by that al. See, they got you with these little angels with the little halo on their head, little white dolls and all that stuff.
That angel don't look nothing like that. That's a devil. That's what a devil look like. But we going to show you what a real angel look like. Let's go to Hebrews 1. Hebrews 1.
And we going to pick it up. He going to pick it up at verse 5. Hebrews 1. For unto which of the angel said he at any time, go ahead. Thou my son, Go ahead. This day have I begotten thee.
See, I believe the Lord I believe the Lord had this rope because he knew what was that people was going to take that first John the 5th chapter and take it out of context and start believing that that third entity was God. That's why I believe that he wrote this sisters and brothers he said for unto which of the angels said he at any time thou art my son. He never said that to none of the angels sisters and brothers no matter how powerful they are. And again I will be to him a father. He said and again I will be to him a father. And he shall be to me a son.
And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he said, go ahead. And let all the angels of God worship him. And and if you go off and I think that's off in St. Luke the 2 chapter when Jesus was born, they had all of the heavenly host praising God. Said, "Peace on earth, good will toward men once he was born, sisters and brothers." But now go ahead and read. And of the angels, he said, "Who maketh his angel spirits?" Who maketh his angels spirits?
And his ministers a flame of fire. See, these angels got the presence of fire on them, sisters and brothers. So you got people thinking they seeing UFOs and stuff like that. No, you seeing angels that's going by that fast in the sky. That's what you seeing, sisters and brothers. So we all we do.
So we know that these angels have the appearance of fire. So now let's go a little bit further now. Let's go now to Ezekiel the first chapter. Let's go to Ezekiel 1. Let's deal with what an angel look like. For those that already know, you know, but this going to be a great reviewer for some of us.
Let's go now to Ezekiel the first chapter. And let's show you what a true angel look like. Now, let's go to Ezekiel 1 and we going to pick it up at verse three. Ezekiel 1 and we going to pick it up at verse three. When you get there, go ahead. Ezekiel 1 and uh uh uh verse three.
The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest the son of Boozy in the land of Calaldans by the river Chabar and the hand of the Lord was there upon him. And I looked and behold a whirlwind came out of the north a great cloud and a fire unfolding itself. So notice what he's saying now. He said, "And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north." He said, "A great cloud and a fire unfolded in itself." Go ahead and read. And a and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, and out of the midst of the fire. Also, out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures.
So, he said, "Also out of the midst thereof there came the likeness of four living creatures, sisters and brothers. And these four creatures that you are reading about are the four angels that scattered the children of Israel. So now you can go to Zechariah the first chapter and be burned out. So he said also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four creatures. And this was their appearance. They had the likeness of a man.
So now he said they had the likeness of a man. Now go ahead. And everyone had four faces. Everyone had four faces. And everyone had four wings. And every one of them had four wings.
And their feet were straight feet. And the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf foot. And they sparkle like the color of burnish grass. So now you imagine you walk off and you you walk in your house. You just now coming home and you flip the light on and you see something standing like this in your living room. You think you ain't going to get scared.
You going to get super scared. You you you rather go you you rather have Jason in there with a mask and a and a and a and a saw in his hand or something than to see a guy like this. So he said, "And their feet were straight feet, and the soul of their feet was like the soul of a cast foot, and they sparkled like the color of burning brass." How else did they look? Verse eight, go ahead. And they had the hands of a man under their wings, on their four sides, and they four had their faces in their wings. Their wings were joined one to another.
They turned not when they went. That's how it is. So they turn not when they went. They ain't got to turn. I got four faces. I can look north, west, eastern or north and south.
I can look all of that. So when they go on a straight path, sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. They went everyone straight forward. As for the likeness of their faces, go ahead. They they four had the face of a man. So now all four of them now, they had the face of a man.
And the face of a lion on the right side. And they also had the face of a lion on the right side. This is what a biblical angel look like, sisters and brothers. And they four had the face of an ox on the left side. They four also had the face of an eagle. And then they also had the face of an eagle on it.
So this is what an angel look like. Who want to run up on this? You and if you want up on one of them, you better be you better make sure your house is in order because you can't deal with this. See, this is the spirit realm that you reading about. So now keep reading. Thus was their faces, and their wings were stretched upward.
Two wings of every one were joined one to another. And two covered their body. Like I do the example all the time. They had two wings up in the air and then they had the other wings that was covering their bodies. Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. And they went everyone straight forward.
Whether the spirit was to go, he said whether the spirit was to go. Now the the face of the eagle might say, "Man, let's go to the north." And then you might have the face of a man say, "Hey, let's go down to the south." They just gonna go in a straight line when they travel. Sisters and brothers, that's how these angels move. They go, they went and they turned not when they went. And they turned not when they went. As for the likeness of the living creature, their appearance was like burning coals of fire.
So, so once again now, what are they associated with? They are associated with fire. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance who like the burning co of fire. And like the appearance of lamp, go ahead. It went up and down among the living creatures. So, go ahead and read.
And the fire was bright. And out of the fire went forth like And out of the fire went forth lightning, they got fire and and lightning going up and down their bodies, sisters and brothers, like electricity. So that little stuff that they try to show you with Shazam, y'all remember Shazam with the lightning and all that flash, that ain't what? No, that's all that's all make believe, sisters and brothers. But see, they actually had fire and the lightning going up and down their bodies. Now, so this is how these angels look.
Verse 14, go ahead and read. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. As the appearance of a flash of lightning, that's why when I see that lightning in the sky and it go boom boom, I want that's God speaking. And those are also angels traveling, sisters and brothers. That's what you seeing when you see this stuff. So now, yes, sir.
So now let's go a little bit further now. Let's go a little bit. Let's go deal with Moses. Let's go to Exodus the third chapter. So that's when when you see all of that stuff, you you you understand that's God, sisters and brothers. Nobody can do that but the Lord.
That ain't no static and no starch coming up from the earth, whatever they try to teach. See, science was created to disprove the Bible. That's what they did signs for. And and and Paul even warns you against oppositions of signs. So now let's go to Exodus the 3r chapter. Now we going to pick it up at verse one.
Exodus 3 and we going to pick it up at verse one. So notice what's going on now. So we go let's let's go then. Let's go Exodus 3 and let's pick it up at verse one. Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the backside of the desert and came to the mountain of God, even to Hore.
And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire. So, who appeared unto him now? The angel of the Lord. Now, the the notice it was the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of the bush. And he looked and behold, the bush burned with fire. And the bush was not consumed.
See, that should be enough to make anybody scared. Now, you see a bush that's on fire, but the bush ain't ain't it's not it's not being consumed. But inside of this bush, it was fire. So now, but this was the angel that was that was visiting Moses out of the bush. So now verse three, go ahead. And Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight.
