Because It Is Written, Be Ye Holy, for I Am Holy

In this Sabbath lesson from Israel Church of the Firstborn in Indianapolis, Brother Obadiah teaches on what it means to be holy. The week before, the church had taught on faith, and he builds on it: it is good to have the faith, but you also have to be holy. Holy, he says, means to be set apart. And holiness is not only spiritual, there are physical things that set a person apart to God: the foods you eat, your behavior and speech, sexual purity, honoring your mother and father, and keeping his Sabbath. The lesson works from the title text, be ye holy, for I am holy, all the way through the law and out to the last chapter of Revelation. Every passage is read in the King James Version.

1.Because It Is Written, Be Ye Holy

The lesson opens on the title text itself. Brother Obadiah ties it back to the previous week's teaching on faith, then turns to First Peter the first chapter, where Peter tells the believer to gird up his mind and be holy in all his behavior.

1 Peter 1:13-16 KJV

13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

"We had a lesson last week where we talked about faith, and it was a beautiful lesson. If you don't have faith in God, there ain't no way that you can please him. So you want to have the faith, but you also got to be holy. Why would I choose a lesson that talks about being holy? Because everything that God do is holy. His word is holy. God chose us to be a holy nation and a holy people. So the title of the lesson is, because it is written, be ye holy, for I am holy. Holy means to be set apart."

"Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you. And that is the key, you got to be obedient. As obedient children, no matter how old you are, you still got to be obedient. He said, but as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. That's your behavior. And verse sixteen, because it is written, be ye holy, for I am holy. This is where we get the title of the lesson from. It's written in the Bible that you got to be holy, sisters and brothers."

2.The Word Is Holy, the Son Is Holy

Before the how, he establishes the source. In Second Peter the first chapter, Peter says the scriptures did not come from men's own minds but from holy men moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV

20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

"No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. Anybody can understand it if you be taught. He said, for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man. These words in this book did not come by the will of man, it did not come out of his mind. So the next time somebody tell you a man wrote that Bible, you hit them with this right here. But holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. You see how you got to be holy? These men were holy, and they spake as they was moved by the Holy Ghost. Point blank and period, that's how the Bible was written."

And the Son himself is holy. In Saint Mark the first chapter, an unclean spirit in the synagogue confesses it out loud when Jesus teaches on the Sabbath.

St. Mark 1:24-27 KJV

24Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

25And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

26And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

27And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

"There was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, saying, what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? These devils, they already knew who Jesus was. Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. Even when Jesus was walking on the earth, what was he? He was holy. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, hold thy peace, and come out of him. That's what you got to do to the evil spirit when it come to you. And once you get the evil spirit out of you, you can't let them back in no more."

3.A Kingdom of Priests, a Holy Nation

He goes back to Mount Sinai, in Exodus the nineteenth chapter, to show that God set a requirement on the people he brought out of Egypt.

Exodus 19:5-6 KJV

5Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

"Let's show you how it was when the Lord brought us up out of Egypt. He had a requirement for us. We not the people of God just because we're black and because we were scattered as slaves, we the people of God because he chose us to be a royal priesthood. He said, now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people. Nobody else can say that God came down and spoke to their people. He never spoke to no other nation, he only spoke to the children of Israel. Ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. You going to have to operate differently from the rest of the world."

And Peter carries the same words into the New Testament, in First Peter the second chapter, so the reader knows nothing has changed.

1 Peter 2:9-10 KJV

9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, and a holy priesthood. We are not ordinary regular people like everybody else. You used to fit in with the world, but now you don't fit in no more. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. People going to think we crazy, but we not crazy, we just crazy for Jesus. He said, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul."

4.The Law He Did Not Come to Destroy

Because being holy means keeping God's law, he stops to answer the objection head on. In Saint Matthew the fifth chapter, Jesus says plainly that he did not come to abolish the law.

St. Matthew 5:17-19 KJV

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

"For some reason people think that Jesus came to change the law, that anything written in the Old Testament is not valid no more. But you are sadly mistaken. He said, think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets, I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. He knew how they was going to try to twist the law and say the law ain't no more. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. And the least in the kingdom of heaven is the lake of fire. Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

5.The Foods That Make You Holy

Here the lesson turns to the first physical thing that sets a person apart, the dietary law of Leviticus the eleventh chapter. He reads the marks of a clean beast, then the swine.

Leviticus 11:7-8 KJV

7And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

8Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

"People don't understand that even the foods that you eat make you holy, sisters and brothers. How can you be holy to God and you eat pork? How can you be holy to God and you eat shrimp, lobsters, crabs? He is the potter, and you are the clay, so I'm going to show you what you should eat. If it's a beast, whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, that shall ye eat. But the swine, though he divide the hoof, yet he cheweth not the cud, he is unclean to you. And if it come out of the sea, it got to have fins and scales. You go out to a restaurant, you see everybody ordering lobster and crabs, but when you holy, you don't eat these things."

Then the chapter states the reason for the whole diet in one line.

Leviticus 11:44-45 KJV

44For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

45For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

"For I am the Lord your God, ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy, for I am holy. You got to be holy just like the Lord is holy, it ain't no other way around it. These are physical attributes that make you holy. People want to look at this like it's just a dietary law, but you got loved ones that still eat pork, and if they don't change and turn to the Lord and be holy the way that he is holy, then what you think God going to do for them?"

6.Come Out From Among the Nations

The next set of holy requirements is about separation. In Leviticus the eighteenth chapter, God warns Israel not to do after the doings of Egypt or Canaan, and lists the sins that defiled those nations.

Leviticus 18:24-27 KJV

24Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27( For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

"Every law that God gave, the Canaanites was doing these things before Israel even got in the land. But I got a news flash for you, you around spiritual Canaanites all around in the world right now. After the doings of the land of Egypt, and after the doings of the land of Canaan, shall ye not do. Thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife to defile thyself with her. Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, it is abomination. These are the things that make you unholy, sisters and brothers. Defile not yourselves in any of these things, for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you."

Leviticus the nineteenth chapter opens with the command that names the whole lesson, then fills it out with statute after statute.

Leviticus 19:1-2 KJV

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

"Ye shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy. He going to tell you what it is to be holy even in this chapter. Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths. You got to honour and respect your mother and your father no matter what. Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people, keep your mouth off other people. Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart, you got to hate the sin, but you got to love the person. But thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Among those statutes is one on marking the body, which he reads against the ancient custom behind it.

Leviticus 19:27-28 KJV

27Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

28Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. I wear a beard because Jesus wore a beard. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you. Think about the time frame you dealing with, the ancient Canaanites. Cutting the skin was a standard mourning ritual, and the tattoos on their bodies were honoring spirits and ancestors for the dead. So I'm not going to have you do that as well."

And Leviticus the twentieth chapter returns to the death penalties for those sins and ends on why the whole nation had to be different.

Leviticus 20:26 KJV

26And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

"Whosoever giveth any of his seed unto Molech, he shall surely be put to death. Your behaviour can get your whole family in trouble. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy, for I am the Lord your God. Ye shall be holy unto me, for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. That's the reason why you're holy, that's why he want you to be separate."

7.Keep the Sabbath Holy

The Sabbath is its own mark of holiness. In Exodus the thirty-first chapter, God calls it a sign and a perpetual covenant.

Exodus 31:16-17 KJV

16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

"Another thing that separates you from the world is the Sabbath day. Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep, for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations. The Sabbath day is the gluing bond that keeps you connected with God. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore, for it is holy unto you. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. A perpetual covenant is an ongoing covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever. These are the Lord's instructions, written with the finger of God. Not over Obadiah, not over Israel Church of the Firstborn, this come from the Lord."

And the Sabbath was given as a gift, not a burden. In Saint Mark the second chapter, Jesus says who it was made for.

St. Mark 2:27-28 KJV

27And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

28Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

"The Sabbath was made for man. This was made for you, made for you to rejoice, made for you not to bear no burdens on this day. He said, the sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. He is Lord of it."

In Jeremiah the seventeenth chapter, the Lord ties the whole future of the nation to whether they will keep the day and bear no burden on it.

Jeremiah 17:21-22 KJV

21Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

22Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

"Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day. This one we tend to forget about. Don't come to class all sad like you don't want to be here, you ought to be rejoicing to be in here. So what, you behind on your bills? You ain't behind on the Sabbath day, you dead on time on the seventh day. You got to leave your problems at home when it comes to the Lord's day. If you keep the Sabbath day, then I'm going to have your children coming into the city riding on horses and sitting on the throne for ever. What was the first thing the children of Israel let go? They lost sight of the Sabbath day, and that's why nobody come today."

And he answers those who say the Sabbath was done away with, from Colossians the second chapter.

Colossians 2:16-17 KJV

16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days, which are a shadow of things to come. That's what the Sabbath day is pointing to, the thousand year millennium period and the resurrection. That's what his feast days are pointing to."

8.Put On the New Man

The last mark of holiness is behavior and speech. In Ephesians the fourth chapter, the believer is told to put off the old man and put on the new.

Ephesians 4:22-24 KJV

22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

"Your behaviour is also what's going to make you holy. That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. You got to put off the old man or the old woman, the old person that would cuss anybody out. Your conversation is your behaviour."

And the same chapter puts a guard on the tongue and the temper.

Ephesians 4:29-32 KJV

29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying. How you going to be talking the holy word of God and still dropping f-bombs? That's not a holy mouth, that's not a holy conversation. Be ye angry, and sin not, don't let your anger get the best of you, because your anger can take away from your holiness. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath, don't go to bed angry, because when you get angry you are giving place to the devil. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

And in Titus the second chapter, that holy behavior is spelled out for the older men and women, the young, and the whole peculiar people.

Titus 2:11-14 KJV

11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

"The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness. Even your marriage got to be holy. The grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. We've been reading about this peculiar people all lesson, sisters and brothers, that's what God want you to be."

9.Let Him Be Holy Still

He closes where he says he normally opens, in the twenty-second chapter of Revelation, brought to the very end this time on purpose.

Revelation 22:11-14 KJV

11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still, and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still, and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still, and he that is holy, let him be holy still. So don't come to me talking about being overrighteous, we just trying to be holy, sisters and brothers. It's some physical things that God require us to be holy. Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

Closing Word

"And that is, be ye holy, for I am holy. I hope you got some understanding indeed this morning."

Brother Obadiah closed the lesson the way he carried it all the way through: God chose Israel to be a holy nation, and holiness is something you live out, not only in the spirit but in the body. The foods you eat, the Sabbath you keep, the way you speak and behave, and your separation from the doings of the nations are the physical things that set you apart to a holy God. It is good to have the faith, he said, but be holy right along with it.

I just read to you Psalms [applause] 132 13-16. Have a blessed review on his holy word. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. [applause] Read that last week in Cincinnati when he was telling them about that you not going to heaven that the Lord have chosen Zion for his holy habitation.

Yes. So let's proceed with our Sabbath script. Let's proceed with our Sabbath script. I want everybody to turn to Leviticus 23. Leviticus 23. And we going to read verses 1 through3. Like I invited a couple of people to class. The one thing that it hurts me about with the Sabbath is the is Satan is trying to steer everybody away from the Lord's holy day. That's one of the main reasons you can hardly get anybody in class is because they do not understand what the

Sabbath day is. So when somebody brains them about the Sabbath day, Satan come take it right out of their heart, sisters and brothers. But let's go to Leviticus 23. Leviticus 23 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Leviticus 23 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. When you get there, my beautiful beloved elder. Yes, sir. Go ahead and read. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feast of

the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations. Go ahead. Even these are my feast. So, we going to talk a little bit about the Sabbath day even today, sisters and brothers. But notice what he said about the Sabbath day. It's a holy convocation. Yes, sir. We gonna talk about the Sabbath a little bit later in this lesson. But now, what did God tell us to do? Verse three. Go ahead.

Six days shall work be done. Go ahead. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest and holy convocation. Ye shall do no work therein. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all of your dwellings. No matter where you are. The Lord knew that we wasn't gonna be in Jerusalem or off in the land of Canadan the whole time because of our behavior. Yes, sir.

Which is what we gonna kind of talk about today. But now, let's go to St. Luke the 4th chapter. Let's show you exactly what Jesus did. Let's go to St. Luke the 4th chapter. St. Luke 4 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. Hey, Mother T. St. Luke the 4th chapter and we are going to pick it up at verse 14. Let's show you exactly what Jesus did now because we going to talk a little bit about the Sabbath day a little bit later. How you doing,

beloved elder? So, we going to get to it. But anyway, St. Luke 4 and let's pick it up at verse 14. St. Luke 4 and 14. When you get there, go ahead and read. And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee. And there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And

he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up. Go ahead. And as his custom was. So notice what it's saying about his custom now. So this was his way of life. This what he did. That's what custom mean. Custom means your way of life. So he So he had came to Nazareth where he had been brought up. And as his custom was, go ahead and read.

He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Go ahead. And stood up for to read. That's when he went into the synagogue, the master himself. He went in on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So, I want to praise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And peace to everyone here in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I want to say happy Sabbath to my Indianapolis family. It's always an honor to stand before you, and I missed you last week. And also to Cincinnati.

We also we also want to say happy Sabbath to you as well and we are glad to have you with us. We had a good time down there. We was wall to wall in Cincinnati last week. So we just want to make y'all understand, keep pushing, keep studying the word of God and keep living. So also those that's watching us in Arkansas, we also want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. those watching us in Mississippi and also those that's

watching us in Connecticut, Elder Todd and his family, we also want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. And also those that's watching us via live Facebook and YouTube live. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you. And we are glad to have you with us on the Lord's Sabbath day. Amen. And as usual, we want to say happy Sabbath to our brotherhood and our sisterhood for one [applause] more week, one more week. It ain't going to always

be easy, but at the same time, when you win this word of God, we got to keep pushing. So, when we send those scripts out, you read those scripts so you can apply those scripts to your everyday life. So, we going to get right into the lesson, brothers and sisters. So, we going to talk about what it is to be holy. We chose this lesson. I chose this lesson because the Lord put it on our

mind. You know, we had a lesson last week where we talked about faith and it was a beautiful lesson. And one thing that you got to understand that if you do not have faith, if you don't don't have faith in God, there ain't no way that you can please them, sister. So, you want to have the faith, but you also got to understand one more thing. You also got to be holy.

