In this Sabbath lesson from Israel Church of the Firstborn in Indianapolis, Brother Obadiah teaches that Jesus Christ is both Lord and Saviour. Everybody wants a Saviour, he says, but few will let Jesus be their Lord, and to make him Lord is to obey him. The lesson shows from the scriptures that the believer who obeys is not only saved in the resurrection at the last trump, but kept, delivered, and saved by the Lord right now while still alive. Every passage is read in the King James Version.

1.My Lord and My God
The lesson begins with Thomas, who would not believe Jesus had risen until he saw the print of the nails for himself. When Jesus appeared, Thomas answered him.
St. John 20:27-29 KJV27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Thomas said, my Lord and my God. Not only are you my God, but you are going to be my Lord too. That means everything that you tell me to do, I am going to do it. That is what you do for a Lord. Everybody wants a savior. You get locked up, Lord save me from this. You catch cancer, Lord save me from this cancer. But you have got to let him be your Lord as well. That means you have to believe, and you have to obey.
Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. That is down to us, two thousand years later. We were not walking around when Jesus died. We did not see him once he was pierced on the cross. But yet we believe, even two thousand years later.
He then turns to Proverbs the thirtieth chapter, on the Father and the Son and the protection the Lord gives to those who trust him.
Proverbs 30:4-5 KJV4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
5Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
What is his name, and what is his son's name? You cannot have the son without the father, and you cannot have a father without the son. These two came together and created the very world you are standing on. Every word of God is pure. He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. A shield protects you. The Lord is going to be your protection.
2.Confess With Thy Mouth and Thou Shalt Be Saved
In Romans the tenth chapter, Paul writes that his heart's desire is that Israel be saved, and then lays out plainly how salvation comes.
Romans 10:9-13 KJV9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. That means right now. How are you going to confess it with your mouth when you are dead? How are you going to believe it in your heart when you are not alive? We are talking about right now. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. There is no difference between the Jew and the Greek.
But calling on the Lord depends on hearing, and hearing depends on being taught.
Romans 10:14-15 KJV14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
How shall they hear without a preacher? You have a generation of people trying to teach themselves the word of God without somebody skilled to teach them. But the Bible said you need a preacher, and he has got to be sent. Just as the Father sent Jesus, so he sends you. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. If you are not reading, you need to be listening. You need to be feeding your spirit at all times.
3.By Grace Are Ye Saved
From Ephesians the first chapter, the lesson shows the believer sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of what is to come.
Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
You were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. Do you know what seal means? It means ownership, security, guarantee, and protection. A seal ensures the contents are genuine and cannot be tampered with. The Holy Spirit dwelling in the believer is the down payment, the guarantee. It is the earnest of our inheritance, and the purchased possession is eternal life.
Then Ephesians the second chapter, on the mercy that saves those who were once dead in their sins.
Ephesians 2:4-9 KJV4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
But God, who is rich in mercy, even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ. By grace are ye saved. Read that one more time. By grace ye are saved, right now. For by grace are ye saved through faith. What saves you is grace and faith. And that not of yourselves. It is a gift. It is a gift for when you follow him.
Romans the fifth chapter shows that the blood which justifies also saves from wrath.
Romans 5:8-10 KJV8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. When you take of the Passover, does that not represent his blood? So if you are dealing with the blood of Jesus, you shall be saved from wrath through him. If when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. That is right now.
And Psalms the hundred and fifteenth chapter shows why salvation matters while a man is still alive.
Psalms 115:16-18 KJV16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
The dead praise not the Lord. You cannot praise the Lord when you are dead. Once you are dead, you are just waiting on the resurrection. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. That is from now until the time you die. So do not tell me I am not saved.
4.The Lord Knoweth How to Deliver the Godly
To show that God saves the righteous in this life, the lesson goes back to Noah, who found grace when the whole earth was corrupt.
Genesis 6:8-9 KJV8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. And by grace are ye saved. Noah was a just man, and Noah walked with God. That is why he found grace when everybody else on the planet was wicked. Noah needs to be an example to all of us. He walked with the Lord.
In Second Peter the second chapter, Noah and Lot are given as proof that the Lord knows how to deliver his own.
2 Peter 2:5-9 KJV5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
God spared not the old world, but saved Noah, the eighth person. And he delivered just Lot, and destroyed everybody else. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations. That means I know how to save you from being tempted. I am saving you from temptation, right now. And to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
In Ezekiel the ninth chapter, the Lord marks and spares those who mourn the sin around them, even as he destroys the city.
Ezekiel 9:4-6 KJV4And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
5And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
The Lord said, set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and cry for all the abominations that are done in the city. I am going to destroy the city, but I am going to save these guys. Come not near any man upon whom is the mark. And begin at my sanctuary. He started with the church people, the people that said they believed in God. When you think about being saved, think about it with a broad mind.
And in Matthew the fourteenth chapter, when Peter began to sink in the sea, the Lord saved him the moment he cried out.
St. Matthew 14:30-33 KJV30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
When Peter saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid and began to sink, and he cried, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him. If that wind was out there boisterous and the Lord was not there to save him, Peter would have died. But who saved him? The Lord saved him, as soon as he asked for it.
5.You Have to Believe First
In Matthew the sixteenth chapter, Jesus asks the disciples who they say he is, and only the Father can reveal the answer.
St. Matthew 16:15-17 KJV15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Whom say ye that I am? Simon Peter said, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus said, flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. You have got to know that Jesus is your Lord and your Savior, and the only one who can reveal that to you is the Father.
The woman of Canaan in Matthew the fifteenth chapter shows that deliverance comes to those who believe, whatever nation they are from.
St. Matthew 15:26-28 KJV26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
The woman of Canaan said, Lord, help me. And he said, it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs. Deliverance is the children's bread. That is how you get delivered. You cannot cast devils out of somebody who does not even believe that he is Jesus. But she said, truth, Lord, yet the dogs eat of the crumbs. And he said, O woman, great is thy faith, and her daughter was made whole from that very hour. You have got to believe it first.
The high priest in John the eleventh chapter, without knowing it, prophesied that Jesus would die not for one nation only, but to gather all the children of God.
St. John 11:51-52 KJV51And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
52And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
He prophesied that Jesus was going to die for that nation. And not for that nation only. This is why the woman of Canaan got saved. All the children of God, all you have to do is believe on him. It is not Jew nor Greek. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
And in Mark the sixth chapter, even Jesus could do no mighty work in his own country, because the people would not believe.
St. Mark 6:5-6 KJV5And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
6And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
In his own country he could do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands on a few sick folks, because of their unbelief. You can do that too. If you do not believe you are supposed to keep the Sabbath, but you pollute it every now and then and still call yourself a believer, he is not going to do those mighty works for you either. You can block your own blessing by not obeying your Lord and Savior.
6.Hold Fast Till I Come
In Hebrews the tenth chapter, the believer is warned to hold his confidence to the end and not draw back.
Hebrews 10:38-39 KJV38Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Now the just shall live by faith. But if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. You can draw back unto perdition, but you do not want to be among those people. You do not want to lose the grace you have worked so hard for. We are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. That is talking about right now.
7.The End Result: A Spiritual Body
Finally the lesson turns to the reward that comes at the resurrection. First Corinthians the fifteenth chapter sets the order of it.
1 Corinthians 15:20-22 KJV20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order. Christ rises first, then those that have died rise, and those that are alive at the coming of Christ get the spiritual change while they are alive.
Then the change itself, in a moment, at the last trump.
1 Corinthians 15:51-54 KJV51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Then shall be brought to pass the saying, death is swallowed up in victory. The last thing to be destroyed is death.
Revelation the second chapter promises the overcomer power and the morning star.
Revelation 2:26-28 KJV26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28And I will give him the morning star.
He that overcometh and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations. And I will give him the morning star. What do you think the morning star is? That is his divine presence, and you are going to have it too. You will not be flesh and blood anymore.
Second Corinthians the third chapter shows the believer already being changed from glory to glory.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 KJV17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Now the Lord is that spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. We all, with open face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image, from glory to glory. And that is why you are alive. You are going to go from glory to glory, even by the spirit of the Lord.
And Isaiah the twenty-fifth chapter, where Paul drew the promise that death would be swallowed up, ends with the Lord himself saving his people.
Isaiah 25:7-9 KJV7And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
8He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
He will destroy the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory. And it shall be said in that day, lo, this is our God, we have waited for him, and he will save us. That is what you have a savior for. A savior brings salvation.
Closing Word
1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. I hope you got some understanding in Jesus Christ.
Brother Obadiah closed by teaching that Jesus is both Lord and Saviour, and that the believer who obeys him is not only saved in the resurrection at the last trump, but kept, delivered, and saved by him right now while still alive. From the confession of the mouth to the spiritual body to come, all of it rests on believing that he is the Christ.

Y'all we going to proceed with our script. Don't it feel good to hook up together and brother. That's what it's all about man. You know we going we going to talk about the believers today and those that truly believe in the Lord. It's a beautiful thing to be around family on the Lord's Sabbath day.
So, let's go to Leviticus the 23rd chapter. We gonna proceed with our Sabbath script. Let's go to Leviticus 23 and we going to read verses 1 through3. Leviticus 23 and we going to read verses 1 through3. We going to read about what the Lord said now.
Because see, one thing we know Moses was the prophet and the lawgiver to all generations, sisters and brothers. But one thing we got to understand that Moses took instructions. And the instructions that Moses took, he got them straight from the Lord, sisters and brothers. As a matter of fact, he even saw the glory of the Lord. So we know that everything that Moses wrote is valid, sisters and brothers.
So let's go to Leviticus 23 and we going to read verses 1-3. Leviticus 23 and we going to read verses 1 through three. When you get there, young line, go ahead and read. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, "Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them concerning the feast of the Lord, which you shall proclaimed to be holy convocation, even these are my feast." So now he says, "Speak unto the children of Israel now concerning the feast of the Lord." So we say all the time, we know that God got seven annual feast days, but he also listed the weekly Sabbath in these holy convocations in these feasts. So now read that verse three.