Why the bush is not burned. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses, and he said, Here am I. And he said, here am I. Now go ahead and read. And he said, draw not draw not hither. Put off thy shoes from off thy feet.
For the place where on thou standest is holy ground. Moreover, he said, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face for he was afraid to look upon God. So he was afraid to look upon God. But who was really in the bush now? It was really it was really an angel that was burning in the bush.
But God was speaking through the mouth of the angel. So now let's skip down to verse N. Skip down to verse N and go ahead. Now therefore, behold, the crowd of the children of Israel has come unto me. And I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppressed them. So it was somebody that was in the crowd, sisters and brothers, that still knew God.
So he said, "Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me, and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them." So now, keep reading. Come now, therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt. So you going to bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt? Now go ahead and read. And Moses said unto God, Go ahead. Who am I that I should go unto Pharaoh and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
So like I tell people all the time just about the position that we got right here with our readers. You think it ain't easy? It's hard for us. So can you imagine when God chose one man to lead to lead a whole nation of people from pe from another people that's oppressing them. That's a really big job. So Moses didn't want that job sisters and brothers.
He said, he said, "Who am I that I should go forth and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?" Verse 12, go ahead. And he said, "Certainly, I will be with thee." He said, "Don't worry about it, Moses." He says, "Certainly, I will be with thee." Go ahead. And this shall be a token unto thee. And this shall be the token unto thee. That I have sent thee when thou has brought forth the people out of Egypt. Ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
He said, "Ye shall serve God on this mountain." Now when that is in the mountain of Horeb and like I always like to say that is not on the Sinai Peninsula. It's not there. The mountain of Horeb was in the land of Medium where the wilderness was sisters and brothers because they try to tell you that Mount Si is at the bottom of Saudi Arabia. But that's not where it was or it was called the mountain of Horeb. The mountain of Horeb was located in the land of Midian. So now keep reading.
And Moses said unto God, go ahead. Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the God of your father has sent me unto you, and they shall say to me, go ahead. What is his name? What shall I say unto them? Because remember like uh like like like the king fish said when he put off in the group text one time. See, he was only known as God Almighty at first.
He didn't have no other names. So, he was known as God Almighty. So now he talking to this angel through the burning bush. So now he because we know that he bring names, right? So we already got where he named John. So now he going to give Moses his name.
And God said unto Moses, go ahead. I am that I am. He said, I am that I am. And he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, go ahead. I am has sent me unto you. See, that's another one of his names, sisters and brothers.
His name is I am. I am that I am. And that's and and that's all that I am and that's all that I'm going to be and ain't nothing else that we can do about it, sisters and brothers. So he brought another name of God. So this how we know that we dealing with Gabriel, sisters and brothers. So he said and God said unto Moses, I am that I am.
And he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I am has sent me unto you. So they said, well, how do you know that that's Gabriel? Because see Lucifer has already been disinherited. See, man already here now. So this angel been standing before God in his presence as soon as Satan got fired. He took over the job immediately and he is doing an awesome job right now.
So now let's go a little bit further. Is that a young line? One more. And God said moreover unto Moses. Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob has sent me unto you. This is my name forever.
This is my name forever, sisters and brothers. And this is my memorial unto all generations. And this is also my memorial unto all generations, even down to us. We know he came in a name that's even greater than I am, sisters and brothers. When he came in the name of the father, but he is also known that I am. If you want to call the Lord I am, I ain't got no problem with that.
But I'm still going to call him by the name of Jesus. You want to call him Jehovah, I ain't got no problem with that. But I know he came in a name that's greater. Now, yes, sir. Now, let's go to St. John the 8th chapter.
Now, St. John 8. St. John 8. And we going to pick it up at verse 28. St.
John 8 and we going to pick it up at verse 28. St. John 8 and we going to pick it up at verse 28. When you get there, go ahead, young L. Then said Jesus unto them, when ye have lifted up the Son of Man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself. But as my father have taught me, go ahead.
I speak these things. I speak these things, sisters and brothers. He said the Father taught him these words. He said, "When ye have lifted up the Son of Man, then shall ye know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself. But as for what my father had taught me, I speak these things." Go ahead and read. And he that sent me is with me.
The father has not left me alone. I do always those things that please him. So just to throw this in for a little flavor, sisters and brothers, when you do everything that please the Lord, the father going to be with you, too. He going to be right there beside you. He ain't going to leave you or forsake you. You might think you alone, but you're not because you got the father and the son that's dwelling with you now.
So now verse 30, go ahead. And as he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if you continue in my word, then ye are my disciples indeed. That's how you know that you are a disciple of the Lord. If you continue in the words of the Lord, that's the only way that you going to be his disciple. You got to continue with them.
You just can't hear it, but you got to continue in those words. Verse 32, go ahead. And he shall know the truth. And the truth shall make you free. He shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Now we read last week that you know when you increase knowledge you in increase sorrows but you got to deal with the truth and when you deal with the truth the truth going to make you free sisters and brothers the truth is what sets you free.
Verse 33. Then answer him we be Abraham's seed. And we never and we were never in bondage to any man. How sayest thou you shall be made free? Jesus answered them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, who so committh sin is the servant of sin." You better understand what Jesus is saying now. They said, "We be Abraham's seed, were never in abundance to any man." Now, how says, "You shall be made free." I mean, these guys really didn't know what they was talking about because you was in bondage to Nebuchadnezzar.
They had to go back and rebuild the temple that you standing in now. But see, that let you know that these scribes and Pharisees was lifted up. And that's the worst thing that you can do as a man or a woman of God is be lifted up. So that's what these guys was. So now go ahead and read. And the servant abideth not in the house forever.
He said, "And the servant abideth not in the house forever." Go ahead and read. But the son abideth forever. If the son therefore shall make you free, go ahead. You shall be free indeed. You better heard what he said now. He said, he said, "If the son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." Go ahead.
I know that you are Abraham's seed. But you seek to kill me. You see, Jesus had to deal with this, sisters and brothers. He said, "I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill me." Go ahead. Because my word have no place in you. And that's the only reason why they want to kill him.
Because they don't love thy neighbor as thyself. That's what they say. But they don't live it, sisters and brothers. So the only reason why they wanted to kill Jesus because the words that Jesus spake, which was the father's words now, they had no place in their heart. Verse 38. I speak that which I have seen with my father and ye do that which you have seen with your father.
So now he said, I do what I seen with my father. You do what you seen with your father. That's why we made that statement earlier. He told Satan, I give you some children. All of the people that don't want to obey you, that's going to be your seed. He told you that in Genesis the third chapter.