So, that's what we going to talk about today. So, why would I choose a lesson where it talks about being holy, sisters and brothers? because we don't deal on a physical plane because everything that God do is holy. You know, God endowed us with the Holy Spirit. You know, his word is holy. If you go back and look at even the sacrifices, the the the animal sacrifices back in the old days with the burn and the sand offerings and the

peace offerings. All of that stuff was holy. You also had the priestly garments that they have. Those things was holy. You had the anointed oil. So, these things was holy. Now, but one thing that we got to understand that God chose us to be a holy nation and to also be a holy people. And that's what we got to understand about God is God wants you to

be holy, sisters and brothers. So the title of the lesson is because it is written. And God wrote this now. He said because it is written. He said be ye holy for I am holy. So he want us to be holy sisters and brothers. And we going to show you what holy mean. Holy means to be set apart. We going to go through it and show you what it really is. So even when you deal with your behavior,

when you deal with your way of life, God want you to deal with it in a holy manner because he chose us to be holy people, sisters and brothers. So once again, the title of the lesson is because it is written, be ye holy, for I am holy. So we going to start this lesson off in first Peter the first chapter and put you a marker in Peter now because we going to be in Peter a few times during this lesson because

Peter was the one that the Lord left the keys of the kingdom to and he was the ones that walked around with God even during the time when he was going through his tribulation. Peter was right there. Peter was also there when the Lord has transfigured himself on the mount and he showed him that. And those are some of the things that we going to read in the lesson. But now let's go to first Peter the first chapter and we go pick it up at verse

three. First Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse three. And the title of the lesson once again is because it is written be ye holy for I am holy. Let's go to first Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse three. 1 Peter 1 and 3. When you get there my beautiful beloved elder go ahead and read. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, right off the rip, we want to pay homage to the Lord because see, that's what the Sabbath day

is all about. Not only is we going to talk about a little bit about the Sabbath today, but we want to let you understand is God is blessed, sisters and brothers. So, we want to make sure that we are always giving the Lord his just due on the Sabbath day. So, he said, "Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Go ahead and read.

Which according to his abundant mercy, Gohead, have begotten us again unto a lively hope. Go ahead. by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. So that's one thing that you got to have as a Christian, sisters and brothers, in such a untored world and in such an untored generation, you got to have hope, sisters and brothers. So we know when Jesus Christ rose again from the dead, he gave us a lively hope once he came up. So we had a live Jesus

and we also we know Jesus died on the cross, but we know that when he rose, he rose with everlasting power. Yes, sir. So we had to have him to rise so he can make intercession for the people that sit right hand of right at the right hand of the father in the throne in heaven. So now verse four go ahead to an inheritance incorruptible. Go ahead and undefiled and that fadeth not away.

We see a lot of championships that's in the world. We see NBA championships. We see NFL championships. But see this inheritance is incorruptible and undefiled. sisters and brothers, and it don't fade away. But now, keep reading. Go ahead. Reserved in heaven for you, and it's reserved in heaven for you. Verse five, go ahead. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time, wherein ye

greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptation. So don't think that you ain't going to go in this life and you ain't going to have no manifold temptations. That's what the Bible is telling you about. You going to have a lot of this. That's the reason why we got to have hope. And the older you get, we cannot let nobody or even

ourselves take away the importance and the joy that the word of God truly gives you. Because once you get rooted in this thing, you going to understand these heaviness temp manifold temptations are going to come. But Jesus is always gonna make a way for you to escape every one of them. Now, so now verse seven, go ahead. That the trial of your faith, he said, that the trial of your faith, go ahead.

Be much more precious than of gold that perishes. Go ahead. Though it be tried with fire might be found unto a praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Go ahead. Whom have you not seen? Ye love. That's why he died on the cross. That's the reason why we had a lesson on it not too long ago when we talked about did that I bear in the body of you the marks

of the Lord Jesus. Now he said whom having not seen you love. So ain't now none of us seen him the way that Peter seen them now. But what do we understand about it? We don't see him but we know that we love him. So how do you love the Lord? By keeping his laws, statutes and commandments which we going to show you in this lesson. So now keep reading. Go ahead.

In whom though now ye see him not. in whom though now you see him not. Go ahead and read. Can't believe him. Can't believe that. That's your faith. Even though you don't see him, you still believe in them, sisters and brothers. Yes. Go ahead and read. You rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Go ahead. [clears throat] Receiving the end of your faith. Go ahead. Even the salvation of your soul.

See, that's the end of the line. We talked about that. This what you get at the end. See, as long as you keeping these statutes and commandments now, God is going to be all the way with you. So, if you die in this thing, that's when you going to get the salvation of your souls. See, that's the big reward. That's going to be the spiritual body and the spiritual change. But now, verse 10, go ahead.

Of which salvation? The prophets have inquired and searched diligently. So, we going to read about how they inquired and searched diligently, sisters and brothers. People tell you where man wrote the Bible, but we showing you how they got their answers. They inquired and searched diligently, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. And the thing about it is is they got all their directions from one shepherd, and that shepherd was none other than Jesus Christ. But now, keep reading. Go ahead.

who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you, searching what or what manner of time the spirit of Christ which was in them did signify. Go ahead. When it testified before him that s that sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow. Go ahead. Unto whom it was revealed that not unto themselves, but unto us they didn't minister to things. So they just weren't talking to themselves. So basically when the pro what this is saying right here when all of the prophets got their instructions

once they was converted they did not keep all the information to themselves right so they didn't just preach it to themselves and didn't preach it to nobody else because Jesus left the directive that once you are converted and you get the beam out of your eye you got to go and strengthen the other people around you that are that are sick spiritually sick sisters and brothers but now keep reading go ahead which are

now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven. So notice what this ghost is now. This ghost is holy because we talk we going to talk about what it is to be holy sisters and brothers. So one thing God is not going to give you is anything that's not unholy. So now he said he said also he said unto whom it was

revealed, not that unto themselves, but unto us did they minister the things which are now reported unto them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost. And where did this Holy Ghost come from? Go ahead and read. Sent down from heaven. Go ahead. Which things the angel desire to look into. We also covered that not too long ago, sisters and brothers. We know that Gable is what? Gable is a spirit of truth.

Gabriel is the one that get all of the information and all of the other holy angels they desire to look because see Gabriel is the angel that stands in the presence of God. So now what did he say at verse 15? Because the only hope that you have is the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is your strength. So now what did he say at verse 13? Go ahead. G up your loins of your mind.

G up the loins of your mind. Go ahead and read. Be sober. When he tell you to be sober, that means to be sober in the word of God. Don't be spiritually drunk the way that you say it off in Isaiah the 28th chapter early this week. Because see a lot of people, they are spiritually drunk because they do not understand the words of Christ, sisters and brothers.

And we already know that it was Satan that had blinded their eyes. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Go ahead. as obedient children. See, that is the key. You got to be obedient now because we going to talk about what it is to be holy, to be set apart now. And one of those things is to

be obedient children. No matter how old you are, you still got to be obedient. Now, as obedient children, go ahead. Not fashioning yourselves according to the form of lust in your ignorance. In your ignorance, don't go back to your form of lust. Don't go back to the things that got you in trouble with God in first. Don't go back to that. You got to keep yourself on the obedient path.

We had a months back we did a lesson of talking about towing the line with the Lord when he put that plum line in the midst of the nation. So you got to be straight up with the Lord because see God is the only person on this earth that you cannot fool. You can fool man, but you cannot fool the Lord. Right? So now verse 15, go ahead and read. But as he which has called you is holy. But he that which is called you is holy.

Go ahead and read. So be ye holy in all manner of conversation. And that's what we going to talk about being holy, sisters and brothers. It's good that you have all the faith, but you also got to be holy, sisters and brothers. He said, "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. That's your behavior." See, we going to talk about that a little bit later because if you going to deal with the Lord, you got to make sure that your conversation, which

is your behavior, is acceptable with the Lord. Sisters and brothers. So now verse 16. Go ahead. Because it is written. Go ahead. Be ye holy. Go ahead. For I am holy. And this where we get the title of the lesson from. See this is written. It's written in the Bible that you got to be holy. Sisters and brothers. He said because it is written, "Be ye holy for I am holy." So now let's go right into second Peter 1. Now second Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 16.

Second Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. Second Peter 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. Let's talk a little bit of more about it because we just talked about the the men who wrote the Bible. But but let's show you how they was moved. Let's let you see that they didn't come up with nothing in this Bible on their own. Right.

That's why we didn't write the book. We only got to read it and educate everybody else that's in the word of God about what they don't know. Yes, sir. So now second Peter 1 and let's pick it up at verse 16. Second Peter 1:16. Go ahead and read. For we have not followed cunningly divine faith. Go ahead. When we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Go ahead.

But were eyewitnesses of his majesty. So you seeing what you seeing what Peter is saying right here now? He said, "For we have not followed cunningly devised fables." They didn't even know anything about the word of God until the Lord chose them to walk with them. They weren't seeking the Lord really like that. Peter then was out there fishing. So he said, "We have not followed cunningly divine fables when we were made known unto you the power and coming

of our Lord Jesus Christ, but was our witnesses of his majesty." They was there for every miracle that he did. Even the ones that the Bible don't talk about, he was there for them. Go ahead and read 17. For he received from God the Father honor and glory. When there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

And at this time now, this is when Jesus became the Christ or the Messiah. He was not born that way. Even though they knew the end of the story, he wasn't born that way. Now, so we know when he said, "This is my beloved son in whom I well pleased." He said his baptism, but then he said it somewhere else. So he made sure that the people heard this twice.

So now verse 18, go ahead. And this voice which came from heaven, we heard. He said, "And this voice which came from heaven, we heard." Go ahead and read. When we were with him in the holy mouth. So when was they with him in the holy mount? When he transfigured himself in St. Matthew the 17th chapter. So once again, he had he he had the father had

came down from heaven with his voice now and told them that this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Verse 18, go ahead. And this voice which came from heaven, we heard. Go ahead. When we when we were with him in the holy mountain, go ahead. We have also a more sure word of prophecy. So we want to we want to throw this in for a reason, sisters and brothers. The Bible said we also have a more sure word of prophecy. If it's something that you

do not understand about the Bible, you got to go back and read what the prophets wrote. Because see what the prophets wrote, you can't go wrong with that. So he is telling you that we have a more sure word of prophecy. Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. Where unto ye do well that ye take heed. Go ahead. as unto a light that shine up in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star ride arise in your heart.

And that's talking about his physical. That's talking about the divine body, sisters and brothers. That's until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. And you can read that off in Revelations 22, which we going to read a little bit later. But now verse 20, go ahead and read. Knowing this first, go ahead. that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

So it's not private. Anybody can understand it if you be taught. And also if you seek the Lord, if you truly seeking the Lord, ain't no scripture of no private interpretation. It ain't no way that this people can get the word of God and they understand what we're saying, but nobody else does. It's not like that, sisters and brothers. He said, "Knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture now is of any

private interpretation." But now this is what we here for. Verse 21, go ahead and read. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man. Do you hear what the Bible is telling you? It did not come. These words in this book did not come by the will of man. No sir. It did not come out of his mind. So the next time somebody tell you, "Amen, man wrote that Bible," you need to hit them with this right here. He said, "For the

prophecy came not in old time by the will of man." Go ahead and read. But holy men of God. He said, "But holy men of God." You see how you got to be holy? He said, "But holy men of God," go ahead and read. Spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. They spake as they was moved by the Holy Ghost, by the Holy Spirit. That's how we got Jesus going to sit on the throne of David. That's how we got the the prophecy about the seven trumpets.

That's how we know that about the restoration of Israel. They wrote it in the Bible. Now, but these men were holy and they spake as they was moved by the Holy Ghost. Point blank and period. This is how the Bible was written. Amen. So now he said, "Be ye holy for I am holy." Let's go to St. Mark the first chapter. Let's show you that you got to be just like your master. You got to

walk around the same way that he walked, the same things that he taught. You got to say the same things, sisters and brothers. So you got to change your mind. You got to change your thought process. You got to change your speech. You got to change your behavior because you representing Christ now as men and women of God. And he wants you to be holy. So now let's show you how the Lord

is holy. Let's go to St. Mark the first chapter. St. Mark 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 21. St. Mark 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 21. St. Mark 1 and we going to pick it up at verse 21. Go ahead and read. And they went into Capernaum and straightway on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.

So you really are without excuse. We already just read what Jesus was teaching on the Sabbath day in St. Luke the 4th chapter. So you going to read again in the gospel. Now when Jesus went to church, it was on the Sabbath day. And we noted that it's none other than the seventh day of the week. I showed a brother that yesterday a gentile and had to show him exactly when the Sabbath day

was. He didn't fight against it because you got people been going to church all their lives. They ain't gonna get it right now. First of all, you got to become a new creature to even receive the message. So he said they went into Capernaum and straightway on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught. So now how did the people feel about it? Verse 22. Go ahead. And they were starters at his doctrine.

Go ahead. For he taught them as one that had authority. Go ahead. And not as the scribes. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. [snorts] And he cried out, saying, "Let us alone. What have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth?" So these devils, they already knew who Jesus was. And he because Jesus was God that became man and went back to being God again. Now, so they already knew who

Jesus was. And these evil spirits, they confessed that. So now picking up at verse 24 again. Go ahead. saying, "Let us alone. What have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth?" Go ahead. Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art. Go ahead. The Holy One of God, the Holy One of God, even the Holy One of Israel, sisters and brothers. So, even when Jesus was walking on the

earth, what was he? He was holy. So, we talk about being holy all the time. We going to give you a real good lesson of what it is to be holy today. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Israel 25. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Hold thy peace and come out of hell." You hear what the Lord said. That's what you got to do to the evil spirit when it come to you. He said, "Hold thy speech and come out of it." And once you get

the evil spirit out of you, you can't let them back in no more. You can't go back to the same things that destroyed you. You cannot keep obeying everything that your body tell you to do, right? You got to put something on the back burner. But see this what holy people do because they consider the cost. So now what has happened? Go ahead. 26. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, go ahead. They cried with a loud.

So he didn't want to come out. He said that when the unclean spirit had torn him, they didn't want to let him go. Like you know how many people man that I have talked to about the Sabbath day and everybody say they going to come if they never show up. And I'm talking in particularly to the men because see the men are playing around. You got more and more women coming to church, but you got the men staying at home. Oh yeah, I'mma come.

I'mma come. I'mma come. Man, go find you somebody else to play with. Because if you looking for this, we are a 24-hour, 7 day a week priesthood at the first born. So if you going to come to class, you got to make sure that you consider the cost. Don't make no vow that you're not gonna keep. So now keep reading. Go ahead. It came out of them. And they were all amazed in so much that they questioned among themselves, saying,

"What thing is this? What new doctrine is this?" Go ahead. For with authority commandeth he, even the unclean spirit. Go ahead. And they do obey him. They obey him, sisters and brothers. Hey, whatever the Lord tell, whatever he tell them evil spirits to do, they still got to obey him. You see an earthquake that happens somewhere in the world, who you think is behind that? All of the evil angels. When you see a murder that's committed, who do you think is behind that? Evil spirits, sisters and brothers.