Go ahead and read. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest. The seventh day is a Sabbath of rest. Take a day off. Take a day off from the from your job.
Take a day off from your everyday thinking. Leave all your burdens behind. That's what this day represents. Now, so he says, "Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest." What else is it? Go ahead and read.
And holy convocation. A holy convocation. Whether you got a thousand people or whether you got 10 people, it don't matter. That's a holy convocation, which means a holy gathering. So now keep reading.
Go ahead. You shall do no work therein. It is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. In all of your dwelling, sisters and brothers, and let's show you that did nothing change in the New Testament. Let's go to St.
Luke the 4th chapter. St. Luke 4. And we going to pick it up at verse 14. Because see, we going to talk about Jesus today.
We going to talk about vintage Jesus. So if you gonna do what Jesus did, you and and that is to be Christlike. Let's show you what the Lord did. Sisters and brothers, when you put everything aside, you got to follow what Jesus said and you also got to follow what Jesus did. So let's go to St.
Luke the 4th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse 14. St. Luke 4 and we going to pick it up at verse 14. When you get there, go ahead and read. And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee.
And there went out a fame of him through all the region round about and he taught in their synagogues being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up and as his custom was. So notice how this is worded, sisters and brothers. And he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up. And notice what the book said now.
He said it as his custom was. Custom is his way of life. Custom is how we live. Custom is how we got down. So what else was it?
Go ahead. He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Go ahead. And stood up for Teresa. That's the reason why Mama Linda said, "I don't sit so I can sit down cuz my leg is bad." But see, Jesus stood up.
So that's why I'mma do what Jesus did. Now he said he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up for read. That means he wasn't going in on the first day of the week to teach something that's not in the Bible. He did it on the seventh day. sisters and brothers.
So, I want to praise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and peace to everyone here in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I want to say happy Sabbath to my Indianapolis family. It's always an honor to stand before my family on the Lord's day. And also, elders in Cincinnati, we know that you watching right now as well. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you.
And also those that's watching us in Connecticut, Brother Todd and your family. We also want to say we want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. And also in Arkansas, we know we got brother Carl Alba. You know, we'll be talking a little bit later. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you as well.
And also those that's watching in Mississippi, uh, Sister Mari and our and our beloved elder, we know you watching. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you as well. And we are glad to have you with us. And also those that's watching us via live Facebook and YouTube live. We also want to say happy Sabbath to you.
and we are glad to have you with us on the Lord's Sabbath day. And also, as usual, sisters and brothers, let's give the brother Ren sisterhood a [applause] round of applause. Man, don't take these Sabbaths, don't take these Sabbaths to where, okay, we just back up on the Sabbath. You made it another week. And I understand if you had a week like I had, it wasn't always that easy.
Now, so we also when we send these scripts out, we want to make sure that everybody is reading those scripts because these those scripts are going to give you power. So don't just amen read those scripts and apply those scripts to your everyday life. So we we want to get right into the lesson today, sisters and brothers. And as I do this lesson today, I want to ask everybody that's in this room and also everybody that's listening online, we want you to listen to this lesson with an open mind. We want to give you and let you put your thinking caps on today because we going to talk about a very important lesson today.
For one, we going to talk about Jesus and that's most important enough. But what we going to talk about, sisters and brothers, is Jesus being our Lord and our Savior. Amen. Now, I know and I want to teach this lesson because I want to I want you to get some understanding of what a savior really is and what a savior truly does. A savior saves, sisters and brothers.
That's what a savior does. But see, one thing about having a savior, see, everybody want a savior. Everybody looking for a savior. You get your behind in a pinch, the first thing that you want to do, you want to call for a savior. And that is beautiful that you do that.
But see the problem lies is is don't nobody want Jesus to be their Lord. Because see if Jesus going to be your Lord then you going to do everything what your Lord tell you to do because he is your Lord. So when Jesus is your Lord you have to not only reverence him you also have to obey him and do everything that he commands you to do. And if you can do those things then I'm going to be your savior. And one thing that I want to point out because we know we know what they say in the Sunday church where they say well once you save you always save.
That's not necessarily the case sisters and brothers. That's not the case. But see we not talking about them people today. I'm going to do a lesson to give the people that are truly seeking the word of God. We got to have some hope and we got to have some strength because see everybody ain't falling off.
And if you are doing what does say the Lord, not only are you gonna get the spiritual body in the end, that's the end result. That's going to be after you die. But we also want to show you that you can be saved now by the Lord. We going to show you instances where God saved people right here. But they got to be believers now.
So this is a lesson for the believers. This is also a lesson for people who have been walking in this walk for a long time because you got to have some hope. You can't only just hope when you die because while you alive, God is going to be with you. God is going to be your protection. God is going to be your shield.
And we going to show you these things in this lesson today. So the title of the lesson is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Your Lord means that you got to obey him and then he is also your savior. So once you are obeying him, he is going to save you while you are alive right now.
And we going to show you that in the scriptures, sisters and brothers. But now let's go to St. John the 20th chapter. St. John 20.
And we going to pick it up at verse 19. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You know, I put this in our brotherhood text every time our beloved Elder David sent it out. So I want to show you what this actually means, sisters and brothers. And you gonna get an earful today.
So open your minds, get your p your pencil and your paper ready and take notes because this applies to the people that are truly living the word of God. So now cuz sometimes you get tired of talking to the weak-hearted. Sometimes you get tired of tearing people down that don't want to follow God all the time. Sometimes the people that's actually walking, they need some encouragement, sisters and brothers. Yes, sir.
So let's go to second chapter and we pick it up at verse 19. St. John the 20th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse 19 and this was after Mary Magdalene had came to Jesus after he had rose from the grave now but we going to pick it up at verse 19. So now uh St. John 20 and verse 19 when you get there young line go ahead and read then the same day at evening being the first day of the week when the doors were shut when the disciples were assembled for the fear of the Jews.
So now they were scared of the Jews now because see they didn't want nothing to be brought out about Jesus at all. Now so upon the first day of the week they had the door shut now because they were afraid of the persecution of the Jews. But now keep reading. Go ahead. Came Jesus and stood in the midst.
Go ahead. And said unto them, peace be unto you. So now you see what what form that Jesus is in. Now Jesus is a spirit being at this time. So at this time the doors were shut and Jesus just popped up in the midst of him.
And what did he say unto him? He said, "Peace be unto you." So now verse 20, go ahead. And when he had said so, and when he had so said, he showed unto his show unto them his hands and his side. Go ahead. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord?
Then were they glad when they saw the Lord? Now, so we covered that not too long ago when he showed them his hands and his size because we know that they pierced his hands now. But they also pierced his side. And once they pierced his side, therefore with came out blood and water. And that was going to show you that Jesus was the Christ or the Messiah even thousand years later.
And we going to show you that. Verse 21. Go ahead. Then said Jesus to them again. Go ahead.
Peace be unto you. As my father has sent me. Go ahead. Even so send you. So I'm y'all getting ready to go to work now.
So now he said peace be unto you. He said as my father has sent me. And we know that the father had sent Jesus to die for the sins of the people. He sent Jesus to save the world and to save those that believe into him that that believe in him. But then he said, even so I send you.
So now verse 22, go ahead. And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said unto them, go ahead, receive ye the Holy Ghost. He said he breathed on them, sisters and brothers. That's the power of the Lord. He breathed on them and then he said, receive ye the Holy Ghost.
So now he going to give these disciples power. Verse 23, go ahead. Whosoever sins you remit. He said, "Whosoever sins you remit," go ahead and read. They are remitted unto them.
Go ahead. And whosoever sins you retain, go ahead. They are retained. He says, "So whosoever offend you, they sins are going to be retained, sisters and brothers. So if you go read about when Peter has stepped up in Acts the 5th chapter, when they lied to the Holy Ghost about the money, not only did the husband die, but the wife died behind them.
That means they sins they had retained, sisters and brothers. And whosoever sins was forgiven, he gave them that power as well. But now it was somebody that was not there when Jesus had showed up the first time. Verse 24, go ahead. But Thomas, one of the 12 called was not with them when Jesus came.
Go ahead. The other disciples therefore said unto him, "We have seen the Lord." He said, "We have seen the Lord now." And we know that other disciple that's the one that wrote this book. that was the one that cried on Jesus' shoulder and that was also that disciple that Jesus had loved. So out of all other disciples, he loved them all. But John was the one that was the closest to him.
But now keep reading. Go ahead. But he said unto them, "Except I shall see his hands and the print of the nails and put my finger into the print of the nails and press my hands into his side." Go ahead. I will not believe. So he said, "Hey, you got to show me this now." He said, "Till I see his hands and until I see the print of his nails." So I understand what y'all saw.
And you got to understand, ain't nothing wrong with what he's saying. But he wanted to be sure that this person that they saw was none other than God. Now, but he said unto them, "Except I see in his hands the print of his nails, and put my fingers into the print of his nails, and thrust my hand into his eyes, he said, I will not believe." But now verse 26, go ahead. And after eight days again his disciples were with them and Thomas with them. Then came Jesus the doors being shut and stood he missed and said peace be unto you.
Go ahead. Then said he to Thomas. So he went right on to him. Now so once he greeted them again he walked straight to Thomas because he loved Thomas and he believed in Thomas and he didn't want Thomas to lose no faith. So soon as he stepped in he said peace be unto you.
Then he said to Thomas and what what did he say? Go ahead. Reach into thy finger and behold my hand. Go ahead. And reach into thy hand and thrust it into my side.
Go ahead. And be not faithless, but believe. But you see what he told him, sisters and brothers, he come because see Jesus wasn't even there when Thomas had made this statement. But see, he was God at that time. So he said, "Reach in thy fing and thrust it into my side and be not faithless but believing." now because see that is the the main key that you got to have to follow Jesus is you got to have you got to believe in him [clears throat] and you got to have faith in them because if you don't have no faith in them then it ain't no need for you to believe at all because your faith is made void and we going to show you that a little bit later but now verse 28 go ahead and Thomas answered and said unto him go ahead my Lord and my God once he said that he said my Lord and my God not only are you my God but you going to be my Lord too that means I'm going to obey you.