I'm going to put empty between my seed and your seed. So now he said, "I speak that which I have seen with my father, and you do that which you have seen with your father." Verse 39, go ahead. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, if you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. You if you if Abraham was your children, you would do the works of Abraham. He ain't he Jesus don't care about no physical seed, sisters and brothers.
He care about all of the people that's going to walk righteously before him. No matter what your nationality is, that's not your fault. You can't choose what color that you was going to be. God chose that. That's how we know that God is the God of all people. Now, he said, "If you were the ch, if you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham." And what was the works of Abraham?
His belief, sisters and brothers. He believed in God. But now you seek to kill me, a man that have told you the truth. Which I have heard of God. This did not Abraham Abraham didn't do this. Abraham walked to me with some money and some gold and everything.
He rejoiced once I came to him. But now I come to you and you want to kill me. Verse 41. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, go ahead. We be not born of fornication.
Because they was trying to say basically that Abraham committed fornication once he married Hagar the Egyptian. Now he said, "Ye do the deeds of your father." Then say unto him, "We be not we be not born of fornication." Go ahead and read. We have one father. Even God. Jesus said unto them, "If God were your father, you would love me." If God was your father, then you would love me. For I proceeded forth and came from God.
Then he was not playing with these people right here. This is what he was telling you. I come from heaven and I come from God. So now go ahead and read. Neither came out of myself. But he sent me.
Neither came out of myself but he sent me. Why do you not understand my speech? Even because you cannot hear my word. You are your father. You are of your father the devil. He told him straight up, you are of your father the devil.
And the lust of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning. He killed the creation. Sisters and brothers, it was Satan the reason why we throwing dirt on people today. That's why people are died. Death was not a part of the creation.
They said he was a murderer from the beginning. And abode not in the truth. Because there was no truth in him. There was no truth in him. When he speaketh a lot, go ahead. He speaketh of his own.
For he is a liar. And the father of So if you lying all the time, who do you think your father is? If you got a a problem with lying, that's why we tell you all the time, you can't be no liar. The book tell you to speak every man the truth to his neighbor. Because if you lying all the time, then you are of your father, the devil. And I did not write this book.
The Lord wrote this book. So now, let's skip down to verse 54. Do you know skip down to verse 54? You banging right here. I don't want to cut it, but go ahead. Jesus answered, If I honor myself, go ahead, my honor is nothing.
And remember that, sisters and brothers, he said, if I honor myself, my honor is nothing. It is my father that honorth me. Of whom you say, go ahead. That he is your God. That's why. Don't worry about, like I said, don't worry about everybody knowing you and stuff like that.
Don't worry about that. You want to make sure that the father and the son know you. You want to make sure that they love you because see, they love real and they love don't fade unless you cross them. You got to do something to them for them to leave you. Other than that, they gonna be by your side the entire time. So now he said, Jesus answered, "If I honor myself, my honor is nothing.
It is my father that honored me. Of whom ye say that he is your God." Verse 55. Yet he has not known him, but I know him. And if I should say I know him not, go ahead. I will be a liar like unto you. He said, "If I say I know him not, then I'm going to be a liar just like unto you." Go ahead.
But I know him and keep his safe. That's why he won't make he talking real bad to some ruthless guys. Sisters and brothers, just think about a a biker gang, a black biker gang. You going to a bar, you talking crazy to all of them. They gonna probably peel your cap. These are the type of guys.
These are our people that's in our family. That's how these scribes and Pharisees was. So now verse 56, go ahead. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. And he saw it and was glad. He rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad.
Then said the Jews unto him. There are not yet 50 years old. And has thou seen Abraham? Notice what he said right here, sisters and brothers. Then said the Jews unto them, "Thou are not yet 50 years old. Has thou seen Abraham?" You know when you 50 years old, you were elder, sisters and brothers.
That's when you cross over into eldership. So all my days are fast. 20 years old to age understanding, 30 years old to teach, and 50 years old to be an elder. I ain't got no reason to celebrate no birthday no more. They all good now. But now keep reading.
Jesus said unto them, Jesus said unto them, go ahead. Verily, verily I say unto you, go ahead. Before Abraham was, Before Abraham was, Go ahead. I am. He told them straight up who he was. He said, Before Abraham was, I am.
Read that verse 59. Then they took up the stones to cast at them. They took up stones to cast at them. But Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple. Going through the midst of them. And so passed by.
They was trying to see. They was trying to find some stones on the ground to kill him on the spot when he said that. They was ready to kill him on the rock sitting around here, man. Let's get this dude right now. We don't care nothing about no people. But Jesus had to run away from these guys out of the temple going through the midst of them.
as so pass by. So now let's go to Genesis 32. Now let's go back to the beginning. Let's get back to this angel now because this angel brought the name of I am. He brought the name of John. And let show you another name.
See when it come from heaven, it got to be a special angel that bring the message now. So now let's go deal with Jacob. Let's go to Genesis 32 and we going to pick it up at verse 22. Genesis 32 and we going to pick it up at verse 22. Let's show you the everlasting name. We know Jesus Jesus is everlasting to the father.
But Jesus gonna have another name during the eighth day. And I said it first. And nobody knows what that name going to be. But we can go read it. We can go read where it was said. But let's show you the everlasting name.
Now, let's show you the everlasting name. Let's go to Genesis 32. Genesis 32. And we going to pick it up at verse 29. Genesis 32. And we going to pick it up.
I mean on verse 22, I'm sorry. 32 and 22. And he rose up that night and took his two wives and his two women servants. So just to let you know what was going on. The reason why he had to take his family and break them up into parts because he knew he was getting ready to run to Esau now. And he knew that Esau from the past was going to kill them after the death of their father.
So now keep reading. and his 11 sons and passed over the four jabbach. And he took them and sent them over the brook and sent over that he had and Jacob was left alone. So then he sent everybody away from him now. So God he said and he took them and sent them over the brook and sent them sent that over that he had and Jacob was left alone. And there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
And there wrestled a man with him unto the breaking of the day. Now, so to let you know that angels are also known by the name of man. So you can we going to read later they called him the man Gabriel. So he said and Jacob was left alone and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. Verse 25. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him.
He touched the hollow of his thigh. And the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint. As he wrestled with him as he suggested. We told you he can't. He ain't no fighter like that now. But what he he'll do a little something to you.
So now he said that when he saw that he prevailed not against him that means Jacob was whooping his angel that he touched the hollow of his thigh and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joy as he wrestled with him. So now verse 26 go ahead. And he said let me go for the day breakth. He said let me go for the day breakth. And he said I will not let thee go. Except thou bless me.
He said I ain't going to let you go nowhere. Can you imagine being in a fight and you been asking for something good? So this a good fight that they in now. So he said, "Man, let me go for the daybreak. I got to go." But he said, "I will not let thee go except thou bless me." Verse 27, go ahead. And he said unto him, "What is thy name?" Go ahead.