Yes, sir. So now, let's go a little bit further now. Let's go now to Exodus the 19th chapter. Let's get down to us because the title of the lesson is, "Be ye holy, for I am holy." So, we going to point out some physical things that make you holy. But first, let's go to Exodus the 19th chapter. Let's show you how it was when the Lord brought us up out of Egypt. Sisters and brothers, he had a requirement for us. We just not the people of God because we're black and

because we were scattered as slaves. We the people of God because he chose us to be a royal priesthood. Amen. And that's what we going to read about. So, you got to be holy. You got to separate yourselves from everybody else that's in the world. That's what God requires. Let's go to Exodus 19. Exodus 19. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. Exodus 19. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. When you get there, go ahead. Israel.

In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Si. Go ahead. For they were departed from Refiddam. So they were departed from Refiddm. Now go ahead. And were come to the desert of Si and had pitched in the wilderness. And there Israel camp before the mountain. See he had them right before him before he came down. They stopped at Mount Si now and they stayed in Mount Si for almost a year before they ended up

leaving. So they encamped at the mouth and this was none other than Mount Si where the Lord is going to come down now and give the children of Israel their instructions. But now verse three, go ahead. And Moses went up unto God. went up unto God. And the Lord came unto him out of the mountain, saying, "Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, go ahead and tell the children of Israel." So he said, "I want you to speak these words to the house of Jacob and tell the

children of Israel." So they let you know it was bigger than just the Levitical priesthood. God was speaking to the entire nation at this time. Yes, sir. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Yeah. Seen what I did unto the Egyptians. You seen what I did unto the Egyptians. You seen how I killed them and dried them in the Red Sea. You seen how I killed their firstborn. You seen how I turned their waters into blood. You seen all of that.

Yes. So, you was our witnesses to my majesty. Keep reading. Go ahead. And how I bear you on eagle's wings. Go ahead. And brought you unto myself. And I don't want to lose this. Even in the land of our captivity, you don't want to lose being on eagle's wings with the Lord because he going to take us out again on eagle's wings from all the four corners of the land once God come back. So he brought us up and he c and he he brought

us out of Egypt on eagle's wings. So now what else did he say in verse five? Go ahead. Now therefore, if you will obey my voice, we just read that the talked about fashion yourself as obedient children. Yes, sir. So the one way that you got to be holy is you got to obey. You cannot get in this word and then start disobeying God again. You cannot do that.

He said, "Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, go ahead and read and keep my covenant." And you also got to keep my covenant. Now the covenant that he is going to give them in the very next chapter. Keep reading. Go ahead. Then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people. Go ahead. For all the earth is mine. You going to be a peculiar, a special treasure unto me above all the people on the earth.

Because see, nobody else can say that God came down and spoke to their people. Nobody else can say that. He never spoke to no other nation. He only spoke to the children of Israel. And that means that he put us up on high. That means I'm going to have you above all other people on the earth. But you going to have to be a little bit different. You going to

have to operate differently from the rest of the world. And we going to read about some of these physical attributes that God tell you what to be holy with. And I'm telling you now at the age of 50, I'm moving a little bit differently now. I'm going all the way in for him. No matter who around or who not because I know what's going to be the what's going to be the price at the end of the line. Yes, sir.

So now go ahead. Israel six. And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priest. Ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priest. Go ahead. And in holy nation. You got to be a holy nation. You got to be holy, sisters and brothers. But we going to describe to you what holy is. He said, "Ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." So what does priests do?

Priests deal with the word of God all the time. Women priests, they deal with the word of God all the time. That's how you got to be with them. Go ahead and read. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. So now let's show let's go let's go back to the New Testament. Now I told you to hold you a hold you a marker in Peter because he said we a holy nation. Let's show you if anything going to change sisters and brothers. And by the time

Peter had already made this statement Peter was all Israel was already getting scattered. So Israel was alo they weren't in their native land all at this time. We was already being scattered around. But no matter what, God said, "I'm gonna be a sanctuary unto you and all of the nations where you have been scattered. I'mma still be right there for you." So now, let's go to let's go to First Peter 2 now. And we going to

pick it up at verse one. First Peter 2 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 1 Peter 2 and one. Go ahead and read. Wherefore laying your sight all Wherefore, so now we talking about your behavior, but we going to get back to it a little bit later because we holy. So if you gonna be holy, you got to act holy. You got to operate as being holy.

Yes, sir. He said, "Wherefore laying aside all malice," go ahead. In all God. He said, "And all God, that's all lying." Go ahead. And hypocrisies and envy. Go ahead. And all evil speaking. And all evil speaking. You don't supposed to be speaking evil as a Christian. We talk about this all the time now. So you got to put the hypocrisies away. You can't be envying nobody else. He said, "And all evil speaking." So now verse two, go ahead.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word. Go ahead. That ye may grow thereby. So no matter how old you think you are in the world or how long you think you've been walking in it, don't ever think that you too big to still take of the milk, the sincere milk of the word. Because it's the sincere milk of the word that's going to make you grow. I got plenty history lessons that I do, but those history lessons are good to

know. That's not going to necessarily get you in the kingdom of God. So he said as newborn babies now desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow bear thy you got to grow. So now verse three go ahead. If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Go ahead. To whom coming as unto a living stone. He said to whom coming as unto a living stone. Go ahead and read. Disallowed indeed of men.

See he is disallowed indeed of men. And you are too. You going to be disallowed of men. People gonna think you people gonna think you strange because you holy, right? People go, "Oh, you just trying to be overrighteous." No, you not trying to be overrighteous, you just obeying. That's the only thing that you're doing. He said, if so be that you have tasted that the Lord is gracious now to whom coming as unto a living stone, he said,

disallowed indeed of men. Go ahead and read. But chosen of God, go ahead. And precious. So which one would you take? You want the pat on the back from man or do you want the pat on the back from God? You want the pat on the back from the Lord. Sisters and brothers. Yes. He said you gonna be disallowed indeed of men but you going to be chosen of God and presence. Verse five. Go ahead.

Ye also as lively stones. Ye also as lively stones. Go ahead. Build up a spiritual house. We are spiritual house. Go ahead. And holy priesthood. A holy priesthood. Sisters and brothers. We are not ordinary regular people like everybody else. You're not that anymore. You used to be that. You used to fit in with the world. Yes. But now you don't fit in no more. Especially when you put on and you make your conversation in heaven. Then you going to be different from everybody else that's on the earth. Keep reading.

Go ahead. To offer up spiritual sacrifices. To offer up spiritual sacrifices. Go ahead. Acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture. Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect precious. Go ahead. And he that believeth on him, Go ahead. shall not be confounded. You ain't going to be confounded when you believe in the Lord. Because we already just read that the scriptures is what? It's not of any private interpretation.

No sir. So he going to make sure that you understand everything. Now he said, "Wherefore also it is contained in the scriptures. Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Verse seven, go ahead. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious. Ain't his blood precious? The blood that he shed on the cross, ain't it precious to you?

I know it's precious to me. That's why I don't want to put him again to a open shame on the cross by going back to the way that I used to live. We don't want to do that no more. Keep reading. Go ahead. But unto them which be disobedient, But to them which are disobedient, Go ahead and read the stone which the builders disallow. Go ahead. The same is made the head of the corner.

He going to come back. He going to be the head of the corner, sisters and brothers. No, this my block. I run this corner right here. This belong to me. And he going to run what corner? The four corners of the world, sisters and brothers. So now verse eight, go ahead. And a stone of stumbling. And this what Jesus is now. He is a stone of stumbling. Go ahead and read. and a rock of offense.

And a lot of people going to be offended in him when you come with his doctrine. He said, "And a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense." Go ahead and read. If it's a damn will stumble at the word, being disobedient, where unto also they were appointed. That's the reason why they not getting it right. They not getting it right, sisters and brothers, because they disobedient. So Jesus going to be a stone of stumbling to these people.

They're not going to understand who he truly is. They're not going to understand the the way that he paid when he truly died on the cross. They going to get together on Christmas, hold some things in his name, but not understanding what he truly died for. Right. He died to put you in the godhead. Yes, sir. And he prayed for us. Sweat and blood that we may keep the faith to get the spiritual body in the end. That's why he

died, sisters and brothers. So now verse nine, go ahead. But ye are a chosen generation. Go ahead. A royal priesthood. Go ahead. A holy nation. Once again, we back to being holy now. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. Go ahead and read. A peculiar people. A peculiar people. What we just read in Exodus the 19th chapter. He said, "A peculiar people." Go ahead and read.

That ye should show forth the praises of him which have called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Go ahead. which in the time past were not a people. which in time past were not a people now but are now the people of God which had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. We got the mercy now sisters and brothers and you know we did that like one of the lessons that I did not too long ago in Cincinnati when we was

talking about mercy. See his mercy don't fail. His mercy is everlasting sisters and brothers. So we have obtained this mercy. That's why we alive today because we got this mercy from him. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Julie, beloved, go ahead. I beseech you as strangers and pure. That's who you going to be in the world. He said you going you going to be special. Now people going to see the special they think that we are. They going to think we crazy. But we not crazy. We just crazy for Jesus. Amen.

He said, "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims now because ain't nobody going to know you no more. You going to be a man of the past, but you going to be walking in the future. Yes, sir. But you going to have the mindset of the prophets and other priests that deal with the word of God. Go ahead and read. Abstain from fleshly lust. Abstain from fleshly lust. Go ahead and read. Which war against your soul.

The only thing you got to do is stay away from it. If it's something that triggers your lust, you got to stay away from it. Yes. So now verse 12, go ahead. Have your conversation honest among the Gentiles. Go ahead. that whereas they speak against you as evildoers and they going to speak against you as evildoers, sisters and brothers. They going to cast your name out as evil.

That's just the way that the game go. Everybody going to say you wicked. They going to say you're evil. They going to say all things because you trying to live for the Lord and that's the only reason they say. Yes. Because see people really believe that Jesus is evil in the first place. That's why the world hate him. So you going you going to do the same thing that the disciples and he went through. Why?

Because the disciple is no greater than his Lord. So if they speak evil of Jesus, then they going to turn around and speak evil of you as well. So now keep reading. Go ahead. They may be your good works. Go ahead. Which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Glorify God in the day of visitation, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So now let's go to St. Matthew the 5th chapter cuz we getting ready to get into the law. So we also want you to put cuz we going to read about what make you

holy now and we going to deal with some physical things that make you holy. But now let's go to St. Matthew the 5th chapter. Let's read one of our favorite scripts that we like to read because for some unapparent reason people think that Jesus came to change the law that anything that was written in the Old Testament not valid no more. But you are sadly mistaken. Everything that was written in the Old Testament was valid,

sisters and brothers, and it still stands even until this day. And Jesus is getting ready to tell us all that. So before we get into the law, let's go show you what Jesus said in the New Testament. Let's go to St. Matthew 5. St. Matthew 5 and we going to pick it up at verse 17. St. Matthew 5 and we gonna pick it up at verse 17. We getting

older, sisters and brothers. Say we heavyweight jamming now. We ain't lightweight jamming with the people no more. You got to go in for the Lord. That's what you going to hear from me as a preacher. You got to go all the way in for Jesus. And you can't play around no more because your life is on the line. Your salvation is on the line. Your grace is on the line and your mercy is on the line right along with it.

And if you do anything wrong, you're going to lose it, sisters and brothers. So now let's go to St. Matthew 5 and pick it up at verse 17. St. Matthew 5 and verse 17. Go ahead and read. Think not that I am come to destroy the law. I just want to stop right there. He said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law." Why would he make such

a statement like that? Because he knew what was going to be ahead. He knew how they was going to try to twist the law and try to say, "Well, the law ain't no more. You ain't got to keep the law no more." They said that, sisters and brothers. So he said, "Think not that I have come to destroy the law." Go ahead and read. Or the prophets. Go ahead. I am not come to destroy. Go ahead. But to fulfill.

So he said, I have not come to destroy but to fulfill the law. Verse 18. Go ahead. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tit shall in no wise pass from the law. Go ahead. Till all be fulfilled. So you hear what it say? He said one jot or one tit shall in no wise pass from the law to all be fulfilled, sisters and

brothers. So he ain't he ain't going to tell you nothing in the law that Moses wrote that's not going to be valid even today. That's what the Bible is saying. So now verse 19, go ahead. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so go ahead. He shall be called the last in the kingdom of heaven. That's what he going to be sisters and brothers. He said, "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments now and shall teach men so,

he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven." And surprise y'all, the the least in the kingdom of heaven is the lake of fire. Because the whole kingdom, the whole kingdom belongs to the Lord now. So the least in the kingdom of heaven is going to be the location of the lake of fire. Keep reading. Go ahead. But whosoever shall do and teach them, Go ahead. the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So you hear what he's saying? Not only do but you got to teach, sisters and brothers. See, we got plenty of teachers around. The only teachers that don't stand in this room. Every time you go home to your family, you are teaching them what thus sayeth the Lord. So what does that make you? That makes you a teacher. So whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. So now, is that

it? Go ahead. Go ahead. For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. You ain't going to enter in except your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees. Why would he say that? The scribes and Pharisees tell you all about the law of Moses, but they were not keeping the law of Moses, sisters and brothers. They was they was

they was hearers of the word but they was not doers of the word. So your righteousness has got to succeed that. So now let's go to Leviticus the 11th chapter because we going to talk about some things that make you holy a little bit. Let's go let's go to Leviticus 11. People don't understand that even with the foods that you eat that make you holy sisters and brothers and anything else other than that God how can you be

holy to God and you eat pork? How can you be holy to God and you eat shrimp, lobsters, crabs, and I had a brother at work come to me the other day because you know his family was from Mississippi and he know I'm from Tennessee. So he came to me and said, "Yeah, boy. What you know about that?" I said, "What's that?" He said, "Man, my grandmama just whooped that up.

What you know about that? I ain't know nothing about that when I was eating pork. [clears throat] So I never rape those things. So no, I don't know about that." But see, those are the people we want to pray for. Those are the people that need this, sisters and brothers. They need to know what God requires of you. He is the potter and you are the clay.

So he created you. So therefore, I am going to show you what you should eat. You think, well, it ain't going to do nothing to me for this long, but it's going to do something to you when you stand before him in judgment. So now, let's go to Leviticus 11. We going to dab in the We going to dab in the Levitical priesthood real fast. Leviticus 11. And we going to pick it up at verse one. Leviticus 11 and1. Go ahead and read.