That everything that you tell me to do, I'm going to do it. See, that's what you do for a Lord. It's like what I said earlier. Everybody want a savior. You get locked up in jail.
Lord, save me from this. You catch cancer. You say, "Lord, save me from this cancer." But you got to let him be your Lord as well. That means that you got to believe and that means that you've got to obey. So now notice what Jesus said at verse 29.
Go ahead. Jesus said unto him, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou has believed." He said, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me," he said, "Thou has believed." But now Jesus is going to speak into the future right here. What did he say? Go ahead. Blessed are they that have not seen.
Go ahead. And yet have believed. See, that's down to us, sisters, brothers. That's down to 2,000 years later. See, we was not walking around when Jesus had died.
We didn't see him once he was pierced on the cross. But yet, we did not see him. But yet we believe even 2,000 years later. So now what else happened? Verse 30.
Go ahead. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples. Go ahead. Which are not written in this book. So everything that Jesus did was not even recorded.
That's how many miracles that he did. All of the people that he healed, we seen only a few of them. We didn't see everything that Jesus did. So now verse 31, go ahead. But these are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and that believing you might have life through his name.
And and he said also with that believing you might have life even through his name. That's life now. But we know that's also talking about eternal life as well, which we going to get to that at the end of the lesson. So now let's go to Proverbs the 30th chapter now. Proverbs 30.
You got to let him be your Lord, sisters and brothers. He got to be Lord over you. You know, you got the you got the so-called Edomite uh that's out here right now, the so-called you. He want to make you think that Lord means Ba in Hebrew. It don't mean that.
Lord just means that you going to obey him. He's going to be your Lord and your Savior. And we going to show you that in this lesson. So don't let don't let the mystery schools try to take you away from what Jesus had truly taught because the whole world hate Jesus and they do not want you to believe in Jesus neither to believe in the name of Jesus. So now let's go to Proverbs the 30th chapter now.
Proverbs 30 and we going to pick it up at verse four. Let's show you the power of the Lord. Proverbs 30 and4. Go ahead and read. who have ascended up into heaven or descended.
And it was only one person that did that, sisters and brothers, because see, ain't nobody else did that. And that was none other than the son. And the Bible going to tell you that. He said, "Who had ascended up into heaven or descended?" Go ahead and read. Who have gathered the wind in his fist?
Go ahead. Who have bound the waters in a garment? If you go read off in Job the 38th chapter, it would tell you that it was none other than God. There was the only one that bounded up the wind in his fist and bound the waters in a garment, sisters and brothers, that they cannot pass hither while God tell him to go. See, only the Lord can do that.
Go ahead and read. Who have established all the ends of the earth? Go ahead. What is his name? Go ahead.
And what is his son's name? Go ahead. If thou can tell. So he said, "What is his name? And what is his son's name?
If thou can't tell, sisters and brothers." So we talking about the father and the son. You can't have the son without the father. And you cannot have a father without the son. You can't get to either one of these guys because they special. These guys came together and created the very world that you standing on right now.
So that means that this guy got a name, right? So what else did he say about verse five? Go ahead and read. Every word of God is pure. Every word of God is pure.
And what else is he? Go ahead. He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. So now what does a shield do? A shield protects you, sisters and brothers.
The Lord gonna be your protection. So when people say, "Man, you gota you got to be dead to be saved." We g we going to see if that's going to be the case before you get out of this book. What do you think a shield does? He said, "Every word of God is pure. He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him." But now, what else did he say?
Go ahead and read. As thou not unto his words. Don't add to his words. Don't try to add nothing in that don't fit. If it ain't off in the book from Genesis to Revelation, what can you add to it?
You ain't got nothing to add to it. The only thing that you got to do is obey him now. So he said, "Add not thou unto his words." Go ahead and read. Lebue and thou be found alive. Go ahead and read.
Some things have I require of thee. Now, now let's pay attention to this because I was talking to a brother at work the other day. And one thing about Israel, Israel always crying over money, crying over things that they don't have, but they do not seek the Lord. You will go work on a Sabbath day in a minute if they [clears throat] tell you to work on it. But you always crying about what you don't have.
But now notice, you got to learn to be content with whatever state you are in. So he said two things if I require of Go ahead and read. Then I leave them not before I die. Go ahead. Remove far from me vanity and lies.
Have you ever asked the Lord to do that, he'll do it. He said, Remove from me vanity and lies. Take the take away the lying tongue out of my mouth. Don't even lie a little bit. Don't lie at all.
He said remove far from me vanity and lies. Go ahead and read. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Go ahead. Feed me with food convenient for me.
He said feed me with food convenient for me. Go ahead and read. Lest I be full and deny thee and say who is the Lord. See then you'll forget about him. See that's why I say that's why I was saying don't nobody want him to be your Lord.
Because see once God bless you and give you a little money, he put something in your pocket and then your life get a little bit easy. You forget about who gave it to you. You forget about the Lord. You would say, "Who is the Lord?" Go and read. Well, at least I be poor and steal and take the name of my God in vain.
And then take the name of my God in vain. That's why you don't want either or. I don't want to be rich and I don't want to be poor. I don't want to be suffering. But you want God to give you everything that you need that's convenient for you.
He might give somebody else more. That's okay with that. Don't worry about that because whatever God gives you, that's yours and yours only. And it's the Lord that gave it to you, sir. That's right.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior. So now, let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to Romans the 10th chapter. Let's go to Romans 10. Romans 10.
And we going to pick it up at verse verse one. See, like I say, you know, we we understand one thing. You can lose you can lose all of the things that God give to you if you go if you draw back into predition. But what if you don't what what about those that believe all the way to the end like Jesus, like Moses, like Aaron did. People that actually believed until they died, sisters and brothers, then they got the big reward in the end, which we going to read about that a little later.
But now, let's go to Romans the 10th chapter, though. Romans 10. Romans 10 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. Romans 10 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. Romans 10 and one.
Let's talk a little bit about Israel because we already know in the end the Lord gonna save Israel. Now, so now uh uh uh uh uh Romans 10 and verse one. Go ahead, brethren. My heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved. That they might be saved.
Because the other day I was leaving to go pick my wife up from the airport. So, you know, I left my light on so I had to recharge my car. So, I was over on I think it was uh 30th in Martin Luther King over by where the uh by the Marathon and the gas station and I they had a whole bunch of Israelites. They was all just sitting outside. It was real hot sitting under the under under the tree and you could smell the crack that they were smelling that they was that they were smoking in the air.
You could smell it. You can smell it from a mile away. And then when I see that, I look at my people and I be like, "Lord, save our people. Save our people from this destruction that they doing to their bodies, that they doing to their minds out here. You can smell it." And it had a whole But see, this is the thing though.
This was the thing that really got me about my people. Out of all of those people that was out there, they had a little child. And every prostitute that was out there, it must been somebody baby. They all took care of that baby and held it all at the same time. that let us know that we got we we can be saved but our people are lost sisters and brothers they lost but even though they were going through what they was going through well they didn't let that baby fall to the ground one time they made sure they didn't had water and everything so we pray that the Lord bring out people from that now so he he said brethren my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved so now verse two go ahead for I bear them record that they have a zeal of Go ahead.
But not according to knowledge. See, they see they ignorant. They ignorant of the law of God. And ignorant is not a bad word, sisters and brothers. They just don't have the knowledge that they should have about God.
And we got a lot of people in the world like that. Everybody ain't kicking. He said, "For I them record that they have a zeal of God." Now, they got a zeal for them. They'll pray in a minute, but they don't have no knowledge when it comes to the Lord. So now verse three, go ahead.
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness have not submitted themselves into the righteousness of God. And we going to talk a little bit about this later. You got to submit. That's what make him your Lord. You got to submit unto him.
You got to submit to God and and submit to his will. You got to submit to that, sisters and brothers. Verse four. Go ahead. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.
Go ahead. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that the man which doeth these things shall live by them. Go ahead. But the righteousness which is of speaketh on this wise, say not in thy heart, who shall ascend into heaven? That is to bring Christ down from above.
So now he said he said he said he said the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise. He said say not in thine heart who shall ascend into heaven. Go ahead and read. That is to bring Christ down from above. So you can't go up there and bring them down from above.
So you don't have to do that, sisters and brothers. See, sometimes you got to lower your standards. You got to lower your standards and stop trying to be so overly righteous and just let the Lord deal with you. So you ain't got to go all the way up to heaven to try to feel that you going to bring Christ back. So now keep reading.
Go ahead. Or who shall descend into the deep? Go ahead. That is to bring up Christ again from the dead. And you ain't got to go down into the ground to bring up Christ up from the dead.
Now verse eight, go ahead. But what sayeth it? He said, "But what say it?" Go ahead. The word is not thee. Go ahead.
Even in thy mouth. Go ahead. And thy heart. That is the word of faith which we preach. So you see what he's saying, sisters and brothers.
The word of God is not you. It's not you all the time. We understand that Satan is ruling the nations, but the word of God is near you all the time. But you got to pick your book up and read it. the book ain't gonna open itself up.
You got to sit down and take some valuable time to try to feed yourself the word of God every day at some point. You can't just sit down and watch TV all day. He said, "But what said that?" Now, the word is not thee even in thy mouth and in thy heart. So when the word is in your mouth and in your heart, that is the word of faith which we preach. So now pay very close attention to what he going to say in verse nine.
Go ahead and read. that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, he said, if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, go ahead, the Lord Jesus of thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead. Go ahead. Thou shalt be thou shalt be saved. That means right now, sisters and brothers, you ain't got to be dead to do this.
How you going to confess it with your mouth when you dead? How you going to believe it in your heart when you ain't alive? We talking about right now, sisters and brothers. We talking about right now. He said, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, sisters and brothers." And this is why, verse 10, go ahead.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness. Go ahead. And with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. That's how you get salvation is with your mouth.