And he said, "Jacob." Go ahead. And he said, "Thy name shall be called no more Jacob." He said, "Thy name shall be no more called Jacob." Now go ahead. But Israel, he said, "But Israel." Go ahead. For as a prince has th power with God and with man. And has prevailed. So this is none other than Gabriel.
Don't nobody want to say it, but we we we're telling you who it is. Just look at the characteristics of what's going on right here. He can't fight. He got to do something to get out of to to get out of it. We going to show you that happened also with Satan. He is the angel of his presence.
And also he is bringing an important name that's coming down from heaven sisters and brothers. So he said and he said thy name shall be no more called Jacob but Israel as for a prince has thou power with God and with men and has prevailed. Is that it? That's it right there. Let's go now. Let's go a little further now.
We got one more. One more. And Jacob asked him and said, "Tell me, I pray thee thy name." Go ahead. And he said, "Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name?" Go ahead. And he blessed him there. So notice now we read earlier where he and our where he introduced himself to Zachcharias.
But we going to show you that God don't introduce he ain't going to name himself after God revealed his name first. And we gonna show you that. So now now let's keep reading. Okay, that's it there. Okay, now let's now let's go to Isaiah 43. Let's go to Isaiah 43.
We going to show you when the Lord going to introduce his name in the Old Testament. And then after that, he told everybody his name. I didn't put the one in here, but he also he also came down and visited uh Samson's parents and he rolled fire into heaven. But we didn't put that story in there this time. Let's go to Isaiah 43 now. And we gonna pick it up at verse one.
Isaiah 43 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. Let's show you that everlasting name, Israel. But see, an angel brought that name. The angel of his presence bought that name, sisters and brothers. And that was none other than Gabriel. Let's go now to Isaiah 43.
And we going to pick it up at verse one. Isaiah 43 and1. But now thus sayeth the Lord that created thee, oh Jacob, and he that formed thee, oh Israel, fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, go ahead. Thou are mine. So that's so the name Israel is the Lord's name, sisters and brothers. That's one of his many names.
And the name of Israel is to have power with God and with men and has prevailed. He said, I have called thee by thy name. Thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee. He said, when thou passest through the waters, he said, I will be with thee. And through the rivers.
They shall not overflow thee. And so now when I take you through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. He He brought the children of Israel through the Jordan River. And he also brought them through the Red Sea. What else did he do with them? When thou walst through the fire, when thou walst through the fire, go ahead.
Thou shalt not be burned. Well, we saw that, too, didn't we? We saw that. We saw that with Daniel, sisters and brothers. We saw that with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abedneo when they was going to put them in the flames of fire. He said, "When thou walst through the fire, thou shalt not be burned." Go ahead.
Neither shall a flame kindle upon thee. Neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. And Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego showed us that, sisters and brothers. So now, verse three, go ahead. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy savior, thy savior. And he said, "For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel." Now, thy savior.
Well, what was that nation that was going to bring forth that manchild that was going to come out of Egypt? He was going to be the holy one of Israel. That's Jesus, sisters and brothers. I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia, Sa for thee. Since thou was precious in my sight, thou has been honorable, and I have loved thee. Therefore will I give men for thee and people for thy life.
Fear not, for I am with thee. He said, fear not, for I am with thee. I will bring thy seed from the east. He said, I will I will bring thy seed from the east. And gather thee from the west. I will say to the north, give up.
And to the south, keep my back. Bring my sons from afar. And my daughters from the ends of the earth. Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth. That's what Jesus going to say when he said in Jerusalem. We going to all go back home, sisters and brothers.
Those that did not make the change and and that did not become God, they going to all go back home. And as a matter of fact, every man going to flee back to his own city and go back to his own land. So now verse eight, go ahead. Even everyone that is called by my name, even everyone that is called by my name. For I have created him for my glory. I have formed him.
I have made him. He said, "I have formed him. Yeah, I have made him." Go ahead. Bring forth the blind people that have eyes and the deaf that have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this and show us former things.
Let them bring forth their witnesses that they may be justified. Or let them hear and say, "It is true." Go ahead and read. You are my witnesses. That's that's what he told the children of Israel. Now, he said, "You are my witnesses." Now go ahead and read. Sayith the Lord.
And my servant whom I have chosen. That's who we are. The Lord chose us to deal with the other nations. Now he said to my servant whom I have chosen. That you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed.
Neither shall be after me. So all these gods you see in the earth don't none of them exist at all. They all under the banner of Satan, sisters and brothers. So there was no God formed before the or after Jesus. He is the only God. So now let's go a little bit further now.
Now let's let's matter of fact let's go to Daniels. Let's go to Daniels the 8th chapter. Daniel's 8. And we go pick it up at verse 15 because see this is when the Lord had introduced the name Gabriel in the Old Testament. Let's go to Daniel's the 8th chapter and we only going to read a couple of verses right here. Let's go to Daniel's the 8th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse 15.
Daniel's 8 and we going to pick it up at verse 15. This was concerning a vision that he had which are the 2300 days which is a lesson we going to be redoing over here pretty soon. But we going we going to get to when the Lord had first introduced this name. So now Daniel's the eth chapter and pick it up at verse 15. And it came to pass when I, even I, Daniel, had seen the vision and sought the meeting, then behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. So once again, now remember we just said now that in the Bible the the angels can be sometimes called man.
He said, "And it came to pass when I, even I, Daniel, had seen the vision and sought for the meaning, then behold there stood before me as the appearance of a man." So now verse 16, go ahead. And I heard a man's voice between the bank of Ulle which called and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. So now, so now, who did the Lord call out of all of the angels that he got? Who was the only angel that he called to give him skill and understand it? It was Gabriel, sisters and brothers. So Gabriel ain't blowing no horn.
That's what they tell you. He gonna do at the he gonna blow the trumpets. No, he's not. He said, "And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Uli, which called and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision." So, this is the first time that you hear the name of Gabriel in the Bible. And who said it? The Lord said it, sisters and brothers.
So, now let's go right into Daniel's the 9th chapter, Daniel's nine, and pick it up at verse one. Let's show you what he was trying to understand. So, now you So, now uh you know what? Let's add this in real quick. We're in Daniel's 8, right? We're in Daniel's 8.
Let's pick it up. Daniel's 8. Read verse 26. Daniel's 8. And pick it up. Pick it up at 26.
And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true. Wherefore shut up the vision, for it shall be for many days. And now Daniel fainted. It was sick certain days. So he got visited by this Holy Spirit. Now, so when he got visited by this Holy Spirit, it had made him sick.