And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, Go ahead. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. So now God is telling you what to eat. Now remember, now you got to be obedient children. Now, because he is fashioning you, he said, "These are the beasts which ye shall meet among all the beasts

that are upon the earth." So now read this verse three, because this how you know if you can eat the beasts or not. Verse three, go ahead. Whatsoever part of the hoof whatsoever parteth the hoof. Go ahead and read. And is cloven footed. Cloven footed means multiple toes. It got to split the hoof and it has to also be cloven footed. So clovenf footed means multiple toes. This how you know that you can eat it. Whatsoever parted the hoof and cloven footed. Go ahead and read.

A two of the cub among the beast that ye shall eat. That shall ye eat. So, like I said in lessons a long time ago, if you want to know that if you can eat it, you got to look at his feet if it's a beast. Now, he said, "Whatsoever parted the hook and his clothing footed and cheweth the cud among the beast, that shall ye eat." So, now verse four, go ahead and read.

Nevertheless, these shall ye eat not eat of them that chew that chew to that chew. So, they going to have some of the characteristics now, but they not going to have all three. He said, "Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud." Go ahead and read. Or of them that divide the hook. Or of them that divide the hook. They maybe have one or two of the characteristics, but do not have all three. So now, keep reading. Go ahead.

As the camel, as the camel, God don't want you eating no camel. And they, that's a delicacy over in what they want to call the Middle East. He said, "As the camel, go ahead and read. because he took the cut. Go ahead. But he abideth not the hook. Go ahead. He is unclean unto you. So you cannot eat that, sisters and brothers. He said he is unclean unto you. So now verse five. Go ahead.

And the con because he's tooth. So the con is like a it's like a rabbit. But see one thing about a con. The cony's got shorter legs than what a jack rabbit. Matter of fact matter of fact I got it right here. I'm going just He said the coney is similar to a rabbit except for it short legs and ears and the absence of a tail. So they don't really have no tail now.

But see that's what a con is. So con is like rabbit. Now I'm from the south. People ate rabbit all the time when we was down south. But see God don't want you to eat that. But see just think about these animals was over in what we call the middle earth. This is these are the ones that the Lord had described. So now verse six. Go ahead.

and the hair and the hair. He said, let me let me read that as well since I have it. He said, "A baby hair uh are born with a good coat of hair and good eyesight, whereas rabbits are born naked and tinted. No native rabbits occur in Palestine, but at least two species of hairs are hairs were classified as unclean because they lack the divided hook. So that's why they don't want you eating no rabbit. And I watch movies all the time. The first thing they do come in with a rabbit and they will skin him

and eat him. Now so hair is rabbit. He said and the hair because he cheweth the cud. Go ahead and read. But divideth not the hoof. But divideth not the hoof. Go ahead. He is unclean unto you. He is unclean unto you. So what does that mean? You can't be holy and eat these things. Right? So holy is a physical act. So now verse seven. Go ahead. And the swine.

And we all know what that is. is it don't say hog or pig, but we know what swine is. We know that that's pork, sisters and brothers. God don't want you eat none of this stuff. He said, "And the swine." Go ahead and read. Though he divide the hoof, though he divide the hoof, go ahead. And be clovenfooted. Go ahead. Yet chew of not the cud. Yet he cheweth not the cud. Go ahead. He is unclean to you.

He is unclean unto you. You know what chew the cud means? That means they gonna eat the grass. It's gonna go in one stomach. They going to throw it up again and they going to turn around and eat it. That's what you the cud means, sisters and brothers. That's what the true definition of what you with the cud mean. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Eight. And their flesh shall ye not eat. Go ahead. And their caucus shall ye not touch. Go ahead and read. They are unclean unto you.

They are unclean unto you. So we going to show you why. But now let's read about the Let's read about all of the water species. Verse nine. Go ahead. These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters. Whatsoever have fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the river. Go ahead. Them shall ye eat. I remember when I first came in the word, and I'm like, man, I can't eat I can't eat oysters no

more. You know, I can't eat shrimp no more. And you know, I I'm from the country. I used to eat frog legs. I had to give all of that stuff up. So, we couldn't eat none of that. You can't eat no crawfish. You can't eat no lobster. You can't eat those things. So he said if you going to eat it and it come out of the sea that means that it got to have fins and scales. Sisters and

brothers see you can eat that. But now keep reading Elder. Go ahead. 10. And all that have not f and scales in the seas. And all that have not fins and scale in the seas. Go ahead. And in the rivers. And all that move in the waters and of any living thing which is in the waters. They shall be an abomination unto you. He said, "Even want you to hold the carcass in abomination, sisters and brothers." Keep reading. Go ahead.

11. They shall be in They shall be even an abomination unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their caucus in abomination. Go ahead and read. Read that verse 12. Go ahead. Whatsoever have no fins, nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. So it shall be an abomination unto you. But you see everybody in the world right now eating that stuff, right? You go out to a restaurant, you see everybody ordering lobster and and crabs and

scallops. But when you holy, you don't eat these things. So now, let's skip down to verse 43. Skip down to verse 43. And remember what the Lord said now about the law and the prophets. He did not come to destroy it, sisters and brothers. So now read verse 43. Go ahead. Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them.

Go ahead. That ye shall be defiled thereby. So now he going to tell you why. He said, "Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth." Now, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled thereby. Because if you eat certain foods, then you ain't going to be holy unto the Lord. And the Bible going to tell you that. Verse 44, go ahead. For I am the Lord your God. Go ahead. You shall therefore sanctify yourself.

You got to pour yourself out from the rest of the world. And what the rest of the world is doing. That's what the Bible is telling you right here. Yes. He said, "For I am the Lord your God. Ye shall therefore sanctify yourself." We going to show you what it mean now. You He said, "For I am the Lord your God. Ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves." Go ahead and read. and you shall be holy.

You got to be holy. You got to be holy with it. It ain't no other way around it. These are physical attributes that we reading about that makes you holy. So now keep reading. Go ahead. For I am holy. He says, "Ye shall be holy, for I am holy." Go ahead. Neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping things that creepeth upon the earth. Go ahead.

For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. Go ahead. You shall therefore be holy. You shall therefore be holy. Go ahead and read. For I am holy. For I am holy. You got to be holy just like the Lord is holy. Now verse 46. Go ahead. This is the law of the beast. So so much that you want to you want to think that this is one of these least commandments. But you got everybody in the world go look in their refrigerator

and you going to see what we're talking about. Just go look around. So it's people want to look at this all this just a this just a dietary law. is not small. Don't you understand? We got loved ones that still eat pork and if they don't change and turn to the Lord and be holy the way that he is holy, then what you think God going to do for them? So they around

you, you not eating pork no more? So obviously you're teaching them not to eat pork. And if they continue to do it, then what you think they going to be? That's what we got to consider. So you he said, "Ye shall therefore be holy." He go No, keep reading. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Go ahead. Go ahead. Elder 46. This is the law of the beasts and of the foul and of every living creature that moveth in the waters and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth.

Go ahead. To make a difference between the unclean and the clean. You got to make a difference between that in between being unclean and clean. Go ahead and read. And between the beast that may be eaten and between the beast that may be eaten. Go ahead. And the beast that may not be eaten. Why did he tell you all of that? because you a holy people. You a holy nation. So you can't do you got to come out of the world and you got to be separate from

them, sisters and brothers. So now let's go to Leviticus the 18th chapter. Leviticus 18. And let's show you what God said about this. Everything that we getting ready to read about every law that God gave the Canaanites was doing these things before we get it before they even got in the land. But I got a news flash for you. you around spiritual Canaanites all around in the world right now.

Let's go to Leviticus the 18th chapter. Leviticus 18. So everything that we going to read about the nations was keeping these things. So if I how am I going to separate you and you doing the exact same thing that the Canaanites were doing. Leviticus 18 and let's pick it up at verse one. Go ahead and read. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, go ahead. I am the Lord your God.

Right off the rip. Now he said, I am the Lord your God. Verse three, go ahead. After the doings of the land of Egypt, after the doings of the land of Egypt, go ahead and read. Wherein ye dwelt shall ye not do? Shall ye not do? Now, so don't do after the Egyptians. And don't do after who else? Go ahead and read. And after the doings of the Canaan of Canaan. and after the doings of the land of Canaan. Now, so you can't do these acts that they were doing and everything

that God tell you not to do. This is what they were doing. So, you got to be separated from all of this stuff. Keep reading. Go ahead. When I bring you, go ahead. Shall you not do shall ye not do? Go ahead. Neither shall you walk in their ordinances. Neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. You got to get all the way away from them. Verse four. Go ahead. Ye shall do my judgments and keep mine

ordinances to walk therein. I am the Lord your God. I am the Lord your God. Go ahead. You shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments which if a man do, he shall live in them. I am the Lord. None of you shall approach to any that is near of king to him to uncover their nakedness. Go ahead. I am the Lord. So, you know, we already read. We ain't going to read about people being super nasty today because we already read about it. But see, these what the Canaanites, they ain't have no problem

sleeping with their sister. They didn't have no problem sleeping with they with they sons wives. This is what they was doing. Now, so if somebody was king to you, you could not uncover their nakedness at all because you were holy people. So now let's skip down to verse 20. Skip down to verse 20. Now remember, now don't do the Canaanites. So now let's show you what the Canaanites was doing. Verse 20, go ahead.

Moreover, thou shalt not lie connally with thy neighbor's wife. Go ahead. To defile thyself with her. Wait, we just talked about for food defiling you, right? So these are physical things that you cannot do. You can't lie with your neighbor's wife to 1:00:00 defile thyself therewith. You can't be if she tied. We say it all the time. If she tied to somebody, she's not your woman, right?

1:00:08 If she's tied, I don't care. Oh, I'm separated right now. Listen, then you need to stay separated until you figure out what you going to do with your husband. 1:00:17 So don't don't don't fall for the okey do. Don't fall for that stuff. 1:00:21 He said he said, "Moreover, thou shalt not lie connally with thy neighbor's wife to defile thyself with her." Verse 21, go ahead and read.

1:00:29 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Moab. Go ahead. 1:00:34 Neither shalt thou profain the name of thy God. Go ahead. 1:00:38 I am the Lord. I am the Lord. You think you know they should give they seed under Molech. That means they would set a statue on fire, set the baby in the in 1:00:46 the statue's arm when it was on fire and set the children on fire. And the thing about it is you think they not doing that today. Well, you better go look at

1:00:55 what they doing in the Bohemian Grove in Northern California. 1:00:59 You think they still not burning children? You better wake up, sisters and brothers, because he's still around the spiritual Canaanite today, even 1:01:07 though you not in the land. So God said, "Do not give any of your seed unto Molech." So now keep reading. Go ahead. 1:01:14 22. Go ahead. Thou shalt not lie with mankind. Go ahead. As with Go ahead. It is abomination.

1:01:20 Get on out of here with a girl. Man, you know I'm really cool with her, man. I I work with a girl that's a sodomite. For whatever reason, she thought to walk up 1:01:28 to me because we cool. Let I told you I was married twice. Let me show you who I was married to. I looked at that picture and looked at her. Why do you even want

1:01:36 to come to me talking about you done got married to a woman and you know that I'm a preacher, right? 1:01:42 You know that on the dock I had a word of God blasted every day for all of y'all to hear it. But see, that's what Satan do. So he said, "Thou shalt not 1:01:50 lie with mankind as with womankind." It is an abomination. I don't care nothing about your pride much. God don't like it. No, sir.

1:01:58 Because see, these are the things that make you unholy, sisters and brothers. 1:02:02 So now keep reading. Go ahead and read 23. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself there. Go ahead. 1:02:09 Neither shalt any woman stand before a beast to lie down there too. Go ahead. It is confusing. 1:02:15 It's confusion. We got children in here today. We ain't going to talk about that. But all of us in here that adults, you know exactly what we talking about right now.

1:02:23 If you think that that's not going on in the world, you better wake up, man. This man is evil and he is wicked. He was evil all the way back when when the Lord 1:02:31 brought the children of Israel out of Egypt. And he is even more wicked even today. So now keep reading. Go ahead. 24. Go ahead. 1:02:39 Defile not yourselves in any of these things. Go ahead.

1:02:42 For in all these the nations are defiled. Go ahead. Which I cast out before me. 1:02:47 All of these nations are defiled which I cast out from before you. Now keep reading. And the land is defiled. Go ahead. 1:02:54 Therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it. and the land itself vomitth out her inhabitants. 1:03:02 Go ahead. 1:03:03 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, neither any of

1:03:10 your own nation, nor any stranger that sojour among you. 1:03:15 So then if Israel can't do it, that means that the stranger can't do it as well. So it can't be right for one person and then turn around and be wrong 1:03:23 for the next. So God is gonna be a fair God. So whatever we tell, whatever we do, then we got to tell the stranger

1:03:31 that it's not okay for them to do it as well. Yes, sir. 1:03:33 So now verse 27, go ahead. For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the 1:03:42 land is defiled, that the land spew not you out also when ye defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you. 1:03:51 Go ahead. 1:03:52 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, Go ahead. Even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Go ahead.

1:04:00 Therefore shall ye keep my ordinance that ye commit not any one of these abomin abominable customs which were committed before you. 1:04:11 Notice what he called. Now what do we read about Jesus custom? 1:04:14 Jesus custom. He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. But now we reading about the customs of the people. The things that the the the customs of what 1:04:23 the other nations was doing. Keep reading. Go ahead.

1:04:26 And that ye found not yourselves therein. Go ahead. I am the Lord your God. 1:04:31 I am the Lord your God. So now we ain't done with it. Let's go right off into Leviticus the 19th chapter. Now let's go 1:04:38 right into Leviticus 19. And keep it in mind. Now all he got to tell you was thou shalt not. That's really all that matters. After that should nothing else really matter after that.

1:04:48 So now Leviticus 19, let's pick it up at verse one. Let's read about some more stuff. Go ahead and read. 1:04:54 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, "Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy, for I, the Lord your 1:05:04 God, am holy." Once again, he what is he telling you now? He said, "Ye shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy," sisters and

1:05:12 brothers. So he going to tell you what it is to be holy, even in this chapter. Keep reading. Go ahead. You shall fear every man his mother. 1:05:19 He shall fear every man his mother. Go ahead. And his father. Go ahead. And keep my Sabbath. So now, go ahead. I am the Lord your God. 1:05:27 I am the Lord your God. So we going to get back to the Sabbath day a little bit later. But see, that's what make you holy because the Sabbath is holy. Yes, sir.