Go ahead and read. For the scripture said, "Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. But there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. For the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. All you got to do is call on him, sisters and brothers.
We understand that you got to read the stipulations. We understand that you got to call on the name of the Lord, but you also got to obey the Lord. Sisters and brothers, what if you do? What if you doing that right now? Think about what I'm telling you.
So now, keep reading. Go ahead. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Well, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Sisters and brothers, does anybody in this room got any plans on stopping?
Keep reading. Go ahead. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? We going to touch on this a little bit later. He said, "How then shall they call on him and whom they have not believed?" Go ahead.
And how sh how shall they believe in him or whom they have not heard? Go ahead. And how shall they hear without a preacher? How shall they hear without a preacher? You know preachers get a bad reputation nowadays because of false preachers is out here.
Why you think pe people go and look for people to preach on them on YouTube now? Don't nobody want to come to church no more. So you want to know why churches are small? It's because don't nobody believe no more. You got a generation of people that's trying to teach themselves the word of God without having somebody that's skilled to teach them the word of God.
Well, I don't need no preacher. But that's not what the Bible said. That's right. The Bible said you need a preacher. He said, "How can they hear without a preacher?" Go ahead and read.
And how shall they preach? Go ahead. Except they be sent. And we just read that, sisters and brothers. Jesus said, "Just as the father send me." He said, "So send you." So you got to be sent, sisters and brothers.
Go ahead and read. As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things. But they have not all obeyed the gospel. They have not obeyed the gospel. When we understand that they have not all obeyed the gospel, go ahead.
For Isaiah said, "Lord, who have believed our report?" Go ahead. So then faith cometh by hearing. That's how you get faith. You got to hear it, sisters and brothers. You got to hear the word of God.
If you're not reading, you need to be listening to a lesson or listening to the Bible. You need to be feeding your spirit at all times. Now, go ahead and read. And hearing by the word of God. And hearing by the word of God.
That's what you got to hear because once you start hearing it, then it's going to put it in your spirit to obey the Lord, sisters and brothers. So now, let's go to Ephesians 1. Now, Ephesians 1. Ephesians 1, we talking about being saved right now, man. Listen here.
Life hard enough. I can't just wait till I die to worry about it. I understand that when I die in this thing, that's going to be the ultimate reward, sisters, and brother. That's the ultimate war uh uh reward. But I'm going to save you now.
I'll save you right now. And we g we gonna show you that. Let's go now to Ephesians 1. Ephesians 1 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. Ephesians 1 and we gonna pick it up at verse one.
Just listen to this lesson with an open mind. So now Ephesians 1 and one. Go ahead young line. Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God to the saints which are at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus. Grace be to you and peace from God our father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Go ahead. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who have blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. So now what is this? What is this verse three telling you that you blessed right now with spiritual blessings. So now he said blessed be the be God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who have blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
Verse four. Go ahead. according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. Go ahead. That we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
So now what if what if you do this sisters and brothers? He said accord as he had chosen us from the foundation of the world. Jesus knew every soul that was going to be born from the time that they created man until the time he sat on the throne. Yes sir. So now he already had chosen you before the foundations of the world.
So there is no reason that every man, woman, and child that's sitting in this room right here, you are not here by accident. That's right. You here because the Lord chose you to be here, sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read verse five. Having predestinated us to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself.
So what? So if you ain't saved then why you calling yourself the having predestin that means that means right now predestined predestined now us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ himself. Go ahead and read according to the good pleasure of his will to the praise of the glory of his grace wherein he hath made us accepted and in the beloved. So we going to talk about grace. We going to talk a lot about grace.
Of course you can lo lose your grace but what if you don't? What if you striving until the end? Because we going, we said to the praise of the glory of his grace. Now, wherein he had made us accepted in the beloved. So now, go ahead and read.
And whom we have redemption through his blood. Go ahead. The forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace. So now, so what is so what? How did you get redeemed?
You got redeemed through his blood, sisters and brothers. And whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace. Verse eight. Go ahead. Wherein he have abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure, which he hath purposed in himself.
Go ahead. That in that in disposition of fullness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in him. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance. in whom also. So notice what he's saying now because we get getting ready to read some.
He said, "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance." Now that means you have obtained it. Now go ahead and read. Being predestinated according to the purpose of him who workketh all things after the counsel of his own will that we should that we should be to the praise of his glory. Who first trusted in Christ. Go ahead.
In whom he are in whom ye also trust. So pay attention now. He said, "In whom ye also trusted." Go ahead. After that ye have at after that ye heard the word of truth. After you have heard the word of truth.
So we just talked about you hearing the word of God. Now he said after that you have heard the word of truth. Go ahead and read the gospel of your salvation. The gospel of your salvation. Go ahead.
And whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the with that Holy Spirit of Christ. So what you mean you ain't saved now? What are you talking about? What is this telling you right here? He said, "In whom you also trusted after that you have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your in whom also after that you have believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of promise." Do you know what seal means?
It seals means save, ownership, security, and guarantee and protection. A seal ensures that contents were genuine and could not be tampered with. The Holy Spirit dwelling in believers acts as an unbreakable down payment or guarantee of eternal life and first re and final redemption. That's what seal means sisters and brothers. That's what you that's what it mean when he say you are sealed with the Holy Spirit.
So if you sealed with the Holy Spirit and if you continue to walk the way that the Lord walked and you got redemption through his blood, I'mma save you right now. I'mma save you right now. So now keep reading. Go ahead. which is the earnest of our inheritance.
which is the earnest of our inheritance. That That's the down payment. Now, which is the earnest of our inheritance. Go ahead. Until the redemption of the the purchased possession.
Until the redemption of the purpose possession. Now, go ahead. Until the unto the praise of his glory. Unto the praise of his glory. What you think the purpose possession is?
That's eternal life. See, that's what you going to get in the end for walking right with the Lord right now. So now let's go right on to Ephesians 2 and let's show you what save you. We going to let the book speak. Now these are for the people that's walking.
We know people can fall off, but we doing this lesson for people who ain't going to fall off. The people that's going the people that need a little bit hope because it said by hope we are saved. And we going to read that a little bit later. So now Ephesians 2, Ephesians 2, and we going to pick it up at verse one. Ephesians 2 and one.
Go ahead and read. And you had he quickened who were dead in trespass and sin. And you had he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sin. Go ahead. Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air.
Go ahead. The spirit that now workth for the children of disobedience. So all these children out here that's being disobedient to the word of God, they walking by the course of the prince of the power of the air. And we know the prince of the power of the air is none other than Satan. now.
But don't forget, you walked in that too. You walked in those same things. So that let [laughter] that that let you know not to criticize anybody else. You want to give them hope. Now they said in verse two, "Wherein in times past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now workketh in the children of disobedience." So now keep reading.
Go ahead. among whom also we all had our conversations in time past in the lust of our flesh. We all remember when we was in the lust of our flesh. We all remember that. Go ahead and read.
Fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind. Go ahead. And were by nature the children of wrath. Go ahead. Even even as others, even as others, sisters and brothers.
But now, but what is God? Go ahead. But God who was rich in mercy, for his great love werewith, he loved us. And that's what he is. Even though that we walk contrary to him, once we stop following Satan and we allow Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, then he had mercy toward us, sisters and brothers, to redeem us from the things that we did in the past.
Keep reading. Go ahead. Even when we were dead in sins, he said, even when we were dead in sins, go ahead. Have quickened us together with Christ. Go ahead.
By grace you are saved. Wait a minute. Read that one more time. What you say by? By grace ye are saved.
By grace you are saved, sisters and brothers right now. Don't you got grace? So if you don't believe that you got grace, then you need to wake up and read this book a little bit more. He said, "For by grace you are saved." That's right now. Keep reading.
Go ahead. And have raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Go ahead. That in the ages to come, he might show the exceeding riches of his grace and his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Go ahead.
For by grace are you saved. He said, "For by grace you are saved through faith." So that's what saves you. What saves you is grace and faith, sisters and brothers. That's right. Now you alive.
You ain't dead. He said, "For by grace are ye saved through faith." Go ahead and read. And that not of yourself. Go ahead. It is a gift of God.
It's a gift. It's a gift. It's a gift for when you follow him. So now that's why I say we got to Hey, man. This this world hard enough.
We need some encouragement in this world. We got to be encouraged now. If I got to wait all the way till I die, we going to read later. Then we all men most miserable sisters and brothers. All of us.
We see what's going on out here. You got babies that's being born and you got babies dying right now. You got people, like I said, when I seen all the people over there smoking crack on the side of the building. You don't think that hurt me? You don't think that hurt me?
When I seen this young man just this morning with some pants so tight on, I thought I seen his blood vessels through his legs. and he was a sodomite. That type of stuff hurts, sisters and brothers. But now we going show you. Let's go a little bit.
Is that it? Okay. Let's go now to Psalms 115. Psalms 115. And we going to pick it up at verse one.
You know, we all know what's going to happen in the end. See, the difference is this. You going to get a lot and pause right is going to tell you about being saved. Now, when you get the Revelations, Revelations going to talk about the spiritual body. And we going to show you that.
But let's go to Psalms 115 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. Psalms 115 and we gonna pick it up at verse one. Psalms 15 or one. I mean, I done read this long enough. He said, "Neither depth nor nor height nor nor banishment nor anything should separate us from the love of Christ.
Nothing, listen, brothers, nothing should separate you from it." So now, Psalms 115 and one, go ahead. Not unto us, O Lord. Not unto us. Go ahead. But unto thy name give glory for thy mercy and for thy truth sake.
You know, not unto us, oh Lord, but unto not unto us, but unto thy name give glory for thy mercy and for thy truth sake. See, we got to decrease while he increase. We worrying about being popular and famous and how many people attend in our classes when we don't really have to worry about that. You better be worried about that seat that you sitting on right now that's really hot because that's gonna be the only one that's gonna stand before us. So we got to decrease and we got to let Jesus increase in the last days.
Verse two, go ahead. Wherefore should the heathen say? Go ahead. Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens.