But notice what he did after it. Afterward, I rose up. And did the king's business. And I was astonished at the vision, but none understood. So now go into Daniel's nine and one. In the first year of Darius, the son of Ahazer Ahasseras, the seed of the Mes, which was made king over the realm of the Caldines, in the first year of the reign of in the first year of his reign, I Daniel understood by books the number of years whereof, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he will accomplish 70 years in the desolation of Jerusalem.
And I set my face unto the Lord God to seek my prayer and supplication with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, "Oh Lord, the great and joyful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him." Go ahead. And to them that keep his commandments. That's what the Lord is, sisters and brothers. He said, "And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confessions, and said, Oh Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant now, and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments, those are the ones that the Lord love." See, the Lord don't keep his covenant, but see, man don't break the covenant. And the ones that broke the covenant, those are the ones that the Lord don't love.
He going to repay them to their face. But now, what did he pray? Verse five, go ahead. We have sinned. So now he praying for the nation of Israel. Now he said we have sinned.
And have committed iniquity and have done wickedly and have rebelled even by departing from the pre from thy precepts and from thy judgments. Neither have we hearkened unto the servants the prophets which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. All of the people that tried to get them to understand about the true and living God, they didn't listen to none of them people, man. They didn't listen to Daniel. They didn't listen to Jeremiah. Jeremiah went through it for the people, sisters and brothers.
It was the Lord that had to show Jeremiah in the end mercy by leaving Jeremiah in the land when the children of Israel was scattered all the way out off into the land of the calans. So he kept him in the land. So at verse six, they said, "Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants, the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all of the people of the land." So now, what did he say? Verse seven. Oh. Oh, yeah.
Skip down. Skip down to verse 15. Verse 15. And now, oh Lord our God, thou has brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and has gotten them has gotten thee renowned, as at this day we have sinned. We have done wickedness. Go ahead, oh Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee.
Let thy anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain. See, you got to realize, sisters and brothers, I'm going to set us up for another lesson at another time. The holy mountain is not just the temple mount. The holy mountain is Jerusalem as a whole, sisters and brothers. Because this going to be this going to be for a lesson in the future now. So people say the holy mountain is just a temple mount which is Mount Mariah.
The holy mountain is Jerusalem as a whole. So now he said, "Oh Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee. Let thine anger and thy fear be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain." Go ahead and read. because for our sins. And for the iniquities of our fathers. Jerusalem and our people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
And that's what Jerusalem is today. Even today with with Edom and you have the Gentiles and also the Arabs in Jerusalem today. Jerusalem to this day is a reproach. Everybody laughs at Jerusalem. Keep keep reading. Now therefore, oh our God, hear the prayer of thy servant and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate.
For the Lord's sake, he said, "And let thy let thy face cause upon thy sanctuary that is desolate for the Lord's sake." The Lord just showed me something in verse 17. But now verse 18, go ahead. Oh my God. Incline thy ear and hear. Open thine eyes and behold our desolation in the city which is called by thy name. For we do not present our supplication before thee for our righteousness.
But for thy great mercy. And that's what he is praying for the nations for. The nation didn't do nothing righteous. We was all we was all evil now. But he is intreating God so he can bring great mercies on the people and also for the city of Jerusalem. But now verse 19.
Oh Lord hear. Oh Lord, forgive. Oh Lord, hearken and do. Defer not for thy own sake. Oh my God. For thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
Man, when you righteous before the Lord, all these things that he asking God, look how he talking to the Lord. He bringing it to him, sisters and brothers, he ain't tippy toeing with God at all. See, sometimes when we pray to God, we like to tippy toe with him. He asking, he asking uh God exactly what he want. He said, "Oh Lord, hear, oh Lord, forgive. Oh Lord, hearken and do defer not for thine own sake, oh my God, for thy city and thy people that are called by thy name." So now, while he is making all of this prayer and supplications, what did he say in verse 20?
And while I was speaking and praying and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplications before the Lord my God, for the holy mountain of my God. While I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, whom I had seen in the in the vision at the beginning. Now, he said, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I have seen in the vision at the beginning, go ahead and read. Being caused to fly swiftly, being caused to fly swiftly. Now, go ahead. Touch me about the time of the evening oblations.
What's the evening oblacious? around 3:00, sisters and brothers, that's the evening oblation. And he informed me and talked with me and said, "Oh Daniel, I have now come forth to give thee skill and understanding." See, I'm coming to bring things into your remembrance, sisters and brothers. And who is doing this? The angel of his presence? It's Gabriel, sisters and brothers.
He said, "Yeah, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel whom I seen in the vision touched me about the time of the evening ovations." And then he said, "And he informed me and talked with me and said,"Oh Daniel, I have now come forth to give thee skill and understanding." That's this God's job. That's what the Holy Spirit does. Keep reading. At the beginning of thy supplications, the commandment came forth. And I am come to show thee. For thou are greatly beloved.
Therefore, understand the matter and consider the vision. But do you but through all that? Do you see what what the Lord is saying though through everything that's going on? While he was praying, he already had sent the angel down to answer him before he was done praying. See, God do that with people that love him now with people that he loved. So Daniel wasn't even done praying while the word was still in his mouth.
Gabriel had came down to give him skill and understanding and to understand the vision that he had saw. So now we ain't gonna worry about the 70 weeks today. But now let's go to St. John the 14th chapter. St. John 14.
That 70 weeks was going to be 70 weeks of years, sisters and brothers. It was going to be 70 weeks of years, which is a total of 490. But now let's go to St. John the 14th chapter. Now let's get back to the conference. St.
John 14. And we going to pick it up at verse one. St. John 14 and we going to pick it up at verse one. St. John 14 and we going to pick it up at verse one.
Let's show you what this guy do. Here's the confidence, sisters and brothers. St. John 14 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 14 and one. I love this chapter.
We all like to read this one. So, let's let's throw this in for us because some of us in here, we done had a bad week this week and we need to have a better week. So, let's let you know what you're fighting for. St. John 14:1. Let not your heart be troubled.
You believe in God? Believe also in me. You believe in God, believe also in me. Don't let your heart be troubled. He said, if you believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions.
If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. I'm to go and prepare this place for you. You know, I be thinking about it. Is this world big enough to hold all these many people that the Lord Man, man, you don't know how this world going to be. we work when the Lord come back.
He said in my father's house are many matches. Those matches are houses. And in this case, it's talking about people. In my father's house are many matches. If it were not so, I would have told you. He said, I go to prepare a place for you.
Verse three, go ahead. And if I go and prepare a p if I go and prepare a prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself. that where I am that ye may be also. He said that where I am there ye may. He said if I go and prepare a place for you, he said I'm going to come again. Come back where?
Come back to the earth and receive you unto myself. That where I am there ye may be also. We know that's going to be in Jerusalem, sisters and brothers. That's going to be in the holy mountain, in the holy mountain of God. That's where Jesus going to rule from. So now verse four, go ahead.