1:05:34 So we'll deal with that a little bit later. But he said, "Ye shall fear every man, his mother, and his father." That's what make you holy. You got to you got 1:05:42 to honor and respect your mother and your father no matter what. No matter what they have done to you. 1:05:48 Because see, God gonna get them for whatever they have done. But you cannot have the same mindset that they had. But

1:05:55 now let let's go past I didn't mean to put let's go past let's go ahead on and skip down to verse 11. Let's skip 1:06:04 because I I end up I end up uh putting in the sacrifices. We don't really need to read that. So now he said, "Ye shall 1:06:12 fear every man his mother and his father and keep my Sabbath." He said, "I am the Lord your God." So now let's go ahead on and skip down to verse 11. You can read

1:06:20 about the sacrifices later. Verse 11, even those were holy. All of the peace offerings was holy. All of the meat 1:06:28 offerings was holy. All of the wine offerings was holy. 1:06:31 So now the oil was holy. The garments was holy. The tabernacle was holy. And you are supposed to be holy with it. So now read that verse 11. Go ahead. 1:06:39 Ye shall not steal. You shall not steal. Go ahead. Neither them falsely. Go ahead. Neither lie one to another.

1:06:45 So God don't want you lying to one another. Sisters and brothers. You got to control your tongue. If you got a problem lying to one another, then maybe 1:06:52 you need to be quiet because what what what what did God say that you could tell a man got wisdom just by keeping it? He said a fool got more even when he keep his mouth closed. 1:07:02

So we talking about being holy people. 1:07:04 He said he shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. Go ahead and read. 1:07:12 And he shall not swear by by swear by my name falsely. He shall not swear by my name falsely. Go ahead. 1:07:19 Neither shalt thou profain the name of thy God. I am the Lord. Go ahead. Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor.

1:07:25 He said, "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor." Don't defraud your neighbor. 1:07:29 You can defraud your neighbor just by lying to him. Now, so he said, "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor." Go ahead and read. 1:07:37 But we got everybody robbing everybody. 1:07:39 We even got our own people. We robbing everybody. But see, holy people don't do those things now. He said, "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him." Go ahead and read.

1:07:49 The wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning. Go ahead. Thou shalt not curse the death. 1:07:56 So he say, so these are the rules. Now he said, thou shalt not curse the deaf. Go ahead and read. 1:08:02 Look for the stumbling block before the blind, but shalt fear thy God. Go ahead. I am the Lord. 1:08:08 That's what he want. He wants you to fear him, sisters and brothers, sir. He wants you to deal with him in fear. So now this is a big one right here. Verse

1:08:15 15. Go ahead and read. He shall not do no unrighteousness in judgment. 1:08:19 When it come to judging the people, you cannot do no unrighteousness when you judge the people. Go ahead and read. 1:08:28 Thou shalt not respect the person of the poor. 1:08:30 Thou shalt not respect the persons of the poor. Go ahead and read. No, under the person of the mighty. Go ahead. 1:08:36

But in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor. 1:08:39 That's how you judge your neighbor. It don't matter if he poor or if he or if he rich. It didn't matter. See, a lot of times you might show the poor people a 1:08:47 little bit more mercy, but they don't understand. You give them a little something. You go in your car, you come back out, they done stole somebody your car. A lot of poor people do that. But

1:08:55 then we got a lot of people that are rich. You tend to honor them because they got a name or a position or they got money. So therefore, you respect 1:09:04 persons. But see, God don't want you to do none of that. So now, go ahead and read 16. Go. This is a big one as well. Go ahead. 1:09:11 Thou shalt not go up and down as a terror bearer among thy people. Go ahead.

1:09:17 You just shout thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor. Go ahead. I am the Lord. 1:09:21 I am the Lord. So he said, "Neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor. I am the Lord." So what do you think they did with Jesus when he 1:09:28 died on the cross? When Jesus died on the cross, they said, "Give us Barabus now." But then we want you to crucify

1:09:35 Jesus. That's standing against the blood of your neighbor. But then he also talk about going up and down as a tail bearer 1:09:43 among thy people. Keep your mouth off other people. Don't be telling everybody business now because you might think that it's a small thing but it's big 1:09:52 with God because see God put it in a book. So you can't be going up and down as a terror among thy people. So now verse 17, go ahead.

1:10:01 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart. 1:10:04 And this is a big one as well. He said, "Thou shall not hate thy brother in thy heart. Don't hate your brother in your heart. That's in your mind. You don't 1:10:12 like somebody just because they got white skin and because you was a slave of what they did to you. God don't want you to be that way.

1:10:20 Even if you got people that's dealing in in different sexes or whatever, you still can't hate the person, right? 1:10:27 You got to hate the sin, but you got to love the person. Now, he said, "Thou shalt not hate thy brother with thine heart." Go ahead and read. 1:10:34 Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy name. 1:10:36 Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor. Go ahead and read. And not suffer sin upon him.

1:10:41 So don't suffer sin on them. Don't suffer him to fall. Don't suffer him to be destroyed by God. You let God do the destroying now. So don't suffer sin on 1:10:50 them. You eating that pork. I hope you keep on eat. No, don't tell that to your people, sisters and brothers. Because if we going to be a holy priesthood, then 1:10:58 we also got to bear the infirmities of the weak. So you got to help people. So now, keep reading. Go ahead. 18. Thou shalt not avenge.

1:11:07 Thou shalt not avenge. Go ahead. 1:11:09 Nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people. 1:11:11 So I did not write this book. God wrote this book. Now, thou shalt not avenge. 1:11:16 Don't be going out taking revenge on nobody. And he said, "Nor bear any grudge against the children of thy 1:11:23 people. Don't be bearing no grudges as well. Don't be holding on the grudge that something happened to you a long time ago. You still holding on to it.

1:11:31 You going to have to let it go." So now go ahead and read. But thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Go ahead. I am the Lord. 1:11:39 He said, I am the Lord. So now, let's skip down to verse 26. Now, we going to read a little bit more. Skip down to verse 26. We ain't going to You can read 1:11:48 the rest of that on your own, too, when you come into the land. You couldn't make clean riddance of it. Now, you had to give it all to the poor. But now, go

1:11:56 ahead and read verse 26. Go ahead and read. 1:11:58 You shall not eat anything with the blood. 1:12:01 You shall not eat anything with the blood. Don't you know people eat blood? 1:12:04 people drinking blood to stay young, killing children. So they and black black children in particular. How you 1:12:11 think so many children in Africa go missing and it's never reported. Well, what are they doing to those black children? They drinking their blood,

1:12:19 sisters and brothers. So he said, "Ye shall not eat anything with the blood because if you eat the blood, then you not holy unto the Lord." Go ahead and read. 1:12:28 Neither shall ye use enchantment. 1:12:30 Neither shall ye use enchantment. Go ahead and read. nor observe time. Go ahead. 1:12:35 You shall not round the corners of your beard of your head. Go ahead. 1:12:39 Neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

1:12:42 Neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. I tell every brother all the time I I tease men now. Hey, I see a man with a long beard. I say I'm still the 1:12:49 king now. So, hey, listen here. This what it is what it is. And don't nobody dispute it. So, you know, I love my beard. I wear a beard because Jesus wore 1:12:58

a beard. Yes, sir. So he told so he is speaking to the whole congregation of Israel too. This is not just a Levitical priesthood that we talking about. So he 1:13:06 said ye shall not round the corners of your heads neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. So now this is a big one. Verse 28. Go ahead and read. 1:13:16 Ye shall not make any cutings in your flesh for the dead.

1:13:20 Ye shall let's let's break this down now. Ye shall not make any cutings in your flesh for the dead. So now let's read a little something right here. He 1:13:28 said, so this was remember think about the time frame that you in you're dealing with the ancient Canaanites now and what they was dealing with. So 1:13:37 ancient Canaanites and near eastern tribes and ancient east particularly among the Canaanites and neighboring

1:13:44 ancient tribes nashing and cutting the skin was a standard morning of rituals. 1:13:51 He said grievers would cut their arms, flesh or chest to show the deceased to honor the appease the ancestral spirits. 1:14:00 So you know y'all remember the movie Predator? Y'all remember right before he died it was also in Indian culture they when the predator was going to kill him 1:14:09 and he took the machete and cut himself right across his flesh before he died.

1:14:13 That's what God is talking about. But see we got people in the world that's doing that now. So now let's read the other half of it because it's a 1:14:21 two-edged sword. You shall not make any cutings in your flesh for the dead. Go ahead and read. 1:14:27 Nor print any marks upon nor print any marks upon you. What you think he talking about the t they was tatting their skins. They was doing

1:14:35 that. So think about what they was doing in the past and you can apply it now. So you going to put these tats in your skin. It goes underneath the dermis of 1:14:44 your skin and it remains there. So back in ancient cult and customs when people were getting the tattoos on their bodies 1:14:52 that was honoring spirits and ancestrals for the dead. So I'm not going to have you do that as well. So he said you shall not make any cutings in your flesh

1:15:01 for the dead nor print any marks upon you. Go ahead and read. I am the Lord. 1:15:06 I am the Lord. So now read that verse 29. Go ahead. 1:15:10 Do not prostitute thy daughter to cause her to be a Do not prostitute thy daughter that cause her to be a Go ahead and read. 1:15:17 Lest the land fall to whoredom and the land become full of wicked and the land become full of wickedness.

1:15:23 See, we don't think about that. When a woman standing on the corner and she got to sell herself to take care of her kids, it's some man that put her out 1:15:31 there to do that. It's some man that if she don't come back with a certain amount of money that he's going to beat this woman for that. But when you think 1:15:39 about it, sisters and brothers, it's a man that put her out there to do it. So do not prostitute thy daughter to cause

1:15:46 her to be a least the land fall to whoro, and the land become full of wickedness. So now verse 30, go ahead. 1:15:53 You shall keep my Sabbath and reverence my sanctuary. 1:15:57 You shall keep my Sabbath and reverence my sanctuary. Go ahead and read. I am the Lord. 1:16:02 Like I said, we going to get to the Sabbath later. So now read that verse 31. Verse 31. Go ahead.

1:16:07 Regard not them that have familiar spirits. 1:16:11 Regard not them that have familiar spirits. People that's dealing with witchcraft. Sisters and brothers, you got a lot of this that's in the world today as well. Go ahead and read. 1:16:20 Neither seek after wizards to be defiled by them. 1:16:24 So just seeking unto them, you are defiling yourselves with them. Sisters and brothers. Right. 1:16:29 He said, "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards to be defiled by them." Go ahead and read.

1:16:37 I am the Lord your God. 1:16:38 I am the Lord your God. Verse 32. Go ahead. Thou shalt rise up before the holy head. 1:16:43 And honor the face of your old man. Go ahead. And fear thy God. Go ahead. I am the Lord. See, this will make you holy as well. 1:16:50 That's your attitude. That's your behavior. Which we going to talk about a little bit later. He said, he said, "Thou shalt rise up before the hory head

1:16:57 now and honor the face of the old man and fear thy God. I am the Lord." But look how they treat old people now. 1:17:04 Right? Look how old people get treated in the world. Because they not holy, sisters and brothers. Verse 33. Go ahead. 1:17:11 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not bet him. Go ahead. 1:17:17 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself.

1:17:25 That's what he talking about. You got to love your neighbor. See, these are the things that make you holy. Now he said, "But the stranger that dwelleth with you 1:17:32 shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself." Go ahead and read. For ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. 1:17:41 So don't forget when you were strangers in the land of Egypt, how you got treated in the land, so you can't hate nobody else. Go ahead and read. I am the

1:17:50 Lord your God. You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteor, 1:17:56 in weight, or in measure, just bounces, just weights, a just epha, and a just head shall ye have. 1:18:06 Go ahead. I am the Lord your God. Go ahead. 1:18:09 Which brought you out of the land of Egypt. Go ahead. 1:18:12 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes and all my judgments, and do them. Go ahead.

1:18:19 I am the Lord. So now you so with all of this stuff we just read now what did he tell you at the very end? He said therefore shall ye observe all my 1:18:28 statutes and all my judgment and do them. I am the Lord your God. So now just give you just give you what holy 1:18:36 means. Holy means set apart. It means sacred. It means pure. It describes

1:18:43 something or someone dedicated to a divine purpose or a connection to God. 1:18:50 That's what holy really means, sisters and brothers. That's what holy is talking about. 1:18:55 So now, let's go right up in Leviticus the 20th chapter. Now, Leviticus TW uh Leviticus 20. Leviticus 20. And we going 1:19:03 to pick it up at verse one. We going to read about We going to read about this Molech God really again now because it's still going on even today. Let's go to

1:19:11 Leviticus 20 and let's pick it up at verse one. Leviticus 20 and one. Go ahead, Elder. And the Lord spake unto 1:19:18 Moses, saying again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the 1:19:27 strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech, he shall surely be put to death. 1:19:34 He had to be put to death. You couldn't even spare him if you found out that he had children that he killed with fire to a pagan god. He wasn't even supposed to

1:19:43 live, sisters and brothers. They say, "He shall surely be put to death." Go ahead and read. 1:19:47 The people of the land shall stone him with stone. Go ahead. 1:19:51 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he hath given of his 1:19:58 seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

1:20:04 Go ahead. And if the people of the land do any wise, hide their eyes from the man when he giveth his seed unto Mole and kill him not. 1:20:14 Go ahead. 1:20:15 Then I will set my face against that man and against his family. 1:20:19 I'm gonna kill all of them, sisters and brothers. He said, you see, you don't you understand that you your your behavior can get your whole family in

1:20:27 trouble. That's why you got a tower line with God. Let's say you knew a man that gave his seed unto Molech and you hid it from everybody and you didn't kill him 1:20:35 not. He said, "I'm gonna set my face against that man and I'm gonna kill him and his family." Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. And will cut him off 1:20:44 and all that go of whoring after him to commit whoredom with Molech from among their people and the soul that turneth

1:20:53 after such as have familiar spirits and after wizards to go ahead. 1:20:58 I will even set my face against that soul. Go ahead. 1:21:01 And will cut him off from among his people. 1:21:04 From among my people. And that's all you seeing in the world. Everybody dealing with familiar spirits and seeking after wizards. Now that's what you seeing, 1:21:11 sisters and brothers. So now keep reading. Go ahead. Sanctify yourselves therefore.

1:21:17 He says, "Sanctify yourselves therefore." Go ahead. And be ye holy. And be ye holy. Go ahead. For I am the Lord your God. 1:21:24 For I am the Lord your God. So once again, now you got God telling you to be holy, sisters and brothers. Yes sir. 1:21:30 So now keep reading. Go ahead. We ain't done because we trying to be holy people. So now keep reading. Go ahead.