He have done whatsoever he had pleased. Go ahead. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not. Eyes have they, but they see not.
Go ahead. They have ears, but they hear not. Noses have they, but they smell not. They have hands, but they handle not. Feet have they, but they walk not.
Go ahead. Neither speak they through their throat. They ain't saying nothing. They just standing up there like a statue. They probably make the statue and you sit down bowing to it.
But see, God going to do all that. God touch you. God speak to you through his word. God handles you. God does everything so your steps don't slip.
That's what Jesus does. But see, we got these idols of silver and gold that everybody want to sit out and they want to worship and it ain't doing nothing for them, sisters and brothers. But now keep reading. Go ahead. Verse eight.
They that make them are like unto them. So is everyone that trusteth in them. Oh Israel, trust th out in the Lord. Go ahead. He is their help and their shield.
So we already read that. He said, "Oh Israel, trust thou in the Lord. He is their help and their shield. Go ahead and read. Oh house of Aaron, go ahead.
Trust in the Lord. He is their help and their shield. Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord. He is their help and their shield. Go ahead.
The Lord have been mindful of us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless [clears throat] the house of Aaron. Go ahead.
He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. Go ahead. The Lord shall increase you more and more. You and your children. Ain't ain't you waiting for that?
Don't you want your children to increase and for you to increase as well? So the only way you gonna do that is you got to trust off in the Lord Jesus, sisters and brothers. So now keep reading. Go ahead. You are blessed of the Lord.
He said you are blessed of the Lord. Go ahead. Which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heaven are the Lord's, but the earth have he given to the children of men. Go ahead.
The dead praise not the Lord. So now he said the dead praise not the Lord. So you can't praise the Lord when you dead. You can't be so once you once you once you once you dead you just waiting on the resurrection now. So we all we just also read off in Romans the 10th chapter where he said with the mouth confession is made unto salvation and with the heart man believeth unto salvation.
That's when you alive sisters and brothers. Yes sir. So he said the dead praise not the Lord. Go ahead and read. Neither any that go down into silence.
Neither any that go down into silence. But now what we going to do at verse 18? Go ahead. But we will bless the Lord from from the time forth. Go ahead and forever more.
Go ahead. Praise the Lord. So don't tell me I ain't saved. And I just read this verse 18 right here. He said, "We will bless the Lord from this time forth and forever more." Sisters and brothers, that's from now even until the time that you die.
Listen. Yes, sir. Man, we gonna make some sense of it. So now, yes, sir. Let's go.
Now, let's show you that. Let's go. Let's go to Genesis the 6th chapter. Genesis 6. Let's go back and deal with Noah because we talked about grace, right?
And what did we read? I'm sorry. What did I say? I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I'm Yeah. Thank you. Let Thank you, babe. Let's go to Romans 5. She been gone.
I've been slipp house was tow up. Well, she Well, that house was tow up. But so don't tell me about no wife. You better love your wife. You better love your wife because when she came back, she cleaned that house in 10 minutes.
And we had [laughter] we did about five days worth of damage to her. Kingston gonna tell me, "Hey, all the things dirty in the kitchen." You know, [laughter] we tore that house up. But anyway, let's go now. Let's go to Romans 5. Let's go to Romans 5 and we going to pick it up at verse one.
Thank you, babe. Romans 5 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Romans 5 and one. Go ahead. Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Go ahead. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace. We talking about grace now. He said, "By whom also we have access by faith into this grace." Go ahead and read. Wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Go ahead. And not only so, but we glory in tribulation also. We glory in tribulations also, sisters and brothers. I'm learning to do that. I'm learning to glory when things go bad.
He said, "Glory in tribulations also." Go ahead. Knowing that tribulation work patience. Once you going through tribulation, it's going to work a little patience in you, sisters and brothers. Go ahead and read. And patience experience and experience hope.
Go ahead. And hope maketh not ashamed. And hope maketh not ashamed. Go ahead. Because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Because he gave us this Holy Ghost now. And he also said that you are sealed through the Holy Ghost or through the Holy Spirit. So now verse six, go ahead. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Go ahead.
For scarcely, for a righteous man will one die, yet preventure. For a good man, son would even dare to die. Go ahead. But God committed his love toward us. And that while we were yet sinners, go ahead.
Christ died for us. He said Christ died for us. So now pay attention to what he going to say in verse n. Go ahead and read. Much more then being now justified by his blood.
Being now justified by his blood. Go ahead. We shall be saved from wrath through him. So what you what you mean? What?
Don't that mean that you saved some? So how? So when you take of the Passover, don't that represent his blood? When we deal with the day of atonement, don't we come still come up under the blood of Jesus? So you justified by his blood.
So if you dealing with the blood of Jesus, you shall be saved from wrath through him. Sisters and brothers, pay attention to what you read. So now keep reading. Go ahead. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son.
Go ahead. Much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. I mean, I don't I mean, we can really sit down after this. He is telling you all over what it is, brother. He said, he said, "For if we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life." That's right now, sisters and brothers.
That's right. Now, so now, now let's go to Genesis the 6th chapter. Let's show you where God saved saved somebody. Let's go. Let's go.
See, saving can go in a lot of direction, sisters and brothers. But when we think about save, we just think about the spiritual body. And you're right for thinking about that. But see, God gonna take care of you right now. You ain't got to wait.
Why I'mma put you through all of this and ain't gonna give you no joy or no hope at all in me right now. You gonna turn away from it because you ain't got nothing to hope in. You ain't got nothing to hope in. So now, let's go to jail. We already know he gonna pour a blessing on us that we ain't going to have room to receive.
We know that. But God is in the business of saving you now. I've saved you from sin. I saved you from a car accident. I saved you from cancer.
I saved you from diabetes. So now let's go to Genesis 6 and we gonna pick it up at verse five. Genesis 6 and we going to pick it up at verse 5. Go ahead and read. And God saw the witness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thought of his heart was only evil continually.
Go ahead. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth. Go ahead. And it grieved him at his heart. It grieved him once he made man.
Now but we already read. See even after Noah thousands of years later, the world still got bad now because we just read that God had given the earth what? to the children of men. So the children of men are the children of the wicked one or the children of the devil, which was what was going on in this case right here. But now keep reading.
Go ahead. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from off the face of the earth, both man and beasts, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air. For it repented me that I have made them. Go ahead. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
What did Noah find? Noah found grace, sisters and brothers. And we read, "By grace are you saved." So he said, "But Noah, he found grace in the eyes of the Lord." So now, keep reading. Go ahead. Read verse nine.
These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation. Go ahead. And Noah walked with God. He walked with God.
So Noah need to be an example to all of us, sisters and brothers. See, Noah walked with God. He walked with the Lord now. And that's why he found grace in the eyes of the Lord when everybody else that was on the planet was wicked. But Noah had found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
So now let's skip down to verse 12. Go ahead. And God looked upon the earth. And behold, it was corrupt. For all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Go ahead. And God said unto Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them." Go ahead. And behold, I will destroy them with the earth. He said, "You don't you done messed my world up now." He said, "God said of the Noah, the end of all flesh has come before thee, for the earth is filled with violence through them, and behold, I will destroy them with the earth." That's what God did. Yes, sir.
But now, let's go to Second Peter 2, though. Second Peter 2. Second Peter 2. And we going to pick it up at verse four. We still dealing with Noah.
Now, let's go to Second Peter 2. And let's show you what God did for Noah because he walked with him. He walked with the Lord. So now, second Peter 2. Second Peter 2 and we going to pick it up at verse four.
Second Peter 2 and we going to pick it up at verse four. Second Peter 2 and let's pick it up at verse four. When you get there, go ahead, young L. For God spared not the angels that sin. Go ahead.
But cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment. And all these angels, you can't see them. You can't see them. But see, they not from they not from no outer space. They right here.
They they right here. They they in this atmosphere. This is where they was cast down to. But see, God put these evil angels in chains of darkness where you cannot see them, but they walking around. So the only way that these evil angels can show up to you now is in the form of a man, sisters and brothers.
So now he got to have a host. But now verse five, go ahead. and spared not the whole world. Go ahead. For save Noah, the eighth person.
So why why why was Noah saved? Noah was saved. Why? Because he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He said and spared not the old world but save Noah the eighth person.
Go ahead and read. A preacher of righteousness bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. And let's show you somebody else that he saved. Verse six, go ahead. And turn the cities of Sodom and Gomorra into ashes.
condemn them with an overthrow, making them making them an example to those that after should live ungodly. Go ahead. And deliver just Lot. He He killed everybody else, but he delivered. He saved Lot, but he killed everybody else and delivered just Lot.
Go ahead and read. Vex with the filthy conversation of the wicked. Vex with the filthy conversations of the wicked. Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. For that righteousness man dwelleth among them in seeing and hearing, vex is right.
revs his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds. Go ahead. The Lord know the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation. So what does that mean to you when you read this right here? Let me ask you this.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations. That means I know how to save you from being tempted. I'm saving you from temptation. That's right now, sisters and brothers. Go ahead, young line.
and to reserve the unjust until the day of judgment to be punished and to a and then I'm gonna get you in the end. That's why we tell you keep the Sabbath, keep it holy because you don't want God to deal with you at the end of the line when you have to deal with what he said off in Hebrews the 10th chapter. See, when when people died, I didn't put it in the lesson in Hebrews 10, but they died in the days of Moses after two or three witnesses. You got stoned, but it's a sore punishment now. I'm gonna get you in the end at the end of the line when you pollute the Lord's Sabbath day.
And that's the last time that you need to be ever in the Lord's presence and don't be saved, sisters and brothers. So now that's it. Okay, let's go to Ezekiel 9 now. Let's go to Ezekiel the 9th chapter. Ezekiel 9 and we going to pick it up at verse one.
Let's show you another times when the Lord saved the righteous sisters and brothers. Let's go to Ezekiel 9 and we going to pick it up at verse one. At this point in time, Israel started worshiping the sun god. They was worshiping Baal and you had all type of all type of for-footed and creeping beast that was even off in the temple sisters and brothers which had made none of that stuff. But yet is still Israel had put all of that stuff in the temple and that's why the Lord tore it down.