And whether I go, ye know. And the way ye know. Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not whether thou goest. Or how can we know the way? Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. So yeah, you do.
You Yes, you do know Thomas. You know, Thomas was being modest at this point and what he was saying. He was just speaking as a mortal man. So Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not whether thou goest, and how can we know the way? So Jesus didn't even rebuke him in this place. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Go ahead and read.
No man cometh unto the father but by me. You should remember that lesson. So now verse seven. I know all of them. Verse seven. If he had known me, if you had known me, go ahead.
He should have known my father also. You should have known my father also. If you know me, then you know the father. And it's the same way with us that if you if you got a a a righteous servant that's living the way that Jesus lived, then you then that person going to know Jesus. But now keep reading. And and from his forth ye know him and have seen him.
Philip said unto him, Lord, show us the father and it sufficeth us. Show us the father and it sufficeth us. Like he just going to make a vision and let you see it right now because they know he got the power to do that. because he did that one time. He did that with Peter and the sons of Zebedee when he showed them the vision in St. John the 17th chapter.
So what he's saying ain't crazy now. He know that Jesus had the power to do it because Jesus going to do it in a few more chapters later. But now verse n go ahead. Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long with you? And yet hast thou not known me, Philillip? He that have seen me hath seen the Father.
And how sayest thou show us the Father? Believe thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me. The word that I speak that the word I speak unto you, I speak not of myself, but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the word. So now he said, "Believe not thou that I am, but that the Father is in me." He said, "And the Father in me. The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself, but the father that dwelleth in me, he the one that doeth the works. So he going to tell him that.
Verse 11. Go ahead on and skip on down. Go on. Run it. Believe me that I am in the Father, the Father in me, or else believe me for the very work sake. So I'm glad we threw this in.
Now he said, "Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me. Or else believe me for the very work's sake. But remember when I fed the people with seven loaves of bread and two fishes, remember that. So now verse 12, go ahead. Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the worse that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father. So he telling them that he getting ready to go now.
He said, y'all going to do greater works than I'm going to do now because I go unto my father. Verse 13, go ahead. And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, go ahead. That will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, and if you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commands. You better hear what he's saying to you, sisters and brothers.
He said, first of all, he said, if you ask anything of me in my in my name, he said, I will do it. Now, but then he said, if you love me, keep my commandments. You got to keep the commandments. So when you keep the commandments, what is he going to do? And I will pray the father and he shall give you another comforter. That he may abide with you forever.
So now he said, "And I will pray the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever." So it's not a feeling. Notice that it said he now. So this guy is an entity, sisters and brothers. He said, "And I will pray the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever." So what did the Lord call in verse 17? Even the spirit of truth. See that's why we call it Gabriel the comforter of the spirit of truth.
Now he said even the spirit of truth. Whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not. Neither know of him. But you know him for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. He going to dwell with you sisters and brothers and he shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless.
So I'm not going to leave you by yourself. I'm not going to leave you confidenceless. I will come to you yet a little while and the world seeth me no more, but you see me because I live and you shall live also. And ye shall live also. So now let's skip down to verse 23. Verse 23.
And go ahead. Jesus answered and said unto him, "If a man love me, he will keep my word." You better understand what he's saying, sisters and brothers. That's why we don't play about the Sabbath. This why we don't play about none of God's words. He said, "If a man love me, he will keep my words." Go ahead and read. And my father will love him and we will come unto him and make our bold with him.
Well, I want him to be with me. See, I don't need no more company outside of my wife and my son. But if they ain't around, who is the best person to call to to be with you? The father and the son. So they going to abide with you forever. So now verse 24, go ahead.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my saying. He that loveth me not keepeth not my says. And the word which you hear is not mine. And the word which he hear is not mine. But the fathers which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you being ye present with you.
Read that verse 26. But the comforter which is the Holy Ghost. So now he said but the comforter now which is the Holy Ghost. Whom the father will send in my name. Now notice that when we read up in Exodus 23, he said he is not going to pardon your transgressions. Why?
Because his name is in him. So this angel is going to come in the name of Jesus. So now what is he going to do? He shall teach you all things. And bring all things to your remembrance. Whatsoever I have said unto you.
You get a single man walking around. Well, you know what? You want to get with me? Well, y'all want to get with you. Well, you got you got a man. Well, we separated right now.
Well, I was told not to deal with you. See, he gonna bring things like that to your remembrance, sisters and brothers. That's his job. He's a comforter and he going to come in the name of Jesus and he is going to abide with you. So, now let's go to St. John 16 now.
St. John 16 and we going to pick it up at verse one. St. John 16 and we going to pick it up at verse one. People think the Holy Ghost is a spirit in you. You get the shaking and gyrating and sweating and all that through the church.
That's not what the Holy Spirit is. That might be a devil. That might be a devil in you. Just straight up. I mean, you you taking in devil doctrine at that time. You going to church on Sunday.
What else could it be? So now, let's go to St. John 16 and pick it up at verse one. These things have I spoken unto you. That you should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogue.
The time coming that that whoever whosoever kleth you will think that he doeth of God's service. And these things will they do unto you because they have not known the father nor me. But these things have I told you that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you in the beginning because I was with you. But now I go my way to him that sent me. And none of you asked me where the goest thou where you going.
And did nobody ask of that where he was going. But it's going to come time now that I'm going to go back to him that sent me. And none of you ask me where thou goest. Verse six. But because I have said these things unto you. Sorrow has filled your heart.
They didn't want to hear it. They didn't want to ask. They didn't want to know. Why? Because they didn't want Jesus to leave. They didn't want Jesus to leave.
They had it made in the shade while the Lord was here. They they was walking around with the true and living God. So when Jesus told them that they was getting ready to leave, he says, "Sorrow had filled his heart." Go ahead and read. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. He said, "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth." Go ahead. It is expedient for you that I go away.
But it's expedient for you that I go away. See, this is a two This is a two answer question right here. We needed Jesus to go away so he can intercede for our sins on the right hand of the father. See, that's number one. And then after that, he going to send you a comforter. I'm going to be gone, but I'm not going to leave you by yourself.
Now, he start that over at verse seven again. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away. For if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you. But if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he has come, so this going to be his job now.
He said when he has come, go ahead. He will reprove the world of sin. He is going to reprove the world of sin. He going to speak against it. Why is he going to speak against it? Because he's an holy angel.
He's the spirit of truth. He said that when he has come, he will reprove the world of sin. And of righteousness and of judgment, of sin because they believe not on me. Of sin because they believe not on me. Of righteousness because I go to my father and ye see me no more. of judgment because the prince of this world is judgment.