1:21:35 And ye and ye shall keep my statutes and do them. I am the Lord which sanctify you. 1:21:41 I am the Lord which sanctify you. I'm going set you apart so you cannot be like the rest of the world. So now let's show you when you want to talk bad to 1:21:49 your mother and you want to talk bad to your father. Let's show you what happened to you. Verse nine. Go ahead.

1:21:55 For everyone that curseth his father or his mother, go ahead, shall be surely put to death. 1:22:00 That's how God feel about it. So why that's why all these kids out here dying now, they disobey their parents, curs their mother and their father out. And 1:22:08 you see a whole lot of kids nowadays that's being killed. So he said, "For everyone that cursthed his father or his

1:22:15 mother shall surely be put to death." So why? Go ahead and read. He have cursed his father or his mother. Go ahead. His blood shall be upon him. 1:22:23 His blood shall be upon him. News flash. 1:22:26 Honoring your mother and your father is in the ten commandments. Yes, sir. So when you don't do that, you break the covenant, sisters and brothers. So now verse 10. Go ahead.

1:22:35 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife. Go ahead. 1:22:39 Even he that committh adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer, and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. 1:22:46 So you might be getting away with it right now. You got men and women, they got husbands and wives, and then they sleeping with other people. But we read 1:22:53 it all the time. He said, "Let the wheat grow with the tear. I'mma separate them at the harvest. I'm gonna get you at the end of the line when you can't be get

1:23:01 God no more." This going to be the end of it. So now he said, "And a man that committed adultery with another man's 1:23:08 wife, even he that committed adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." So now verse 11, go ahead. 1:23:18 And the man that lith with his father's wife having covered his father's nakedness. Go ahead.

1:23:23 Both of them shall surely be put to death. Go ahead. Their blood shall be upon them. He said their blood shall be upon them. 1:23:32 So now keep reading. Go ahead. 1:23:34 12. And if a man lie with his daughter-in-law, you got we I mentioned that a little bit earlier. Now you got you got you got you 1:23:41 got a son. He might get get married to a woman and love her and then he got his dad looking at him and then as soon as he leave the house you got his father

1:23:49 trying to get at his wife. That's that's some wickedness, sisters and brothers. 1:23:53 He said if a man lie with his daughter-in-law, go ahead and read. 1:23:56 Both of them shall surely be put to death. Go ahead. They have brought confusion. They have brought confusion. Go ahead. Their blood shall be upon them. 1:24:05 Go ahead. If a man also lie with a man with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, bubble them have committed an

1:24:13 abomination, that shall surely be put to death. Go ahead. The blood shall be upon them. 1:24:19 So, we just we just went to two chapters and read about the homosexual thing. So, we read about how God truly feels about 1:24:26 this subject. So, now let's go. Let's keep reading. Let's skip down to verse 22. Now, verse 22. Go ahead. Ye shall 1:24:34 therefore keep all my statutes and all my judgments and do them that the land which I bring you to dwell therein spew you not out.

1:24:43 Go ahead. 1:24:44 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nations. 1:24:46 Ye shall not walk in the manner of the nations. Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. 1:24:51 Which I cast out before you, for they commit all these things. So everything that we just read about from Leviticus 1:24:58 19 to20, everything that we read, those is what the nations were doing, sisters and brothers. Every last one of them. So

1:25:06 this is why God want you to be separate from them. Keep reading. Go ahead. And therefore I have hoarded them. But I 1:25:13 have said unto you, you shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you as a to possess it, a land that flowth 1:25:22 of milk and honey. I am the Lord your God. Go ahead. 1:25:25 Which have separated you from other people.

1:25:28 Which have separated you from other people because you holy. So now verse 25, go ahead. 1:25:33 Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean. That that's why we read Leviticus 11. 1:25:39 Now ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean. Go ahead. And between unclean bows and unclean. 1:25:46 Go ahead. And ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast or by foul or by any manner of living thing that

1:25:53 creepeth upon the earth which I has separated from you as unclean. Go ahead. And ye shall be holy unto me. 1:26:02 Once again we keep reading the same verse. Now he said you shall be holy unto me. Go ahead and read. 1:26:08 For I am the Lord for I the Lord am holy and have severed you from other people. 1:26:14 Go ahead. that ye should be mine, that you belong to him. Amen. That's the reason why you're holy. That's why he want you to be separate.

1:26:22 So everything that we read about that's what the nations was doing. So now let's read about the Sabbath day. Let's go to Exodus uh the 31st chapter. Let's go to Ex. You got one more. Okay. I'm sorry. 1:26:33 Go ahead. Okay. Okay. That's it. You're right. 1:26:36 Okay. Yes, sir. Okay. Now, let's go to Exodus 31. Now, Exodus 31. See, that's another thing that separates you from

1:26:43 the world is the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. 1:26:46 He said it's going to be a sign between me and my people. And we gonna read about it because see, the Sabbath day is holy. And he want us to treat it as a holy day. 1:26:56 So now, let's go to Exodus 31. Let's talk about it because like I said, I get so mad. But then at the same time, I

1:27:04 get, you know, how many people I done invited and they say they coming? 1:27:08 I didn't even have people I say come even if I'm not even here come. But Satan keep keeping people away from the Sabbath day. He keeps them away from it. 1:27:18 So now let's go to Exodus 31 and we going to pick it up at verse 12. Exodus 31 and we going to pick it up at verse

1:27:26 12. Exodus 31 and 12. Let's deal with the Sabbath day because holy people deal with a holy day and all of the holy days 1:27:34 that God have. We got some coming up at the end of this month. Let's go to Exodus 31 and we going to pick it up at verse 12. 31 and 12. Go ahead and read. 1:27:44 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Go ahead. Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my Sabbath ye shall keep.

1:27:52 He said, verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep. Verily means truly. Now he says, speak thou also unto the children of 1:27:59 Israel, saying, verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep. Go ahead and read. For it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations. 1:28:07 Wait a minute now. It's a sign between me and you throughout your generations. 1:28:12 That's the sign. The Sabbath day is the glueing bond. Now that keeps you connected with God. Keep reading. Go ahead.

1:28:19 That ye may know that I am the Lord that do sanctify you. 1:28:24 That I am the Lord that does sanctify you. So now verse 14, go ahead. You shall keep my Sabbath therefore. 1:28:30 You shall keep my Sabbath therefore. Go ahead. For it is holy unto you. 1:28:34 It's holy, sisters and brothers, when you keep the Sabbath day is holy. He said, he said, "Ye shall therefore keep

1:28:40 the Sabbath, for it is holy unto you." Go ahead and read. 1:28:44 Everyone that defileth it shall surely be put to death. 1:28:47 You heard what the book say. He said, "Everyone that defileth it shall surely be put to death." Go ahead and read. 1:28:53 For whosoever doeth any work therein, go ahead. 1:28:56 That soul shall be cut off from among his people, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. So now, so much for you going out working on the Sabbath day.

1:29:05 Nobody should make you be able to work on the Sabbath day when you're holy, sisters and brothers. Holy people going to deal with a holy day. So now, what are the instructions that God gave you? 1:29:16 Verse 15, go ahead. 1:29:17 Six days may works be done, but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest. 1:29:21 It is a Sabbath of rest. Go ahead and read. Holy to the Lord.

1:29:24 It's holy to the Lord, sisters and brothers. Go ahead. Whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children 1:29:33 of Israel shall keep the Sabbath to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations or a perpetual covenant. 1:29:40 That's a perpetual covenant. A perpetual covenant is an ongoing covenant, sisters and brothers. So he going to tell you once again, verse 17, go ahead.

1:29:50 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever. 1:29:53 That's the sign. He said, "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever." Go ahead and read. 1:29:59 For in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth. And on the seventh day, he rested and was refreshed. Go ahead. 1:30:07 And he gave unto Moses when he had made an end of communing with him upon Mount Si, two tables of testimony, tables of stone.

1:30:15 Go ahead. Written with the finger of God. 1:30:18 Written with the finger of God. These are the Lord's instructions, sisters and brothers. Not over das, not Israel. 1:30:24 church of the firstborn or any other churches that that's not this come from the Lord, sisters and brothers. 1:30:30 So now let's show you that the Sabbath was made for man. This was made for you. 1:30:34 It was made for you to rejoice. It was made for you not to bear no burdens on this day. Let's go to St. Mark 2. St.

1:30:41 Mark 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 27. St. Mark 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 27. This why I love the Sabbath day. 1:30:50 Yes. Hey. Hey, listen here. There is no other day that I look for other than this one, sisters and brothers, because I get a chance to see the people that I love and the people that love me.

1:30:59 Yes, sir. 1:31:00 Don't nobody else really love me like that in the world. I get false love in the world. I even get false love from my b from from from family. False love. But 1:31:09 I don't get that from my f from my church members. That's right. 1:31:12 That's why Jesus said, "Hey man, who is my mother and who is my father?" And that's they that keep the commandments of the Lord. This is my mother and my father. Yeah.

1:31:21 So now let's go to St. Mark 2. I'm looking for those that do that because I'm looking for I'm looking for strength. So now we going to just read a couple of verses right here. St. Mark 2. 1:31:30 And let's pick it up at verse 27. Go ahead and read. 1:31:33 And he said unto them, go ahead. The Sabbath was made for man. The Sabbath was made for man. Go ahead. And not man on the Sabbath.

1:31:39 And if you really look at what he's saying, you ain't going to go out and look at no crescent food and to determine what the Sabbath day is because the Sabbath ain't for you. It's 1:31:47 not it's was made for you and not man for the Sabbath. 1:31:50 That mean if you going out looking at phases of the moon, you calling the Sabbath day. Think about it.

1:32:00 And he said unto them, the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. So now verse 28, go ahead and read. 1:32:07 Therefore the son of man, therefore, he said, therefore the son of man is what? 1:32:12 Is Lord also of the Sabbath. Like we a like like it's like what Thomas said when he said my Lord and my God. He said 1:32:19

therefore the son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath sisters and brothers. He is lord of it. So now let's go to Jeremiah 1:32:27 17. Jeremiah 17 and we going to pick it up at verse 14. Jeremiah 17 and we going 1:32:35 to pick it up at verse 14. You know we can't wait to look over there and see Satan in the lake of fire keeping so many people from coming to church on the

1:32:43 side. He gonna have to stand for that as well. He gonna be held accountable for that. And the people that listen to him in the end, they gonna be accountable 1:32:51 for it as well. Let's go to Jeremiah 17 now. Jeremiah 17 and we going to pick it 1:32:58 up at verse 14. Jeremiah 17 and we going to pick it up at verse 14. Let's see what the book say. Go ahead and read.

1:33:07 Heal me, oh Lord. Heal me, oh Lord. Go ahead. And I shall be healed. 1:33:11 I ain't go to no doctor for my knee. I went to the doctor. 1:33:15 Amen. Brother, he said, "Heal me, oh Lord, and I shall be healed." Tore my tore my knee up. Was on the side of my leg. Tore the ACL. Tore the MCL. 1:33:29 Tore it all. Didn't wear a brace but a week. But I gave it to the Lord because the same person that broke me down is the same person that's going to heal me.

1:33:38 So he said, "Heal me, oh Lord, and I shall be healed." What else did he say? Go ahead and read. Save me. Go ahead. I shall be saved. 1:33:45 Point, blank, and period. Save me and I shall be saved. Not will be saved. That's the present. 1:33:53 Yes, sir. I shall be saved. Go ahead and read. For thou art my prayer. 1:33:57 And that's the only reason why. Because your praise come from the Lord, sisters and brothers. So now verse 15, go ahead.

1:34:04 Behold, they say unto me, go ahead. 1:34:06 Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come now. As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee. 1:34:15 And I and I feel the same way, man. He said, "As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee." Go ahead and read. 1:34:23 Neither have I desired to walk on day. Go ahead.

1:34:25 Thou knowest that which came out of my lips. Go ahead. Was right before thee. 1:34:30 Everything that come out of your lips got to be right before him. Amen. 1:34:34 Everything, your speech, everything got to be right. So now, what else did the prophet Jeremiah say? Verse 17, go ahead. Be not a terror unto me. 1:34:43 Be not a terror unto me. Go ahead. Thou art my hope in the day of evil.

1:34:47 When you got the evil day, who going to be your hope? The Lord going to be your hope. Yes, sir. 1:34:51 The Lord going to be your joy and he going to be your strength. So now verse 18, go ahead. 1:34:56 Let them be confounded that persecute me. Go ahead. But let not me be confounded. 1:35:02 Don't let me be confounded. I know how not to be confounded. What's the secret? Stand in the book. Stand in prayer.

1:35:09 That's how you don't get confused and be confounded. Because I'm not going to investigate anything that I haven't taken to the Lord first and given it to 1:35:17 you. It's going to be carefully studied and it's going to be carefully sought out. So he said, "Let them be confounded 1:35:24 that persecute me, but let not me be confounded." Go ahead and read. Let them be dismayed. Go ahead.

1:35:30 But let not me be dismayed. Bring upon them a day of evil. and destroyed them with double destruction. 1:35:38 Boy, you boy, you better hear what he talking about. Jeremiah had another spirit on him. See, Jeremiah wasn't playing around. He wasn't doing all of 1:35:45 the lapy tappy stuff or that that that you see people doing in the world. He settled straight up 1:35:54 of evil and destroy them with double destruction. Sisters and brothers, verse 19, go ahead. Thus said the Lord unto

1:36:02 me, "Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by which 1:36:09 they go out, and and all the gates of Jerusalem, and say unto them, hear ye the word of the Lord, ye kings of Judah, 1:36:18 and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem that enter by these gates." Go ahead. 1:36:25 Thus sayeth the Lord, take heed to yourself.

1:36:28 Go ahead. Yeah. And bear no burden on the Sabbath day. 1:36:30 Don't even Don't bear no burdens on the Sabbath day either. See, this one that we tend to forget about. Don't bear no burdens on the Sabbath day. Don't come 1:36:38 to class all sad and like you don't want to be here. You ought to be rejoicing to be in here. Yes, sir. 1:36:43 Like I say all the time, you could have be you could have it's better to be seen than to be viewed. So God brought you

1:36:50 here for a reason. So like I say, like I don't know what nobody else come here for, but I come here to praise the Lord. 1:36:57 And that's every Sabbath day. I come here to praise the Lord. Period. 1:37:01 So now, like I say, I'm gonna be moving a little differently at 50, man, because see, time is short. So I'm going to make sure I use my time wisely. He said,

1:37:09 "Thus sayeth the Lord." He said, "Take heed to yourselves and bear no burden on the Sabbath day." Go ahead and read. 1:37:15 Nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem. Go ahead. 1:37:18 Neither carry forth burden out of your houses on the Sabbath. 1:37:22 Don't leave. Don't bring no burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day. So what? You behind in your bills. You ain't behind on the Sabbath day. You dead on time on the seventh day. Amen.