So now let's go to Ezekiel 9 now and we going to pick it up at verse one. Ezekiel 9 and1. Go ahead and read. He cried also in my ears with a loud voice, saying, "Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand." So, you know, we we we always cover this during the time of trumpets now. But these these men that have charge over the city, these was angels, sisters and brothers, they had charge over the city.
Verse six, go ahead. And behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lied toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand. And one man among them was clothed with blint with linen, with the with a writer's inkorn by his side. And they went in and stood beside the brazen. Go ahead.
And the glory of God of Israel was gone up from the chair whereupon he was to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the righteous incorn by his side. And the Lord said unto him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on upon the foreheads of the men that sigh, and that cry for all the abomination that be done in the midst thereof." So now, so you paying attention to what he said in verse four. So he getting ready to destroy Jerusalem, sisters and brothers. But he set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and cry for all the abominations that's done in the midst of the city.
So I'm going to destroy the city, but I'mma save these guys. I'm not going to let anything happen to these guys. So when you think about being saved, just think about it with a broad mind, sisters and brothers. Verse five, go ahead. And to the others, he said in my hearing, "Go ye after him through the city and smite.
Let not your eyes spare." Go ahead. Neither have you picked. See, they soldiers, sisters and brothers, and they take orders, they kill. Once the Lord give orders, that's why he they lord too. Not only ours, but also the the holy and the righteous angels.
So when the Lord gave them commandment to go through and smite the city, he said, "Let not your eyes spare. Neither have you pity." Verse six, go ahead. Slay old and young. I told you the Lord is an equal opportunity destroy your sisters and brothers. He'll destroy anybody that goes against him.
He says, "Sllay otherly, old and young." Go ahead. Both maids and little children and women. Go ahead. But come not near any man upon whom is the mark. Go ahead.
And begin at my sanctuary. You better pay attention to what he said. What did he start at? Start with the church people, not the people that wasn't going to church. He didn't start with them.
He started with the people that said that they believed in God. Those are the people that he started with. Go ahead. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house which which was before the house which were before the house and before the house was in front of the house. And if you go back I dare you to look to where in front of the house is.
The reason why the angels came by the way of the north gate. But I'll give it to you at another time. You get it. You get it in time. You know what?
Let me be quiet. But anyway, let's go a little bit further now. Let's go to St. Matthew the 14th chapter. of angels came by another way for a reason, sisters and brothers.
But let's go by St. Matthew the 14th chapter. Statue 14. Let's show you what Jesus Let's show you what he going to do with Peter. Let's go to St.
Matthew 14. And matter of fact, put you a marker here. We going to be in Matthew for a minute. Go to St. Matthew the 14th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse 23.
St. Matthew 14 and we going to pick it up at verse 23. Now, we done read this story a lot. We read it a lot lately, but pay attention to what's happening now. Let's go to St.
Matthew 14 and we going to pick it up at verse 23. Go ahead and read, young L. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray. And when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves.
Go ahead. For the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went unto them walking on the sea. He went unto him in the fourth watch of the night, sisters and brothers. And the fourth watch of the night started about 4:00 a.m.
That's the fourth watch of the night. So now go ahead and read. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is the spirit." Go ahead. And they cried out for fear. Oh, scary negroes right here.
Just scared as they want to be. They thought it was a spirit walking out there. So they they let you know, hey man, you think you a man and you all tough jump out at the screen in a horror movie, you be jumping all the way back. So Israel got that spirit. So he said, so and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, it is a spirit, and they cried out for fear.
But what Jesus say to him, go ahead. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Go ahead. Be of good cheer. Go ahead. It is I be not afraid.
And Peter answered him and said,"Lord, if it be loud, bid me come unto thee on the water." So now Peter going to get a little tough with the Lord. He said, "Lord, if it be you now, bid me to come unto thee on this water." So he going to tell. So what the Lord say to him? Go ahead. And he said, "Come." He said, "Come on out here.
Go ahead." And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Go ahead. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid and began to sink. He cried saying, "Lord, save me." What did he say to the Lord? Lord, save me.
Save me. He said, "Lord, save me." So he get ready. So he thought he was getting ready to be drowned. He walking on the water. And you see all of the wind is fortress.
And what did he say? He said, "Lord, save me." And what did the Lord do? Go ahead. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hands and caught him and said unto him, "Oh thou of little faith?" Go ahead. Wherefore did thou doubt?
So now if that wind was out there boisterous and the Lord wasn't out there to save you, what do you think would have happened to Peter at that time? Peter would have died. He would have died. But who saved him? The Lord saved him.
As soon as he asked for it, he stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, "Oh, thou of little faith. Wherefore didest thou doubt?" Jesus was telling him, "You was on your way. You would have made it if you would have walked." Keep reading. Go ahead. And when they were coming to the ship, the wind ceased.
Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying of a truth, thou art the son of God. See, they see and we gonna show you why they said this, sisters and brothers. They said of a true, "Thou art the son of God." See, they everybody keep reading. Go ahead. And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Guinness.
And when the men of the place And when the men of that place had had knowledge of him, they sent out into all the country round about and brought unto him all that were diseased and besought him that they might that they and besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment. Go ahead. And as many as touched as many as touched were made perfectly whole. All they had to do was touch the hem of his garment. So it was more than one person that touched the hem of his garment.
Sisters and brothers, it was more than one person that did that. We got a lesson on that. But they besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment. And as as many as touched him were made perfectly whole. But now let's uh let's go back up and read this.
Read verse 33 one more time because we going to make a point right here. Go back and read that verse 33 one more time. Go ahead. Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him saying of a truth thou art the son of God. So now they said of a truth now thou art the son of God.
So now let's go to St. Matthew the 16th chapter. St. Matthew 16 and we going to pick it up at verse 13. We going to show you why he said that.
Sisters and brothers. Let's go to St. Matthew the 16th chapter and we going to pick it up at verse 13. 16 and 13. Go ahead young line.
When Jesus came into the coast of Cesaria Philippe, he asked his disciples saying, "Whom do men say that I the son of whom do men say that I the son of man am?" Go ahead. And they said, "Some say that thou art John the Baptist?" And we and we and we all know who said that. Herodius said that. See, a lot of people thought that he was one of the other prophets or they thought that he was John the Baptist. Go ahead.
Some say Elias. Some say lies. Go ahead. And others Jeremiah. or one of the prophets because see it's a reason why they saying that now so they knew that Jesus was a special person but somebody else got to reveal to him who he really is so now he going to ask the disciples something verse 15 go ahead he said unto them but whom say ye that I am but whom ye say that I am what did Peter say go ahead and Simon Peter answered and said go ahead thou art the Christ the son of the living God he said thou art the Christ the son of the living God but once he walked on that water came back in that boat.
That's when they had already confessed that already. So now he said, "Thou art the son of the living God." Verse 17, go ahead. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Go ahead. Blessed art thou, Simon Baron. He said, "Blessed art thou, Simon Barjonah." Go ahead.
For fle for for flesh and blood have not revealed it unto thee. Go ahead. But my father which is in heaven. That's why you got to know who he is. You got to know that Jesus is your Lord and your Savior, sisters and brothers.
And the only person that can reveal that to you is the father which dwell in the third heaven. That's the only way you gonna know. So now keep reading. Go ahead. And I say also unto thee that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church.
Go ahead. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Go ahead. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Go ahead.
And whatsoever thou shalt bound on earth shall be bound in heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Man, I wish man would come to me and tell me after Jesus said this to me that I ain't saved you. You going to give me the keys of the kingdom and whatsoever thou shalt bound on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Jesus told this to a mortal man, sisters and brothers, to a mortal man.
And they were alive at this time. So now, what else did he tell him in verse 20? Go ahead. Then charge he his disciples that they should not tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. So he didn't want nobody to know.
He wanted the father to re reveal to him of who he actually was. So that's why he telling don't tell no man who I am. So now let's go a little bit further now. Let's show you what can kind of hinder you a little bit. Let's go to St.
Matthew the 15th chapter. Just go back one chapter. Go to St. Matthew 15. And this this this chapter right here.
I'm talking to everybody in this room once we read this right here. Let's go to St. Matthew 15 and we gonna pick it up at verse 21. And also those that's watching online, we want you to we we going to make some sense of what we getting ready to read. Let's go to St.
Matthew 15 and we going to pick it up at verse 21. St. Matthew 15 and let's pick it up at verse 21. When you get there, young line, go ahead and read. Then Jesus went then and departed to the coast of Tyrie and Sid.
Go ahead. And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coast and cried unto him, saying, "Have mercy on me, oh Lord, thou son of David." Go ahead. My daughter is grievously vexed with the devil. So now this woman, she was a woman of Canaan. Now she was not an Israelite.
But she said, "Have mercy on me, oh Lord, thou son of David." He said, "My father is grievously vexed with the devil." Now go ahead and read. But he answered her not a word. But he answered her not a word. Go ahead. And his disciples came and besaw him, saying, "Go ahead.
Send her away. Go ahead." For she cried after us. So now, you know, bless the disciples hard, sisters and brothers, because see, they already knew what Jesus had told them to go not into the way of the Gentiles or into any of the nations of that matter. But now we going to show you that Jesus didn't turn this woman away. Verse 24, go ahead.
But he answered and said, Go ahead. I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Go ahead. Then came she and worshiped him saying, "Lord, help me. Lord, help me." Then she came worshiping him, saying, "Lord, help me." Go ahead and read.
But he answered and said, "Go ahead. It is not meat to take the children's bread." Go ahead. And to cast it to dogs. Do you understand what the children's bread is? Don't you understand that the ch deliverance is the children's bread?
That's how you get delivered. Deliverance is the children's bread. So anytime you try to pray demons out of somebody and they're not a believer, you gonna run into a roadblock because how you gonna cast out devils out of somebody and they don't even believe that he Jesus. So we tried to cast devils out of a girl in here one time and she turned around. We pray over her and she laughed.