That's that's his three jobs right there, sisters and brothers. There in a nutshell, he he going to come he going to reprove the world of sin because they don't believe in Jesus. He going to talk about righteousness now because I go to my father and you see me no more. And he is going to be of judgment because the prince of this world is judged. He going to be talking all against Satan, the devil, sisters and brothers. So now keep reading.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. You can't bear them right now. How be it, when he, the spirit of truth, is come. Notice how he said it. Now, how be when he, the entity, the spirit of truth, has come, go ahead and read. He will guide you into all truth.
He going to guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come. He going to show you things to come. See, that's why he was when Daniel was having the visions, he had seen Gabriel at that time. So, he going to be bringing visions to people. When you think about John the Revelator, the visions and all of that, all of that stuff is his job, sisters and brothers.
He said, "How be it, when the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show unto you things to come. He shall glorify me. He going to glorify Jesus. Now go ahead. For he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
All things that the father has are mine. Therefore said I, that he should take of mine, and shall show it unto you. A little while and ye shall see me. And again a little while and ye shall see me because I go to the father. That's what he's he saying. A little while and ye shall not see me.
And again a little while ye shall see me because I go to my father, sisters and brothers. And that's when they watched him in Acts the first chapter to see right on up into heaven, sisters and brothers. And sit down on the right hand of the father. So now let's go to first Peter the first chapter. First Peter 1. And we going to pick it up at verse six.
First Peter 1 and we gonna pick it up at verse six. We got a few more after this and then we going to be out of here. But see the world don't receive him now. That's why with a lot of people I remember when Buie said when he told the people who the Holy Ghost and the comforter was all the brothers that was in the church said we got to talk to him. They say he losing his mind. He going crazy.
But no, he was he found his mind. That's what he said. So now you got brother D. Brother Daddy said the same thing. So that's who we get this from. Now let's go to first Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 6.
First Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse six. When you get there, go ahead. Wherein ye greatly rejoice. So now for a season if need be, you are in heaven through through manifold temptation. that the trial of your faith being much more precious than of gold and perishing, though it be tried with fire might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. See, that's why we always like to throw this in, man.
Because see, the servants of God really going to go through it. They going to get it in the net. He talk about the persecutions and the things that you going to go through because you believe in the Lord now. But notice what he said. He said that the trial of your faith being much more precious of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found under praise and and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Because all of the suffering going to end one day, sisters and brothers, we read that one when the kingish read up here last week.
But now verse eight, go ahead. Whom having not seen, ye love. Having whom not seen, ye love. And whom though now you see him not yet believing you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Receiving the end of your faith. Even the salvation of your soul.
That's what you going to get in the end. Now you going receiving the end of your faith. Once you die in this thing, he said even the salvation of your soul. Of which salvation the prophets have inquired. He said, he said, "Of which salvation the prophet have inquired." Go ahead. And search diligently.
Who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you. Searching what? On what manner of the time? The spirit of Christ. So notice how he worded this. Now he says, "Searching what?
Or what manner of time? The spirit of Christ." Go ahead. Which was in them did signify when it testify beforehand the suffering of Christ and the glory that should follow. unto whom it was revealed that unto whom it was revealed that not unto themselves, but unto us that did minister the things which are now reported unto you by them by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven. Which things the angels desire to look into. So you see what he said right here, sisters and brothers, are you following what he said?
He said, "Unto whom it was revealed, not that that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things which are now reported unto you by them that were preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven." Now, didn't Jesus tell us that? He said, "I'm going to send you another now. It's going to be the comfort of the Holy Ghost." But notice what else he's saying. Which things the angels desire to look into? They even trying to find out and figure out what they talking about down there. What they saying?
Because see this angel stands before the Lord in his presence, sisters and brothers. So now let's go. Is it? Is that it? Now let's go to the main spot. Let's show you that this angel brought the name of Jesus, sisters and brothers.
Let's go to St. Luke, the first chapter. St. Luke 1. I should have told you to put a marker there. Let's go to St.
Luke 1. See, that's why a lot of people don't like that name because the name came from heaven, sisters and brothers. It was not made up and it did not come from Zeus and Osiris and all of them names that the fallen angels tried to tell you about knowing that they they already knew that the Messiah was going to come on the scene. So they tried to coin swagger the people before they came with ice and Osiris and Ron and Zeus and try to say that the name Jesus come from that. So but who who tell you those things? The people who is in the occult, the people that hate Jesus for real, those are the ones that tell you that.
So now St. Luke 1 and let's pick it up at verse 26. St. Luke 1 and 26. And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee. Well, we just read that, didn't it?
The Holy Ghost sent down from heaven. We just read that, didn't it? So now we reading it again. He said, "And in the sixth month, when the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth," go ahead. "To a virgin a spouse to a man whose name was Joseph of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary." Go ahead.
And the angel came in unto her, and said, "Hell, thou that are highly favored. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women." Go ahead. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, she said. But when she saw him, she was troubled that is saying now. And cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
And the angel said unto her, "Fear not, Mary." Hey, when he pull up on everybody, they get a little scared now. So now we see, now we see Mary, she even got a little afraid. And the angel said unto her, "Fear not, Mary." Go ahead. For thou has found favor with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in the womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Jesus. and shall call his name Jesus.
Now, so every time this angel brought a name, it came from heaven and it came from the father. Now, he said, "Behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shall call his name Jesus." So now, what else going to happen? He shall be great. And shall be called the son of the highest. And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. You know, a lot of people don't understand this about Jesus, sisters and brothers.
Nobody understands that Jesus going to sit on the throne of David. I ask people all the time, I say, "Who throne Jesus going to sit on?" And when I ask him that question, nobody knows. And that's the preacher's fault. That let you know that the churches that you are going to, they are not teaching you the uncut word of God. So now, as St. Luke say he shall be great and shall be called the son of the highest and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever. He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever. Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. And of his kingdom there shall be no end. Ain't going to be no king no end to this kingdom. He ain't going to be voted out of office.
He ain't going to do eight years and you vote another president in. This guy going to be king over the house of Israel forever, sisters and brothers. Forever. Then said Mary unto the angel, how shall this be, seeing I know not a man. And the angel answered and said unto her, the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee. The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee.
And the power of the highest shall overshadow thee. And the power of the highest now shall overshadow thee. Therefore also the holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God. He shall be called this holy thing that shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God. So you get people how how can she have a baby and she don't know no man. See that's when you start leaning to your own understanding.
You get women nowadays you they can take a seed of a man and then plant it in them and what they'll do? They'll bring forth a child. So I guess God can't do that. He said, "The Holy Ghost going to come upon thee, and the power of the high is going to overshadow thee, and you going to have a son, and you going to call his name Jesus." So now, keep reading, young line. And behold, like cousin Elizabeth, she have also conceived a son in her old age, and this is and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God, nothing shall be imposs.