1:37:31 So you got to leave your problems at home. Leave all your burdens at home when it comes to the Lord's day. How you going to show up for the Lord's day being sad and mad. 1:37:41 That's why he say don't bear no burdens on it. He said neither car forth a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day. Go ahead and read. Neither do any

1:37:49 neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the Sabbath day, as I commanded your father. Go ahead. 1:37:57 But they obeyed not. But they obeyed not. Go ahead. 1:38:00 Neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stick that they might not hear nor receive instruction. 1:38:07 Go ahead. And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, sayaeth the Lord, to bring in no burden through

1:38:16 the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but halt on the Sabbath day to do no work therein. Go ahead. 1:38:23 Then shall there enter into the gates of this city, kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in 1:38:30 chariots and horses, they and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Go ahead. 1:38:38 And this city shall remain. That's the only thing he gave you.

1:38:41 That's what he gave you. If you if we just would have kept the Sabbath. I know you messed up. I know you're fornicating. I know you're lying. I know you're swearing by my name falsely. But 1:38:49 if you keep this Sabbath day, if you keep the Sabbath day, then I'm going to have your children coming into the city riding on horses and sitting on the 1:38:57

throne forever. So what was the first thing that the children of Israel let go? They lost sight of the Sabbath day, sisters and brothers. That's why nobody come today. So now verse 26, go ahead. 1:39:08 And they shall come from the cities of Judah and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from 1:39:17 the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise unto the house of the Lord.

1:39:28 I can't wait till we get back to this. 1:39:29 I'm tired of being the only people being happy on the Sabbath. I want the whole world to be happy on the Sabbath day. Everybody be on one accord. Yes. 1:39:37 Everybody happy on it. So now verse 27, go ahead. What's the penalty if you do not hollow the Sabbath day? Verse 27. Go 1:39:45 ahead. But if ye will not hearken unto me to holl the Sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in the

1:39:54 gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces 1:40:02 of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. 1:40:05 I'm going to burn it up, and I'mma tear it to the ground, that it ain't going to be quenched, sisters and brothers. 1:40:10 That's what God is saying. So now, let's get down to the individual. Now, let's get back to being holy. Let's go to Ephesians the 4th chapter. Ephesians 4.

1:40:19 We getting close. We only got a few more after this. Let's go to Ephesians the 4th chapter. Ephesians 4. See, these are 1:40:26 the things that make you holy, sisters and brothers. Hopefully, we all getting the real rendition of what it is, what God requires of us. 1:40:34 And we got to do it. He said we got to observe all of these statues in doing. 1:40:39

Let's go to Ephesians 4 now. And we going to pick it up at verse 13. 1:40:43 Ephesians 4 and we are going to pick it up at verse 13. Ephesians 4 and 13. 1:40:52 Let's talk about how we got to operate as men and women of God with our behavior because see your behavior is also what's going to make you holy. So now Ephesians 4:13, go ahead and read.

1:41:03 Till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God. 1:41:08 See that's why we was talking about everybody now. So there and now we see Paul picked up where the prophet Jeremiah left off. He said, "Till we all 1:41:16 come in the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the son of God." Because a lot of people do not have the

1:41:23 knowledge of the son of God or have the unity of the faith. They don't have either one. So now go ahead. 1:41:29 Unto a perfect man unto a perfect man. Go ahead. 1:41:32 Unto the measure of the stature, fullness of Christ, everything. You wait a minute. Now he said to a perfect man unto the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ. 1:41:44 That's when God considers you to be perfect. Now we can't say that we perfect but we can let the Lord say that. Yes sir.

1:41:51 So he said till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God unto a perfect man unto the 1:41:58 measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. And I want to get there before I die. Amen brother. 1:42:05 Verse 14. Go ahead. that we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of

1:42:13 dodger by the slate of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie and wait to deceive. 1:42:21 Go ahead. but speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things which 1:42:29 is the head even Christ from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint 1:42:38 supply according to the effectual working in the measure of every part make of increase of the body unto the

1:42:47 edifying of itself in love. You hear what he said, sisters and brothers, from whom the whole body fitly joined 1:42:54 together and compacted by that which every joint supplied according to the effectual working and the measures of 1:43:01 every part making increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. You got to keep you got to take care of this 1:43:08 temple you got. This is your temple and this is the temple of the living God.

1:43:12 And you don't want to abuse your temple through sin or through anything that the other nations was doing which God cast out as evil. So now verse 17, go ahead. 1:43:23 This I say therefore go ahead and testify in the Lord that ye henceforth walk not as Gentiles walk in the vanity 1:43:31 of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in

1:43:39 them because of the blindness of their heart. Go ahead. 1:43:43 Who being past filling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness to work all uncle ugliness with greed. 1:43:52 So that lasciviousness that makes you unholy. That's unbridled lust, sisters and brothers. That's what lasciviousness 1:43:58 is. Unbridled sexual lust. So God wants you to get away from all of this because this keeps you from being holy. So now verse 20, go ahead and read.

1:44:08 But you have not so learned Christ. 1:44:10 Go ahead. If so be that ye have heard him and have been taught by him as the 1:44:16 truth is in Jesus that ye put off concerning the former conver conversation the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust. 1:44:27 So now we going to talk about change and we talked about it briefly in a lesson not too long ago. But you got to put off the old man or the old woman. You can't

1:44:35 be the the old person that would cuss anybody out. go do anything that they want to do. Backbite against your brother or your sister with your tongue. 1:44:43 You don't want to be that way because your conversation is your behavior. He said that you put up concerning the former conversation, the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful. 1:44:55 Thus, but now verse 23, go ahead.

1:44:57 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. 1:45:02 Be renewed in the spirit. Ask the Lord to give you a clean heart. Give me a clean mind. Verse 24. Go ahead. 1:45:10 And that ye put on the new man. You got to put on the new man. Go ahead. 1:45:14 Which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness?

1:45:17 Wait a minute now. What? So we talk He said that you put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and what? True holiness. 1:45:27 Yes. True holiness. Keep reading. Go ahead. 25. Wherefore? Putting away lime. 1:45:34 Wherefore putting away lying. We read that in the Levitical priesthood. He said, "Wherefore putting away lying, go ahead and read. 1:45:41 Speak every man truth with his neighbor." Go ahead. For we are members of one another. Go ahead. Be ye angry and sin not.

1:45:48 You hear what the book said. It said, "Be ye angry and sin not." Don't let your anger get the best of you because your anger can take away from your 1:45:56 holiness. He said, "Be ye angry and sin not." Go ahead and read. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. 1:46:03 Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. 1:46:06 But God is saying, don't go to bed angry. Don't go to bed mad. So before that sun go down, whatever wrath that's in your body, you got to make sure that

1:46:14 you get it out of you before the sun go down. Yes, sir. 1:46:16 Because if you do not, what did he say in verse 27? Go ahead. Need to give place to the devil. 1:46:22 Because when you get angry, you are giving place to the devil. Because when you angry, you liable to do anything. 1:46:30 You liable to say anything to one another. So now verse 28, let's go read about Leviticus 19 again. Go ahead.

1:46:38 Let him that stole steal no more. Go ahead. 1:46:41 But rather let him labor working with his hands the thing which is good that he may have to give to him that needeth. 1:46:49 Go ahead. 1:46:50 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth. 1:46:52 I mean, it is what it is. I ain't even gonna get up here and talk about cussing today. I say it too much. So now, whatever you consider to be corrupt

1:47:00 communication, I'm going to leave it with you. But he said, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth." So you got to take heed to that. 1:47:08 How you going to be talking the holy word of God and you still dropping fbombs at the same time? That's not a holy mouth. That's not a holy 1:47:16 conversation. So God want you to he said first he said put on the new man, didn't it? So he said, "Let no corrupt

1:47:23 communication proceed out of your mouth." But what supposed to come out of your mouth? Go ahead. But that which is good to the use of edifying. 1:47:31 That which is good to the use of edifying. Building people up. Not tearing them down, but building people up. That's what you use your mouth for. 1:47:39 Edify. Go ahead and read. 1:47:41 That it may minister grace unto the hearers.

1:47:44 That he may minister grace unto the hearers of people. The people that's listening to you is what they need to hear. When you speak holy and divine 1:47:52 words, it's what people need to hear. So now verse 30, go ahead. and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are 1:48:01 sealed unto the day of redemption. Go ahead. 1:48:03 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all mouth.

1:48:10 You want to put some away on purpose, put put that away. Yes, sir. 1:48:14 Put your bitterness away. Put your wrath and your anger and your clamor and your evil speaking. Put that away from you 1:48:21 with all malice. So all malice is doing something on purpose. So if you want to do something on purpose, put this away 1:48:28 from you. So now, what else does God want you to do to be? Verse 32, go ahead.

1:48:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake, hath forgiven you. 1:48:41 Have forgiven you. See, we talking about being holy people, sisters and brothers, holy men and holy women of God. This is what we do. So now, let's go to First Timothy the 4th chapter. 1 Timothy 4. 1:48:53 And we gonna pick it up at verse one. 1 Timothy 4. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. I'm gonna clear some up. I did I meant to bring a book because I

1:49:01 was going to do a small history reading, but I I I I I decided not to. We'll just walk our way through this. Let's go to 1:49:08 First Timothy 4 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. 1 Timothy 4 and we gonna pick it up at verse one because see a 1:49:17 lot of people come to you right when they come right here, they come to people by the dietary law. I had somebody not too long ago that was in

1:49:24 Cincinnati came to me with this exact same script, but not understanding that Paul was warning you about a church. He 1:49:32 was warning you about the Roman Catholic Church that was going to come because these were some of the characteristics that they were doing to be a cardinal or 1:49:40 to be a priest or to be a nun. So now let's go to 1 Timothy 4. That's the one that Paul warned them against. He warned

1:49:47 the he warned the Romans not to try to take the baton from Israel and that's what they did and they going to suffer for it in the end. Yes, sir. 1:49:55 But now first Timothy 4, pick it up at verse one. Go ahead, El. 1:49:58 Now the spirit speak of expressing that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, doctrines of devil.

1:50:07 He said in these last days they going to depart from the faith. So when we get people and tell them to come to class and come get your soul saved, come meet 1:50:15 elders and come meet mothers and they lives are in turmoil and you won't come. 1:50:21 Don't tell me that you strung out on drugs and you don't want to come to the Sabbath day because we trying to show you how to get off drugs. So he said,

1:50:28 "Now the spirit speaking expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing 1:50:37 spirits and doctrines of devils." What else they going to do? Verse two, go ahead. Speaking lies in hypocrisy. Go ahead. 1:50:43 Having your conscience shared with a hot iron. 1:50:46 So now he going to tell you about what this church is now. What do they do? Go ahead. Forbidding to marry.

1:50:51 So this what they do in the Roman Catholic church to be accord. 1:50:56 They said forbidding you to marry. But the very first commandment that God gave man was to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Yes. 1:51:06 Which we going to cover what that replenish is soon. Boy, we're going to bust some heads in here real soon, boy. Cuz we found out something about Satan.

1:51:13 So now he said, "For been to marry, go else." What else did he say? Go ahead. 1:51:18 And commanded to abstain from meats which God had created to be received with thanksgiving. Go ahead. Of them which believe and know the truth. 1:51:26 Of them which believe and know the truth. So that's why you have meatless Fridays in the Roman Catholic Church. 1:51:31 They tell you in order to be accepted that on Fridays you can't eat no meat.

1:51:36 But see God but see Paul is letting you know he said which God had created to be received with thanksgiving of them which 1:51:43 believe and know the truth. So we just read the truth earlier when we read about the dietary law. So now verse four go ahead and read. 1:51:51 For every creature of God is good and every creature of God is good. Go ahead and read and nothing to be sweet. Go ahead.

1:51:58 If it be received with thanksgiving. So when people drop the ball, they think that they can take this verse and say, "Well, we can eat anything that he 1:52:05 talking about. Every creature of God is good." But he didn't. Where did he say right here that you can eat it? He didn't say that. He said, "For every 1:52:13 creature of God is good and nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving." So Paul wasn't eating no pork at gunpoint. So he wasn't telling nobody else to go eat no pork, right?

1:52:24 So now let's show you where he sanctified it. We just read verse five. 1:52:28 Go ahead. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1:52:31 For it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer. Not only do you pray before you eat, but when did he sanctified in the in the word of God. In 1:52:39 Leviticus the 11th chapter. Yes. He told you the beast that you should eat and the beast that you should not eat. So pork shouldn't even be coming up in the

1:52:48 equation right here. But now read verse six. Go ahead. If you put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus 1:52:57 Christ. Nourish up in the words of faith and of good doctrine where unto thou hast attained. 1:53:04 Go ahead. 1:53:05 But refuse profane and all wise favorable. Go ahead. And exercise thyself rather unto God. 1:53:10 Don't you understand that? Read your Bibles is like exercise. You You got people they go to the spa, go to the gym, and they work their bodies out and

1:53:20 they sweat. But you got to also exercise your spirit because the more you do bench press with this word of God, the stronger you gonna get on the bench. 1:53:29 Yes, sir. 1:53:30 You got to understand that. He said he said he said, "But refu refuse profane and old wise fables and exercise thyself 1:53:38 rather unto godliness." Verse eight, go ahead. 1:53:41 For bodily exercise profit little, for bodily exercise profited little Go ahead. But godliness is profitable unto

1:53:50 all things, having promised of the life that is that now is, and of that which is to come. Go ahead. This is a faithful 1:53:58 saying, and worthy of all except acceptation. 1:54:02 For therefore, we both labor and suffer reproach because we trust in the living God. That's the reason why we give reproach. 1:54:10 And I said it earlier, people think we crazy because we trust in the living God.

1:54:13 Yes, sir. That's the reason why that's why he said we are pilgrims on the earth. It's like you by yourself because you trust in the Lord. So therefore we 1:54:22 both labor and suffer and suffer reproach because we trust in the living God. Go ahead. Who is the savior of all men? 1:54:30 Who is the savior of all men? Go ahead. 1:54:33 Especially of those that believe these things command and teach. Let no man despise thy you. But be thou an example of the believer.