But you know why? Because she was no believer in the first place. So you can't do the deliverance is the children's bread, sisters and brothers. So that's why Jesus said he said he answered and said it is not meat to take the children's bread and to cast at the dogs. But now Jesus is the God of all nations.
What did he say in verse 27? Go ahead. And she said truth Lord. He said truth Lord. Go ahead.
Yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table. Hey, I'm still going to get this bread know whether you want me to be here or not. So now we already read. He said, "Whether you be Jew or Greek, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved, sisters and brothers, whosoever call on it," Go ahead and read. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, Go ahead.
"Oh woman, great is thy faith." He said, "Great is thy faith." Go ahead. Be it unto thee even as thou wilt. Go ahead. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. She was made whole from that very hour, sisters and brothers.
That's why we say, "Hey, you you you ain't going to get this grace and you not going to be saved if you not a believer in the Lord." So, you can't be praying over people that don't believe. Like, I had a I had a you know, a sodomite girl at my job. And, you know, she I'm real cool with the girl. She said, you know, I want you to pray for me after after we leave today. But I said, "Sister, you need to pray and fast for yourself.
Then call me in and I'm going to pray for you because you got to believe it first." Amen. You got to be the one that believe that the Lord can bring you out of whatever you dealing with. You got to believe that. So now, let's show you. Let's let's go.
Let's show you where believers get caught up in. Now, let's go now to St. John the 11th chapter. St. John the 11th chapter.
I'm sorry, we already Yeah. Yeah. St. John 11. St.
John 11. I'm right. But let's show you that God is the God of all people. Let's go to St. John the 11th chapter.
Let's show you got to believe it first. Try praying over somebody and try to release demons and they don't even believe in it. How you going to be healed from your sickness and you don't believe that he is Jesus? St. John 11.
Yes, sir. And we going to pick it up at verse 45. St. John 11 and we going to pick it up at verse 45. Go ahead, young L.
Then many of the Jews which came to Mary and had seen the things which Jesus did believed on him. See, they believed. So you got to believe in them. Now go ahead and read. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees and told them what things Jesus had done.
Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a counsel and said, "What do we this man? What do we but this man doeth many miracles? If we let him thus alone, and all men will believe on him, and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation." always sc always scatter the government and scatter the police. Sisters and brothers, they said, "If we if we believe on him, then the Romans shall come and take away both our place and our nation." Verse 49, go ahead. And one of them named Kais being the high priest the same year said unto them, "You know nothing at all, nor consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not." Go ahead.
And this fake he not of himself. But being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for the nation. But now he he so he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for that nation now. But now what else is Jesus going to die for? Go ahead.
And not for that nation only. And not just for the nation of Israel. This why the woman at Canaan got saved now. And not for that nation only. Go ahead.
But that also he should gather together and one in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. All of the children of God, all you got to do is believe on it. It ain't Jew nor Greek. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved, sisters and brothers. So he going to gather together in one all the children of God that was scattered abroad.
So now verse 53, go ahead. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. They wanted to kill him then. They ready to kill him young. They was ready to kill it.
But see, a lot of people didn't believe in him. So now let's go to St. Mark the six chapters and we going to show you, you know, let's deal with the believers because see the believers tend to feel that they got a c block card because they believe in God that he going to take it easy on you when you sin. Let's see if that's the case. Let's see.
Let's show you how you block your blessings. How you come into a roadblock on your own blessings because as a believer you can do it, too. So now let's go to St. Mark 6 and we going we going to pick it up. We gonna pick it up at verse one.
St. Mark 6 and1. Go ahead and read. And he went out from d and came into his own country. And his disciples followed him.
And when the Sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence has this man these things? And what wisdom is this which he given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hand? Go ahead. Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary?
Go ahead. The brother of James and Joseph. Go ahead. And of Judah and Simon. And are not his sisters here with us?
Go ahead. And they were offended at him. You know this ain't nobody. Well, but he must be somebody. You You talking all this about him?
He said, "Why did he get all this wisdom?" They said, "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the son of James and Joseph, and of Simon, and now his sisters you're with us?" And they were offended at him. But what did Jesus say? Go ahead and read. But Jesus said unto them, Go ahead. A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country and among his own king.
Go ahead. And in his own house. Go ahead. And he and he could and he could. And he could there do no mighty work save that he laid his hands on a few sick folks and healed them because he couldn't work for them.
He couldn't bless him the way that he wanted to bless them because they didn't believe him. See, you can believe you can do that, too. If you don't believe that you don't supposed to pollute the Sabbath or commit adultery, but yet you do it every now and then and you call yourself a believer, he ain't going to do them mighty works for you either. So you can block your own blessing, sisters and brothers, by not obeying your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So he only laid a few hand on a few sick folks because they didn't believe in him, sisters [clears throat] and brothers.
That's the reason why we say, "Hey, deliverance is the children's bread." So now, was that it? Go ahead. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. But he said he marvelled because of their unbelief. Go ahead.
And he went and he went round about the villages teaching. He went round about in the villages teaching. But he marveled that they didn't believe when they saw all the miracles that he did. So that's how you can block your own blessings. But we not talking about that today.
Not too much. Anyway, let's go to Hebrews 10. Let's go to Hebrews 10. Because see, we ain't going to draw by. We going to keep on pushing.
We got to keep on striving for salvation every day. Every minute of the day. Every minute of the day. You need to be trying to quote some scripture in your mind to keep you away from sinning against him. Let's go to Hebrews 10 now and let's pick it up at verse 35.
Hebrews 10 and 35. Go ahead and read. Cast not away therefore your confidence. Cast not therefore away your confidence. Go ahead.
Which have great recap of reward. Go ahead. For you have need of patience that after you have done the will of God, go ahead, you might receive the promise. He said, he said, for you have need of patience that after ye have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. Now, the promise is the eternal body.
Verse 37. Go ahead. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come. Go ahead. That will not tar.
He will not tarry now. But now, what did he say about the people that are alive now? Verse 38. Go ahead. Now the just shall live by faith.
Now the just shall live by faith. Go ahead. But if any man draw back, go ahead. My soul shall have no pleasure in him. And we understand you can draw back into predition now.
But but you don't want to be amongst those people that draw back the sin. You don't want to lose your grace that you have worked so hard for. But now verse 39, go ahead. But we are not of them draw back. But we are not of them who draw back what?
Unto predition. Go ahead. But of them that believe to the saving of the soul. But to them that believe to the saving of the soul, sisters and brothers, that's talking about right now. We believe unto the saving of the soul right now.
So now let's go a little bit further. Now, now let's deal with the spiritual body. Let's go to first Corinthians the 15th chapter. 1 Corinthians 15 and we going to pick it up at verse one. Now this what you got for this the whole mission here.
This something that we can't found. We can't we can't s understand or even think we know a god who's uh lightning going up and down his body. His eyes as a flame of fire. You know he got he the he the son you know the son of the morning. We don't understand it because see that's the that's the spiritual body.
That's going to be what's to come sisters and brothers. Amen. Let's go to first Corinthians 15 and we going to pick it up at verse one. 1 Corinthians 15 and1. Go ahead.
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand. Go ahead. By which also ye are saved. Wait a minute. Now, he said, "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I have preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand, by which also ye are saved." Go ahead and read.
If you keep in memory what I preached unto you, go ahead. Unless you have believed in vain. So, you got to throw this in. Now, that's why that big if is in there for because he said, "If you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain." But now, if you ain't doing this, he said right now you saved. Verse three, go ahead.
For I delivered unto you first of all, that which I received also receive. How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that's off in Isaiah 53. Go ahead and read.
and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. See all of it is the scriptures sisters and brothers. See the scriptures are not just the old testament because there was nowhere where he said in the scriptures that he was going to ride in the on on the third day in the old testament but he told us in Matthew 12 because at this time he had already been preaching for about 15 to 16 years. So those books was already written the gospels. So the gospels are also the scriptures.
So now verse five, go ahead. And that he was seen of Keith, then of the 12. After that he was seen of about of above 500 brethren at once, of whom the greater part remained until this present. Go ahead. But some are fallen asleep.
Some have fallen asleep. That means some of the people, a lot of the people are alive that saw Jesus die on the cross, but then some of them were dead. But now skip down to verse 10. Go ahead. But by but by the grace of God, I am what I am.
Go ahead. And his grace which was bes was was bes which was bestowed upon me was not in vain. Go ahead. But I labor more abundantly than they are. Yeah.
Not I, but the grace of God which was with me. So you don't want to turn that grace away. He said, "But the grace of God which was with me." Go ahead and read. Therefore, whether it were I or they, so we preached and so ye believed. Go ahead.
Now if he now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you there be no resurrection of the dead? Because see some people don't believe in the resurrection, sisters and brothers, some people don't believe in the power of God. Go ahead and read. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, go ahead. Then is Christ not risen?
And if Christ be not risen, it is our preaching in vain and your faith is also vain. Yeah. And we were found false witness of God because we have testified of God that he raised us that he raised up Christ whom he raised not up. If so be that if so be that the dead rise not. If so be that the dead rise not.
So all this raising up Jesus from the dead. We preached all of this now. So now he said if if you don't believe then then our preaching is in vain. So now verse 16 go ahead. For the dead rise not.
He said, "For if the dead rise not, Go ahead. Then is not Christ raised?" Go ahead. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain. Go ahead. Yet ye are ye are yet in your sins.
You yet in your sins. That's why we preach all the time. You got to have the Jesus that died on the cross, the blood that came and when they pierced his side. But you also have to have a live Jesus so he can sit on the right hand of the father and make intercessions for the sins that you have committed. So now keep reading.
Go ahead. Verse 18. Go ahead. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. Go ahead.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ. Pay attention to what he's saying. Now he said, "For in this life only we have hope in Christ." Go ahead and read. We are all men most miserable. We are all men most miserable, sisters and brothers.
If you only had life uh hope in this life. Go ahead. But now as Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept. Go ahead. For since by man came death, by man also came the resurrection of the dead.