With God, nothing shall be impossible. Sisters and brothers, when you got the Lord, ain't nothing impossible. Whatever you think is hard, it's not. Because the Lord going to take care of that. He said, for with God, he said, nothing is nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmade of the Lord.
Be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Notice then that we had to get a woman that had obey the angel of the Lord. She didn't doubt nothing that he said. The only thing that that that that that got that that that she didn't like was she was a little scared of him. But she obeyed everything that this angel said, sisters and brothers.
So she so this angel brought the name of Jesus and the name came from heaven. So now let's go to Philippians 2. Philippians 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 5. Philippians 2 and we going to pick it up at verse five. We only got a few more after this. Got two more after this.
Philippians 2 and we gonna pick it up at verse five. This why a lot of people can't receive this. A lot of people can't receive this angel because this angel was not given to everybody, sisters and brothers. Philippians 2. And we going to pick it up at verse five. Philippians 2 and 5.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus whom being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God. So he didn't he didn't say, "Oh Lord, you know, back in the beginning, man, we was both rolling together. We was holding down the fort together. We was both God and they were." But see, he gave up that for the sins of the people. As a matter of fact, he going to come and rule for a thousand years and go turn the kingdom back over again to the father, sisters and brothers. But now keep reading.
But made himself of no reputation. And took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And then when he came to the earth, that's why he came as the lamb, sisters and brothers. And he made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. That's what we got to do, sisters and brothers.
We got to be obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross. That let you know that you got to be obedient unto death. out the same way that the Lord was. So now verse n go ahead. Wherefore God even thy God have highly and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also had highly exalted himself, and given him a name which is above every name.
That he So now notice what he said. For God also had highly exalted him, and given him a name, which is above every name. Verse 10, go ahead. That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things of heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So, you might as well get used to it, sisters and brothers. You know, go ahead on and read that verse 12 since we right here.
We call on the name of Jesus. But I'm gonna throw Elder David off of here. He like to say this. Verse 12. Wherefore my beloved as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
That's how you got to work it out, sisters and brothers. You got to work out your own salvation. And you got to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. now. So don't don't be don't get too heavy and high minded because you on your way. You got to fear the Lord and depart from evil.
So now let's go to St. John 3. We still dealing with the name. Let's go to St. John 3. Now St.
John 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. St. John 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. St. John 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. See, he came with all of this information, sisters and brothers.
And we could have threw a little bit more in here about Gabriel being the comforter, but we gonna leave it out today because we talked about it when we did when we burying our body the marks of Christ. So I left that out today because we just talked about it not too long ago. But let's go to St. John 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. St. John 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 16.
The real the real 3:16. Not the one stone cold talk about this. real 3:16. Verse 16, go ahead. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. That's a very important verse right there, sisters and brothers.
One of the most famous verses in the Bible. He said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." Verse 17, go ahead. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. So he didn't come to condemn the world. That's when he come back. That's going to be the second coming.
That's why Jesus didn't come to be king when he first showed up. He came to bring the world to Christ that through him that they might be saved. Verse 18, go ahead. He that believeth on him is not condemned. But he that believeth not is condemned already. Because he have not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.
When you don't believe in the name, sisters and brothers, you are condemned already. You better hear what the book is saying now. He that believeth on him is not condemned. But he that believeth not is condemned already because he had not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. And this is the condemnation that light has come into the world and men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds shall be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to find light. But he that doeth truth come into the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. That they are wrought in God. So now skip down to verse 33. Verse 33 and go ahead. He that have received his testimonies has set the has set to his seal that God is true.
You see how you see how man you can get yourself together and be saved right now. You see how you do it? He said he that received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true. Verse 34. For he whom God has sent speaketh the word of God. For God giveth not the spirit by measure unto him.
The Father love the Son, and have given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son have everlasting life, and he that believeth not, the Son shall not see life. But the wrath of God abideth on him. But the wrath of God abide on him when you don't believe it, sisters and brothers. So after this book was written, who do you think is bringing all this to your remembrance now about Jesus, the son of God? It's none other than Gabriel.
sisters and brothers, the one whom he sent. So now let's go to St. John 5. St. John 5 now and we and we going to pick it up at verse 39. St.
John 5 and we going to pick it up at verse 39. This is the last spot right here. St. John 5 and we going to pick it up at verse 39. Search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life and they are they which testify of me. Guess who the scriptures testify of?
The scriptures testify of Jesus, sisters and brothers. He says, "Search the scriptures now. For in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me." Go ahead and read. And you would not come to me that ye might have life. I receive not honor from men. But I know ye that ye have not the love of God in you.
I am come in my father's name. See, so now who so he said, I've come in my father's name. Now, so what is the name of the father? The name of the father is Jesus, sisters and brothers. So because his name when he was in his glory was Jehovah. He said, "I am come in my father's name." Go ahead and read.
And he receive me not. And you receive me not. If another shall come in his own name, go ahead. Him you will receive. You will receive him. Let let somebody come and say my name wrong.
You They put a flute to believe in that. But see, he didn't come in his own name. He came in the father's name. So therefore they believe them not. So now read that verse 44. How can you believe which receive honor one of another and seek not the honor that cometh from God only?
Do do not think that I will accuse you to the father? There is one that accuseth you even Moses in whom you trust. For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me, for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his right. How shall you believe my words? Are you going to believe the words and you read on Moses, sisters and brothers?
So that is Gabriel, the comforter, the spirit of truth and we hope you got some understanding in it. It was it was 10. Okay, we going to call our elder to come up here and read the lawsuit. Exodus 20 verse. And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shall have no other gods before me.
Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them. For I, the Lord thy God, am the jealous God, visiting the iniquity, the visiting the iniquity of the fathers, former children since 34th generation of them that hate me, and showing mercy to thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. For the Lord will not hold them guiltless, but take his name in vain. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. In it thou shall not do any work. Thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man's servant, nor thy maid servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven, the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day. Wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day. Honor thy father and thy mother, that th that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Thou shall not kill. Thou shall not commit adultery. Thou shall not steal. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Thou shall not coveret thy neighbor's house. Thou shall not coveret thy neighbor's wife, nor his man servant, nor his maid servant, nor his ax, nor his ass, nor anything that is that y'all just um on that script that I had uh I wrote it down wrong.
I wrote I wrote St. John and it was St. Luke 10:18. So when that St. Luke 10:18, he said, "And I said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." So for those that's watching online, I dropped the ball on that. So it was St.
Luke 10 and 18. So also, we got a we got a few announcements because I we revamped the uh the new announcements, and I still forgot to put them in my thing, but we we got a few we got a few announcements anyway.