1:54:44 This what we got to do as men and women of God. So, you know, I'm like I I would like to try to throw myself in the in the in the elders category. Now, this 1:54:51 what you going to get here. He said, "Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers in what?" Go ahead. In word. 1:54:59 In word. Go ahead. In conversation.

1:55:01 In conversation. That conversation is your behavior. Go ahead and read. In charity. 1:55:06 In charity. That's your love. Now, go ahead. In spirit. 1:55:09 Go ahead. in faith and in purity and also in purity. Sisters and brothers, see all of these things is what make you holy. So now verse 13, go ahead. 1:55:18 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine, neglect not the gift that is indeed which was given

1:55:27 thee by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the Presbyterian. 1:55:33 Meditate upon these things. Give thyself holy to them that thy property may appear to all. 1:55:41 Go ahead. 1:55:42 Take heed unto yourself thyself and unto the doctrine. Continue in them. For in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself. 1:55:51 You going to save yourself. Go ahead. And them that hear them. 1:55:54

And you also going to save the people that hear you, sisters and brothers. You gonna save the people that hear you. 1:56:00 Let's go a little further now. Let's go to Psalms. Let's go to Psalms 50. Psalms 50 and we going to pick it up at verse 1:56:07 14. Psalms 50 and we going to pick it up at verse 14. Psalms 50 and we going to 1:56:15

pick it up at verse 14. So hopefully once we get out of this, you will see being holy in a whole different in a whole different way, sisters and 1:56:22 brothers. And that's one thing that God requires of us. He requires for us to be holy people. 1:56:28 So now Psalms 50 and we going to pick it up. We going to pick it up at verse 14.

1:56:34 Psalms 50 and let's pick it up at verse 14. Go ahead and read. Offer unto God thanksgiving. Go ahead. 1:56:41 And pay thy vows unto the most high. 1:56:43 Pay your vows unto the Lord. Now he said, offer unto God thanksgiving and pay thy vows unto the most high. Go ahead and read. 1:56:51 And call upon me in the day of trouble. Go ahead. I will deliver thee. Go ahead. And thou shalt glorify me.

1:56:57 See, so basically what God is saying, he said, call upon me in the day of trouble. He said, "I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." Once you get 1:57:05 saved or delivered from any form of trouble, it's God that got you out of it, sisters and brothers. 1:57:12 Go ahead and read 16. But unto the wicked, God said, "What hast thou to do to declare my statutes,

1:57:20 or that thou should take my covenant in thy mouth?" How you going to take God's covenant in your mouth and you wicked? How you going to even read about the ten commandments 1:57:28 or anything and you wicked? That's what we talk about with the world now. That's why when everybody throw a Bible verse up that's not in the word of God, I 1:57:36 don't always amen because you how you going to offer this up in your mouth and you not fully walking in the covenant.

1:57:42 Now, so now verse 17, I'm going to show you why here in a minute. Verse 17, go ahead. 1:57:47 Seeing thou hatest instruction, seeing thou hatest instructions, go ahead and read. And casteth my word behind thee. Go ahead. 1:57:54 When thou sest a thief, then thou cons consent with him. You considered winning. When you saw a thief, you went right along with him. Go ahead. 1:58:02

And has been partaker with adulterers. 1:58:05 And you have also been partakers with adulterers. Verse 19. Go ahead. Thou givest thy mouth to evil. Go ahead. And thy tongue frame deceives. 1:58:13 That's what people do with their tongue. 1:58:15 But see, we already read what holy people do with their mouth. They edify the people. But the wicked man, he said, "Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy

1:58:24 tongue frame deceit." Verse 20. Go ahead. Thou sitest and speakest against thy brother. 1:58:30 Thou sinest and speakest against thy brother. Go ahead. Thou slanderest thine own mother's son. Go ahead. These things has thou done? 1:58:38 Go ahead. I kept silent. 1:58:39 He didn't say nothing about it. He stays quiet. When you was doing all this foolery, he kept silent about it. But what else happened? Go ahead.

1:58:47 Thou thought that I was all together such as in one as thyself. Go ahead. But I will reprove thee. 1:58:53 In the end, he said, but I will reprove thee. Go ahead. and set them in order before thine eyes. 1:58:58 He going to set them in order right before your wives. When he going to do that at the judgment day, sisters and brothers. 1:59:03 That's when he going to set this right before your wives. Verse 22. Go ahead. Now consider this. Ye that forget God.

1:59:10 Go ahead. I tear you in pieces and there be none to deliver. Go ahead. 1:59:14 Who so offerth praise glorify God. So if you want salvation of God, we 1:59:26 going back. You got to order your conversation right. This your behavior, sisters and brothers. You got to do the right thing by God. So now let's go to 1:59:34 Deuteronomy 20 uh 26. Now we only going to read a couple of verses right here.

1:59:39 Deuteronomy 26. Deuteronomy 26 and we going to pick it up at verse 15. 1:59:45 Deuteronomy 26 and we going to pick it up at verse 15. Be holy, sisters and brothers. 1:59:52 have the faith, have the love, have the charity, but don't forget to be holy right along with it. Do that as well. So 2:00:00 now, Deuteronomy 26, and we going to pick it up at verse 15. Deuteronomy 26

2:00:08 and let's pick it up at verse 15. When you get there, go ahead, Elder. Lay down from thy holy habitation. 2:00:14 He said, "Look down from thy holy habitation." Go ahead. from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, in the land 2:00:23 which thou givest us, hast give given us, as thou swearest unto thy our fathers, a land that flowth with milk 2:00:31 and honey. This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments. Thou shalt therefore keep

2:00:39 and do them which with all thine heart and with all thy soul. 2:00:44 That's how you do it, sisters and brothers. what we've been reading about all today. He said, "You got to keep them with all thine heart and with all thy soul." Verse 17, go ahead. 2:00:54 God has about the Lord this day to be thy God. 2:00:57 That means you said a vow. That means that you have vouched for God. You said that God is going to be my God and I'm going to be his people. Now, he said,

2:01:05 "Thou has a vowed the Lord this day to be thy God." Go ahead. And to walk in his ways. 2:01:11 And to walk in his ways. Go ahead. and to keep his statutes and his commandments and his judgments and to 2:01:17 hearken unto his voice. And the Lord have this day to be his peculiar people. 2:01:24 So he said it right back now. He said, "And the Lord had thee this day to be his peculiar people." Go ahead. as he

2:01:32 hath promised thee, and that thou shalt to keep all his commandments, and to make thee high above all nations, which 2:01:39 have which he hath made in praise, and in name, and in honor, and that thou 2:01:47 mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken. 2:01:52 As he has spoken, sisters and brothers, he want us to be holy. Yes, sir.

2:01:56 So, now let's go to Titus 2. Titus 2. We only got a few more after this. Let's go to Titus 2 now. Titus 2 and we going to 2:02:05 pick it up at verse one. Titus 2 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 2:02:10 Separate yourselves, sisters and brothers. And be ye separate. Be ye holy. For I the Lord your God am holy. That's what the title of this lesson is.

2:02:19 Yes, sir. 2:02:19 Let's go now to Titus. Titus 2. And we gonna pick it up at verse one. Titus 2 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 2:02:29 Let's let's get back to the behavior. Let's go back to being holy people. 2:02:33 Titus 2 and one. Go ahead. But speak down the things which become sound doctrine. That the agemen be sober, 2:02:42 grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. That's what the agemen got to be like.

2:02:48 We got to be sober, grave, temperate. We got to be sound in the faith in charity and in patience toward one another. So now verse three, go ahead. 2:02:56 The aed women likewise. 2:02:58 So now let's talk about the women. He said, "And the aged women likewise." Go ahead and read. 2:03:03 That they be in behavior as becometh holiness. 2:03:05 That they be as in behavior as becometh holiness. This how our women are supposed to be. Now go ahead and read. Not false accusers.

2:03:14 Not false accusers. Go ahead. Not give it to much wine. Go ahead. 2:03:18 Teaches them good things. that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. 2:03:25 That's what the age women teach the younger women. They teach them to be holy. Sisters and brothers, see, even your marriage got to be holy. Your 2:03:33 marriage got to be holy. He said that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. Verse five, go ahead. To

2:03:42 be discreet, just keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands. that the word of God be not blasphemed. 2:03:51 So if you got a woman that's not obedient to her husbands, then that that what what are they doing? What did the book say? That you blaspheing the word of God by doing that. 2:04:00 Yes. 2:04:00 So now what? Now let's get back to the men. Verse six. Go ahead.

2:04:03 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 2:04:06 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. Go ahead. 2:04:09 In all things, showing thyself a pattern of good works in doctrine, showing uncorrupt, gravity, sincerity. Go ahead. 2:04:18 Sound speech that cannot be condemned, that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say 2:04:27 of you. Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please

2:04:34 them well in all do all things, not answering again. Go ahead. 2:04:39 Not prolonging but showing all good fidel fidelity that they may adorn the 2:04:48 doctrine of God our savior in all things. Go ahead. 2:04:52 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation have prepared to all men. Go ahead. 2:04:56 Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present

2:05:06 world in this world. That's why you know we you know all we concerned about when we dead. No he said in this present world we got to act like this. He said 2:05:15 teaching us that denying ungodly and worldly lust we should live soberly righteously and godly in this present world. Verse 13. Go ahead. 2:05:24 Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ.

2:05:31 Go ahead. who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and 2:05:37 purify unto himself a peculiar people of good works. 2:05:42 We've been reading about this peculiar people all lessons, sisters and brothers. That's what God want you to be. So now verse 15, go ahead. 2:05:49 These things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. 2:05:56

Let no man despise thee. And he said, do it with all authority, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir. So now let's go to St. Matthew 7 and6. One thing that we 2:06:04 want to read now because see one thing you got to understand when you out here talking the word of God to people, everybody is not going to accept what you are saying. No. 2:06:14 And you got to learn to pull back. And the Bible going to tell you that cuz he going to tell you right here, my word is holy. And he said he going to tell you something right here. Let's go to St.

2:06:23 Matthew the 7th chapter. St. Matthew 7. 2:06:26 St. Matthew 7. And we going to read one verse right here. St. Matthew 7 and pick it up at verse 6. Say Matthew 7 and 6. 2:06:35 Go ahead. 2:06:35 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs. 2:06:38 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs. What? What are you talking about? 2:06:41 That's the word of God now. Give not that which is holy unto dogs. Go ahead and read.

2:06:47 Neither cast ye your pearls before swine. 2:06:49 Neither cast ye your pearls before swine. Go ahead. Lest they trample them under their feet. Go ahead. 2:06:55 And turn again and ren you. They going to always be trying to find something to find against you to accuse you of something. 2:07:02 That's why you don't give one after one or two admonitions when you correct a brother or sister from that moment really you need to pull back from there.

2:07:10 So now let's go to Colossians 2. 2:07:13 Colossians 2 and we got one more after this. Colossians 2 now and we going to pick it up at verse 16. Colossians 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. 2:07:24 Colossians 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 16. Colossians 2 and we going 2:07:31 to pick it up at verse 16. And we almost out of here. Colossians 2 and 16. So now

2:07:39 keep reading. Go ahead. This going to tie in to what we just read. Go ahead. 2:07:43 Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of in holiness. So now he said, "Let no man 2:07:50 therefore judge you with me or in drink or in respect of a holy day." Go ahead and read. Or of the new moon. 2:07:57 Or of the new moon. We know new moon just means and we know what make the man make make the make the the moon new and

2:08:04 it's not according to what NASA says. So he said, "Let no man therefore judge you with meat or drink or in respect of a 2:08:11 holy day or of the new moon." Go ahead and read. Or of the Sabbath day. 2:08:16 Or of the Sabbath day. Sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. Which are a shadow of things to come. Go ahead. But the body is of Christ.

2:08:23 That's what the Sabbath day is pointing to. To the thousand year millennium period and to the resurrection of God of man. Sisters and brothers. That's what 2:08:32 his feast days are pointing to. So now let's go to the last spot. Let's go to Revelations 22. Revelations 22. And we going to pick it up at verse 11. 2:08:43 Revelations 22. [clears throat] We going to pick it up at verse 11. Revelations 22 and we going to pick it up at verse

2:08:51 11. Revelations 20:29. We normally read this at the start of some of our Sabbath lessons, but I wanted to put this at the 2:08:59 very end. Revelations 22 and let's pick it up at verse 11. Go ahead and read. He that is unjust, go ahead. 2:09:07 Let him be unjust still. 2:09:08 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still. Go ahead. And he which is filthy, go ahead.

2:09:13 Let him be filthy still. Go ahead. And he that is righteous, let him be righteous still. Go ahead. And he that is holy. Let him be holy still. 2:09:21 So don't come to me talking about you being no overrighteous and none of that. 2:09:24 No, we just trying to be holy, sisters and brothers. It's some physical things that God require us to be to be holy.

2:09:31 Now let him be righteous still. And he that is holy, let him be holy still. 2:09:36 Verse 12. Go ahead. And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me to give every man according to according as 2:09:44 his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Go ahead. 2:09:51 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in

2:09:59 through the through the gates into the city. 2:10:01 Go ahead. but without dogs and sorcerers and and murderers and idolattors and whoever loveth and maketh for love. 2:10:10 So you see who ain't going to be they going to be tardy for the party. Now he said for without a dogs and sorcerers and whoreongers and murderers and 2:10:18 idolaters and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Everything that we read about in Leviticus 11, they are not going to be in the kingdom of God.

2:10:26 Sisters and brothers, verse 16, go ahead. I Jesus have sent my angels to testify unto you these things in the 2:10:33 churches. I am the roots and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star and the spirit of and the 2:10:42 bride say come and let him that heareth say come and let him that is the thirst 2:10:48 come and whosoever will let him take the water of life breathe.

2:10:53 Go ahead. For I testify unto every man that hearth the words of the prophecy of this book. If any man shall add unto 2:11:02 these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. 2:11:07 So you hear what the Lord is saying there. Don't add it and don't take away from my words. Now if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto

2:11:16 him the plagues that are written in this book. Verse 19, go ahead. And if any man shall take away from the words of this 2:11:23 book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 2:11:34 Go ahead. He which testified these things, saying, Surely I come quickly.

2:11:40 Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Thou shall not bow down

2:12:52 thyselfves to them or serve them. I the Lord thy God and a jealous God, visiting 2:13:00 the iniquities upon the fathers of the children and to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and 2:13:08 showing mercy to thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. 2:13:14 Thou should not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, for the Lord will not hold them guilt, but takes his name

2:13:20 to God. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 2:13:25 Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. For six days the Lord made

2:13:48 heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day. 2:13:54 Wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and it honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon 2:14:02 the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