And we know about that man that had death, we know that that was Adam, sisters and brothers. When Adam died in the Garden of Eden, that was after that we started throwing dirt on top of people and buried them six feet up. So by death came by by man came death, but by man came also the resurrection from the dead. So now verse 22, the Bible going to tell us that. Go ahead.
For as in Adam all died. For as in Adam all died. Go ahead. Even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Go ahead.
But every man in his own order. He said, "But every man in his own order." Now it's going to be an order to it. Christ going to rise first. And then once Christ return, those that have died, they going to rise and then those that are alive at the coming of Christ, they going to get the spiritual change while they are alive. Go ahead and read.
Christ the first fruit. Go ahead. Afterward, they that are Christ at his coming. Afterward, they that are Christ at his coming. So now, let's skip down at verse 35 and go ahead and read.
But some men will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?" Go ahead. Thou food. That which thou seest is not quickened except it die. So now remember when we read that Christ had quickened us already for when we was dead in sin and trespasses that we should live with Christ right now.
He said he said thou he said let's go back read that verse one more time young line go ahead verse 36 thou food that which thou seest is not quickened go ahead except it die. It's not he said it's not quickened except it's die. So now that's spiritually and physically sisters and brothers. Spiritually you got to let the old man die now [laughter] and you got to be alive with Christ. But now verse 37 go ahead.
And that which thou seest thou soest not that body that shall be. Go ahead. But bear grain that bear grain. That means you got to wait on it. Now go ahead and read.
It may it may chance of wheat or of some other grain. But God giveth a body as it have pleased him, and to every seed his own body. Go ahead. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of man, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. Go ahead.
There are there are also celestial bodies. He says there are also celestial bodies, sisters and brothers. And we know that the celestial bodies, those of the sun and the moon and the stars, go ahead and read. embodies terrestrial embodies terrestrial. Those terrestrial bodies are human beings.
Go ahead and read. But the glory of the celestial is one. He said, "But the glory of the celestial is one." Go ahead. And the glory of terrestrial is another. Go ahead.
There is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars. But one star different from another star in glory. Go ahead. So also is the resurrection of the dead. He says, "So also is the resurrection of the dead." Go ahead.
It is sown in corruption. It's sown in corruption. We got a corruptible body. We got to take baths. We got to go to the bathroom.
We get sick. We tear ligaments. We tear our arms up. Go ahead and read. It is raised in incorruption.
But it's going to be raised in incorruption. So once you raise, you're not going to die no more. It's going to be an incorruptible body that we do not have the mind to receive right now. Verse 43. Go ahead.
It is sown and dishonored. It is sown and dishonor. Go ahead. It is raised in glory. But it's going to be raised in glory, sisters and brothers.
See, this going to be the end result. This going to be the end result of you following God's will and his mission today. It is sown in dishonor. It is raised in glory. Go ahead.
It is sown in weakness. It is sown in weakness. Go ahead. It is raised in power. That's how you going to be.
But you going to be raised in power, sisters and brothers. You going to be raised in power. Go ahead. It is sown in a natural body. It is raised a spiritual body.
There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. It's a natural body and it's going to be a spiritual body. But now let's skip down to verse 50 and go ahead and read. Now this I say brethren that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
It ain't going to be no flesh and blood once the father and the son bring bring the kingdom down to the earth. It ain't going to be no more flesh and blood no more. Go ahead and read. Neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery.
We shall not we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. See, that's going to be the end result. We shall be changed, sisters and brothers. We going to have the spiritual body. We going to walk around with the Lord.
The way that the Lord light up, your body going to light up the same way. Verse 53, go ahead. For this corruptible must put on incorruption. For this corruptible must put on incorruption. Go ahead.
And this mortal must put on immortality. We must put it on. We must put it on because you fought the good fight of faith. You got to put on this body. Go ahead and read.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written. Go ahead. Death is swallowed up in victory. Death going to be swallowed up in victory, sisters and brothers. That's how he going to get rid of death.
See, the last thing that's going to be destroyed is death. And then he going to swallow up death in victory, sisters and brothers. Let's go to Revelations 2 now. We only got a few more after this. Let's go to Revelations 2.
Revelations 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 25. Revelations 22. Oh, Revelations 2 rather. And we going to pick it up at verse 25. Revelation 2 and we going to pick it up at verse 25.
2 and 25. We going to let everybody get there. Revelations 2 and pick it up at verse 25. Go ahead and read. But that which he have already hold fast till I come.
Go ahead. And he that overcometh and keeping my works until the end. Go ahead. To him will I give power over the nation. Now he's talking about you dying in the word of God.
Now he's talking about you dying now. He said, "He that overcomemeth and keepeth my works unto the end, to he said to him will I give power over the nations." Go ahead. And he shall rule them with the rod of iron. Go ahead. As the vessels of a pot up potter shall they be broken to shivers, even as I received of my father.
Even as I have received of my father. Go ahead and read. And I will give him the morning star. And I will give him the morning star. What you think the morning star is?
That's his divine presence. you going to have it too. That's what the morning star really is. See, the morning star are spiritual beings. You ain't flesh and blood no more.
Go ahead and read. He that have an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the church. Let him hear what the spirit said unto the churches now. So, let's go to second Corinthians 3. 2 Corinthians 3.
2 Corinthians 3. We only got two more after this. Let's go to 2 Corinthians 3. And we going to pick it up at verse 12. 2 Corinthians 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 12.
I did this lesson so you can keep striving, you know, because we we be coming to class sad all the time, but we got to realize we come here to serve the Lord. We come to clap our hands and have a good time with him. So now 2 Corinthians 3 and we going to pick it up at verse 12. Let's talk about Moses a little bit. 2 Corinthians 3 and 12.
Go ahead. Seeing then that we have such hope. He says, "Seeing then that we have such hope." Go ahead. We use great plainness of speech. Go ahead.
And not as Moses which put a veil over his face that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is above. Moses had to put a veil on his face because the children of Israel, they could not deal with the righteousness of God. So when Moses was up with the Lord for 40 days and 40 nights, the second time, his face had began to change. Now he said, "Not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished." Go ahead and read. But their minds were blinded.
He said, "But their minds were blinded." Go ahead. For until this day remainth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament. Go ahead. which veil is done away with in Christ. Which veil is done away with in Christ.
He ain't saying that he did away with the Old Testament. He talking about those things that we did in the Old Testament. That veil was taken away and was done away with in Christ like the like like the Levitical priesthood because we under the priesthood of Melzdc now. So we know Christ is the veil now. So verse 15, go ahead.
But even unto this day, go ahead. When Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. the veil is upon their heart once you go off and you start reading the writing of Moses. That's why when we start these lessons off and we talk about the Sabbath, we go and deal with Moses, sisters and brothers. But now verse 16, go ahead.
Nevertheless, when it shall when it shall turn to the Lord. Go ahead. The veil shall be taken away. Nevertheless, when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. And we going to show you next when the veil going to be taken away from the entire world.
Verse 17. Go ahead. Now the Lord is that spirit. Now the Lord is that spirit. Go ahead.
And where the spirit of the Lord is, go ahead. There is liberty. It's liberty where the spirit of the Lord is. Sisters and brothers, go ahead and read. But we all with open face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord or changed into the same image from glory to glory.
Go ahead. Even as by the spirit of the Lord. And that's why you alive, sisters and brothers. I keep saying that for a reason. That's right.
Now, you going to go from glory to glory even by the spirit of the Lord. So now, let's go a little further. Let's show you when the veil going to be taken away from the world. Sisters and brothers, one day that everybody going to get the commandments and they going to be flying to go up to the temple to deal with the Lord. Everybody in the world going to do it.
Let's go to Isaiah 25 and we going to pick it up at verse 7. See, what was going on with the children of Israel was going to be what was going to happen to the world because of the children of Israel. The children of Israel had a veil on their face. So therefore, now the world got a work got a veil on their face. But when God come back, he going to remove this veil and he going to show us this right here.
Let's go to Isaiah 25 and pick it up at verse 7. Isaiah 25 and 7. Go ahead. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people. Go ahead.
And the veil that is spread over all nations. He going to take it away then, sisters and brothers. So let's read 1 Corinthians 15 again. Let's show you where Paul got it from. Verse eight.
Go ahead. He will swallow up death and victory. He will swallow up death and victory. Go ahead. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces.
And the re and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off the earth. For the Lord have spoken. Go ahead. And it shall be said in that day, lo, this is our God. Yes, we have waited for him and he will save us.
Wait a minute now. What is he going to do? He will save us now. And it shall be said in that day, lo, this is our God. We have waited for him, and he will save us.
Go ahead. This is the Lord. Go ahead. We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
See, that's what you got to be a savior for. A savior brings salvation, sisters and brothers. So verse 10, go ahead. For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be tried down under unto him, even as a straw is tried down for the don. Even and he and he talking about Moab going down.
He got this from Moses. Isaiah got that from Moses cuz he tell you about that off in numbers the 24th chapter. So he going to take the veil off of the earth, sisters and brothers. And then everybody going to see exactly who Jesus is. Yes.
So now let's go to first Corinthians 1. 1 Corinthians 1 and we going to read one verse right here. We going to read verse 18 and this going to be it. Let's go to first Corinthians 1 and we going to read verse 18. First Corinthians 1 and we going to read verse 18.
Go ahead and read. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishly. Go ahead. But unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. So what did it say?
Hello. What did he say we got? He said, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God." And I hope you got some understanding in Jesus Christ. Thank y'all [applause] for Okay, we going to call our beloved elder to come up here and read the law. Great lesson.

Thou shall not make unto me any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Thou shall not bow down thyelves to them, nor serve them. I the Lord thy God am jealous God visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children until the third and fourth generation of them that hate me and showing mercy thousands of them that love me keep my commandments thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain for the walk for the Lord will not hold him guiltless taketh his name in vain remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy six days shall thou labor and do all thy work. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. In it thou shalt not do any work, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man's servant, nor thy maid servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all that end of his, and rested the seventh day.
Wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and holy. Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal.
